Momo's POV
'Where am I?' I thought as I saw nothing but smoke in my face. I kept walking around slowly, feeling all of my surroundings so I don't bump into anything. 'Why am I here?' this place seems a little familiar to me, but I can't remember where. I then heard a little girl scream "Mommy, daddy, brother SOMEONE HELP ME!"
I run towered her as fast as I could but when I got to where the screaming was at. Blank. Nothing. No fire. No little girl. Just a room that seemed perfectly fine. "HELP ME PLEASE IM SCARED AN-" her plead for help was cut by a boy "SHUT UP ALREADY!" I hear the boy say before slapping her. I run down the a narrow hallway. Once reached the room where I heard the little girl screaming, I open the door and stood there frozen.
I see two bodies on the floor covered in blood. Then I see the girl that was yelling on the floor. The boy sitting right next to the bodies quivering and… smiling. He looks at me and says "I never thought it'll be this much fun… there's only one left to go." His face and hands were covered in blood, but nothing of it shook me more than the smile he had on his face going from ear-to-ear. I knew this kid from somewhere. I see the little girl trying to get up, but he punches her back and she falls flat on the floor again. He repeatedly started to punch and kick her. "STOP!" I yelled. I grab the nearest object to me, which was apparently a vase, and chunked it at him. Turning his head to me I kicked him. I grabbed the little girl and ran out of the house. Once we got outside I set her down on the ground. It was night with little twinkling stars here and there and the moon was full. No house was in sight; nothing but land. I looked back, but the house that we were in became land. I turned to the girl once again. She looked up at me with fear, "Are mommy, daddy, and brother going to come outside?" she asked. I didn't answer I couldn't tell her. I hear sirens coming and see the ambulance as well as the fire fighters coming. But there was no house in sight. I turned around again and saw the burning house going down to ashes. I see all of the first responders running to the burning house. Once they started to get the fire out, one of the medics came up to girl. "What's your name, sweetie?" she asked. 'I swear I've seen this before I know this from somewhere, but… where?' I thought. I could've sworn I knew this place. I've been here before, but when? "My name is Emily and mommy, daddy, and big brother are still in there." she said as she pointed towards the burning house. My eyes widen in realization. This place was… "MOMO!"
Ritsu's POV
I felt Momo moving the bed then I heard her yell "STOP!" I got up quickly and looked at her. 'Thank God I told her to sleep right next to me' I thought. Her face was covered in sweat and she kept tossing and turning. I started to shake her a little. She stopped moving? I frantically started to shake her awake, but nothing. "MOMO!" I yelled. Her eyes widen and she jolted up. Tears coming down her face quickly she didn't notice until I wiped a tear away. "Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah I'm fine… I'm going to get some water you go back to sleep." She left the room shaking and breathing heavy. I looked at the clock on the nightstand and saw that it was only 6:53 am. 'I might as well get up now maybe I won't see Takano-San if I go to work early for once' I got out of bed and went to the kitchen where she was at. She just stood there as if she was a stone. "Momo are you sure everything is okay?" she quickly grabbed a cup.
"Yeah everything's fine, don't worry about me." I know she's not okay, but I know I shouldn't press on the matter so I let it be. "Okay then I'll be in the shower then go to work. Oh actually do you want to come with me? You don't have school right?" I asked maybe if I bring her with me she might forget whatever is on her mind.
"Okay" she said quietly. I left the room and took a shower.
7:30 am. Read the clock. As I wake to the Emerald Department. Momo went to grab something to drink I went on ahead. When I got the office I saw an envelope on my desk with a very beautiful calligraphy written on it was "For Onodera Ritsu-shii" addressed to me I opened it. Even though I didn't know this person.

"Why is he using '-No Kimi' we're aren't royalty of the past. Why should I be careful in the ides of March? What exactly does this person know about me? Who even sent me this?" that was in my head for the rest of the day.
8:48 am. Momo was sitting on the floor right next to me. She refused to sit in a chair so she sat next to me on the floor. I look over my shoulder at her, pain and confusing was present yet she said nothing. Everyone started to slowly arrived, after a couple minutes later at Emerald was filling with yelling from the editors on the phone. Hell week is coming sooner this month maybe this is what the person meant by 'beware the ides of march.' Takano-San called me out to the hall way. I followed since he is my boss unfortunately. "Why did you leave without me this morning?" he asked.
"I don't think I need to tell you that it's my business what time I want to enter work and I don't believe I need to justify myself to you Takano-San. If you excuse me I need to get back to work." I left a shocked Takano-San. I wasn't having it today especially with that look on Momo's face.
3:00 pm. I feel a strange presence as if someone was watching me. I look up thinking that Takano-San was looking at me, but nothing as a matter of fact only Kisa-San and Hatori-San were here. "Hey, Hatori-San where's Momo, Mino-San, and Takano-San?" I asked.
"I think Takano-San is at a meeting for an author. Mino went to go check up with an author. And Rin-Chan is…" he trailed off. "Aaahh Ricchan looks like you can't keep an eye on your daughter now. She left about an hour ago with said something about meeting up with an old friend. Whatever that means." Kisa-San continued.
It's true that I block out my surroundings when I'm focused on work, but why did she leave.
5:27 pm. I saw someone coming into the department. My eyes widen her clothes. Stained. Ripped. Blood was everywhere. On her face and on her hands. Everyone gasped as they saw her coming in. I just stared in shock. 'No. This can be happening why did she…?' I thought to myself. Looking directly into my eyes not even adverting them for one second she spoke "My name is Emily and I am a soldier." was all that left her mouth as she collapsed.
Okay now I FINALLY got to actually put this up that's not through mobile.
So Father's Day is coming soon and I'm thinking bout a cute little one-shot for them
