A/N: It's been a couple of months, but I've decided to update this story. And the reason why it was so slow is because I didn't have the time to write this story. Also, whenever I did try to write this story, I would lose interest almost immediately. Why? Because most of the reviews I get are either: "You aren't doing this story right" or "TT Robin is in the wrong characterization because *insert biased opinion here*."

I am not claiming to know everything about a single character, and despite what some of you might think, I have watched both shows. I have even read the comics of Batman and the like. I know how my characters will act given a situation I put them in. These are my versions of the characters, as noted by the website title 'fanfiction'. That being said, I'm not saying that one Robin is superior than the other. In terms of brute strength, obviously TT Robin wins in that department. If you have a problem with how this story is going, check the AN at the end of the chapter, and hopefully it will solve it.

Disclaimer: I don't own Young Justice or Teen Titans.

"Great…Where am I?" Robin mused as he looked around Jump City and tried to get a familiar glimpse on where he was. He didn't, however, and began to scratch his head in frustration. He kept a composed face, even though he felt raging emotions well up inside him. "Okay…" He told himself as he glanced around on an empty street, "Really should have looked at a map before I went out," he lectured at himself as he looked both ways down the empty street.

He heard a scuffling behind him and immediately turned around. He noticed that a rat was scurrying on the ground and almost let out a sigh of relief. He turned back around and saw Dr. Light running away towards him. Robin, who thought that the chain of events were strange, kept a distance as he followed after the man.

"Team!" Robin called out into the 'T' communicator as he quickly took it out. "I have sight of him, he's running towards the south direction," Robin stated as Dr. Light disappeared into an alley way. The boy wonder narrowed his eyes as he followed after him, only to see that the alley was a dead end. He growled as he placed the communicator down by his side.

"Hear you loud and clear, Robin!" Cyborg's voice came from the device as static soon replaced the voice and it became silent.

Robin walked over to the dead end slowly and placed his green gloved hand on the wall. He moved it down slightly, and after seeing no other way for the villain to escape, dropped it. "Did he manipulate the light waves to travel through a solid object?" He asked himself in a low tone.

He was about to turn around when he suddenly felt a presence behind him. He narrowed his eyes and flexed his fingertips, making himself prepared for a fight. Robin quickly flipped behind him as a fist narrowly missed him. He landed on a box, and had his legs underneath his body, ready to move quickly. On instinct, the teen took out a bird-a-rang and poised it in his dominant hand.

"Ah, quick…But not completely unexpected," mused a girl's voice as she came out of the darkness that enveloped the alley way. Robin narrowed his eyes, he knew that voice.

"Cheshire," he stated as he examined the teen girl who was dressed in a green kimono and had on a white cat mask with green eyes. "What brings you to Jump City?" He asked, knowing how much his version of Cheshire liked to play with her targets. He assumed since she resembled a cat, he was the mouse of this scenario.

The girl cocked her head to the side, letting her long black pigtails fall to the side as well. "Curious as to how you know me, boy wonder," she stated as she placed her arms to her sides in a nonthreatening manner.

Robin smiled cheekily as he hopped down from the box that he was on and also placed his hands by his sides; as a form of mutual understanding. Though, the boy knew he was playing with fire with this girl. If she were to attack him, he doubt he would barely have the time to block. "It's hard finding a face that I wouldn't know," he admitted as he grinned, "Especially with such a symbolic mask," he pointed out as Cheshire let out a cackle.

"Is that so?" She asked as she stood up straighter, "How is that archer doing?" She asked, trying to sound disinterested.

"Archer?" Robin questioned as she shook her head. He had a hard time trying to tie in the connections from this universe. In his own, Roy seemed to be involved with the masked assassin. He figured that there must be some parallels from where he came from to this one. "Wears a mask like mine?" He asked as Cheshire shrugged her shoulders.

"I suppose it doesn't matter," she mused as she placed a hand on her waist, though her sleeves to her kimono were longer than an average one. Robin knew it was because of her artificial long fingernails that were coated in toxic poison. "I am assuming that he's doing well?" Cheshire asked, "Since the Brotherhood is still thawing from that incident and all," she stated cryptically.

Robin nodded, "Yeah, he's doing alright," he said as he placed both hands on his waist, somewhat copying Cheshire's stance. "He's part of the Team after all," he said positively.

Cheshire placed her arm down by her side again, "Noted," she said as there was a thick silence between the two of them, "You seem different than usual," she mused as she took a single step closer to the young teen. "I never took you to be the type who would be so talkative…" She trailed as she examined the boy's still smiling face. She thought he was acting too…relaxed. She was an enemy, and yet, she hadn't been met with a fight yet.

"Well, you never told me what you were doing in the city," Robin pointed out with a shrug, "Seems a little cocky to attack you without receiving an answer."

"The question is, will you like what my answer is?" She taunted challengingly as she crossed her arms; her long sleeves dangling by her sides.

Robin didn't change his stance, "That is entirely up to you," he edged on as Cheshire started to cackle slightly, before erupting into a roar of laughter.

Once she settled down she nodded, "I see now," she said cryptically, "You righteous heroes are quite an ordeal, aren't you?" She asked rhetorically as she shook her head. She looked back up at him, "You will receive your puzzle pieces quickly enough, young hero," she stated as Robin nodded. He dealt with the Riddler on a daily basis. He knew a riddle was meant to be solved by the person that it was addressed. That, and it didn't make matters more helpful that Cheshire was based on a character within a child's book.

"You won't leave me in the dark too long, will you?" Robin taunted as she placed her arms by her sides.

"Now, where will the fun in that be?" Cheshire asked rhetorically as her entire body disappeared, except for her Cheshire cat mask. It seemingly floated above the street and disappeared into the darkness that was in the alley.

Once the assassin was gone, Robin closed his eyes slowly before opening them once again. He regained his composure and tried to solve the pieces that he was already addressed. He started to walk out of the alley when his communicator went off. "Yeah?" He called into it.

"Dr. Light has been captured," Raven stated in her dry, monotone voice.

"Really? I wanted to take him out!" Cyborg whined from the other side of the line.

Beast Boy's laugh was heard, "You snooze, you lose!" He remarked as Cyborg growled in response.

"Please, friend Cyborg, why were you sleeping?" Starfire questioned as Robin slowly turned town the audio level of the communicator. He looked around the area once again, he felt like he was being watched. Not by the assassin from before; this one was new. "Robin?" Starfire's voice rang out as Robin blinked his eyes as he turned up the volume once again. Although his detective instincts were yelling at him to investigate, he decided not to.

"Sorry," he apologized, "What did you say?" He quickly asked as he started to walk out of the alley.

Cyborg let out a whine, "She asked if you wanted to celebrate; and BB's adamant that we get veggie pizza…Again!" He argued over the communicator.

Beat Boy let out a shriek of annoyance, "Dude! You know how I feel about dead animals on my food!" He yelled as Robin was starting to develop a headache from the pointless bickering between the two.

"Robin, you know how to get back to the Tower, right?" Cyborg asked as Robin nodded at his voice, even though he knew that no one could see him.

"Yeah…" Robin trailed as he looked up at the horizon and noticed a giant 'T' on an isolated island that was sticking out like a sore thumb.

"Good, we'll settle this at the tower then!" Cyborg said in a stern voice, "Last one there is a square!" He rang out in a sing song voice.

Beast Boy huffed, "The only square is you!" He argued in a weak tone. Robin turned off his communicator and stored it away as he glanced behind him. He looked over the city and shook his head. Now was the time to deal with whatever was out there. He knew his limits. The teen wonder took out his grappling hook and shot it at a nearby building.

"What are you, insane?!" Artemis yelled loudly enough to be heard over the roar over the engines. "I know you do a lot of stupid stuff, Robin, but this takes it!" She huffed out as she started to climb up the ladder.

"We can't let him get away!" Robin yelled as he looked up and noticed that Sportsmaster was looking down at the two teens from inside of his helicopter. The older villain looked conflicted as he glanced past the boy wonder and instead looked at the blonde girl. He shrugged as he had a machete and swung to cut the rope ladder. Robin growled as he lunged into the helicopter and tackled the man in the middle of his swing. The two fell to the ground of the helicopter as Robin grabbed a fistful of the man's shirt. "You won't be getting away," he growled out.

Sportsmaster looked the kid in his masked eyes and smiled, "Almost like Batman…" He accused, at seeing the visible anger on the boy wonder's face after seeing that, he knew he hit a sore spot, "Have you been practicing?" He asked as Robin raised his other arm and fisted it, readying a punch to be delivered to the man.

Artemis reached the top and noticed her father's henchmen creeping up on Robin and she narrowed her eyes. She carefully grabbed three arrows, one for each man, and readied it on her bow. She fired, knocking the three men into the helicopter walls. "Why didn't you take them out first!" Artemis lectured as she glared down at the young teen. "Did that fight with Klarion fry your brain?" She snapped as the helicopter started to lose altitude. She cursed under her breath as she quickly went to where the pilot was and found him to be gone from the pilot's seat. She didn't have time to question when the pilot had made his getaway, all she had to focus on was flying this helicopter.

"Go on…" Sportsmaster taunted, "Knock my lights out, kid!" He challenged as Robin growled and tightened his grip on the man's shirt.

"Don't. Tempt me," He said darkly as he knocked the man's head into the helicopter's floor. Sportsmaster groaned as his eyes slowly rolled into the back of his eyes. Robin then quickly stood up and went over to where Artemis was. "You need to pull up," he stated as Artemis shot a glare over to him.

The girl scowled, "What do you think I'm doing?!" She yelled as her knuckles were turning white from gripping the handle too tightly.

Robin glanced over to the window and knew they didn't have time to be arguing like this, "Let me do it," he ordered as Artemis rose an eyebrow at him, but stood up and moved out of the way. He quickly sat down and started touching different buttons, allowing the lock that was previously on the handle to come undone. The boy wonder quickly aimed it up, letting it slide into the tips of the surrounding trees before sliding gently onto the forest floor.

Artemis grabbed onto the seat in front of her to prevent her from getting hurt, "How do you know how to fly one of these?" She asked as the helicopter completely stopped.

"Experience," Robin slipped up and glanced at the teen girl out of the corner of his eyes. Artemis knew that this wasn't her Robin. Batman didn't let Robin fly a helicopter; he hadn't even let him fly the Batplane. She was already suspicious of Robin, but now she was certain.

"Who are you?" Artemis asked in a calm voice. Robin opened his mouth to respond, but Artemis pointed an accusing finger at him, "And don't say Robin," she hissed.

Robin stood up from the seat and started to walk away from the cockpit, "I'm the leader of Teen Titans; a super hero team composed of multiple teen heroes. I hail from a different universe, and it seems like the Robin you know, and I, have switched places," he stated in a calm tone.

Artemis' eyes went wide, "Doesn't…" She trailed as she fisted her hands, "Aren't you scared?" She asked. Robin glanced at her and rose an eyebrow, "You don't know anyone here…" She trailed, "Or do you?"

"I know Batman, along with the Justice League. Kid Flash is an honorary Titan back home, but I haven't actually met him," Robin stated as he sighed. He leaned on the door to the helicopter, "There is no 'Team' back in my universe."

"This explains so much," Artemis mumbled as she placed a hand to her head, "Are you with your mentor back in your universe?"

Robin shook his head, "No," he curtly replied, "He fired me," he stated as he glared off into the forest area that they had landed in.

Artemis shook her head and brought her hand down, "No way…" She mused in disbelief, "Why would he ever fire you?"

"To stop me from being a hero," Robin stated, "He wanted to make sure I could never fly again," he mumbled darkly.

"Robin, I don't-!" Artemis began to say, but was interrupted by M'gann's voice inside of their heads.

"Is everyone okay?" She telepathically asked as they both replied yes in their minds. "We're coming to you, don't move!"

Artemis glanced at Robin, who seemed to be brooding, "I don't think he was doing it to spite you, I think he cared about you too much to lose you," she argued as Robin's form didn't shift. She thought he had ignored what she said, since he didn't seem to be listening to her.

"He didn't care enough to come after me to Jump City, that's for sure," Robin mumbled as he noticed movement and tensed his posture.

"Rob!" Kid Flash yelled as he sped into the area, "I was so worried!" He yelled as he glanced over at the scowling Artemis, "Oh, you made it, too?" He taunted with a smirk.

Aqualad entered the area with his arms crossed, "You took down Sportsmaster?" He asked in surprise and anger, "Impressive," he mused as he walked over to where the passed out villain was. "I am contacting the league now," he stated as he almost touched the button on his belt, but stopped. He then glanced at Artemis and Robin, "This will be dealt with when we arrive back at the Cave. We are a Team, not a single act," he said in a dark tone and then went back to what he was doing.

Kid Flash looked at Robin and glared at the teen slightly, "You could have just told us, you know," he stated. Robin looked startled as he rose an eyebrow at the boy, "Your whole universe thing," he cleared up as he shrugged, "Once a Robin, always a Robin, right?"

Robin glanced over at Miss Martian accusingly, she placed her hands up defensively, "I honestly didn't tell them!"

"You were acting different," Super Boy said as he crossed his arms sternly.

"And you have never smiled genuinely once!" Kid Flash yelled, imputing his opinion, "Seriously!" He chided as he shook his head. "Can you even smile?"

Robin glanced at the group of teenagers in front of him and contorted his mouth into the smile that he showed to Kitten when he was coerced into going to prom with her. They all took a step back and put their hands up in front of them.

"I will never tell a single pun again in my life if I never have to witness that again!" Kid Flash said with a grin as he held out his hand.

Robin let out a sincere grin as he took it with a firm hold, "Deal," he said as the teens all started to lighten up the situation. Robin thought that maybe this was the reason why this universe's Robin was so cheery and free.

Aqualad stood up, "They are on their way," the Atlantean stated as he walked over to the Team. "For the time being, let us keep this a secret between us," he suggested.

"There's a good chance that Batman already knows," Robin stated as he crossed his arms.

"The fewer that know, the better," Aqualad said as he let out a small smile, "Your secret is safe with us, Robin," he said as he placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. "We will look into fixing your situation immediately," he assured.

"Thanks, Aqualad," Robin stated with a nod.

Kid Flash grinned, "But, but, but!" He stated quickly, "We should celebrate on a job well done!" He exclaimed in excitement, "Who's down for a documentary on chemistry!" He said as he looked around and was met with firm expressions.

Super Boy narrowed his eyes, "No," he stated.

"What? Come on!" Kid Flash whined as Artemis rolled her eyes. She glanced at the boy wonder and noticed how much older he seemed to be acting. She realized that she didn't know anything about this Robin, but she would like to. They were part of a Team together, after all.

To be continued...

A/N: FAQ

Here are a few things that have come up:

1.) "Batman knew that this wasn't the normal strategy that Robin would have used to attack someone with. No, this technique was sloppy and inexperienced, making him wonder what had happened to the boy even more."

Now, let me ask you something, viewers. If you were so used to a certain weapon, and instead you had something that you weren't familiar with, would you immediately know how it works? Would you have any kind of technique? I didn't think so. I'm not calling TT Robin completely useless and fails, but really? I'm sure he has probably worked with that variation of a weapon, but considering he uses a bo staff in the Teen Titans, and even when he was Nightwing, he probably doesn't like using them, and therefore wouldn't know a proper technique.

2.) "The conclusion was clear, he didn't know any of these people…Except for the name Kid Flash…He was an honorary Titan back home."

TT Robin knows who the name of Kid Flash is, but due to the events of the Brotherhood, he has not actually met Kid Flash. Considering he didn't even know who Speedy was until he was introduced in an episode, I doubt he also has the typical "Dick Grayson" backstory. So no, he didn't have the time to get to know Kid Flash, other than just knowing who he was. That's why he had his guard up when KF went into his room back in Ch.2.

3.) "When does this take place?"

Read the Summary...

4.) "Teen Titan Robin is too aggressive!"

Go back and watch the episodes, because I'm pretty sure that during them he's not that accepting of strangers. He does have a harsher fighting style. He's a leader and has a ton of responsibilities. Look at Aqualad, since when does he smile and get relaxed? If you are taken out of your element and placed into an unfamiliar place, I'm sure you would be all relaxed and comfortable with the situation.

5.) "Teen Titan Robin doesn't hate Batman!"

True, never said that, did I? He still looks up to Batman as a surrogate parent, and knows he can always go back. Considering that he was fired from being Robin, an alias and title that Dick had made for himself, I'm pretty sure he would feel some form of anger towards him. At the beginning of the show he even said something along the lines of, "I work alone." He obviously didn't want to get close to someone after his hurt feelings.

6.) "Wouldn't YJ Team know?"

Oh, they know. They all knew the moment he stepped inside the room, but the YJ Team are far better actors than the TT Team. They wanted him to tell them when he was ready. Along those lines, M'gann only told him to make him comfortable, so that he wouldn't be alone. She wouldn't just suddenly read his mind, after all M'gann wasn't the first one to see Robin. Wally was, and as soon as he returned to the group, he voiced his opinions and M'gann wanted to see if Robin was truly alright by checking his mental state.
