I am so so so sorry about how late this is. My laptop was broken, then I lost all inspiration and had the worst case of writers block ever, then my internet went out. Also sorry about it being short my my writers block has not totally gone away but i wanted to give you guys something. I promise the next chapter wont take any where near as long. Also can you believe this season!? MIND BLOWN ever episode and the Originals is definitely my new obsession. Don't be mad because I will always hope for Rebekah and Alex but I have fallen in love with Marcel and Rebekah as well. There will be another story for them up soon if you wanna check it out Any wayy I'll stop talking and let you get to the fun stuff. I'm not really sure how good this will be because my inspirational well has run dry so be warned. okay i'll shut up now.

After about six more hours of driving Klaus, trying his best to find a decent hotel in this dull dishwater town, finally pulled the car into a small Hilton. He sighed softly and looked at the beautiful vampire sleeping peacefully in the passenger's seat. She had not lasted long, falling asleep about two hours into the journey, but while she was awake he could see her gradually becoming more and more comfortable with his presence, and maybe even slightly beginning to enjoy their adventure. That thought brought a small smile to his lips. He didn't know why and he didn't know how but what he did know was that this beautiful baby vampire was doing what everyone else, even his family, thought was impossible. She was making him feel, making him care about something other than himself. He was kind to her in a way even he himself never thought he could be. Being around her brought out the good in him. The humanity. And that thought scared him more than anything. He shook his head again, angrily trying to clear these tormenting thoughts from his mind. Quietly he opened the door and checked them into a small suite. Not wanting to disturb the sleeping beauty he carefully picked her up and sped them up to their room. Uncharacteristically he laid her gently in the bed and covered her with the blanket, and decided to sleep on the couch, for much to his disdain she was still with that mutt Tyler and he did not want to have to listen to an angry Caroline for the rest of the way to Memphis. Before making his way to his sleeping place, however, he stopped for a second. She looked just like a sleeping angel, like a queen whom no one was worthy. And then in that moment he realized something. He realized that he would do anything to prove himself to her and to make her see that he could change and be everything she needed. All he needed was a chance.

Rebekah awoke feeling the warm rays of the summer sun on her face. For the first time in ages she had slept completely and utterly peaceful. Right now everything in her world was so perfect it felt like a dream. With her head on Alexander's bare chest and his muscular arms wrapped tightly around her waist, she looked up to his face only to find him already looking back at her. Good morning sweetheart. He said with a light smile. Rebekah giggled and buried her head back into his chest. As much as I love laying her with you my dear, I do believe you said something about giving me a more modern look. For some reason, I don't believe tunics are the style anymore. He said with a small laugh while lifting her body as he sat up on the bed. Or we could just stay in here for the next century? She replied with a suggestive smirk before kissing a trail up his chest and his neck. The hunter let out a small groan of pleasure. You've become quite the little vixen in the past 900 hundred years my dear. This time however I have to insist. We cannot stay here much longer. Your brother is no fool and you know that as well as I. You've told me he has taken interest in a girl in this town which means he will come back, and if we are still here when he returns my presence will not be hidden for long. Please my love, we have to leave. Rebekah stopped he temptations know every word he said was correct. She had not thought of what would happen to her and Alexander when Klaus found out. Her brother never let any threat against him go unchecked nor any acts against him go unpunished. He would never let Rebekah and Alexander be happy. You are right darling. Elijah has a few suits left in his room that he forgot to pack. I'll go get dressed and we will go shopping for some new clothes. Using her vampire speed Rebekah quickly kissed the hunter and went to her closet. After changing quickly Rebekah rushed back down the stairs to find Alex waiting by the door looking quite impeccable in Elijah's suit with a beautiful grin on his face. Darling how is t that you're the one with century's worth of supernatural speed and yet I can still get ready faster than you? He asked trying to hold back his laughter. Oh shut up, Alex. We can run if you'd like since you are so concerned with my slow speed. She replied with another laugh. Not a chance sweetheart, after 900 years of waiting for you I will never rush another moment we can spend together. We can walk. The young hunter said taking her hand in his and beginning their journey into town.
