Everyone had mixed feelings. Poseidon, Artemis and Hestia were proud that their daughter figured it out. Athena was shocked that a child of Poseidon was smart and Annabeth had the same thought. Percy still couldn't get over the fact that he had a sister while Thalia was glad that she had a female cousin who shared her opinion on boys. Nico wondered why she was so similar to him and couldn't stop thinking that he recognized her somewhere before now. Hazel was glad to have another cousin who was not full of themselves and Jason didn't know what to think about her but he felt as though they were somehow connected, but how?
The book continued the next chapter.
Solaris' POV
Solaris groaned. Zolaris and Haradian smiled. Selena had a tiny smile. Others were interested to hear from their new family member.
Solaris wondered what was wrong with his sister.
Selena raised an eyebrow at her brother.
She was acting very weird recently.
"Selena always acts weirdly. What's new?" said Zolaris.
Poseidon and Artemis glared at him. Selena just rolled her eyes.
"Perhaps it was the starting of her weirdness?" suggested Haradian, with a teasing smile.
Hades and Nico wondered why Haradian was so cheerful. He could have got that from his mother.
"She was acting weirder than usual!" said Solaris.
"I don't act weird." protested Selena.
"I'm not the one who has a habit of kidnapping teachers..." said Zolaris.
Selena pouted.
"Kidnapping teachers?" asked Athena, horrified.
"I don't kidnap teachers!" Selena protested "Only librarians!"
"Why do you kidnap librarians?" Annabeth was equally horrified.
"She wouldn't give me a book I wanted." said Selena in defense.
No one had anything to comment.
Ever since he accidently flooded the house,
Poseidon looked proud. So did Percy.
Selena had been walking around with a pen and notebook in hand,
The 3 boys snorted. "She always does that." Zolaris explained.
watching him as if he was a puzzle she had to figure out.
Many people looked amused and looking at Selena who was blushing, red as a tomato.
Honestly, even he didn't know how the water from the bathroom blew up when he was arguing with Selena.
"Your powers are linked with your emotions." Annabeth told him.
He even noticed that whenever they would argue, Selena's hair would burst on fire,
"Like Hestia!" Hades commented.
an earthquake would be incoming,
"Very few of my children inherit that power." said Poseidon, looking smug.
and the water near her would freeze.
"How?" asked Percy, slightly jealous.
"All of my children have different powers. My sons tend to be strong in water, I've never had mortal daughters but it appears that they are stronger in ice and earthquakes." Poseidon explained.
He knew that Selena would tell him how this all happened whenever she felt like it, but he didn't know when that time would come.
"Never." Solaris muttered.
3rd Person POV
Solaris sighed in relief.
"Come on Mooney!" Solaris pleaded.
"You recognized her parentage unconsciously?" questioned Thalia.
"No, Selena would just stare out of the window at night, so the name fitted." said Solaris.
"No" said Selena firmly, why her brother wanted to visit the park every two days she didn't understand.
The room was filled with snorting and chuckling people and a blushing Solaris.
"Please?" Solaris begged.
Selena looked at her brother. Dear Merlin, the hardest person in the world will melt by seeing his face! She just couldn't say no….
"The only thing that works on her." said Haradian, chuckling.
"Fine!" she said.
"Thanks!" Solaris pulled his sister in a tight hug.
"If you want me to take you to the park, it is necessary for me to be alive. And I need to breathe to be alive." she managed to say. Honestly, who hugs so tightly?
"Tyson's hugs are tighter." said Percy.
In the Park
When the twins entered the park, they saw some fat boys bullying a smaller one who was very pale.
Percy looked a bit angry, he didn't like bullying.
Solaris wanted to go help him but Selena firmly pushed him towards the swings, muttering about 'disgusting boys who have no sort of respect for others'.
Artemis smiled. So did Thalia. Poseidon was happy; this meant he wouldn't have to worry about boys troubling his little daughter.
After half an hour on the swings (Selena didn't understand what the fun of going backwards and forward repeatedly was)
"Spoilsport" muttered Solaris with Zolaris nodding in agreement.
they were heading back home. While going through an alley, they saw 5 men trying to kidnap a child who was about their age.
Many of the demigods looked angry.
"Shall we go help him?" asked Solaris.
"No." said Selena a bit hesitantly "Let's get out of here so they wouldn't notice us and try to kidnap us.
"WHAT?" screamed majority of the demigods, glaring at Selena.
"If any of those people would have tried to hurt Solaris then what would have I done? I was 5, those people were almost triple my age!" reasoned Selena.
The demigods calmed down.
"That's a Slytherin move." said Jason.
"Perhaps." said Selena, amused.
"Selena, that boy is our age!" reasoned Solaris.
"So?" asked Selena. She wanted to go help him, but if those 5 managed to catch them both then it would be worse. She didn't want to put Solaris in danger; he was her first priority, not the boy over there. Besides it is better to not get involved in a problem rather than trying to find a way out. Isn't it?
"See?" said Selena.
The demigods were not glaring now.
"Sellieee!" Solaris whined.
"Fine." she said.
They looked forward to see the boy running in their direction with the 5 men following him. The boy had windswept black hair and kaleidoscopic eyes. Selena felt as though she recognized him, but she couldn't point it out.
"Is that-"asked Haradian.
"Yes." said Selena.
They pulled the boy through a maze of alleys, finally losing the five men behind, but they could hear footsteps coming closer.
"Your watch." demanded Selena.
"What?" almost everyone asked.
"You'll see." said Selena.
"What?" asked Solaris. Why did she need his watch now of all times?
"Now." Selena demanded.
He removed his watch and gave it to her. She murmured a few words in a language he didn't recognize and the watch glowed faint gold in color.
"You didn't recognize the language?" asked Athena.
"I didn't." said Solaris.
"Meaning it wasn't Greek or Latin." said Athena, trying to work out what language it could be and used in magic…
The 3 of them barely managed to touch the watch as the watch vanished in a whirl, taking the three of them with it. The three of them landed in middle of a forest.
"Wow!" most of the demigods said; only if they could do that, they'll get out from so many situations….
"What was that?" wheezed Solaris.
"A way of transportation." said Selena.
"Was it a portkey?" asked the boy.
"How do you- "Solaris began but Selena cut him off.
"You look familiar." she said.
"So you do remember me!" said the boy.
"Who is he?" asked Artemis.
"Lin, who is he?" asked Solaris.
He didn't get any answer. Instead he saw Selena glaring at the boy. If looks could kill, the boy would have been buried by now.
"Good glare!" said Ares.
Artemis thought that the boy was another one of those who didn't respect girls…
The boy however, was smiling cheekily in response.
This proved her point…
"What were you doing in that alley? Weren't you adopted?" asked Selena.
Athena gasped, figuring out who he was.
"I think it is quite clear that I ran away Lina." the boy said.
"You both are familiar with each other." said Apollo.
"Don't call me Lina, after all these years you just pop back and try to sound that it's normal" she spat. Her eyes were burning with tears and her hair was on fire.
"Why are you so angry?" asked Percy.
"Anyone would be if your old friend just disappeared and then suddenly came back 3 years later" said Selena.
"You know I'm sorry!" he said.
"Sorry? That's all you can say? SORRY?" she screamed.
'Damn, she's angry' most of them thought.
By now Selena's whole body was covered in fire that was lashing out at anyone nearby.
Most of the gods were shocked by the sheer amount of powers she possessed.
Solaris was startled as the water in his bottle froze.
Cue on the shock.
"Sel, I can explain!" the boy tried to say.
"Not going to work." said Haradian.
Selena glared at him before running off into the forest.
"Why?" asked Hazel, puzzled.
"To calm down." Selena replied.
"What is your name?" asked Solaris. He was wary of the person who made his sister angry.
"Zolaris." the boy answered "Zolaris Malfoy."
Many people were shocked. They didn't know when the 4 of them became friends.
Artemis and Poseidon were glaring at Zolaris for making Selena angry.
"Since when do you 4 know each other?" Hera asked the question that was on everyone's mind.
Selena answered.
