As I am sitting there in the bed, The door suddenly opens. Oh shit this can't be good! In comes Washu, holding my clothes and walking inside. She closes the door.

"Uhhh...Little Washu?" I ask, making note of the akward situation. Washu says nothing but throws my clothes at me. She looks kind of agitated. I hope she didn't find out.

"You left these in the bathdome."

"Oh uh...right. Sorry about that."

"Just try and be more aware next time."

"Got it. Uh you haven't seen Ryoko by any chance, have you?"

"Last I saw she quickly gathered her breakfast and left the house. Probably to her favorite tree. She seemed upset. Why, did something happen?"

"Uh not that I know of."

"Oh. Well anyway you'll find her there." Washu said turning to leave. "Oh yeah, and I need to talk to you later on today."

"Oh alright." I say. Washu leaves the room and closes the door. I quickly get dressed into my clothes and as soon as I do I walk out and down to the living room. Everyone's going about their business, so I quietly walk outside. Favorite tree? This place has so many trees. Which one could be her favorite? Hmmm...I walk around the house and up to a stone path. I decide to see where it goes. It leads to a flight of stone stairs. I'm curious as to see where they go. It leads up a shrine. Hmm...I see the path forks somewhere else so I decide to keep going. After a bit of walking through the woods, I reach a large tree in the middle of a small lake, which has stones that lead through the lake and up to it. I walk across the stones and up to the tree. Could this be it? I look up around the branches and see Ryoko's blue spikey hair.

"Ryoko?"

"Huh? Ray?" asked Ryoko looking down at me. "What are you doing here?"

"Come down. I want to talk to you."

Ryoko fades from the tree and down standing in front of me.

"You shouldn't be here, Ray. It's not good for us to be hanging around each other."

"But I want to be."

"No Ray...everytime we get close it'll just spell trouble...what happened last night was just a small taste of what really could happen...it's best that for the remainder of your visit, we should stay away from each other." She said looking away with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry."

"But I don't want to..." I say truthfully.

"Ohhh...I don't want to either but...the only thing that would come out of us hanging out would be trouble...and I don't want to hinder your efforts of stopping Miku...I'm sorry..."

We kind of just stay silent for a few moments. Ryoko looks up at me with a sad look in her eyes. I know just continuing to plead with her would get me nowhere, so I decide to use a different approach.

"Ryoko...do you want to go out with me?"

Ryoko looks a little surprised.

"Wha...what?"

"Well do you? I mean that is what you meant the other day, isn't it?"

"W-Well...I uh...yeah but..."

"So then let's do it. Let's go out on a date."

"Uh...uh...but Ray uh..." Ryoko says blushing trying to find words to say. I just smile a bit. Finally Ryoko smiles a bit.

"Okay."

I smile then put my arm around her as we walk away from the tree and begin to make our way back to the house.

"So. What exactly do you plan us to do for our date?" asked Ryoko.

"Well, whatever you like." I say.

"Hmm...okay. I know a few places we could go to!" Ryoko said excitingly.

"Ha ha alright."

"Can we go tonight?"

"Sure thing."

Eventually we made our way back to the house. Again everyone was kind of doing their own thing, except for Washu, who walks up to us.

"Ray, I need to talk to you in my lab."

"Uhh sure thing Little Washu. Ryoko, can you excuse me for a moment?"

"Okay. I'll be out here." Says Ryoko. I follow Washu to her lab and we step inside until we are all the way to the computer monitors. Damn this place is spacious.

"So what's up?" I ask. Washu turns to me with a kind of upset look.

"I know what you did Ray." she says.

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb! I know you touched my daughter!"

"Uh...what?"

"Ryoko and I have a special connection. I can read her thoughts and feel her emotions. When she's drunk, that's when our link becomes even more effective."

"...Washu, I can explain."

"I don't want to hear it! I told you not to drink with her alone together! See what happened! She could be pregnant for all we know!"

"I'm sorry." I say hanging my head down. She'll probably fire me now. Heck, I might as well turn in my badge...oh wait I'm a private detective right. Hm? Suddenly I feel Washu tugging on my arm and she pulls me forward away from the monitors. I open my mouth to speak, but Washu puts her finger over it and we walk aways from the monitors and she opens a dark portal in front of us, and we step inside. She then closes the portal.

"Uh...Washu you should know killing an officer of the law is a serious crime."

"Oh shut up I'm not going to hurt you." she says. "I took you in here incase she hears us."

"Who?"

"Miku. I know she is the culprit."

"But...how.."

"The other night Miku and I went to the bath because she had something to tell me. I knew ever since that night you fought her with Ryoko...I knew Ryoko had been saying she saw Miku the night Tenchi was killed but I didn't believe she could actually do it...she's just a little girl."

"Well you see, I'm postive she's the sister of a toon murderer, named Walt. He is the son of Judge Doom, whom my father helped kill."

"Ah yes I heard about that. You know I kind of found it surprising that he is your father...you don't really look much like him. He was kind of short and big and you...are taller and slimmer."

"Ha, I get that a lot. But you see, I used to track Walt for the longest time, until with the help of some friends, we finally put an end to his reign of terror. But when I came home that night...I found my girlfriend...dismembered. Not sure who did it, not sure if Walt is actually still alive. So then we have his sister...who revealed to me that she only came here because she knew I was the perfect private detective for your case and you would turn down all the rest, so when I finally arrived she would kill me to get revenge. But you shouldn't worry. She's no match for me."

"Mmm that's where you're wrong, Ray..." Washu said looking concerned. "She's more powerful than you think. Just talking to her I could sense something disturbing. Please just be careful and don't provoke her."

"Then what do you think we should do? Only you, me, and Ryoko know the truth. If we warned the others, they would be devastated...especially Sasami."

"I know...even for Mihoshi it would be hard to convince...it's best to just deal with her if things get too hairy and then we would explain...but even then it wouldn't be easy for them..."

"So what should we do?"

"Well...if anything happens then you should take her out. I can't risk any harm to anyone else."

"I understand."

"Now. As for having sex with my daughter."

"I know...it won't happen again."

"Well, I think it is just adorable that you apologize like a gentleman and ask her out to dinner!" she said with sparkles in her eyes.

"Heh...well she really didn't give me a choice."

"Well you've got to promise me you'll treat her right."

"Don't worry. Ryoko's a lovely lady. I wouldn't do anything to harm her."

"Well I'm glad. Now let's go back before anyone suspects anything."

"Right."

Washu takes my hand and we step out of the portal and into the lab.

"I'm sorry I had to do that Ray but you must know not to do that to my daughter!" said Washu.

"Uh..."

Washu winked at me.

"Uh yeah...I'm sorry Ms Washu...I'll be on my way."

I leave the lab and return to the house. Ryoko is nowhere to be found. I walk out to the living room to see Sasami and Patty watching tv in the living room.

"Hey you two. Have you seen Ryoko?"

"Hee hee! Ryoko's in her room getting ready for your big date! You like her don't you Ray!" says Sasami with a smile. I smile too.

"What can I say? She's grown on me."

"Well I think it is just cute!"

"Yeah...oh uh Patty I need to talk to you outside."

"Sure thing Ray. Excuse me for a moment, Sasami."

"Okay."

Patty and I walk outside to the back area where the lake is.

"What's up?"

"Miku did it."

"What?"

"Miku killed Tenchi."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah...Washu says she knows this as well...here." I say uncliping my hip holster with a small back up dip pistol in it. "With Ryoko and I gone I still want you to be safe. I'm putting you in charge of protecting them...Miku is dangerous."

"I understand Ray. Don't worry. I'll make sure nothing happens."

"Good. And don't tell anyone that Miku is the murderer...they couldn't handle it." I say giving her some shells.

"Alright."

"Okay. Let's go back."

We walk back inside the house.

"Ah Patty. What's that new gun you got?"

"Oh. Ray gave it to me for uh...protecting everyone incase something bad happens."

"Ohhh...neat!"

The two go back to watching Tv. With little else to do, I decide it's about time to get ready for tonight. Knowing Ryoko, she'll probably want to leave as soon as she's ready. I walk on over to the bathroom on the first floor of the house and go inside. I guess the only clothes I have that would make me look presentable is if I only wore my shirt and slacks with my tie...and maybe the fedora with it...yeah that'll make me looks snazzy. I find a hair brush and begin to wet and brush my hair until it looks nice and combed. Heh. I shouldn't worry too much. Ryoko will probably like to see me as I am now. Anyway, I finish up and walk back into the living room. Mihoshi, Kiyone, and Mayuka have joined Patty and Sasami on the couch. They all take notice at me.

"Wow Ray! Looking sharp!" says Mihoshi.

"Thanks."

Ayeka and Washu walk into the room.

"Hmph. I still can't believe you're taking that monster woman out to dinner." said Ayeka.

"HEY! That's my daughter you're talking about!" shouts Washu to Ayeka.

"Oh...sorry."

"Anyway Ray, you look adorable!" Washu tells me. "Just wait til you see Ryoko, she looks stunning!"

"I can't wait." I say. We all sit down and watch tv for a few more hours until we hear...

"Hey guys."

We all turn and look. It's Ryoko, and I got to say, I'm pretty shocked. She's wearing this beautiful black dress, with a thin red line twisting its way all the way down to the slit, and she's also got a pair of black boots on. She has her blue main tied into a big pony tail, and is wearing very pretty make-up and lipstick. She looks and smiles at me.

"Hi Ray." Ryoko says walking up to me. "Don't I just look fabulous?"

"Uh yeah...you look gorgeous."

"Oh...thanks." she said a bit surprised and blushing. "You looks very handsome yourself."

"Thank you..." I say.

"AWW! You two just look SO adorable!" Washu gushed taking out a camera and snapping some photos.

"MOM!" Ryoko shouted, embarrassed.

"Oh calm down Ryoko. Now hold still." Washu said, continuing to take more photos. Ryoko rolls her eyes and then looks at me.

"So, are you ready to go?" she asks.

"Yeah sure."

"Okay! See all you later. I'm off for my date with Ray." Ryoko says clinging her arm around mine.

"Bye!" Everyone says waving. Ryoko and I are out the door. It's already sunset.

"Mmm...isn't it just beautiful, Ray?"

"It sure is. So, where would you like to go?"

"Well...there's this beef bowl place I really like."

"It's a plan." I say smiling. I could go for some beef. We walk down the path and to the bus stop.

"I wish I had rented a car so I could drive us."

"It's okay Ray. I'm just glad we're...doing this." she says taking hold of my hand.

"Oh uh...me too."

After a few minutes, the bus shows up. We get on, I pay the fare and we walk over and sit in the back seats. The bus soon makes its way back to the city, and Ryoko lets me know when we should get off. Once we do, she takes me by the hand and we begin to walk.

"You'll love this place, Ray! It's one of the trendiest places in the city!" says Ryoko. Eventually we reach the restraunt, and it's nearly packed. We find a couple of seats at the bar.

"Ah Ryoko." Says the waiter. "It's good to see our number one customer. The usual?"

"Yes sir. The same of the guy next to me."

"Right away."

"You come here a lot?" I ask Ryoko.

"Yep! It's my favorite place to eat!"

"I can see it's many people's favorite place as well..." I say looking around. There seems to be a lot of toon school girls in here.

"Yep! These places are very trendy nowadays." says Ryoko. I look at her and she looks at me and smiles.

"I'm so happy you asked me out, Ray."

"Well I wasn't sure if I should of...I mean, I like you and you're a really fun person to be around, but we only just met a few days ago and I wasn't sure if it would make you feel akward."

"Oh Ray, you shouldn't worry about that. I like you a lot too." Ryoko said grinning. The waiter comes back with bowls of beef on top of rice. It looks pretty fucking good.

"Thanks." I say to the waiter. Ryoko immidiently begins to down her food sloppily and quickly, getting it all over her face. It's kind of cute in a way...of course if she wasn't a toon it would be looked down upon but toons can behave however they want and no one will say anything about it. As I am eating my one amazing bowl Ryoko has eventually put down six.

"My man! One more beef bowl!"

"Wow...that's pretty impressive Ryoko."

"Thanks. I'm a pretty hungry girl." she said already half way through her seventh. Heck, I can only finish one of these things. Eventually she finishes and burps.

"Ahhh! That really hit the spot!"

"Yeah. You were right Ryoko that was pretty tasty." I say as I pay for the meal. "So, where to next?"

"Hmmmm let's go to the arcade!"

"Fine by me!"

Ryoko and I leave for the arcade. She takes me by the hand and leads me to the one big building down the street, which houses a large arcade. She takes me to one of the games.

"This is my favorite game! I have the top score." Ryoko said looking proud.

"Really? How do you play?"

"When you put the money in, that red peg will come up, and you hit it as hard as you can! But I'm sure you couldn't get close to my score."

"Huh. That sounds like a challenge." I say putting some money in. The red peg tilted up, and on the screen told me to hit it. I grin, knowing I hit pretty fucking hard. I clench my fist, pull back, and give the peg a swift strike. It slams down with so much force that it tilts the machine back, and as it wobbles back in place the game is calculating my score. Ryoko looks a bit surprised and anxious. The machine then says 999999.

"WHAT!? Impossible!" Ryoko shouts loudly. I laugh. Ryoko calms down and smiles.

"Damn...that was pretty fucking impressive..." Ryoko said shaking her head. "You've got some strength."

"Maybe it was just beginners luck."

"Fuck that shit. You hit pretty fucking hard. Let's try another one."

"Okay." I said as Ryoko led me to another game. This one a robotic arm in a static position. It looks like an arm wrestling game.

"Last game was too easy. This one I'm sure you can't beat my score."

"We'll see about that." I say putting money in. On the screen I see the face of the robot, and a countdown timer from three. When it gets down to one, and I know this is a dirty trick, but I use both arms to push the arm down with all my might. Hell, I push so hard the arm snaps into down position. Ryoko is dumbfounded. I just laugh.

"Oh come on, you mean to tell me you didn't think of that?"

"Well...no..." Ryoko said, embarrassed.

"Really? Huh." I say as the machine shows my score. 999999.

"Hmph. Well..."

"Oh come now. Let's go to the photo booth." I say taking her by the hand.

"Alright..."

We go inside an empty photo booth in the arcade. I put the money in and I see the count down. I put my arm around Ryoko to get ready for the first picture. We both smile. For the next picture, we both make silly face. For the third picture I was going to make another silly face, but Ryoko kisses me on the cheek which I didn't see coming, so I didn't know what face I made. For the fourth picture, Ryoko puts her arm around me, smiles, and makes the peace sign. I smile again. We then walk out of the booth and waited for our pictures. Soon it fell down into the slot.

"Oh ha ha ha ha!" Ryoko laughs looking at them. I smile at them.

"So, what are you in the mood for next?" I ask Ryoko.

"Hmm...I'm not sure..." says Ryoko.

"Well I don't know about you, but I could go for a tall, frosty milkshake."

"Uh me too!" Ryoko said, her face lighting up. I smile and take her by the hand, and we walk out the arcade. Ryoko points to a nearby milkshake stand. Damn Japan has everything! We walk up to it and look as all the different flavors.

"I like vanilla. What do you like?" I ask Ryoko.

"I'd like a chocolate."

I order a vanilla and a chocolate shakes, and before you can say Blueberry pie, we have them.

"Come on Ray, there's a place I want to take you." Says Ryoko.

"Alrighty."

Ryoko leads my down a few blocks, and off the path into a park. By now we both finished and tossed our milkshakes. We eventually reach a huge, tall fountain.

"I always love coming here...it's just such a nice place to relax."

"Yeah. I never really been to Japan. I've always liked anime toons better."

"But american toons are so cute!" says Ryoko.

"Ha...yeah they may be cute, but they're annoying as all hell."

"Yeah...by the way...who is Miku again?"

"Mm...she is the sister of Walt Doom, who is the son of a guy named Judge Doom. Now in America, there is a place called Toon Town, where all the toons are from, as well as anime toons. Judge Doom was the tyranical judge, punishing toons my killing them with dip. You see my father, Eddie Valiant, killed him with the help of Roger Rabbit, a famous toon. Apparantly, the son of a bitch had his kids with him, Walt and Miku. Ever since then he swore revenge. No one knew what happened to Miku...apparantly unitl now...I think I killed Walt, I'm pretty sure. Miku probably wants to kill me out of revenge."

"What happened to Roger?"

"Roger went into hiding and no one has ever seen him again. Walt has been searching everywhere, and thought that anime toon town was the last place anyone would look. So far he has not been found...by anyone for that matter."

"Hm...so Miku is pretty dangerous after a-...wait a minute, where is she?"

"...I didn't see her at the house. She may have gone back to wherever you say she goes."

"I hope so..."

"Ahh don't worry. Together we can stop her...but let's not think about that...let's enjoy our time here." I say taking her by the hand.

"Oh Ray..." Ryoko said blushing and smiling. "Tonight was such a fun, crazy night. Thanks for taking me out."

"It was my pleasure Ryoko. I'd love to take you out again anytime." I say with a smile. Ryoko smiles and pulls me into a hug. I hug her back, and we stay in an embrace for a few moments until she pulls back a bit and smiles at me. I smile back at her. She makes a small giggle.

"Ray...I...um...you..."

"Hm?"

"I'm sorry I'm trying to think of something to say?"

"Yeah, don't you just hate uncomfortable silences?"

"Hm, they say when you have share an uncomfortable silence with a person, that means you found someone very, very special."

"You don't say?"

"Yep..."

"Uh huh..."

"..."

"..."

"Is that what you call an uncomfortable silence?" I ask her.

"Ha ha...yeah..."

Ryoko and I enter a third uncomfortable silence...and...I find myself moving beginning to close the space between us...and Ryoko does the same. We move closer...until are lips are touching, and then we engage in a warm kiss. We continue as I pull her closer in. She moans, and we make the kiss even deeper. We just continue to make out, and it's nice, just spending this nice moment with this nice woman. Perfect you could say. After a bit we pull back, and Ryoko smiles lovingly at me while blushing.

"Ray...I...I..."

"Yes?"

"I think I'm...aahhhhh!" She sighs melting into my arms, her face completely red. I think I have a pretty good feeling on what she was going to say.

"What were you going to say, Ryoko?" I ask smiling. She snaps out of it and looks at me.

"Uh...uh...h-how about we save that for another time, huh?"

"You getting tired?"

"Uhh yes yes! Exactly! I'm tired Ray! Let's go back."

"Well alright. I guess I'm a little tired too. We better get going if we want to catch the last bus."

"Right."

Ryoko and I walk hand in hand back out of the park and back onto the street. We continue to walk, looking around at the big city. I then start to think. After I finish this job...can I really go back and act like none of this happened? I like being here...with Ryoko...but then again I can't abandon Blair. She's still my friend...ah, she'll understand. Anyway, we eventually reach the bus stop.

"Ryoko."

"Yes Ray?"

"What were you going to say back at the park?"

"Oh uh...well..." Ryoko said blushing and looking away.

"Yes?"

"How about I tell you later...in the bathdome?"

"Sure."

About after a few minutes later, the bus arrives. We get on, I pay the fare, and we sit in the back.

"I hope Miku hasn't done anything to anyone." Says Ryoko.

"Well, if she has then we'll take her out."

"I don't know Ray...I know you were able to subdue her, but Washu tells me that she has a lot of power..."

"I know her brother definitely does. It took us several people to take him down. But Miku is a little girl. Sure she's got those...fire saws, but if I can easily take her solo, together we can easily take her to the cleaners."

"You're probably right...I don't know why I'm so worried." Ryoko says looking away, concerned. I put my hand on hers. She looks at me smiling, and intertwines her fingers into mine. She then leans on me, and I kind of lean back, and we stay like this, until eventually we reach our stop. We both get up and depart the bus. Ryoko and I then continue to walk hand in hand down the path.

"I don't see any smoke...so far so good." said Ryoko.

"Yep. I'm sure everything's fine."

Once we reach the house, we see Ayeka in tears run up to us.

"There you two are!"

"Ayeka, what's wrong?" I ask.

"It's Sasami! She's gone missing! Everyone's out looking for her. Ohhh I hope she's okay..."

"Don't worry, we'll find her. When did you last see her?"

"It was about an hour ago, she and Miku went to play outside, and they never returned!" Ayeka says crying into my arms.

"Mark my words Ayeka, if that bitch lays a finger on Sasami, she's dead."

"What?" Ayeka asked letting go of me. "What in the world makes you think Miku would do something to harm Sasami?"

"Either way, do you really think Sasami would just wander off on her own and not return?"

"You've got a point there...even Sasami knows never to venture too far off into the forest..." said Ayeka. "But still, there's no way Miku would do such a thing."

"Only one way to find out." I say taking out my pistols.

"I think I know where they might be." says Ryoko. "Follow me!"

Ryoko runs and Ayeka and I follow her. She leads us up those steps and all they way to her favorite tree but...what the fuck? The sight I see before me is one I can't comprehend. It's Miku, standing by the tree with Sasami, but next to them...is Walt!?

"Well well. Long time no see, Detective."
