" and so I was found after all these years in the sheds." Duke told the engines his story again, because Luke never heard the story.

"That's quite interesting. But what happened to that reckless engine you mentioned." The Irish engine asked.

"Well. He was turned into a generator for his behavior." Duke answered coldly.

"What? Why. I understand it why Alfred was turned into one. He tried to kill Thomas twice. But Smudger wasn't that bad." Luke asked.

"He deserved it. He was reckless, rude and simply refused to learn from his mistakes." The elderly tender engine scoffed angrily.

"That's not a reason! Duncan is also a reckless idiot sometimes but he's still here. And I bumped victor into the ocean and didn't had to face a punishment for that." The green engine shouted now angrily.

"Hey, keep me out of your argument." Duncan growled.

Everyone ignored him and went silent. Until Skarloey spoke up." I don't think that Smudger is still there." He said.

"Wait? What?" Duke asked confused.

"What do you mean with that Skarloey." Sir Handel said.

"Well...me and Rheneas once saw that Edward caried a engine, that was rusty, old and looked kinda like my fellow brother, to the A-18 Building." The red number one explained.

"What is the A-18." Luke asked confused.

"A facility south of Crovans gate. It's not known what they actually do there. Be I heard that it is similar to the Steamworks. Engines on the edge of dying are send there and come back totally fixed. It's just a rumor but it sends shivers down my firebox. Engines who're send there and come back are kinda like zombies." Bertram said and shuddered.

(Somewhere else in a bunker Underground)

Victor and two other engines drove through a tunnel that was under Crovans Gate. The other two were the blue yellow Works Diesel Geoff and the dark green narrow gauge engine Jim." How's his condition." The Steamworks Owner asked.

"Well. He's doing better. We gave him a new cab and his new funnel came yesterday." Geoff explained.

"What's still missing."

"He needs new wheels and a new paintjob." Jim said.

"After eighteen years. He's going to be finished. The worst case we've ever had. And we had to fix Hiro, Glynn and Duke, who stuck twenty years or longer on a siding or a shed." The red engine said and stopped in front of a Metal Gate. It opened and only him drove through it.

"Hey Vic. It's been a while." Someone said who hung from the ceiling. It looks like a engine.

"How do you feel my friend?" Victor asked.

"Quite better. And I have to thank you again for helping me." The engine said.

"No problem. It's what we do here on Sodor. If you are damaged we'll find a way to fix you." The Cuban engine said and reversed through the gate and let the engine rest again.

"I'll meet you soon Dukie. I'll meet you soon."
