Chapter 3: Castle in the snow

They arrived at the Manor's gates and drove in and stopped in front of the door just to find Zip coming out. Lara claims out and walks up to him.
"What did you find?" Lara asks as Kurtis stands behind her.
"Well the police were right Mr. Narbut is hiding something." Zip says walking inside with the two warriors walking behind him. "What I found by some digging he used to work in Germany at a time of the war." Zip opens a file on the computer showing a castle with snow everywhere and there stood two people. Mr. Narbut and Eckhardt.
"Wait your saying that the two worked together." Lara asked studying the photo.
"Yes I'm afraid so." Zip answered
"But who killed his family if he is apart of this." Kurtis asked.
"That my friend I thought you'd ask. Now I found out why he left Eckhardt and the Cabal. He met his wife there in a lab and for some strange reason they betrayed Eckhardt and left and lived here in London to start a family and forget the dark past they had."
"But why kill them now after all these years" Lara asked folding her arms.
"After Eckhardt was killed someone rebuild the Cabal and found out where Kurtis is but in the same time found Mr. Narbut. I found this photo of a week ago. Mr. Narbut meeting with someone the picture is not clear on who he met but this same guy is seen leaving the building the day his family is killed." Zip answered.
"Is this Castle not the Castle Kriegler?" Lara asked looking closer to the picture
"Yes in fact it is. This photo was taken after World war 2 after Eckhardt's escape." Kurtis answered think of the stories he had heard when he was only a boy.
"Zip book a flight to Germany and Winston please give Kurtis a room for the coming nights." Lara said and walked off letting everyone just look at her go.
