A/N: POSSIBLE TRIGGER WARNING.
Once everyone got wrapped up in conversation and playing with Olivia, Travis pulled Vic aside. She followed him into the turnout room and shut the door.
"T, I can't tell you yet. I know you want to know what's up and I will tell you when I can, before anyone else." Vic sighed and looked at the ground knowing that if she met his gaze, she'd spill the beans.
"Fine. Can you at least tell me, are you okay? And don't just say you're fine Vic, I know you." She smiled.
"I am. It's not going to resolve itself anytime soon, but right this minute, I am fine." He sighed at least she was acknowledging it.
"Okay. Come on, I want to play with Liv." He smiled and dragged her back out and she smiled. Yeah, of course uncle Travis would be the first to be wrapped around her precious finger. She didn't quite know why she'd deduced this would be a bad idea. Of course her family would love Olivia and of course they'd be supportive. What was she thinking?
"Stop kicking yourself for not telling us. You had every right and you did what you thought was best for your daughter, Vic. Not one of us will hold this against you. It was the right choice." Travis whispered as they walked back into the beanery. She nodded. After a minute she made her way over to Luke and put a hand on his shoulder blade. He looked to her and smiled.
'You alright?' He mouthed. She nodded.
'For now.' She replied.
Hours later after they'd eaten dinner, and answered a few more calls, Luke carried a sleeping Olivia to his truck and held the hand of a very stressed Victoria. Sullivan noticed that since her panic attack she was still on edge and decided that she should take the rest of the shift off. She was grateful for it too. She would never say it aloud, but she was emotionally drained for the time being. So as she climbed into the truck, she allowed herself to doze off to sleep. Luke sighed; she needed the rest, but he was sure it would end in a nightmare. He secured Olivia in her car seat, got in the car, and drove his place. He placed Liv and her things in the guest room that she'd taken over and changed her into a spare set of pajamas before tucking her in with the teddy-bear she'd left the last time she was there.
He went to go get Victoria from the car, along with her things but found her bag sitting by the front door and found her passed out on the couch. He went out to lock the truck, locked the front door and scooped her into his arms and carried her up to their bedroom.
"Luke."
"Sleep love, I'm right here and Olivia is sound asleep in her room across the hall." She nodded and curled into him. He stripped her to her panties and slipped one of his old t-shirts over her head before tucking her in and stripping to his boxers before he slid in next to her and pulled her close.
Two hours later she woke in exactly the way Lucas predicted. He wrapped her in his arms tightly. He rubbed her back and she buried her face in his chest taking in his scent. This helped her to relax and she eventually stopped shaking. They were both still wide awake though, and she was not okay.
"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked.
"Not yet." She whispered. He kissed her head.
"Want me to bring Liv in here?"
"Please." She whimpered. He went to bring Olivia in with them for the night. He laid her in between them and threw an arm around them.
"Is this better, lovely?" She nodded.
"Thank you." He smiled.
"Always." She closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep. She managed to get about four or five decent hours of sleep before she woke from another dream. This one much more brutal. When she sat up in a sweat, she slipped out of bed and went down to the kitchen and climbed on a chair to reach the liquor. She swiped the bottle of Vodka and grabbed a tumbler before filling it halfway and shoving the bottle back in the cabinet and shutting it.
"Oh fuck. I can't drink this." She dumped it back in the bottle and grabbed a water from the fridge and pretended it was vodka as she curled into a ball on the couch.
"Victoria?" Lucas asked as he sat next to her.
"It was bad Luke. It was still him on top of me but when I hit him with the stupid pan it was you and not him and you were only trying help and oh god." She sobbed into his chest and he soothed her to the best of his ability. Soon she cried herself back into a fitful slumber.
"I'm right here. It was just a dream love. I'm here, we're safe." He whispered as she clung to him.
"I am going to call my therapist. I need to see her. Will you go with me? I need you." She replied and he kissed her head.
"I'd go to hell and back for you Victoria." She smiled and went to check on Liv before starting on breakfast. She was frying bacon, making toast in the toaster oven, and scrambling eggs when Liv bounded down the stairs, hair everywhere.
"Hey sweetheart."
"Hey mama." She smiled and climbed onto a stool at the island and Vic put a plate in front of her.
"Here you go." Liv smiled and ate quietly. Vic and Luke joined her as soon as he came back downstairs after his shower. When they were finished Vic stepped out to the backyard and called her doctor.
"Victoria? It's been a while since I heard from you, is everything alright?" Dr. Adams asked.
"Actually no. I had a rough night, I know why but I think seeing you and talking through everything might help."
"Okay. I have an opening in about an hour. Can you come in then?"
"Yes, that's perfect. Thank you so much." She hung up and called Travis.
"Hey T."
"Hey. What's wrong?"
"Luke and I are going to see Dr. Adams in an hour. Can you meet me at my apartment and stay with Liv for a while?"
"Of course. Be there in twenty. If you aren't there, I'll just use my key."
"Okay. Thank you." She hung and went to get ready. She explained it all to Lucas as she got dressed. He nodded and went to help Liv gather her things and into the car. He waited in the car as Vic brought Liv upstairs. She'd spotted Travis' car, so she knew he was there. She opened the door and reminded Olivia to behave and told Travis to call if they needed anything. She kissed her daughter, hugged her best friend and went back to the car. Luke followed her directions to the doctor's office and when she walked in, she signed in and sat down for a few minutes with Luke before the doctor called her name. She stood smiling and Luke took her hand and squeezed it.
