And it took how long to update?
lol I'm a horrible author
A/N: I want to point out something important: If you do not want to read the review responses and A/N's, then skip them. I cannot stress this enough. I have been getting complaints about these being long and pointless. Just scroll, skip, and read the story. THERE IS A REASON WHY I BOLDED THESE SECTIONS. So please, if you don't like it, then ignore it. Don't spam me and pester me about it, because I will ignore it. These are for people who have questions, praises, and who just want to have a conversation! So, enjoy the whole thing in general. Thank you.
REVIEWS:
Midnight: Yo, remember that time when I was cosplaying as Ymir from snk and some guys wanted to-
oh right
you didn't go to comiccon.
*snickers*
Lol Momo, okay okay. But about Magically Sweet, people did not forget your beautiful story. Seriously. If they could remember my crappy excuse of a fanfic, they could remember your masterpiece. Who cares if you wrote it when you were young like me? It was amazing, and you should continue it :D
I'll be with you no matter what choice you make.
Okay Historia?
I mean Momo.
Lol I love how you still didn't go to comiccon.
The Dimenssionalist: Bloody Hell, they have those now?
God Dammit Kingsisle.
Anyways, I searched it up, because when I read your review and was like "What the freak is that?" And boom, research! I've decided not to add it in, because I've already set on how the story and battles would be like. Though the idea is really good, and I thank you for mentioning this to me, I'm pretty much set. Though maybe, JUST MAYBE, I might use it along the lines. And for Shadow Magic on Malorn, I can't see it working. He is the dorky death professor after all. Also, I would like to remind you that everything is in the AU of the level cap being 50, meaning Grandmasters rule place. This is how it was when W101 was first created and I actually like it this way, since now (to me) its way more complicated. This also includes the fact that the last world our wonderful lame heroic excuse of failures will travel to is Dragonsypre (Spelled it right? No? Aw screw that). Yes, cry now people. BUT I will include Grizzleheim, and maybe even Wysteria (look at me spell these world names wrong! Aren't you proud?). Also, new spells WOULD NOT HAPPEN! Yeah, you'd learn as the story goes.
Sorry if I disappointed you. (please don't leave. I love you. Don't go. I need you)

okay, yeah. Aside from that, yeah Malorn. Don't worry, he's gonna be back to the nerdy dork we all love.
*whispers* let's hate school together.
Lunarphase: Awww, I promise everything will get better, I swear. Just give it time, please? Thanks :D
No more? Oh, okay.
(I really wanted the call this chapter "A deadly reunion" But whateves)
Disclaimer: I cosplay, I draw, I write, I sing, I do all these things. But I don't own wizard101.
"My name is Malorn AshThorn, and I am the Death school's current professor." He said. The was a long silence. Isaiah stared blankily at him and then realized what he said.
'The Death school?!'
"W-What?!" Angela also looked equally confused. "Wh-wha- No! Impossible! The Death school was banned!" She argued. The boy glared at Malorn viciously. Malorn stood up from his bow and ignored Angela, looking directly towards the boy.
"Now Luke, we must go. We need to finish class!" Malorn said reaching out. The boy, Luke spat at him.
"Something's wrong with you Malorn, you need help." He hissed. Angela looked at Luke, and back at Malorn. A few seconds passed when she realized something, and gasped.
"Luke? Luke DarkFlame?" Angela asked, her voice went down into a whisper. She released her grip on the teen, and stood up, backing away. "I-Impossible! N-No. Y-You're s-suppose to be d-dead!" She said. She bumped into the other end of the arena lobby and fell to her knees, murmuring to herself horridly. Isaiah exchanged confused looks with Ethan, before running towards the girl.
"Angela," Isaiah started, kneeling near her, trying to get her attention. "Angela, are you okay?" She continue to murmur to herself. Luke stared at the girl, giving her a concerned face.
"What's this?" Malorn asked. The three boys quickly turned to Malorn, who burst out laughing.
"Looks like you've done something wrong, Luke. I'm going to have to punish you for it. Come now." Malorn said, taking a step closer.
"Anulus ignis!" A shout was called. Immediately, a circle of fire surrounded Malorn, and blocked him away from Luke. Ethan quickly glanced over to Luke. "Run! This is your chance! I'll hold him off, just get out of here!" He said. Luke stared at the pyromancer in awe for a minute, and glanced over to Angela. The two locked eyes, and Luke got up, attempting to run.
"You think I'd lose that easily?" Malorn chuckled. He raised his arm, and the ring of fire disappeared. "You are against a professor, after all". Ethan looked thrown back, but recollected himself.
"Meteor Strike!" Ethan called, raising his blade to the ceiling. Three dark holes appeared on the roof, and out came meteors tumbling straight to Malorn. The young professor raised his staff again and completely blocked the spell. He pointed his staff towards the door, and out came three skeleton pirates, blocking Luke from getting away.
"If you wanted to leave, you could have just asked nicely." Malorn said, calmly approaching Luke. Luke glared viciously at him and pulled out his own staff.
"Don't ignore me!" Ethan yelled at him. "Helephante!" Ethan raised his blade. Before his mana collected enough power, Malorn glared at Ethan and pointed his staff at his, causing Ethan to fly back, and crash into the already damaged wall. Isaiah gasped and ran up to Ethan. Angela looked up, still horrified and glanced over to Malorn. She slowly got up and glared at him.
"I... I don't know whats going on, nor do I believe it. But..." She took out her staff and pointed it at Malorn. "No one hurts my friends." Malorn chuckled.
"Is that a challenge?" He asked, also copying her actions. Angela nodded, trying to act fierce. Malorn chuckled slightly. "Very well" He said. He pointed his staff in the air, and a dark misty barrier appeared, and Angela looked around surprised.
"W-What is this?!" She demanded. Malorn grinned.
"I guess you're not familiar with the Shadow Games..." Malorn said. The mist grew stronger, and some poured into his forehead, burning a mark.
"S-Shadow Games?!" Angela asked, surprised "T-That's just a legend!" She started to back away from the barrier, but it blocked her, keeping her inside. "Release me!" She shrieked, banging on the force field.
"You asked for a duel, and here it is!" Malorn laughed, pointing his staff at Angela. Dark chains came from the ground and locked her legs,so she would be unable to turned around, locking eyes with Isaiah, giving him a desperate look. Isaiah never been on a battle, nor does he have cards. Only a few beginner cards Headmaster gave him and a few treasure cards.
But hell, she wanted to help him before, so he's going to save her. He quickly got up, and ran towards the force reached forward, and his arm managed to get in, now for the rest of his body. As he got in, he felt body split in half. He was first blinded with light and darkness contracting with each was too strong for him, he thought he would die from loosing his breath. Suddenly, he bumped into something soft. When he opened his eyes, he found Angela looking at him.
"I-Isaiah.. y-you-"
"How sweet!" Malorn clapped from the other side. "You attempted to rescue her, only to be sucked into trouble yourself!" The boy burst into laughter while holding his stomach. Isaiah glared, ad ran over to tackle him down, but realized that he could move. Looking down, he realized he was also chained. "Now how about we get this game started!" He said, but as he raised his staff to form a ancient symbol, his arm was grabbed. Malorn blinked and turned around, only to see Luke gripping him. "What are you doing?!"
"I wont allow it!" Luke spat at him. He took his blade and aimed it towards Malorn. Malorn smirked.
"Oh, do you really think you could defeat me like that?" He asked. Luke raised an eyebrow. Before he could do anything, Malorn summoned and shadow wave, causing Luke to fly across the battlefield. Luke slammed into the forced field, and his feet made contact with the floor, he was chained as well. Luke got up, weakly and glared viciously at Malorn. "I assume we could start now?" Malorn said, with a confident smirk. "Very well then, let the games begin!"
Malorn stared out the window in utter boredom as his students socialized during free period. Running a class on his own, while he was a student himself wasn't easy, to say the least. It would have been nice, if any fellow classmate would see him as one of them, instead of their professor, just like they did before the incident with Malistaire. A simple hello would be fine, at the least.
"Ah, Mr. AshThorn?" He heard a young feminine voice. Turning around, he saw a blonde girl who looked around his age, or younger. He warmly smiled.
"Yes?" He asked. The blonde looked down to the ground nervously.
"Ah, um... Well..." She stuttered. Malorn blinked, as he saw a light pink blush appear on her face. Is she...? "I was wondering..." She is! "If you could help me with this..." She said, pointing at a question. Malorn sighed. So much for school romances. He should really stop reading those. Malorn stared at her question and smiled.
"Ah, this is about the history of death" He said. The blonde nodded.
"I feel ashamed of not knowing!" She said, bowing her head. Malorn lightly chuckled.
"No need, I've barely went over it."Malorn said, looking back at the question. "This is about the story of the beginning of the Death School, which started with a thief." He said, answering the question. The blonde girl's eyes brighten, as she wrote it down and bowed, thanking him. She ran off to her friends as Malorn waved good bye.
"What's this about a thief?" Malorn turned to see his only close friend wearing a arrogant smirk. Malorn sighed dramatically.
"Just some thing..." Malorn said. Luke shook his head otherwise.
"It looked like you were flirting with Melissa" Luke teased. Malorn blinked, glancing over at the blonde girl.
"I'm not a flirt like you." Malorn rolled his eyes, and stood up from his desk. Heading for the door, Luke soon followed behind.
"Where are you going?" He asked.
"Just getting fresh air." Malorn simply answered. He stopped in front of the door, and turned to face Luke. "Shouldn't you be studying?"
"Shouldn't you be socializing?" Luke crossed his arms, in defense. Malorn narrowed his eyes and also crossed his arms.
"I don't need friends." Malorn lied through his teeth, trying to act strong. Luke shrugged and flicked a piece of his hair that blocked his left eye.
"This is why you only have me." He said. Luke ruffled his professor's messy black hair and waved off, chuckling. Malorn glared at Luke once more, before turning around again and opening the large doors. Malorn was welcomed with a cool breeze, and the wind blew his hair back, away from his eyes. He walked out, staring at the ground and avoiding rocks. The death school was abandoned after Malistaire's attack on Wizard City, and locked away in a secret cursed area, otherwise known as Nightshade. Ambrose made sure to lock the place away from students, but Malorn found a way of getting inside, and taught some students who really had the talent for death. Who made Malorn the teacher? It was the only way. Malorn was the most talented in the death school when he was a student. But since he was so young, he felt it was unfair. Malorn and the other death students were able to keep this place a secret since each student attended their "main" class, which in reality was their secondary. Once again, the death students were extremely talented and deceiving. Malorn sighed and looked around. The place looked the same: old, dangerous, and creepy, to say at the least. Malorn sat on a near by bench to rethink everything. Ambrose is going to check this area sooner or later, and he would have to think of a plan for that. Maybe they could make a disguise, but Ambrose is a master of magic, he would see through the whole thing. The Ambrose problem was going on for weeks now, he would have to discuss it with the class later on.
Not only that...
Malorn has been noticing things that were scaring him. The graveyard next to the school had been acting up recently, and his students reported seeing unusual smoke lurking around. To add on to it, the Death tree had been unresponsive. Whenever a student went to talk to it, he would murmur things to himself and not answer for a few minutes. Malorn knew something was going on, but he didn't want to go to any professors for help, because it would reveal the death school secret and at the same time, he didn't want to scare the students. He figured he would solve this issue himself. It wasn't that bad, right?
'The worlds pulled in a ring of darkness'
'What?' Malorn turned to the source of the voice. He stood up and faced the graveyard. Was a ghoul outside again?
'The Dove, Hunter, Warrior, Magi...'
Malorn walked towards the area, certain the voice was coming from there. Was it the Death Tree? There he found nothing, but the usual graves and black smoke. Kneeling next to the black mist, he ran his left hand through it. It felt like cold wind. The black color got darker, and Malorn felt a sudden cold stinging pain. He rapidly pulled his hand back and observed it for any burns or marks. He saw nothing but his usual skin. He looked up and felt his heart skip a beat. The black mist formed a face, which stared right back at him.
"Obey me..." It said. Malorn stared in utter shock. He couldn't say anything. He only stuttered incoherent words, and tried to find a logical reason for this. "Obey me..." It repeated, floating closer to Malorn. The young professor backed away, trying to stand up to run, but his feet failed him."Kill... Kill them all..." It said.
"K-Kill? W-what a-" Malorn wasn't able to finish his sentence, for the mist surrounded his face, blocking his sight.
Malorn couldn't see or hear anything after that. It felt as if he went to sleep.
I'm going to end here
