A/N: Hey guys! It's been what 2 months? I`m sorry…I really am…But as per-usual RL got in the way…

But, if it is of any consolation for those that have read the other story I have (Merthur- He's such a prat) Tomorrow as a Christmas present for Socks7 I'm making an update. Afterwards I'm hopping in New Year, I'm posting a 3-shot (no I don't think that exist but, sometimes you have to amend some rules in life…) as a 2nd present. The first one was a request from her, the second one well that one, was totally voluntary… and well at first I was all like: "Hey a 1,000 words chapter doesn't seem like much of a present, why not take this idea I have had for a very long time but never wrote and write it for her?" Yeah at the time it seemed like a fantastic idea but then the thing started to grow and grow and grow and grow. And up until now it hasn't stopped…I had hoped to come up with a short story 1,000 words – 2,000 or 3,000 words maximum but, no. So when I post that thing I hope you guys enjoy it.

But don't start expecting a monster of 10,000 words because that isn't what happened. I have kept my sanity intact.

Well enough about that, I hope you enjoy the chapter!

If the paper was right he had to walk around this corner and-

"Watch it!" The guy yelled as Merlin accidentally bumped into him. "Sorry..." He murmured as he kneeled down to get the paper. "You bloody well should be!" The guy spat back.

"Hey, I said I`m sorry. You don't have to be such a prat about it!" He growled back as he looked up.

Arthur frowned. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me..." Merlin mirrored Arthur's expression. "Please tell me this is all just a really bad joke."

Arthur sighed. "Unfortunately for you it is not."

Well wasn't this all just great! "To think I was excited to come to school for the first time and now all I want to do is to drop out." Merlin murmured to himself. Arthur looked at him with an arched eyebrow. "This, is your first time...in a school?" He asked incredulously.

"Yeah?" merlin answered unsure on what to say, just realizing his mistake. "What is so weird about that?" Arthur scoffed. "Is it weird? No it isn't weird at all, in fact it explains why you such and idiot."

"Hey! Don't be so judgmental!" Merlin protested. "Seriously! How come you don't like me? I`m everyone's type! Even a blind man can see that!"

"Well guess what princess. I`m not one of those people. In fact you are probably #1 in my list of turn offs." Merlin spat back. "Just face it I do not like you, and just so you know I believe in equality between people-"

"Oh, I can see that."

"regardless of who they are." Merlin finished. "Now if you will excuse me. I need to go to Morganas office before she cuts me head off." He stomped off.

Merlin was sort of sick of this sudden meetings, he was just hoping they wouldn't happen again.

"What's wrong with him?" Gwaine signaled towards Arthur's direction. "I don't know..." Lancelot said glancing towards Arthur's direction. "He's been like that all morning."

Arthur his arms crossed over his chest, glaring at everything and everyone that approached him.

"Well then, let's hear it." Gwaine said as he took the chair before him and turned it around. "What?" Arthur snapped as he glared at him. "The reason you are pouting like a five year old." He remembered him. "I`m certainly not pouting." He glared at Gwaine and then at Lancelot.

"What are you glaring at me for?" Lancelot frowned. Gwaine rolled his eyes. "Fine then. Why are you glaring at every moving thing then? Because really I-"

"Morgana, your sister?" Gwaine frowned at him. "What does her evil highness have anything to do with this?"

"Remember the guy you bumped into some days ago?" Arthur asked. Lancelot nodded. "How can he forget, the guy was fucking hot!" Gwaine added.

Arthur stared at Gwaine as if the very idea of it was utterly ridiculous. "Gwaine, you literally fuck everything with a pulse." Lancelot reminded him. "As if, he would fuck a dead body if it wasn't illegal." Arthur scoffed.

"Oi!" Gwaine protested in defense but didn't argue as they weren't in the least wrong about what they were saying.

"What about him?" Lancelot asked going back to their main discussion. "I saw him today going to Morganas office."

Lancelot raised an eyebrow at him. "Ok, let me get this straight. You stalked him to Morganas office just to see what he was up to?"

"No." Arthur glared at him. "He told me he was going there."

"He could be a new student." Gwaine suggested. "But then why would Morgana want to meet him personally." Arthur asked. Lancelot sighed. "Ok, think about this for a moment Arthur. If he was going to be part in anything at all that Morgana was planning, why would tell you where he was going."

"Arghh!" Arthur passed a hand through his head in frustration. "I just don't know anymore!"

"You say you are 18 right?" Merlin nodded in response as Morgana gazed at him intensely from the other side of her desk. "Here," She said as she handed Merlin a paper. "You will be taking classes with Morgause from tomorrow onwards; you haven't missed much from the first day. Today unfortunately classes are being postponed due some issues we are having with the number of teachers."

Morgana gave Merlin smile and gestured him to leave. "And Merlin," She called before he left. "Don`t worry I`m sure you will catch up." Merlin just nodded at that last statement and left.

No, no, no, no. This wasn't happening. "I`m sorry Arthur but you leave me no choice." It was all just some kind of sick joke, it had to be. He knew it, because it had to be.

Right?

He wouldn't have gone to the extent of wiping them all out. "But what about our house? I was paying most of it since none of us can work at the moment. You know this, we need to focus 100% on-" But Uther wasn't taking none of it. "Arthur." He said firmly from the other end of the line.

"For fucks sake! You know very well we can't work! This is where our actual training starts!" He argued exasperatedly.

"That's no excuse for spending twenty thousand! Not even Morgana can spend that much money in less than a week!" Uther yelled losing his cool. "What did you bought country!?"

"No...We made some house remodeling." Said as if the fact would make it any better.

"House remodeling?" Uther repeated incredulously. "What was in the list? A 20 pound toilet made out of gold with a ruby's paper holder?!"

"What no..!" Arthur frowned. "Umm..." Arthur took a look at their bathroom as he passed by it. "In my defense...they are emeralds."

Uther sighed in frustration. "Arthur I'll wipe out all of them except for one." Uther said as calmly as he could. "No father please don't-" Arthur pleaded him as Uther hang up on him.

"Don't you think you are being a little hard on him?" Morgana said as she sat across from Uther. "Not in the slightest." Uther replied without hesitation. "Arthur thinks money just grows on us. He needs to know the value of it and if that means making him live on the streets then so be it. One of these days he is going to lead hell and I can't have someone like that sitting on my throne."

"Whatever you think best then. But you sure about him living on the streets, he can't pay for food, water a house and electricity with only the money you left him..."

"He should have thought of that beforehand." Uther replied dryly. "I'm sure he will think of something. But staying on that house is not an option for him anymore.

"I`m sure." Morgana tried to hide the smirk that began to form on her face.

Merlin tried to keep up with Morgana as she led him through the halls towards his classroom. At the same time he tried to take all in, the place looked ridiculously expensive like every line in every corner was worth millions. "This is it," She said as she stopped beside a glass door not quite see through. "room 210. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask. Give this to Morgause and she will excuse you for being late." She said as she handed him a tiny paper. "Thanks..." He looked up at her as she gave him a quick smile and left.

Merlin cleared his throat and gulped. What would a classroom look like? Where would he sit? Would they tell him or will he take whatever chair was available? Merlin drowned in questions before he finally decided on knocking. He knocked once, too slightly to be heard. He knocked twice a little harder.

No response...

This was room 210 right..?

He knocked harder. Was there no-one I there? He tried again this time louder.

"Come in." Someone answered from the inside sounding irritated. He hesitated again. "Come in!" The voice yelled harder. Taking Merlin by surprise as the door yelled open before he could even turn the handle. Reveling a furious blonde woman. "Who are you?" She demanded; all eyes on him. "I`m..." He shifted a little to the side. "Morgana told me to give this to you..." He showed her the paper.

She snatched the paper from his hands giving him a glare before reading it.

She raised an eyebrow at him in putting the paper down shoving him in and closing the door. She walked back to the side of her desk d sighed in exasperation as she looked back at Merlin standing awkwardly by the door looking at her expectantly.

"Merlin honey," The blonde woman started sweetly. "would you be a sweetheart and be so kind to take a chair so I can start class." She gritted trough her teeth.

Merlin might have only heard his name cross through 3 person's lips before but he was sure that he would ever hear it sound anymore deadlier than now.

He heard some suppressed laughter through the room but, as soon as the woman shot glare at the class even a heartbeat could have been heard. Which shouldn't surprise him much...

Looking around the room he spotted a chair beside a window and excitement overcame him. The last 3 days he had been there had passed them in the garden no matter how many times he entered the last floor it never failed to make him feel that little spark in his chest that only seemed to grow by the minute. He hadn't have time to test his freedom but he was sure he would have time for that later.

As he sat down by the window he looked once more around the classroom and it seemed oddly empty. He frowned but shrugged it off deciding on ignoring it and listen to the scary woman.

"My name is Morgause and you shall call me nothing but that." Merlin was already thinking of a few names. "I`ll be your history of magic teacher-" A chill went down Merlin's spine when Morgause was interrupted by a group of buys barging into the classroom. She did not look amused she was glaring daggers at the lot. Merlin did not doubt her next move would be chopping all of their heads off.

"Arthur Pendragon." She said and Merlin was glad he wasn't the target this time around. "Morgause." He said somewhat sheepishly the sudden realization hit Merlin hard..."Holy shit." He murmured to himself and as if the sudden words that crossed his mouth where any indication that he was in the room Arthur turned to look at his direction and his face dropped. He knew he had heard that name before.

But then Merlin decided the prat wasn't worth his time and he stared blankly back at him. It seemed blondes weren't his type after all. Before Arthur could voice out any sort of explanation for them being late Morgause sighed in exasperation. "Sit down, I`ll let it go it being the first time. Next time." She made a dramatic pause that surprisingly worked. "Well be sure there isn't a next time." Of course as a finishing touch to her theatrical performance some people froze at her words.

When they went to sit down Merlin was surprised to see that one of them sat beside him when the other one and Arthur sat upfront even though there was clearly a chair left by them. When they had settled down Arthur glanced back at the other and rolled his eyes and glared for a minute at Merlin before turning to face front again.

What's his problem? Merlin thought as he glared daggers at the blondes back. "I don't think that's going to help..." Lancelot as he remembered his name said. "No, I suppose not." He sighed turning from looking at the blondes back at Lancelot. "Nothing will ever be sharp enough to get through that thick skull of his, is it?"

Before the conversation could go on any further Morgause started speaking again. "I want to get something straight with all of you." She glared at no-one yet at everyone at the same time.

"My class may be boring, you might not see the purpose in it since it is all in the past and it is not a matter of now and I`m not going to lie. Some of you may wish were never born before the year ends and some of you may curse me and hope I get sent to hell-" She smirked. "but, I`m sorry for breaking it to you but…We are already in hell. More than half of you will hate me during the first semester and all of you will have nightmare of me years after graduating my class. But, regardless you will get out of here hopefully smarter than your dogs."

Arthur knew this woman since he was little, her being Morganas half-sister and everything. But, even so she was frightening even in his eyes. Maybe even more frightening than Morgana…of course she is…

He scoffed.

After all Morgana learned everything she knew from her. Morgana used to be so adorable and sweet when they were little. Until Morgause had put her hands on her and possibly injected Morgana with some kind of poison that turned her into pure evil.

Arthur looked around the classroom and everyone looked like they wanted to get out of there screaming and running for their dear lives. Morgana had once told him what a monster her sister became while teaching and about how seriously she took it. He had just shrugged it off as Morgana exaggerating. Though Morgana wasn't one to exaggerate things he should have known as much yet it took him by surprise. If anything what Morgana had told him was an understatement.

He felt bad thinking it, but he was glad he wasn't the only one feeling intimidated by her. (After all the people that could make him feel like that he could count them with one hand. Uther and now Morgause…and Morgana well, it depended in the situation.)

And so when he turned his head to look over his shoulder at Lance he thought he was seeing things. Because as he came to call him. "The blue eyed idiot." Was looking at Morgause with something that could only be described as excitement and something like admiration sparkling through his eyes.

Maybe he was masochist? Arthur thought. Or maybe he had some kind of mental-affliction. Because otherwise there couldn't have been another better explanation for the smile that was crossing the idiots face.

Then he realized he didn't know the guy's name. What was his name? He tried to shake off the part of him that was wondering because, why should he care? But instead of doing just that he just thought about it and that thinking about it lead him to start wondering even more things about him. Like, who was he? Is he really all that smart that even Morgana acknowledged him? Why did Morgana want to meet him personally? Where did he come from? His train of thought came to a stop when he realized Morgause was speaking and he was still staring at Merlin. Which wasn't that big of a deal since he hadn't noticed but Lance had.

"As your homeroom teacher I`ll be handing out your schedules." She handed them a pile of papers in the front to be handed out, as they were scattered around Merlin took one and Morgause proceeded into explaining it. Merlin felt it was ridiculous. What was the point in repeating what the paper already said?

"Every morning at 7:30am you take class with me till 9:00am then you take spell-casting classes with Aredian from 9:00am till 10:30am then flight class with Nimueh from 10:30am till 12:00am then you take your lunch break from 12:00pm till 1:00pm than you take healing class with Alice from 1:00pm till 2:30pm. If you have any questions feel free to ask." And that last sentence she said with a tone that stated. "Yeah you do that, if you have a death wish. I do not have time to waste in your petty questions."

"Before we go on I`ll pass some papers for you to fill with your information, bring them to my desk when you are finished."

No beta so all the mistakes here are on me...
