Chapter 4, Emma swan POV

Okay so the first day of school was not as spectaculair as Emma Swan thought it would be. She had always imaged that these kind of rich school gave the childern somekind of special treatment, they did not. It was just as boring as any other school Emma ever went to, actually it was slightly more boring. All the childern here had parents to impress with high grades, so they all pretty much payed attention and listened to every word the boring teacher said. All of them probably wanted to go to Harvard or something, and even without high grades they would get in. Their parents would just buy them in. But anyway with everyone paying attention and no fights breaking out, like at Emma's old school, Emma had nothing to do but to try to pay attention as well. Try. No matter how hard Emma tried to keep focused on the class, she couldn't. Her mind went everywhere as she stared out of the window. Even the weather was boring, raindrops dripping down. Not enough to be a beautiful storm, but enough to make the world seem boring and grey. Everything anoyed Emma that day, even the stupid school uniform she had to wear. It was the most basic uniform you could imagine; all black and white with the red school emblame on the blazer. Emma couldn't wait for the classes to end.

When the bell rang, Emma quickly put her books in her bag. She hadn't even opened them during the class, and left for lunch. The cantine looked pretty fancy, more like a restaurant then a high school cantine. It made Emma feel uncomfertable and out of place. She sighed and went to get some food, while she was waiting in the line she looked around the cantine. Small groups of girls sat in the back, all talking and whipsering. They glanced at her multiple time and started laughing. Great Emma thought, A horde of bitches, just what I needed. She saw Mary and James walk to her, a small sigh escaped her lips. She didn't have anything personal against them. She just hated these close couples, they would always look into the words like they're better just because they're in a relationship. Okay she hated really all couples but those close ones the most. Emma never really had a boyfriend, she was always friends with the boys. She did have some crushes growing up, but she always got friendzoned. Emma went with her hand through her blond girls and faked a smile at Mary. "Hey..."
