Hey guys! I'm sorry that I haven't updated recently. The only excuses I have are that I am now working with little kids which is exceptionally draining, while filling out college applications and my muse decided not to cooperate with me. *Glares*

Muse: Eep!*Runs away*

So anyway I hope that you all enjoy this chapter!

Edward spun to a stop and smiled at Alphonse.

"That was awesome Al! You always make me the best dancing music." Edward went over and rubbed his younger brothers metal head.

"Only because I enjoy seeing you so happy brother!."

Edward smiled warmly at the suit of armor. His little brother really was the sweetest thing. He turned his head to look at the clock and startled. It was almost time for Roy to come. He raced out the door and took his place on his pole. He saw Alphonse turn off the lights in the house, knowing by now what his brothers actions ment.

Soon enough Edward saw Roy's figure running up the hill towards him. When Roy got to him he immediately started digging up his jar of coins.

"Oh Scarecrow! It's amazing! We finally got our last coin! Riza and Jean can finally get married and open the blacksmith shop they want! And Maes can ask Gracia to marry him! Finally we can leave this town! Oh Scarecrow it's going to be... oh, but then I guess that we won't be able to see each other anymore." Roys voice trailed off in the end. It sounded weird but for the longest time. He quickly got up to leave.

"Please look after this money for me. Promise you won't let anyone take it. Goodbye scarecrow."

Before Roy knew what he was doing he cupped scarecrows cheek in his hand. He gasped and pulled his hands back once he realized what he was doing and quickly started his trek down the hill. Honestly what was wrong with him! Scarecrow was just that, a scarecrow! But scarecrow had always seemed so real to him. He always felt something special about scarecrow, he felt like a person not just some burlap sack filled with straw.

But he was just that, a burlap sack filled with straw, he wasn't a real person. Besides he was free, he didn't have to visit scarecrow anymore. That made him sad. But it was time for him to grow up. He wanted to have a family one day, he was free, it was time for him to move on.

What Roy didn't notice was Lust and Gluttony staring at him behind the bushes.

"He touched me." Edward sighed. He might not ever see Roy again after tommorow but he would always have these memories. He was about to get off of his pole before he heard a rustling in the bushes. He quickly put on the just a scarecrow act as he waited for whoever it was to come out.

Lust and Gluttony made their way out of the bushes and towards the scarecrow.

"So this is where he hid the money. Smart move until he dropped that coin in front of Envy." Sai Lust.

"Gluttony move that rock."

Gluttony quickly obeyed Lust's orders and dug up the money. Once he found it he handed the jar to Lust.

"Wow, I think this was all the money he needed. Oh well it's ours now." Lust said with a smug smirk on her face.

Edward could feel himself becoming madder by the minute. That was Roy's money! He and his friends had worked hard for it, they needed it to be free, to fulfill their dreams. Even if it meant exposing himself he wasn't going to let Lust and Gluttony take that money. Roy and his friends were human, he was just a scarecrow. They had futures and he wasn't about to let them be taken away!

Edward quickly got off the pole and snatched the jar away from Lust. Gluttony tried to grab it back but Edward quickly punched him in his nasty face. No sooner had he done this than Alphonse came running out of the house.

"Brother!"

" A living scarecrow and armor! Ahhhhhh!" Lust screamed. She quickly grabbed Gluttony and raced down the hill.

"Hahahaha! Nobody messes with the keeper of the coins!" Edward yelled triumphantly.

"Brother are you insane! What if they tell people what they saw!"

"Don't worry Al no ones gonna believe them. They'll just think that they've gone crazy. Now how to get this money to Roy."

"What?! No! Absolutely not! We are not going to risk going into town! We could be killed!" Alphonse yelled at his brother. Honestly what was going through Ed's head!

Edward turned to look at his brother sadly. He knew that Alphonse was right, it was way too big of a risk. But...

"Al don't you see this might be my only chance. I'm never going to see him again after this anyway so even if he does freak out... i'll... deal with it. Please Al just this once I want to know what it's like to talk to someone. Someone who... who." Edward trailed off.

"Someone who you love." Alphonse sighed. He understood why his brother felt the need to do this. After all people did crazy things when they were in love. But even so if his brother was going to do this he wasn't going to do it alone. Afterall Alphonse was made of metal, he would be able to protect his brother should anything happen.

"Okay we'll go, but as soon as we give Roy his money we are gone, got it."

Edward was beaming with happiness. He quickly jumped up to hug his brother.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you Al!"

Alphonse just sighed and hugged his brother back.

' Why do I have the feeling that nothing is going to go as planned?'
