Finally a free jailbird Lenore walked down the street while she attempted to ignore everyone who was staring at her, a sense of sadness coming over her when some of the villagers backed off like she was going to flip her lid and eat them. Lenore was made to forget this when someone whipped her off her feet and dragged her into a tight hug however.
"Lenore, you're okay!" Ami squeaked, smiling brightly when Lenore hugged her back just as tightly. "You need a shower." her friend whispered, her smile remaining but growing a little disgusted.
"I know." she replied in a happy tone.
Going back to her house Ami sat on the wooden floor near a bonsai plant, rather impressed by the damages the builders had fixed while Lenore was away. You would not have known there had been a gaping hole in the front of the house had you not been there at the time. Glad to be home Lenore reappeared with slightly damp hair, thankful to have finally had a shower and gotten into a fresh kimono. She did not get a chance to rest however, as Ami had complained about how thin she had gotten and had dragged her out to a ramen bar to feed her until she was stuffed, or dive straight into poverty trying.
When Madara and a few others had come looking for her later on they had stopped to watch the woman in question shovelling bowl after bowl of food into her mouth. The shop owner soon having said empty bowls handed back to him as she slams her hand down for another to the cheer of a small crown who watch her inhale a dango as she waits.
"Lenore, that's the fifth bowl you've had. Don't you think…" Ami spoke hesitantly, while Lenore simply smiles at her before shovelling more food down. In response her friend whimpered at the sight of her money going out and into the monstrous mouth of the young Uchiha who seemed to be a bottomless pit, in fact it almost seemed like Ami was going to start crying when Lenore finally decided she was finished and turned her attention to a candy stall.
Grabbing her wrist she dragged her across the way to the shop, her hand delving into her pocket to take out her own money to pay for the sweets. Heading back to her house Lenore flumped to the floor and lay there to rest, while Ami simply shook her head and caught sight of Madara and the Senju brothers watching from the window. This was possibly the worst time for them to show up; especially for Ami, who wanted to make a good impression on the son's leader whenever he was around.
Lenore on the other hand did not seem to care, and was currently on her back twitching, a dopy smile plastered on her face and a hand on her stomach as she rests.
"You've got guests." Ami coughed, kicking Lenore in the side as she tried to pretend she was not doing so and smiled sweetly at Madara.
"My guards?" the Uchiha asked, rubbing her eyes as she pulled herself into a sitting position.
When they nodded Ami seemed to jump for the moon and grab onto Lenore, a giddy expression coming over her face as she whispered into Lenore's eat.
"This is Ami. Ami, that's Madara and that's Tobirama. Where did Hashirama go?" Lenore introduced them, taking a moment to realise they were one Senju short. In response they simply shrugged, while Lenore got up to stretch and Ami continued to stare in awe at Lenore's 'hot' new supervisors.
"What did I miss in class?" she enquired with one eye open lazily.
"Well, you missed the fan dancing ceremony practise, and the art of tea making." the blonde answered, while Lenore simply rolled her eyes.
"Oh, how 'misfortunate'." she sighed gently, blinking a little when a fan was stuck in her hand.
As though it came naturally Lenore flicked it out and began to fan herself, while Ami simply hitched her eyebrow.
"That wasn't too bad." she acknowledged, while her fellow Uchiha just shrugged.
"My mum taught me." she explained. "I guess I know most things then, but I'm still missing the knowledge of actual coking and keeping a man. I know the entertainment to the bone." she sighed with a hapless shrug.
Pulling her through to the kitchen Ami set up her with a chopping board and some good, the pare making some rice balls and sushi.
"And since we have some test subjects..." her friend spoke once they were done, taking Lenore's creations and offering them to the two men. Hesitantly they took one of each and began to munch on them, though only Tobirama seemed to openly make a rather content expression. "Looks like they were a success." Ami acknowledged, while Lenore nodded. "So now we just need to teach you how to make tea, then I guess you know everything up to our point." Ami uttered, while the young Uchiha went about getting everything together.
Back in the living room the pair of women sat together messing with the tealeaves, though Lenore just spilled most of the mixture all over the floor haphazardly at first. Eventually she started to get the point, understanding that it was no good trying to speed up the process by spinning her hand like a tornado on drugs.
"Brutal." Ami murmured, shaking her head.
"It took the class three lessons to get it right, I wouldn't worry about it." her friend murmured, only for Lenore to hiss at her and grab more ingredients to try again.
"You're so competitive." her friend uttered, feeling her body draw away into the distance for a moment as she watched Lenore hard at work.
Under the pressure Lenore was putting onto it the bowl suddenly broke, making Ami twitch a little and take the grinding stone away from her.
"Let's… take a break." she murmured, motioning for Lenore to stand up. "Let's see you do some sort of dance." she uttered, taking a step back to give the Uchiha some room, because Kami knows she would need it. Raising the fans Lenore just gave Ami a slightly unsure expression as she wiggled about, while her friend grabbed the bridge of her nose. "A dance, not the worm." she protested, while Lenore tried again by swinging her hips from side to side with her arms hung in front of herself. "That's a shimmy." she stated, causing the Uchiha to pause and then swing her hips from side to side while flapping either fan behind the back of her head. "I don't even know what that is." she mumbled, get face growing rather placid.
"I am trying." Lenore murmured, giving the fans a rather dry look.
"Well, keep practising how to make tea, I have to go now, dinner'll be ready soon." Ami uttered, waving her hand as she shut the door.
Now along Lenore sighed, trying her best to ignore the pair watching her as she went to tune one of her instruments.
"I'm hungry, Lenore." Tobirama complained, prodding her in the cheek.
"I'm busy." she answered, glancing at him as he tried to give her the puppy dog eyes.
"Don't do that face, only I can do the face." Lenore mumbled, getting up as his eyes only grew larger and his lip began to quake. "Don't make this personal." Lenore mumbled, prodding him in the forehead in a teasing manner.
"Oh, is that a challenge?" he asked with a smirk, raising his hands to try grab her. In response Lenore ducked and shoved him to the floor, her weight pushing down on his chest as she sat on him to keep him in place.
"You asked for it, Tobi." Lenore stated, while his eyebrows began to twitch.
Slowly her eyes began to widen and quiver, the edges beginning to produce crocodile tears as her bottom lip shuddered. Trapped in her snare Tobirama could do nothing more than whimper, while Lenore simply let him go and began to laugh as she got up and wandered off, leaving the warrior paralyzed on the floor. When she brought him some cooked food he snapped out of the trance almost instantaneously however, and sat straight up to take the plate and eat them.
Watching his content expression Lenore could do nothing more than yawn and begin to head upstairs, her watchers following her as she paused to give them a studious glance.
"Is this the bathroom? It's so small?" Madara enquired, taking the time to finally step out of his back-seat stance and speak.
"This is my bedroom." the young Uchiha answered, her eyebrow twitching as he continued to examine her parent's old bedroom, the largest room in the house.
"What's the bathroom look like then?" he asked, glancing in the direction of her hand, which was pointing down the hall.
Hearing a few gasps Lenore caught them saying something along the lines of 'it's so small', the very statement causing her to groan inwardly. Falling backwards onto the bed Lenore lazed there, there was no point getting into her pyjamas as they were most likely going to sit in her room and watch her, an almost over-blown necessity. They could leave her alone for a night, she was not going to go anywhere, not yet anyway. In the morning Lenore aroused from her slumber and woke herself up by yawning and stretching, her head tilting over to glance at where she had ended up resting her head. Somehow she had managed to put her head on Madara's stomach and her feet on Tobirama's back, her head and feet being taken away from their body warmth as she sat up moments later.
Undisturbed by her movements Lenore got to her feet and flattened out her kimono, her hand scuffing her hair softly as she looked around the room. Allowing her eyes to fall upon Madara's armour the young woman paused, he had taken it off last night to sleep it seemed. Giving the leader's son a rather devious smirk her lips curled up at the edges as she crept away to lift up the breastplate, her eyes widening when she realised just how heavy it actually was as she attempted to lift it over her head. Putting it over her shoulders Lenore almost fell over when it began to drag her off balance, her wobbling body attempting to keep itself upright by sticking out her foot behind her.
Stilling the Uchiha began too smile with awe, it was a little too big in comparison to her body but she did not seem to mind and went about trying to take Tobirama's sword from the wall as well. The weapon was exceedingly light in comparison and she had no trouble tying it around her waist. Sniggering she gave the wall a coy smirk with her eyes slit mockingly, her arm flexing as she considered just how much better she looked in Madara's armour than he did.
Unbeknownst to Lenore, however, Madara had awoken from his slumber and had risen up on the bed to glare at her, his voice drilling into her back.
"What are you doing?" he sternly enquired, making her jump and fumble backwards onto the floor with a heavy thud. Wincing at the weight that had come down upon her torso Lenore shifted her eyes to look up at Madara, her eyes examining him from her upside down perspective on the floor.
"Morning." the young Uchiha spoke sweetly.
"Why have you got my armour on?" he asked, his eyes narrowing as she just continued to smile at him.
"It looks good on me, doesn't it?" she enquired cheerfully, only making him all the more annoyed. "You'll get wrinkled if you do that." Lenore pointed out, her lips curling up in jest.
Not even slightly amused by her antics Madara watched Lenore as she began to kick her legs and flail her arms.
"What are you doing now?" he asked dryly, watching her struggle about for a little while longer before her limbs fell limp on the floor once more. Ignoring him Lenore craned her head up and began to flick her legs once more, pausing once she heard Tobirama laugh in amusement.
"I think the turtle is stuck." he explained, laughing even more when she began to pout firmly up at him.
"I see why you don't wear this thing to bed." she huffed, struggling for a few more minutes before she finally just lazed there and stared at them.
Watching them get up Lenore lolled her eyes across the room as they went to the door.
"Hey… Hey! You can't leave me like this." Lenore protested, whimpering a little.
"While you're stuck to the ground Madara and myself can take five and get something to eat." the Senju explained, causing Lenore to pause.
"You can cook?" she asked, rather surprised by this. Glancing between one another Tobirama simply smirked, his eyes shifting back to her.
"Nope." he stated with a grin, shrugging gingerly as they disappeared into the hall.
Taking a moment to allow this to settle in her mind Lenore seemed to roar a little to herself in shock and begin to flail around erratically.
"By the power of the first lady Uchiha!" she yelled as though it were a battle cry, her body rocking back and forth until she got onto her front. Struggling onto her hands and knees Lenore lifted herself up and wobbled to her feet with a triumphant smirk. "Muhahaha!" she cackles, stomping forward across the room like a baby having its first few steps.
"What was that supposed to be?" Tobirama enquired, hitching his eyebrow as she squirmed past them and went down the hall slowly.
"My evil laugh." Lenore answered as though it were obvious.
Pausing at the top of the stairs Lenore peered down them, a small gulp shifting down her throat as she put her hand on the banister. Hatching an idea Lenore then tried to climb onto the railing, deciding she could probably slide down the wood to the bottom.
"I don't think that's a good idea." Madara commented, only hearing a humph as she prepared herself.
"Slide." she chirruped, her stupid grin fading as she found she did not move even an inch.
Examining them as they examined her Lenore wriggled slightly, hoping it would unstick her and allow her to go down the banister. Much to her dismay her body began tilting to the side however, her arms flapping at either side of her body to try keep her from falling before she squeaked and soon found herself looking at the ceiling. Finding herself being caught before she could hit the ground Lenore stiffened, her eyes, which had been screwed shut, opening when someone spoke.
"You're an idiot." the cold and collected voice murmured, while Madara glared down at the woman.
Grabbing the bottom of the breastplate Madara slipped it off of her with one quick pull, causing her to fall to the floor on her ass by his feet, a soft gasp parting her lips as she found her entire body was now a lot lighter than before. Every muscle in her body seemed to be aching now, causing her to just remain on the floor until she felt healthy enough to move again.
Catching the aroma of something burning Lenore quickly got to her feet and scuttled to the kitchen with her eyes wide, though she settled soon enough when she realised it was just Madara's long hair that had been singed. Examining Tobirama as he turned Lenore could not help but tense up as she tried not to laugh at his blackened face, a soft tut passing her lips once she got over the initial shock and came to help them. Taking the plates they had broken Lenore grumbled, her hands pushing the pieces together like two puzzle chips before she hummed.
"Fix-no-Jutsu." she stated, watching as the crack running own the centre began to fade.
Observing her with awe they watched her put the plate down and turn Madara around to face away from her, her hands weaving trough his hair to examine the damages. Picking up a pair of scissors Lenore began snipping away at the frazzled ends, only allowing him to check his hair when she let go and went to get a sweeping brush to push the strands out into the garden.
Binning the food they had burnt Lenore sighed and glared at the two men.
"Do me a favour and never touch my kitchen, or I'll cut you with a butchers knife." she threatened weakly, causing Tobirama to step back nervously as the leader's son simply yawned, clearly disinterested in her threats. Heading back into the living room the trio settled down, while Lenore simply peered around with a bored expression.
"There's nothing to do." she sighed, not quite in the mood to go outside. If she went out there she would have crowds flock to her just so they could grab at Madara.
"You could always start considering husbands." Tobirama suggested, only making her hum and glance about the house.
"I'm a little scared about this." she murmured gently, her finger nails running up the fabric of her kimono. "They'll expect more than just a friendly hand shake on the first night, wont they?" she asked, peering down at the floor. "It seems a waste, losing something so precious to someone you don't love." she sighed, looking a bit gloomier than usual.
Thinking it over Lenore remained quiet for a moment as she mulled it over before speaking.
"I guess I could learn to love them." she frowned. "There's a book of men that are single, right?" she enquired, finally looking at them as Tobirama shook his head. Grumbling she gave them an annoyed pout, her expression dropping. "What, I get put into a family were I don't even know who they are?" Lenore asked, her eyes narrowing. "That's stupid. What if I get stuck with someone as ugly as they boar guy down the street!" the Uchiha snapped, while Madara simply rolled his eyes. "Not that looks matter, or anything… It's all in the personality." Lenore huffed, correcting herself once she realised what she had said.
"You're such a drama queen." the leader's son uttered, shaking his head.
After about an hour of laying there trying to think of something to do Lenore's eyes seemed to spark when she looked to Madara.
"Hey, speckles, can we go to your house? I've never been up there… that you know of." Lenore asked, sitting up slowly as he glared at the nickname.
"What you mean 'that you know of'?" the Uchiha asked, watching her cheeks turn a flush shade of pink.
"When I was younger people would kill to get into your house, and you would try and keep anyone who was uninvited out. I say 'try' because at Izuna's twelfth birthday party, which I was not invited to, I was lucky enough to watch the second half of the spar between you and your father from behind a potted plant." Lenore explained, while his gaze seemed to shift slightly. "I was the bearded samurai your dad invited in because I said I was a big fan of Hakari Phuong, who ever the hell that is." she added, smiling brightly.
Twitching his eyebrow Madara contemplated the idea of sticking her back in a jail cell, though she did not seem to notice the annoyed look on his face.
"Can we go?" she enquired, while the fellow Uchiha continued to glare.
"No." he bluntly stated, a pout forming on her lips before something sparked through her eyes in thought. Getting up she continued to try convince him to let her go.
"Please?" she asked, dropping down in front ofhim with her eyes growing larger. "It's not like I'll break anything." she uttered, only receiving a minor growl as the leader's son scowled at her eyes that were getting increasingly bigger.
"I would never let the likes of you into my house." he continued to refuse.
"Even if I was a god?" Lenore enquired, his sharingan shifting as she watched it without any kind of flinching.
"Not even if you were a god." he responded sharply, causing her to sigh in defeat and get back onto her feet.
Heading upstairs Lenore put her hand against his chest as he stopped, a frown forming on her face.
"Sit, spot." she stated, slipping into the bathroom to shut the door behind herself.
"You'll want to get used to that if you're going to hang around her for so long." Tobirama chuckled, while Madara muttered to himself.
"Don't scowl, you'll get wrinkles!" Lenore shouted from the other side of the door, only making Madara's scowl intensify. Dragging the enraged Uchiha back to the living room Tobirama tried to convince him to just sit down and relax, though that was an S-rank mission in itself. Lenore was beginning to become a handful for even Madara.
By the end of the month Lenore had completely lightened up around the leader's son, attempting to get under his skin almost every day now, while his anger levels remained so easy to mess with that it was no longer a mission but rather a game for her. While outside Lenore found it harder to ignore the women of the village glaring at her whenever she was walking beside the Uchiha, but of course she never let it bother her, it was not like she had a choice in the matter.
"Lenore, what umbrella?" Ami enquired, trotting over to hold up a pink one and a golden one.
"That one will go with your kimono." Lenore answered after some though, her finger pointing to the pink parasol.
Continuing on Lenore paused to look at a few fans in a shop window, though her eyes quickly trailed away towards a blacksmiths before she stopped by a tree.
"Spot." she uttered, finding no response.
Turning to figure out what had happened to him Lenore found that both men had stopped to talk to a few other women nearby, the very sight causing her to shake her head. Walking on a little further through the busy town Lenore observed all of the brides-to-be getting ready for the ceremony, though she did not contemplate it for much longer before she headed up a steep hill and into the graveyard.
Following the path she finally came to two stones, one far older than the other. Examining them Lenore sighed, her hand slipping into her kimono to produce a flower she had hidden there.
"Well, here does nothing." she murmured, glancing around. "Oh, this is so weird, I don't even know what to say." she hummed, squeezing the stem of the lotus. "I'm sorry I haven't visited much, I've been kind of busy." she murmured, peering at her feet. "No, that's not true." she sighed, slowly kneeling in front of them.
Giving both stones a once over with her eyes Lenore soon groaned.
"I'm lying to a slab of granite." she murmured simply, putting the flower down between the graves. "I could have used you around this month, I miss you." she mumbled, glancing to her mother's stone. "You tell him to, since he only ever listened to you." she stated, laughing a little. "You know what; never mind, because he'd never believe it." she uttered in jest, wiping a tear from her eye.
Feeling the presence of the two men coming her way Lenore stood up, her ebony eyes observing the stone one last time before she turned to walk towards them. Tobirama's stern expression faded once he realised where she had gone, while Madara continued to give her a suspicious examination.
Back at her house Tobirama had left to report that she had not gone missing, and that it was a misjudged assumption that she had ran away, leaving Lenore and Madara alone in her house. Not that he was safe around her by himself, as Lenore had began plotting how to annoy him as she prowled forwards and pounced him from behind. Tensing the leader's son turned his head to look at her with an annoyed stare, his eyes trailing down to see that she was wearing his armour again.
To his irritation she had gotten so used to wearing it that she could not jump and run about in it perfectly, but this time he was more annoyed by the fact that she had penned crease marks onto her face and was trying to make herself look more like him.
"Guess who I am, spot." she asked, trying to fake a drab and deep voice to no success.
"I've told you not to put on my armour." he snapped bitterly, but she did not budge and continued to keep her arms locked around his neck.
"Just because I look better than you do." she uttered, giving him a teasing stare.
Slowly he began to unwind from his usually angst, observing her as she held up Tobirama's 'missing' sword and grinning.
"With this sword I shall summon forth a bowl of ramen!" she stated, while he faintly smiled, the expression fading away just as quickly as it appeared.
"Spot.. You smiled." Lenore gasped, coming around to sit in front of him instead. "Do it again." she uttered, pouting when he remained as emotional as always. Lifting her arms Lenore used her thumbs to stretch his lips into a silly smile, a grin coming over her face. "See, you look nice when you smile." the Uchiha informed him, while he just tensed up.
Madara was not one for being touched involuntarily but he had given up telling her off since nothing he said ever stuck in her head, but this did only make her all the more confident about what she thought she could do around him. Allowing a devious smirk to crawl up her face Lenore pushed him backwards and crawled up to sit on his stomach smugly, her hands being placed at either side of his ribs.
Not quite sure what she was up to Madara observed her carefully, only blushing slightly when she leaned her face closer to his own and stared into his eyes intently.
"I wonder what your laugh is like." she uttered, flicking her hands up to gently dig her nails into his defenceless sides before he could react. Wriggling her nails up his ribs the leader's son began to squirm around underneath her, her poorly devised evil laugh mocking him from where she was sitting.
Continuing to tickle him Madara finally grabbed onto her wrists, his face flush from trying to hold in his laugh, which only made Lenore frown with disappointment and become all the more determined to break him. Quickly doing a hand seal while her held her wrists together Lenore summoned another clone, who swiftly grabbed onto a part of him and began tickling away, his hands flinching up to stop her instead as Lenore quickly attacked him once more.
"C'mon, spot. Laugh!" she yelped, leaning on his stomach.
Still refusing to cooperate Lenore summoned a second clone so that she could press down on his chest lazily and watch him squirm. Finally he gasped, allowing a laugh to escape his throat. Glad to have finally gotten through his protective barrier they continued to tickle him until they were satisfied, while Lenore leaned towards his face like before with a smirk.
"You should laugh more often." she uttered, grinning playfully as she got off of him. Sitting up Madara tensed up as he attempted to wipe the grin off of his face, a deep breath passing his lips as he tried to kill his sniggering as well.
"Do that again and I will sharingan you from here to the next village." the leader's son snapped coldly, grabbing her by the wrists to pin her to the floor this time instead.
"I was only playing." Lenore huffed, pouting childishly up at him until he finally let her go again and allowed her to sit up.
Sitting there rubbing his sides Lenore observed him for a moment, the sound of chattering outside her window gaining her mild attention.
"Do you think I'll hate my husband?" she enquired.
"Probably, there's nothing you don't hate." he murmured, making her shift her eyes to the floor.
"I don't hate you." she responded after a short pause. "As much as I did before, anyway." she added. Truth be told she had actually grown rather fond of the moody Uchiha over the past month they had been together. Deciding to take her mind off of the subject Lenore went through to the kitchen and made Madara something to eat and drink, though it did not seem to help as she had come to realise she was making him his favourite dishes without even thinking about it.
Putting them down on a tray in front of him Lenore watched him eat, her ears waiting for the usual satisfied sound, even if he tried to hide it. Flopping backwards Lenore sighed, gaining a glance from him.
"You should stop doing that." he informed her, while she simply twisted her head to give him a curious glance over.
"Why, because it'll damage my face?" she asked, while he rolled his eyes.
"You're already damaged enough." he answered smugly, making her tut.
Examining her like he always did Madara sipped from his hot beverage.
"At any rate, a husband wouldn't want his wife acting like that, it's impolite and unlady like." he added, her eyes rolling as she twisted her head away from him. "You're an idiot anyway, so I doubt they'd be surprised." he added,
"Yeah, well you're a fool." he responded, causing his eyebrow to twitch slightly.
"And you're a terrible wife." he sharply commented, finishing his food as she sat up to look at him directly.
"Takes one to know one." she smugly informed him, wiping the smirk off of his face and replacing it with a scowl.
"I'd like to see you say that again." he growled, while she simply gave him a coy expression and shuffled closer to lean forward.
"Takes one, to know one." she states, rolling each word off of her tongue slowly.
Looking directly into his sharing an she chuckled when he snarled and flickered his sharingan, though it did not seem to intimidate her as she leaned away again.
"Was the food okay?" Lenore asked.
"My maids could do better." he muttered, looking away as she pouted softly. Nodding she took away the tray and empty plates, her figure reappearing minutes later with a pillow so that she could laze about on it and mumble to herself. Madara was not the most interesting of people, and the fact that he hardly spoke only made matters worse.
"I'm dreading this last day of freedom. I like being on my own." Lenore sighed, rolling back up into a sitting position.
Curling her legs up towards her chest she then looked at his hand, a small thought passing over her.
"Can I try something?" she enquired, gaining Madara's attention as he gave her a confused stare when she put her hand over his.
From there she did not move much, her eyes watching as she fiddled with his fingers, checked the size difference between them, and inspected what it would be like to hold someone's hand.
"What are you doing?" the Uchiha asked, beginning to question if that were a reoccurring question or perhaps a statement nowadays. Seemingly dazed by what she was doing Lenore intertwined her fingers with his and then released her hold on his hand and drew her hand away.
"Nothing." she finally spoke, examining the bamboo mat underneath her. Giving her an almost searching look Madara soon spoke.
"Lenore." he uttered her name gently, something that had never come from his mouth before, she was almost surprised he actually knew her name.
Turning to look at him with an odd look the young Uchiha flinched when she felt his lips press against her own.
"What was that for?" she enquired in disbelief, blushing deeply.
"Why would you want to be on your own?" he asked, ignoring the question entirely and pretending the kiss had not occurred at all.
Stilling Lenore thought over his question, her head turning away as she curled up again.
"It's easier that way." she answered, staring at her feet. Tensing gently Lenore blinked when his cool hand pulled her face back up towards him so that he could kiss her again. Unsure of how to deal with the situation the ebony haired Uchiha kissed him back cautiously, her eyelids slowly shutting as he slid his arm around her waist.
"I haven't left, have I?" he enquired in a smooth and dark voice, her head slipping down to lean against his shoulder.
"You'll have to leave once I get married." Lenore spoke in a soft voice.
"I doubt that." the Uchiha answered, swirling his fingers across her back.
"Why's that?" Lenore asked, giving him an odd look.
"I convinced my father to allow you to marry me." he explained, watching her expression drop.
"But you're supposed to marry someone important." Lenore stated, not quite sure if he was trying to tell her a joke.
"My father and I came to a logical agreement." the leader's son answered.
"I'm not living in a harem." the Uchiha answered, narrowing her gaze.
Giving her a studious look Madara gave her a dull look.
"That's not what I meant." he murmured, rolling his eyes as he spoke.
"If I've been engaged to you this entire time then why were you flirting with other women?" Lenore asked, narrowing her gaze.
"I had to keep up my disguise." the Uchiha answered, only making her grunt.
"Likely story, you man-whore." she spoke under her breath.
"Now that you know I can at least make a move on you." he commented, wriggling his fingers up and down her waist.
"Already?" Lenore asked in disbelief, trying to escape as he held her in place.
"Well, I love you, so I can't be expected to remain neutral all of the time." he stated, finally managing to capture her lips into another kiss when she turned to protest.
Seeing her turn several shades of red Madara pulled Lenore against his chest and smirked when she stopped moving and lay against him.
"I love you to." she mumbled under her breath, though he caught what she said and smirked.
"At least we've found some common grounds." he chuckled softly, nipping at her ear until she tried to escape him again.
