The New Naruto

Orochimaru: Huh?
Me: Story Imprisonment Jutsu!
Orochimaru: LordCanine!
Me: Not this time Orochimaru.
(I imprisoned Orochimaru in the story. Now he only comes when I write his part and will have no memory of his actions outside the story.)
Naruto: Shouldn't you still be resting.
Me: Na, I'm good.
Naruto: (sighs) If you say so.
Me: Naruto?
Naruto: Yeah?
Me:... Catch me.
Suddenly, I start to sway and fall to my knees. Naruto zips over to me and catches me before I fall flat on my face.
Naruto: (sigh) Baka.
Chapter 4: Mission To Wave pt. 1
"Bloodhound to squad, are you in position?" Kakashi asks.
"Cherry Blossom to Bloodhound, I'm in position", Sakura replies back.
"This is sunflower, I'm in position", Ino replies.
"Sparrow to Bloodhound, I'm in position", Sasuke states.
"Fox is in position", Naruto says.
"Okay, Team 7 commence retrieval mission. Capture target on site", Kakashi orders.
"Hai", all team members reply.
This team seven's fifth time doing this d-rank mission. Their eleventh time chasing the demon cat Tora. Every time they catch this cat, it attacks Naruto and gets away.
"Found him!", Naruto exclaims suddenly.
He runs out from his spot and runs in front of Tora. Tora comes to a screeching halt and glares at Naruto. The reason Tora doesn't like Naruto is because he holds her like her master does. When he holds her up in the air, Tora thinks he'll start to squeeze her at any second. So she starts to scratch him across the face until he lets her go. There's also the fact that he mistakes her for a boy when she's a girl. That really irritates her.
Naruto stops a few feet from Tora with his hands in the air. He keeps them like that as he slowly approaches her. Tora still glares at him with a suspicious look in her eyes. She even starts to hiss at him, causing him to stop in his tracks a foot away from her. Naruto sighs and starts to slowly approach her again. Again she hisses at him, but he doesn't stop this time. When he's literally three steps away from her he stops and kneels. At the same time the rest of team 7 appear behind Tora. They decide to remain where they are and see how this plays out. Naruto lowers his hands to the ground and leaves them by his sides.
"Look, I know you don't like me", Naruto states.
Tora rolls her cat eyes at him as he states the obvious.
"But I need you to trust me", Naruto tells her.
Tora gives him a look that says, "Why should I?"
"I can help you with the Fire Diamyo's wife. I promise".
Tora stares into Naruto's eyes, searching for any signs o a lie. Not finding any, she knows he's telling her the truth. He stance relaxes and she slowly approaches him. Naruto keeps his eyes locked with Tora's, not backing down. Tora stops in front of Naruto and they stare at each other. It looked like they were having some type of mental conversation. After five minutes of staring at each other, Tora seems to give a tiny nod of her head, before leaping into Naruto's lap. Naruto moves slowly and cradles Tora in his right arm, while scratching behind her ears. Tor purrs at the sensation and close her eyes, content. Naruto sighs in relief, before smiling and slowly standing as to not disturb Tora.
"Good job, Naruto," Kakashi says.
"Thanks," Naruto replies with his famous fox gin.
"So, how do you plan on getting the fire daimyo's wife to listen to you?" Ino asks.
"I'm wondering the same thing," Sakura states.
"I'm going to try and talk to her about how Tora feels. If it's about him, I'm sure she'll understand. If not...I'm not sure what to do, but I'll figure out something else. Either way I plan on keeping my promise."
"Whatever dobe."
"Okay, let's head to the hokage tower and get this over with," Kakashi says.
-Hokage Tower-
"Team 7 reporting in," Kakashi announces.
"Good job Team 7," the Hokage says.
"Tora!" the daimyo's wife exclaims.
She runs toward Naruto, arms out stretched to take Tora from him. Tora, hearing her "master's" voice, leaps out of Naruto's arms and tries to run. Naruto grabs her before she could and holds her tightly against him, while softly petting her to calm her down. Tora looks up at him worriedly, but he gives her soothing smile in return. Sighing mentally, she awaits her fate. As the fire daimyo's wife got closer, Naruto's legs tensed up as if he was getting ready to jump. At the last second, just before she reaches them, Naruto ducks under her arms and rolls away from her. The fire daimyo's wife comes to a skidding halt, spinning to face Naruto.
"Huh?" she asks confused, "Why'd you move?! Give me Tora!"
"We need to talk," Naruto states seriously, "It's about Tora."
"Is she alright?!" she asks in alarm.
"She's fine...wait she?"
"Yes, Tora is a girl."
"That would explain half the scratches she gave me," he thinks.
"Anyway, moving on. You shouldn't squeeze Tora the way you do or hold her up in the air. She doesn't like it."
"Really?!"
"Yes. If you stop, she might stop running away."
"Okay! I'll do it! I promise."
Naruto loos at Tora and Tora looks at Naruto. They nod to each other and Naruto slowly hands Tora over to the fire daimyo's wife. At first, she appeared to be fine and was going to take Naruto's advice. Sadly, that was not the case. She suddenly squeezes Tora very tightly to her chest and runs out of the room. She was fast for a fat women. Everyone just stares blankly at where she stood, sweat drops running down the back of their heads.
"Well...that failed epicly," Ino says, breaking the silence.
"Yup," Sakura says with a sigh.
"Hn," Sasuke replies, uncaringly.
"Well", Sarutobi begins, "let's see if we have another mission for you to take, shall we?"
Team 7 just nod their heads and sigh. They really didn't want to do anymore D-rank missions.
"Let's see...there's cleaning out the dumb, painting a house, helping kids at the academy..."
"Tora!"
"...catching Tora again..."
"No!" Naruto shouts, "No more lame missions! We need something harder, so we can actually test ourselves. Not these chores you call missions."
"Naruto!" Iruka shouts, "You're only a genin. You need more experience before you go out into the field."
"I don't care! I refuse to do anymore lame ass chores for lazy ass people."
"Listen Naruto," Iruka begins.
"Fine," Hiruzen says.
"Hokage-sama..."
"Sarutobi raises his hand, silencing Iruka.
"We do have one mission you could take. It's C-rank, so it shouldn't be too hard for you to do."
"Alright!'
"Send the client in."
The door opened to reveal a dunk old man. Well, half drunk at least. He had half a bottle of saki in his right hand.
"This is the team hired to protect me," Tazuna states, rather than asks, "They look like they'd couldn't hurt a fly or they'd shit themselves at the first signs of danger. Especially, the short one."
Knowing that Tazuna is talking about him, Naruto get a little pissed. "Shut up or I'll kill you," He says glaring at Tazuna and letting some killing intent out at him. (He's sensitive about his height.)
"Now, now Naruto we're suppose to protect the client, not scare him shitless," Kakashi states.
Sighing, Naruto drops the killing intent, but continues to glare at Tazuna.
Tazuna gulps in fear a little bit.
"I assure you..."Kakashi begins.
"Tazuna," Tazuna says.
"Tazuna. I assure you they're stronger than they look. Besides, I'm a jonin. If anything goes wrong, I'll step in and take care of it," Kakashi informs him.
"(sigh) If you say so. My name Tazuna and I expect you to do your best to protect me."
"We will. Team 7, meet at the gate at seven tomorrow. Dismissed."
"Hai!"
-The Next Day-
Team 7 meets at the gate entrance at seven. Sasuke arrived to find Naruto the first one there and, to his surprise, so was Kakashi. Ino and Sakura arrived at the same time. Both arguing about who was their "precious" Sasuke-kun's girlfriend or who would be. Tazuna arrived last, drinking another bottle of saki.
"Now that we're all here, let's get going, shall we?" Kakashi states, more than asks and with that team seven is on their way to what will be their first real mission.
