A Demon's Peerage

~~~ With Meliodas ~~~

Meliodas, Zeldris and Raynare is flew a couple of minutes in the "hole", the transition to Tartarus, when they finally saw a light. As they got out of the transition, they saw red. Everything was red. The sky, the land and even the air

"Now that we finally out here, do you mind explaining why we entered Tartarus?" Raynare asked, slightly annoyed

"Well, I felt a surge of power from here, and then something God planted in my mind popped"

"And what did it said?" asked Zeldris

"That this surge of power came from a human, or in this case, half human. As I already told you, God, along with the information of this era, putted in my mind a list of potential peerage members. This is how I knew about Kuroka's past" he said, as they kept flying in the skies of Tartarus, looking for the source of the power

"So you're saying there is a human here, who is a potential peerage member"

"Yep"

Then, they saw storm clouds forming in front of them

"Well, I think we found him" he said as he looked down to see a young man, with messy black hair, sea-green colored eyes, and a very fit and muscular tanned body, raising his hands, creating the storm. In front of him, was a tall man, with purple glistening flesh, and his face is a swirling whirlpool of darkness

~~~ With Percy ~~~

He created a storm, but it wasn't enough. Tartarus dispelled it with a snap of his fingers

"Do you really think you can control the weather in my world, human?" Tartarus said as he laugh loudly

This was the end. He had reached his limit, and fell to his knees and dropped his sword, with his hands on the ground and his face turned towards the ground. Tartarus (the place not the god), has took its toll on his body, and sucked his life force

"Since you're going to die, let me tell you a good news, and bad news. The good news for you, is that my sons have lost the fight against your friends and the gods. The bad news is that now, you're are going to receive all my frustration and anger, over my sons loss" Tartarus said as a ball of darkness formed in his hand

"Now, you're going to suffer!" Tartarus said as he threw the ball of darkness at Percy. But for Percy it was okay. Yes, maybe he won't be able to see his friends again, but at least they're safe now

The ball of darkness got closer to Percy, as he prepared for contact, as he heard a voice

"Full Counter!"

Percy raised his head, and saw the back of a young man with messy blond hair, and saw the ball of darkness flying back towards Tartarus, bigger than before

"Who are you!?" Tartarus said as he dodged the attack. Then near the blond man, landed a young man with black hair and a woman with long, silky black hair

"I'm just a traveler who likes helping people!" The blond man said in a cheery tone "Now, while I'll help him, can you occupy the whirlpool face guy, Zeldris?"

"Sure, brother" the black haired man said, as he drew his sword

"Zeldris!? The son of the Demon Lord!?" Tartarus gaped "Impossible! All of the high-class demons are supposed to be dead! And if you are his brother, it means you are The Meliodas! The one who defeated The Demon Lord, the creator of the Underworld!"

"Wow… when he says that with so much surprise, it makes it embarrassing…" says the blond man, Meliodas

"Now that you know who we are, are you still want to fight?" asked Zeldris, raising his sword

"Of course not! I wouldn't dare to fight the current Demon lord and his brother" Tartarus said, as he bowed

"The current Demon Lord?" asked the black haired woman

"Well, since I acquired the demon lord's element, and the former Demon Lord is dead, it's only reasonable that I, the Demon Lord's son, will inherit his position" explained Meliodas, as Percy finally lost consciousness

~~~ With Meliodas ~~~

When he saw Percy lose consciousness, Meliodas said "We need to go quickly, before he'll die. Tartarus?"

"Yes, my lord?"

"Can you let us get out safely? We need to go back to the Grigori territory"

"Yes, my lord" Tartarus said, not exactly pleased that Meliodas is taking the human, but knows it's inevitable. He opened a portal, leading to the Grigori territory

"Thank you!" he said with a toothy grin, as he, Zeldris, and Raynare walked through the portal

When they went out of the portal, they were once again, in front of the Grigori main building. As the three of them, with Meliodas carrying Percy on his shoulder, entered the building they saw Azazel, Kuroka, and Tiamat in the reception room

"You're going out for a tour, and coming back with a body?" Azazel asked jokingly, but then he looked and noticed that a little bit of her life force, and looked back at the boy, to see him almost without life force left in his body

"Kuroka, can you heal his body?" he asked as he laid Percy down on the couch

Kuroka scanned him with her senjutsu and answered "I only can heal temporarily nya~~~. He lost too much life force. He'll live a couple of days and die, the only way to truly save him, is to give him a new life force source. In other words, to resuscitate him nya~~~"

"Are you going to resuscitate him?" asked Tiamat

"Only if he wants. So do you want?" he asked as Percy suddenly opened his eyes, to everyone's surprise, except Meliodas

"Resuscitate to a demon? No, thank you. My friends are finally safe, I don't mind dying if they are safe" Percy answered weakly

"And if they aren't?"

"What do you mean? Are you going to hurt them?"

"No no, but if you won't resuscitate, the chances of them to die will be higher" he answered

"What do you mean?"

"There is someone, who wants to unseal a very strong beast that will destroy the world. My job is to stop that man, or to defeat the beast. With you, the chances will be higher snice you're strong, and from what you said, you'll do anything for your friends, right?"

"Yes, I will" Percy said with determination in his eyes

"Then you are like me. I spent 3000 years in order to save my friend (lover). I became the demon lord in order to lift the curse that was on her, even if it meant never seeing her again" he said, his hair shadowing his eyes

"Brother…" Zeldris said as he looked at his brother in sadness

"So join me. Not because of a prophecy or because the gods told you to, but in order to save both of our friends" he said, raising his head with a grin on his face, and reached a hand to Percy

"In order to save my friend… I'll join you" Percy said as he took his hand

"Great!" Meliodas said as he took the cloth bag out, and pulled out a Mutation Pawn

"What are you going to do with this chess piece?" asked a confused Percy

"I'm going to resuscitate with it!" he said with a toothy grin

"How?" asked an even more confused Percy

"This Pawn has a demon life force and I'm going to put it inside you. I use different chess pieces to resuscitate people, and I think you are fit to be a Pawn"

"The weakest piece?"

"No piece is weak. Each piece has its own advantage. The Rook adds physical power, the Knight adds speed, the Bishop adds magic power, and the Queen has all of their powers"

"The only thing a Pawn can do is to promote to other piece when he gets to the end of the board, right?"

"Exactly! In this case, when the King, which is me, decides we are in opponent territory, the Pawn can promote to whichever piece he want, constantly, which is why you'll fit the best as a Pawn! You're not specializing on a skill, you're balanced in your speed, physical and magical power, and when we'll be on an enemy territory, and you'll need a boost in one of them you can promote, and you even can promote to Queen and get a boost in all of them!"

"I see…"

"Great! Now let me put it in your chest…" he said as he slides the piece in to Percy's chest, and two demon wings sprouted out of his back

"So, I was wondering, where did he lost so much life force?" asked Azazel

"Oh, we saved him from the god Tartarus in Tartarus" he said with a carefree smile

"Tartarus!? How did a normal human ended up in Tartarus?" asked Tiamat

"Well. First of all, he isn't a normal human, right Percy?"

"You're right. I'm…"

~~~ Time Skip ~~~

"To think that Gaia did something like that, how it ended?" asked Azazel

"Tartarus said that we won, but I don't know what exactly happened, since I was in Tartarus"

"Well, I think it's time for us to explain some things to you, Percy" he said

~~~ Time Skip ~~~

"So the all of the Bible is true, and God is dead except a part of him in the place that called the dimensional gap?"

"Yep!" he answered with a grin

"So what are we going to do now, Meliodas-San?" asked Percy

"Now? Now, we are going to rest, and from tomorrow practice!" he said "Azazel, have you readied our rooms?"

"Yes I have. Follow me" Azazel answered as he led them to their rooms

~~~ Time Skip ~~~

Two weeks passed since Meliodas arrived to the Grigori territory. In this two weeks, Meliodas trained his peerage to get used to their new powers as demons, and to those who already had them (Zeldris and Gelda) he trained more harshly. He trained Raynare together with them, as she got closer to him, and he became like a second father to her. Vali challenged him a few times to fight with him, and of course, Meliodas had no problems defeating him. He and Azazel hang out a lot. They drank together, teased Raynare together and praised and admired the woman body together. Azazel also helped him learn about his Sacred Gear. He also trained with his new body, in order to get used to it, but now they are going to leave

"Do you really have to leave?" asked Raynare with pleading eyes

"Yep! But don't worry! I'll come visit!" he said with a toothy grin as he patted Raynare on the head

"It was a pleasure to meet you, Meliodas. Next time, it won't that easy" Vali said as he reached his hand to him

"I'll look forward to it!" he said with a grin as he took his hand

"When you'll come back…" Azazel said as he came closer to him and whispered "Bring more girls with you, would you"

**giggle** "Why do you need me to bring girls? You have a lot of girls here"

"But here everyone is the same, I need new kind of bodies to admire!" Azazel said with a determined expression

"I'll see what I can do about it" he said, winking "Tiamat?"

"Yes" Tiamat said as she changed to her dragon form

"Everyone, get on her back"

After everyone got on Tiamat's back, he waved and said "Bye Bye!", as Tiamat rose to the air, and flew away

"Tiamat, can you get out of a different exit than the entrance we came through?"

"Sure, but why?"

"To explore new places of course!" he said with a grin

~~~ Time Skip ~~~

Right now they were flying over the pacific sea. It's been a couple of days since they left the Underworld

"When we'll get to a land nya~~~?" Kuroka said with an annoyed tone, as she laying her head on Meliodas's lap

"I can sense an island close" said Percy

"Then let's land there. Where is it?" he asked

"20 kilometers to the west"

"You heard the guy, Tiamat"

They were flying for a couple of minutes, and finally saw the island

"There it is" stated Percy

"Great. Land there"

After Tiamat landed, everyone got off her back, and she changed back to her human form. The examined the island. There was a lot of trees, and one giant one in the middle of the island (Tenrou Island)

"Now, let's explore!" he said with excitement, as he led everyone into the depths of the forest

They walked a couple of minutes, until they reached a cave, where they sensed a huge magical signature coming from inside of it

"Whatever it is in there, it is incredibly strong" stated Zeldris, with his usual stern expression

"But what can be so strong?" asked Percy, with a nervous expression

"Let's find out!" he said with a grin and then shouted "Hello~~~? Is someone in here~~~?"

"What are you doing!?" said a pissed Zeldris

"As carefree as always…" said Tiamat, sweatdropping

Then they heard steps, but not step of a monster, but steps of a human

"It depends on who is asking" said a figure who came out of the cave. The figure wear a large, tattered, dark cloak with a hoody, covering it face. It also had a scale-patterned scarf wrapped around his neck

"I'm Meliodas, nice to meet you" he said as he reached a hand towards the figure

"Meliodas huh? Is it just a coincidence? Or you're related to him?" asked the figure

"Related to who?"

"Long time ago, there was someone else called Meliodas, and he was one of the strongest beings in this world, and a hero who saved the world, and slayed the Demon Lord"

"I'm not related to him, I am him"

The figure was silent for a few seconds and then…

"Ha ha ha! You're him huh? Then I guess there is someone here, since you're the one who asking" the figure laughed and removed the cloak, revealing a slightly tanned young man, with spiky pink hair, black eyes, sleeveless, gold trimmed, black waistcoat, often left open and untucked, exposing his bare chest, a gold trimmed, black cloth around his waist that reaches his knees

"I know you… or at least the list in my mind knows… you're Natsu Dragneel, the Dragon King!"

"You know me?" asked a surprised Natsu

"Dragon King?" asked a confused Tiamat

"Well, it is more correct to say Dragon King Slayer"

"I guess you're right, since I never became an official Dragon King"

"Personally, I think it is more suspicious that you know my brother, than that he knows you, since he was claimed dead 4000 years ago" said Zeldris with a suspicious look

"I guess you're right. Meliodas, don't you recognize this island?" asked Natsu, with an amused look on his face. Meliodas started to look around, then he realized, and grinned

"I can't believe it, isn't this island supposed to be in the sky"

"When the celestials extinct, the islands lost their magic and fell of the sky. Apparently, after you and the Seven Deadly Sins helped them, they added you to the ceiling painting along with Solaad, as the heroes who prevented the Time of Destruction

"What is he talking about?" asked Zeldris

"Me and the rest of the sins, helped the celestials, descendants of the Goddess Clan, in their fight against The Six Knights of Black, and an Indura, who they released"

"The Six Knights of Black? The group who led by Bellion, the one who you didn't accepted to the Ten Commandments?" asked Gelda

"The very same one"

"So, what are you guys doing here?" asked Natsu

"We are resting here, mainly Tiamat, from the flight we had, but now, I have another objective"

"And what is it?" asked a curious and amused Natsu

"From the information I have about you, you are a battle maniac, right?"

"I won't call it like that, but I admit that I enjoy fighting strong people, as long it isn't a life and death situation" Natsu said, shrugging his shoulders

"So what do you say on a little challenge? And if I win, you'll join my peerage"

"Sure, but what happens if I win?"

"It's up to you"

Natsu considered the challenge for a few minutes, and said "Sure, but I think we should do it elsewhere"

"Sure!"

Natsu led Meliodas, with his peerage following them, to a large clearing

"We can fight here"

"Great! Guys, step back, it'll become hectic pretty soon. Zeldris, would you be the judge?"

"Okay. On my count" Zeldris said as both got to fighting stances

"Three, two, one…go!"

As the battle started, Natsu dashed forward, flames in his hands, and tried to punch Meliodas in face, who dodged and sent a punch of his own towards Natsu abdomen, only for Natsu to catch his wrist, and threw him, crushing him into a tree

Meliodas got up, only for Natsu to punch him in the abdomen, and he fell to his knees

"I expected more…" Natsu said as he raised his leg to kick him, he dodged in time from a punch which came from behind him, only to get punched in the face, making him flying a few meters back. Natsu raised his head and was surprised to see two Meliodas in front of him, and the one who fell to the floor, disappeared

"Surprised? My Sacred Gear allows me to create illusion of myself, using the power of dreams"

"Sacred Gear? It looks you're even stronger then you were 4000 years ago. But I warn you…" Natsu said, as all of his body got coated in flames "If you won't take it seriously, I'm going to win!" he said and then… "Fire Dragon King's Roar!"

Meliodas formed his sword and swinged it "Full Counter!"

Natsu's roar flew back at him, and hitted him, only to reveal him, unharmed

"I can't eat my own flames, but flames still can't harm me"

"Really? Then in this fight, my Full Counter won't work…"

"Fire Dragon King's Brilliant Flame!" Natsu sent a huge blast of fire towards Meliodas, who dodged, but Natsu appeared next to him, in amazing speed and said "Crimson Lotus: Fire Dragon's Fist!", rapidly punching Meliodas, who dodged most of the punches, but still got some damage, and in the last punch Natsu sent Meliodas flying and crushing into a wall

"This will end it!"

"Lightning Fire Dragon Mode!"

Natsu's body coated with flames, enhanced with lightning "Lightning Fire Dragon's Roar!" and sent a huge roar of flames and lightning on Meliodas, again, he suddenly dodged a sword swing from behind, only to get kicked in the gut and sent flying to the same wall Meliodas crushed into

"Hi hi hi, you fell for it again"

"Think twice" Natsu said as he reappeared behind Meliodas and sent a punch coated in flames, which Meliodas blocked with the sword, and the two jumped backwards

["Do not get the sword punched again. His Dragon-slaying attack will break it, since it has my dragonic attributes"]

'Then it means I shouldn't use Balance Breaker too'

["That's right"]

'Which means I have to use it' he thought as the sword turned back to be a bracelet

"Let's end it" he said as his eyes turned black-purple, and a the black symbol of the Demon Clan appeared on his forehead

"You're right" Natsu said as and then shouted "Dragon Force!", and rushed towards Meliodas and tried to punch him, only for Meliodas to catch his fist, and crushed it with his bare hand, making Natsu wince in pain, and to send a kick to his head, which Meliodas, who still held Natsu's fist, dodged with a tilt of his head and lifted Natsu to the air and smashed him onto the floor rapidly, and threw him into a tree with an explosion

When the smoke cleared, it revealed Natsu wounded all over his body, with the fingers of his right hand (the hand Meliodas crushed) broken badly

"You destroyed my right hand. I guess that even Dragon Force can't defeat a true demon. All my life, I learned that there are two ways to truly defeat a demon. To have the power of the Goddess Clan, or… to become a demon yourself" Natsu said as dark flames engulfed his body "Etherious Form!"

When the flames disappeared, Natsu had paws of a dragon (both his hands and legs), his teeth extended, scales appeared all over his face, two horns sprouted out of his head, and a pair of dragon wings sprouted out of his back

Natsu disappeared from Meliodas's sight and reappeared behind him, holding the right arm of Meliodas in his hand, as Meliodas fell to one knee, holding with his other arm at the place of his missing arm

Natsu then continued his attack and sent a kick in devastating speed and power to his head, sent him flying and destroying a bunch of trees

"You're strong. Very strong" he said as he stood up

(Surrender. You have no chance) said Natsu with demonic voice

An evil grin appeared on Meliodas's face as he changed. He had now, a vest-like coat that only covers his armpits, which flared out at ragged ends, and has a very high collar which is spread wide. Meliodas also has two wrist bands, made up off the same dark matter as the rest of his clothes. His pants are connected to his feet and has a look similar to a bird's feet except it has five toes (basically, he entered his Assault Mode)

'This battle is over…' thought Zeldris

"The battle only started, fake demon" he said with an evil smirk

(We'll see about that) Natsu said as he reappeared again in front of Meliodas and sent a punch to his chest. He's eyes then shot wide open as he saw that Meliodas didn't even flinched, then he felt the immense pain of Meliodas punch to his gut, and fell to his knees

Meliodas then put his leg on the back of his head and said "Did you really thought that a sad copy of a demon like you could hurt me, The Demon Lord? Don't get all high and mighty just because you defeated a sorry excuse of a dragon" he said as he lifted him by his horn, and threw him to the sky, as his wings sprouted from his back, and he flew with immense speed to be above Natsu, and kicked him in the face, sending him flying to the ground, making a big crater

He then, landed near Natsu and crouched to look in his eyes "Surrender and you won't feel more pain than you need. Since you can't seem to be able to move your body, blink twice if you surrender"

Natsu blinked twice, and as Zeldris announced the end of the duel, Meliodas's clothes and body returned to normal, his eyes returned to their emerald color, and the symbol disappeared from his forehead, while Natsu's body returned to normal too

"Kuroka, Percy (for ones who don't know, Percy do have some healing skills) heal him please"

"Of course!" both said as they rushed to Natsu and begin to heal him

"As expected from Meliodas" Gelda said as she came over to him

"Though I can't believe he made you use your Assault Mode" Zeldris said with surprised tone

"Yes, he is extremely strong and I couldn't use my Sacred Gear, since his Dragon-Slaying magic would have destroy it since it uses dragon's magic"

"It was a magnificent performance, my King" said Tiamat said as she wrapped her arms around his neck from behind him, pushing her chest onto his back

"Thank you Tiamat" he said as he gently moved her arms

"What the hell was that?" asked Percy as he finished his part with Natsu

"Hi hi hi, it was amazing, right?" he said with a toothy grin

"Of course it was, but your personality changed big time!"

"I actually found it tempting nya~~~ the way he demonstrated his power like that~~~" Kuroka said as she came closer to Meliodas, and draw circles on his chest with her fingers

"I don't really proud in that, but it was my personality a lot of time ago" he said while scratching the back of his head

"Still, it had devastating power to it" They turned around to see Natsu sitting up

"Now, let's make you a part of my peerage too!" Meliodas said as he pulled out of the cloth bag a Mutation Rook

"Sure, but I want an explanation after you finish"

"I'll give you one after I'll rest a bit. You did quiet a damage on me too" he said as he inserted the piece into Natsu, and two pair of wings sprouted out of his back. His END wings, and a new pair of black-purple demon wings

"Welcome to the family!" he said with a grin as he reach a hand to him

"Glad to join" Natsu said with a gentle smile as he held Meliodas hand
