This place looked more and less like the X-men everywhere Aero looked. He was surrounded by shape shifting young boys and girls. One of them was a bat anima flying over him with a ring in her talons. She was part of an obstacle for speed. He saw a bear anima lift a piece of furniture weighing over three hundred pounds. The third anima he saw was a chameleon anima disappeared as he camouflaged with the wall. All these anima recruits possessed amazing technique and attributes, skills, and strength. Charlie didn't even know what his powers were.
It took some time, a lot of questioning from strange people, but he finally found the Boys Carnivores' cabin. Aero still couldn't believe the boy he was sitting next to, who looked like nothing more than a older recruit, was actually the cabin counsellor. There was a soulless joke about him being a ginger, but that was beneath Aero. Aero opened the door and walked inside. The cabin was crammed with bunk beds, had a second room with a four-legged table, and pictures drawn by three to five year olds. Kamile was in the middle talking to the other recruits.
" Dinner takes place at 7:30 in the mess hall. If you have any valuables send a letter to the office about your address and the valuables you need to pick up and we will send a professional to pick them up. Getting your equipment can be anywhere from weeks to months depending on your address, but our crew work very hard to ensure your safety and your happiness. Lights out is at eleven o' clock and don't chow at us about it being too early or too late. You can wear any clothes from skulls to shirts with blood, but it has to be in your cabin otherwise you wear the training clothes we pick out for you."
" What's sup." Kamile took notice of Aero's presence. Aero was blushing red with anger. " You are the man in charge of this cabin?"
" Yes."
" What are you doing?"
" Helping new recruits."
" Helping new recruits? You're the damn counsellor. When were you going to tell me?"
" You never asked. If you're wondering how I became a counsellor for a cabin filled with carnivores in a top secret military base for hybrid chimeras, my guidance counselor had a strange sense of humor."
" I came here just to talk to you. I don't know what my anima is. Now I'll be leaving."
" Wait." Aero stopped on Kamile's command. Kamile pressed two fingers in two parts of Aero's brain. The first one was over Aero's eyebrows and the second he placed under his nose. Aero felt something come out of Kamile's fingertips. Aero was blind for a minute as the shade of Kamile's eyes changed: purple, black, topaz, and gold. Kamile stopped at gold, feeling the inner animal inside Aero. " Carnivore. This is where you belong." Kamile's eyes returned to their original color. Aero was stunned by Kamile's unworldly powers. " Find your bed."
Kamile didn't scare him. Aero could take his scrawny ass down with one hand behind his back, and he didn't even have to know what anima he was to take him down. Aero scoffed than searched for his bed. It was hard for him to find a bed with all the other carnivores sleeping in their fine mattresses and comfy pillows. Aero even saw two boys with red and purple caps playing on handheld LED gaming devices. One looked like a scout tying a rope. Some were tall, small, and obese. On this day Aero would chose his bed, and he would sleep on it for as long as he was living here. Aero finally found the free bed.
" Good-bye my old bed hello new bed."
Aero climbed into his bed. He was crouched on top of his bed when someone grabbed his leg and pulled him off. Aero was thrown out of the bed by a kid who was strong and mean. His eyes looked at him the way only snakes could.
" This is my bed!" The kid yelled. " Lay off!"
" I was here first!" Aero yelled back.
" No you weren't!" The boy yelled.
" Yes I was!" Aero shouted as he lost his temper.
" No you weren't!" The boy repeated.
" Yes I was!" Aero repeated.
Kamile noticed this fighting. They were chewing at each other the same way kids complained about people stepping on their toys, cheating in card games, and eating other people's chocolate treats. The only way to end it and save everyone the trouble of watching them bicker endlessly was if a mature adult interrupted them—Kamile could fit the part.
" Both of you, quit it." The mean boy saluted Kamile when he addressed him. Aero didn't as he didn't respect Kamile the same way this boy did. " If you two want to dish this thing out do it where no one can hear you. Outside! You can fight each other outside."
" But..." Aero interjected, Kamile looked at him with sharp eyes.
" Clean out your ears and listen to me again. You can fight to the end of your lives if that means it will settle this dispute."
" Sounds good to me," the scary looking kid said. " I will fight anyone at any time."
" What about you, Aero?" Kamile asked.
" I can fight this guy and I can win."

Kamile led Aero and the scary looking boy out of the cabin to the spot where they would fight. Kamile took them to the front door where everyone in the carnivore cabin could observe their fight. Aero and the scary boy started the fight doing stretches, warming up, and practice their punches meant for the other. Kamile shook his head thinking about how bad things happen in carnivore cabin.
" Some people will always behave like animals. It's insulting to animals and it's insulting to anima's."
