o.O.o
You look so perfect standing there
In my American Apparel underwear
And I know now, that I'm so down
I made a mixtape straight out of '94
I've got your ripped skinny jeans lying on the floor
And I know now, that I'm so down
Loud music blared, and it was even worse with the crowd of most likely drunk teenagers singing along with whatever song was being played. Clary stared at her surroundings.
Aside from the crowds of drunk teenagers, she recognized she was in her school gym. Balloons stood in the corners, and shimmering multi coloured lights shone down upon everyone; accentuating the sweat stuck to their skin.
A small voice blared in her head. Oh yeah. She was at the dance. And she was looking for…
She found Jace; adorned in a black suit, flaunting around other girls.
Until his irresistible golden eyes were lain upon her. His eyes raked her body, nodding the slightest approval of her attire. Glancing down, she noted the skin tight emerald green dress that was stuck to her body. Since she had no sense of time, she searched for that atrocious gym clock. Only 10:00 pm.
10 o'clock and everyone's already this sweaty? Doesn't the dance start at 9:30?
She stared back, remembering Jace, and smiled.
"Hey Clare. Care to dance?" He said, a lusty tone lacing his voice, dragging her to the dance floor with every word. And of course, it only took one dance to completely hypnotize her, to dance the night away. Literally.
The night flew away like moments; after what seemed to be 5 minutes of dancing, the party was over.
She looked at the monstrous black and white face once again. 1:50 am.
She looked to Jace, feeling quite suspicious about this whole night.
"I should get you home, shouldn't I?" He said, his same seductive tone from before.
Not waiting for a response, he wrapped an arm around her waist, tugging her outside into the frosty air.
Then he froze; not daring to move another step.
Feeling a warmth, she looked up, and was immediately confronted with a chest. The chest that belonged to a stunning pale blonde boy, with deep dark eyes. Dark chocolate brown eyes she guessed.
No one can have black eyes.
He grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckles in a Victorian manner. "Hello, beautiful." He remarked, his words, rolling off of his tongue like silver.
Clary blushed hard.
She could hear Jace's voice slowly slipping away, but was too mesmerized to notice.
Clary? Clary!
She stared into the boy's eyes as he pulled her close, his arms, wrapping delicately draping around her waist.
"Until the dance, my love." He said, a warm smile grazing his lips. He leaned in closer, as if he was going for a kiss. Clary would have let him too. He was gorgeous.
He stopped, his lips just barely touching hers. "You should probably wake up."
He smirked, a mischievous expression that would make the Devil proud. He chuckled lowly as her face twisted with confusion.
She stood, stunned as his hands wound in her hair, almost soothing her; until darkness slithered into her mind, and her fantasy world went blank.
o.O.o
Clary looked up, startled; her head soon, colliding with the floor. She quickly stood up and reassured her surroundings.
Definitely my room.
Her eyes darted around the room, searching for the clock. 1:52 am.
Shaking off her uneasy feeling, she stalked into the bathroom, in search of a nice hot shower.
She remembered picking a ride home with her sister. And of course she remembered Jace and his brother, Alec, almost rear ending them. She laughed silently at the memory, stopping in front of the sink.
She splashed cold water on her face, in hopes of cooling her body from this cold sweat. Whipping her face back up, she wiped the towel down her face. She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror, and gasped. Dropping the towel, she leaned in closer to look at her eyes.
She swore they had just flashed a black colour.
No one can have black eyes.
Remembering the pale haired boy from her dreams she flew into a minor state of panic. Reassuring her eyes were her normal bright green, she turned on the shower, and began to strip.
Stepping into the shower, she began to scrub her body, pausing momentarily whenever she closed her eyes, for behind her lids was the smirk that belonged to the fair haired boy.
These days felt like they were going on repeat over and over. Funny to think she had only started school three days ago.
By the time she finished her shower, changed her clothes, did her makeup, made her hair look manageable, packed her bag and finished her art assignment it was already 7am.
And of course, it was never a dull moment living with her sister.
Izzy burst into her room, half naked, with matted hair, smudged make up, and a crazy look in her eye. She proceeded to sit down on her sisters bed.
Iz played with a lock of Clary's hair, looking as if she were in a dazed state.
"Tell me all of your secrets on how you get ready so fast."
Clary smirked, stalking over to her closet. "Set and alarm and wake up early."
"Early? No such thing exists." Iz said yawning; stretching her arms above her head to catch the dress her sister had thrown at her.
"Now get your ass in and out of that bathroom, looking like Izzy in five minutes, or I am throwing hot coffee at you." She said in a demanding tone, slight playfulness tugging at her voice.
She smiled "There's my grumpy little sister." Isabelle said, groaning as she lazily walked into the bathroom.
The morning went fast. Their mom wasn't home for breakfast, but they knew they had to leave for school in an 'appropriate manner" as Maryse would say.
Hopping into the passenger seat, her and her sister took off; it felt like only ten minutes worth of driving flew away like nothing.
She was still 'resisting' Jace, and actually ignored him as she walked to her friends.
However, her social time was short lived as the warning bell rang. She ran to her locker, pushing past other students. Reaching her locker, and checking it was the right one, she proceeded to fumble with the lock. Getting obviously frustrated, she started running her fingers through her hair, a bad habit of hers, or so told.
"Need some help?"
o.O.o
The look on her face made Jace smile. "Here, Clare, let me do that."
He turned the dial, manipulating it under his hands, as he put in the locker combination he had witnessed her punch in over and over in the last three days. The door sprung open with a satisfying click.
She gasped at the privacy infiltration, but quickly went to work.
"Do you always have to follow me?" She said, a half annoyed tone.
"Yes, don't want my innocent little Clare bear getting hurt." He said in a fake sentimental tone.
She looked at him, rolling her eyes.
"If you knew me at my old school you would know I am no innocent person." She mumbled.
His smile turned into a smirk. "What are you doing tonight?" He asked in a mysterious tone.
She looked up at him, "Nothing, why?"
He put his hands on her hips, "I want you to come to a party with me."
By this point, he noticed she didn't care about the other girls giving her angry looks.
She nodded, replicating his smirk. "Sure, I love parties."
He cocked a brow. "You? Miss Innocent? Likes to party?"
"Hey, I can be," She paused, pulling him closer. "Quite entertaining." She said in a smooth seductive tone.
She pushed him back and slammed her locker shut.
"I am totally winning this bet." She said in a sing song voice, as she trotted off to her first class.
He totally wasn't staring at her ass or anything.
Awhhhhhh, we all know he was staring at her ass XD Anyways, if you enjoyed this, I have many more on my profile, and don't forget to favourite, review, and follow if you liked this, and would love to see more. That's all for me, so (as always) I will talk to you in the next chapter. Bye!
