Danny is doing paperwork in his office when Chin, Kono, and Steve walk in. Danny could almost say they look a little nervous, well Chin and Kono look nervous, Steve has a poker face on.
"What's up?"
"We wanted to ask you something?" Kono starts. "We have been a team for a year now, and we were wondering, or more like me and Chin since Steve will have a new title soon. While I'm on the subject, I can't believe you still haven't made it official to me and Chin that you two are an item." She sends a light glare to Danny.
"Please like you didn't know the moment Steve and I walked in that morning." Danny rolls his eyes.
"I am surprised you haven't said anything sooner, I mean it has been weeks." Steve comments.
"Chin said I have to wait for you two to tell me before interrogating you." She sighs.
"We are getting off topic. You wanted to ask me something?" Danny cuts in.
"We wanted to know what your opinion on having a pack is." Chin decides to step in.
Danny didn't expect that question. "What?"
"We were wondering if you would consider taking us as your pack." Kono smiles shyly.
Danny narrows his eyes. "Did you guys actually thought about this or did you just get an idea over coffee and decide to ask?"
"We thought about it."
Danny sighs and gets up from his chair, he moves around the desk and leans on it so he is closer to them and it is easier to look them in the eyes. "If that is true, what are the thoughts of Malia and your boyfriend?"
"I don't have a boyfriend anymore," Kono says like she wasn't crazy about him just last week.
"Why is that?" Danny looks at her.
She looks away. "It doesn't matter."
"Okay, then we will talk about 'why' later." When Kono tries to get out of it, Danny cuts her off. "That is not up for a discussion."
He then looks at Chin. "How about you?"
"I told Malia and she doesn't mind. Actually, she is happy with my decision and asked me why we never asked you before now." Chin smiles.
"Steve?"
Steve moves to Danny's side and gives him a light kiss. "I think I was yours since the day we met in my backyard." He gives him another kiss. "Now stop torturing them. We all know we have been a pack probably for months now. We just have to make it official."
Danny laughs. "That is true. Okay, I accept."
Kono jumps and gives him a hug. "I will organize everything for the run this weekend."
"Sure. Chin, one more thing, I know that Malia is human, but talk to her if she wants to be an official member of the pack." Danny gives Chin a smile.
Chin blinks for a second and gives him a huge smile. "Yes, she would love to." Since Malia is human she won't really feel the pack's bond, unless she and Chin completely mate, and even then it won't be a strong bond, however, she will be considered as a pack mate and have the protection of the pack's alpha, which in today's world could be very valuable.
"Okay, we can do it after the run. However, talk to her first anyway. I will also talk to her beforehand."
After Chin gives Danny a nod, he and Kono are about to leave, however, Kono is stopped by Danny. "You young lady haven't explained something to me yet."
"Danny." She whines.
"No, not gonna work. You were happy so what happened?"
Kono sits on Danny's sofa and Steve decides to leave this to Danny, so he quietly exits the office.
"Apparently he only dated me because I work for Five-0 and with you." She replies while looking at her hands on her lap.
"He what?" Danny was pissed. "Give me his address, if he wanted to meet me so badly lets grand him his final wish."
"That's not necessary, but thank you."
He gives her a kiss on her cheek. "I'm sorry."
"You have nothing to be sorry for. He was a jerk. Luckily I found out before granting his wish about meeting you all." She gives Danny a grin and they both laugh.
"Don't worry, there is someone out there just for you." Danny smiles tenderly.
"Thanks, Danny." She smiles back and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
On Saturday morning they meet in front of the Reserve for their run and pack bonding. Danny changes first. Afterward, they all change after him; he gets a good look at his new pack. Kono is light brown and has a body that is made for speed. Chin is a little bigger than her and darker brown. The surprising one was Steve. Danny had his suspicions, which turned out to be correct. However, this is the first time they will be together in their wolf forms. Anyone would expect that Steve would be a pureblood of some sort. This was Steve they are talking about, so of course, he couldn't be just any normal wolf, yet seeing him in his black fur and orange eyes Danny couldn't look away. Steve is the most beautiful wolf he ever saw and Danny couldn't stop thinking how much it suits him.
Chin and Kono notice how Danny and Steve can't look away from each other, so they make themselves comfortable while they wait, or Chin makes himself comfortable while Kono act's as a hyperactive puppy.
Danny can't stop thinking about how much he just wants' to go towards Steve and make him his mate before someone steals him. That thought brings him to the present because it's too soon for an official mating, right? Right.
He looks at Chin and Kono, he lays down while she waves her tail like a puppy, he gestures them to come closer. When all three wolves are sitting in front of him, he lets go and shows his dominance in full power and forces them to submit, which they do without fighting since they wished for this and soon Danny has three wolves showing their neck's and bellies to him. He nuzzles all of them showing that he accepts their submission and invites them for a run.
While running they all can feel the bond forming, connecting them to each other, making them a true pack.

Yes! The pack is finally together and the wolves are revealed. Let's be honest, considering this is a McDanno fiction, what other type of wolf could Steve possibly be... Or maybe it's just obvious to me. If that is the case, surprise!
