IMPORTANT AUTHOR'S NOTE:
I'm sorry for all of you who thought it was another chapter, I just wanted to take a minute to answer to the guest who said he/she's not going to read it anymore cause it took too long for the next chapter. If you're reading this; know I'm really, really, really sorry about this and really feel awful about how long it's taking to update some of the stories :( I'm really, really sorry you'll stop reading this story because of it.
I just wanted to say I don't make you guys wait long on purpose or because I'm too lazy.
1) Thing is, as much as I ADORE making stories in my mind and I love writing and sharing them with other people, I also have a lot of things going on (family, friends, big project, horse riding, dancing class...). And, like some of you already knew, I have 2 horses to take care of and I took one of them in competition all summer long. Meaning, that for over 4 months, I trained 2-3 nights every week straight after work plus 12 to 15 hours/day, for two days, on competition ground during the week we actually had a competition.
2) Like some of you already know, English isn't my first language. So, it takes me 2-3 times (or more) to write a normal chapter in English than for one in French. Sometimes it's cause I'm limited in the vocabulary and need to do long research or delete and re-do a whole paragraph to work around the problem. I also spent a lot of time and efforts to vary the words I'm using, which isn't easy. Plus, I double and triple check every single sentence to try and find all the mistakes I can. I could and did for a while used Beta, but they're adding weeks or months to my writing schedule :S :S :S So, yeah, for chapters of 3 000 words like Wounds of the Spirit, 5 to 10 hours is what it's taking from starting the chapter to publish it.
3) I actually had the 3rd chapter for this story, Reckless Hero, ready by monday, but I chose (and posted on my writing account) to delay that because it just felt wrong posting a story involving gun violence the day after what happened in las Vegas.
All of that being say, I still do feel awful about the time it's taking me and I hope you can understand and forgive me for it :( I swear the drafts for the last remaining chapters of this story are done. I need to do a lot of editing, but they should be ready very very soon. Or, at least, WAY sooner than this one.
Thanks to every single one of you who stick with me despite all of this and who support me.
