I woke up the next day as the sun streamed into my room. I looked at the clock that was on the night stand and saw it was 3:30 in the afternoon. Great, I thought as I got up. I changed my clothes, put my hair up and went down to the parlor where Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy, Stefan, and Damon talking. "Just in time your part of the plan" Damon slurred. "Plan for what?" I asked falling onto the couch. "We're going to kill Katherine" Caroline said happily.
I smiled at her we were getting closer ever sense I told her my story. "How can I help?" I asked. I listened as Damon told me what I am supposed to do.
"Sorry I'm late" a man said walking in when Damon finished. "Rick you know what your supposed to do" Stefan said from next to the fireplace. "I will keep Elena at home" the man, Rick, said.
After we all separated it was time to get ready. I showered and changed into my dress and slipped on my shoes. I grabbed my mask and headed down stairs, where Damon and Stefan were waiting for me in their tux's. "Ready?" I asked walking down the stairway. "Are you, Damon?" Stefan asked putting his hands behind his back. "Of course I am" Damon said shrugging. "You did spend over a century loving for her" I said as we walked out the door. "I wont hesitate" Damon said slamming the door closed to make it sound more final.
I tied my mask on as I walked up to the Lockwood's house looking almost the same as it did so many years ago. "Hello Damon, Stefan and who is this?" a lady with dark brown hair and cold brown eyes said. "I'm Calla, Stefan and Damon's cousin" I said shaking her hand. "Welcome to Mystic Falls calla please come in all of you" she said and gestured us to come in. "You know your part?" Stefan whispered into my ear and I nodded as I watched Bonnie and Jeremy go up stairs.
All three of us separated to do our part. I wondered around the large house passing masks of all shapes and sizes.
After about half an hour I started to get worried what if something happened what if she found out? As I thought these things my phone rang in my hand. I looked at it and read the text from Jeremy you're up. I took a deep breath and listened deeply trying to find where Katherine was "Why is Jeremy Gilbert trying to get me out to the lake?" she said and I herd Caroline whimper, good.
I followed the direction of the voice and found Katherine holding Caroline by her neck. "You wont get anything out of her" I said as I waltzed up to them, my heels echoed in the empty halls. "So you are the infamous Kathrine that I have herd so much about" I said narrowing my eyes as I studied her. She really did look exactly like Elena or more like Elena looked exactly like Katherine.
She set down Caroline and turned toward me as Caroline held her throat choking on air. "And you are Calla Salvatore. I like to know what vampires are in town especially when they are a Salvatore. I've herd a lot about your past, your reputation" she slurred as we circled each other like lions. "You want to know what Damon and Stefan's plans are?" I asked knowing the answer. "Why are they trying to get me to go down to the lake?" she snapped at me. "They want to kill you there" I said narrowing my eyes again.
"Calla!" Caroline shouted from the floor. "Why would you tell me their plan?" she asked as we stood still. "If you know so much about me then you know I'm protective over my family, so here's the deal I give you the moon stone and in return you don't kill anymore people and you leave Mystic Falls and never look back" I offered. "You know where the moonstone is?" she asked crossing her arms. "Yes it's here on the Lockwood property" I said sticking my chin up in confidence. "Okay deal. Now where is it?" she asked with hate in her voice. "Up stairs with Bonnie" I said. "How can you sell us out?" Caroline shrieked now standing behind me.
"I know what's best for my family" I snapped her. Katherine suddenly grabbed Caroline's hair and pulled it. "Show me where it is" she said and I nodded. I walked up stairs and up to a closed door. "It's in there" I said opening the two sliding doors. "Get it" Katherine hissed letting Caroline's hair go. "Gladly" I said with an evil smile.
As I took a step in the door I grabbed both of Katherine's arms and threw her in the room with me. I smirked at her as she got up from the couch and darted for the door. But suddenly stopped as if she ran into a wall. Caroline was laughing from the other side as Stefan stepped into view behind the couch.
"You really think you can kill me with that?" Katherine smirked looking at the wooden stake that Stefan held in his hand. I dropped down onto the single seat chair and smirked. "No" Stefan said slyly "but he can" I looked over to the closet where Damon came out with a cross bow and shot a stake into Katherine's back.
Katherine screamed as she reached back to take out the stake. I picked up a stake that was hidden in a drawer and threw it from where I sat hitting her upper arm. I stood up and as we were closing in on her Jeremy ran to the door. "Stop!" he yelled out of breath and we all looked at him, "everything your doing to her is hurting Elena" he panted. Katherine made a hmp sound as she pulled out the stake I had thrown at her. "You guys aren't the only ones with a witch on your side" Katherine said falling onto the couch.
"Jeremy make sure Elena is okay" Stefan said as I sat back down on the seat. Jeremy ran off as I stared at Kathrine. Damon was at the doorway trying to get out and Stefan was pacing back and forth behind the couch. "Well isn't this familiar the brother that didn't love me enough and the brother that loved me too much" Katherine slurred. "And the psychotic vampire who only loved herself" Damon said from the door.
"No guy likes a girl who puts themselves on a pedestal" I said rolling my eyes at her. "Speaking about guys how is Kol? Did he ever come back?" Katherine purred. My anger shot to the sky as I pinned her toward the wall. "What do you know about Kol?" I hissed with my teeth clenched. "Who do you think told Klaus where he was?" Katherine said as I pushed her into the wall harder.
"You told Klaus?" I hissed in her face. Katherine tried to wiggle out beneath me but I just grasped her harder. "I am older then you, and can kill you so easily" I whispered with a deathly calm. "Do it then their precious Elena will be gone too" Katherine said with a twisted grin showing her shiny white teeth.
"The second Bonnie breaks the spell this steak is going through your heart" I whispered holding the stake to her neck. I then grabbed her and threw her against the couch and went back to my seat. I have never wanted to stake anyone more then now.
"I told you I would get it" I turned my head to see a slim women with dark tanned skin walk in, she held the moon stone in her hand. "Now when I give this to you my dept is repaid? I owe you nothing" he said and Katherine nodded sticking her hand out. The second Katherine touched the stone she started to choke on the air.
I walked over to the now unconscious Katherine, "the spell has been lifted, and I am sorry for my involvement" the witch said and walked away. I looked back to Stefan while Damon picked up Katherine's body. "I'll take care of this" he said and walked away.
Since Demon left with Katherine and Stefan went to see if Elena was okay I decided to walk back to the boarding house. When I was about half way back I was able to see my breath in the night. An old pick up truck stopped next to me.
"Hey your Stefan's cousin right?" a blonde haired boy said getting out of the truck. "Yeah I'm Calla" I said with a smile. "Matt. Do you want a ride it's getting pretty cold out" he said kindly. "Thanks I would love one" I said and thanked him when he opened the passenger door for me.
"So where are you staying?" he asked when we were on the road. "At the Salvatore boarding house do you know where it is?" I asked and stopped when I smelled blood. I looked down into one of the cup holders and found a tissue covered in blood. "Yeah I've been there before. Oh sorry I had some trouble earlier" he said when he saw I was starring at the tissues. "Oh? Are you okay?" I asked tearing my eyes away.
"Yeah it was really weird though I guess I blacked out the last thing I remember is saying hi to Elena then next thing I knew I'm waking up in my truck with a bloody nose" he said looking at the road thinking hard trying to remember what had happened. "That is strange" I said looking out the window.
"Thanks for the ride" I said as I stepped out of his old pick up truck. "Night" I said as he drove off. I went into the boarding house and changed into jeans, a tank top, a leather jacket, and my boots. I laid my dress out on my bed and swung my backpack over my shoulder. "Leaving so soon?" Damon asked leaning against my door frame.
"Yes, I came to help you get Katherine now I have some things to take of" I said trying to walk past him. "This wouldn't have to do with this so called Kol would it?" he asked and I froze in the middle of the hall. "No it has to do with a certain werewolf" I said and continued walking. "Hey" he said making me stop again. I turned around to find him a few steps behind me.
"Next time don't wait for a problem to come" he said. I took a step filling in the gap in between us and wrapped my arms around him. I felt him arms wrap around me tight hug, "I won't" I said and started walking away again. I stopped at the top of the stairs and looked back to him, "tell Stefan I said bye and I'll be back soon" I said and walked out the door. I felt sad leaving them but I had to take care of this.
