A/N: Yes, yes, I know, this is an insanely short chapter, and it's been utterly forever since I had updated this story, and I do apoligize. Over the last few weeks I have been adding much to the story, though I still need to work on quite a bit of it! Please forgive me! I should be uploading another chapter sometime tonight! Please R&R!

Chapter Four

"But dad, do we really have to go to that place? You know how me and Scorpius are when we get together. McGonagall sends you at least one owl a week for my behavior in Hogwarts because of him." James complained as his father put his coat on himself.

"Yes. You're going and that's final, James. You know Scorpius is one of Albus's best friends. Stop treating him so harshly. He's a nice kid." Harry answered with a hint of finality as he grabbed a handful of Floo Powder off of the fireplace and threw it into the fire.

"Ginny, dear, do you want to go first with the boys? I'll take Lily with me." Harry asked, looking over at his wife who was smiling at the bickering. She nodded and handed Lily over to her husband, who had been jumping up and down in excitement.

A few moments later, they had stepped through the fire into a room that was light with a green tint. Harry guessed that they had entered through the library, examining all the books that were placed neatly into small alcoves along the walls. A moment later, a small blond haired boy had peeked through the door and smiled broadly at the family that was gazing around the room in awe.

"Father, Harry Potter and his family had arrived." Scorpius called quietly through the hallway, as to not startle the guests.

A moment later, Draco appeared in the hallway wearing a grey set of robes that reflected his eyes and Astoria wearing a pale yellow colored set of robes following at his side. All three figures walked confidently to the room and Draco cautiously opened the door all the way. Harry turned at the sound of the door opening and nodded politely to Astoria and Draco. He bent down slightly as to be eye level with Scorpius.

"Hello, Scorpius. My wife, Ginny and I bought you a present. I hope you like it." Harry said as he dug in his robe pocket for the small box that he had brought along with him.

"But dad, I thought you said-"

"Albus, be quiet. Your father wanted to buy his son's best friend a present, be grateful he isn't hexing you." Ginny scolded her middle child.

Draco slightly raised an eyebrow. "Yes, Potter, why have you bought my son something? I feel so guilty that I haven't-"

"Draco, please. It's nothing really. Albus asked me to buy Scorpius something, so I took Albus to Diagon Alley on Tuesday and we both picked out-"

Harry's explanation was cut short by a happy yelp. Harry and Ginny smiled as Scorpius opened the small box to reveal a wristwatch with Scorpius's initials engraved into it with Slytherin green color. He hugged Harry and looked up at his father, who smiled approvingly at the gift.

"Are you guys hungry? I started making dinner; it should be finished shortly." Astoria asked.

She smiled as the Potters nodded in unison. An hour later, the Potter's and Malfoy's were all sitting at a table full of food in the large dining room. Albus and James looked absolutely marveled at all of the food that had been set.

"Well, dig in." Astoria urged as Scorpius happily started to spoon mounds of chopped pork meat onto his plate.

After dinner, everyone sat with full stomachs around the sitting room. Albus and Scorpius were playing a game of wizard's chess in a corner, occasionally bickering at each other for taking each other's game pieces off the board. James was reading a book that he had brought with him. Lily was sleeping on Ginny's lap.

"So, not to sound rude or anything, but why exactly did you invite us here for dinner tonight, Draco?" Harry asked his co worker politely.

"I just wanted to get to know the great Harry Potter. I wanted to know if you truly accepted that I had changed and I wanted to see for myself." He answered, shrugging slightly.

"Draco, you knew me since we were eleven. Not much has changed since then." Harry shrugged.

"Dinner was amazing, Astoria. You should lend me your recipe for the treacle tart." Ginny said, keeping the room from having an awkward silence between the two husbands.

"I'll owl the recipe to you in the morning. I'm too full to move at the moment, Ginny." Astoria laughed.

"Dad, can I stay over tonight? Please, oh please, oh please?" Albus suddenly asked as he came over to Harry from the corner of the room, where he and Scorpius were sitting.

"Only if Draco and Astoria will allow it, Al. You know I could care less where you go to sleep." Harry answered with a small smile. Albus looked hopefully at Draco.

"Mr. Malfoy, would it be okay if I stayed over your house tonight?" He asked with pure politeness.

Draco smiled at being addressed as 'Mr. Malfoy' by a thirteen year old.

He nodded and Albus jumped in joy. Ginny smiled lightly at his son.

"Behave, Al. Or we will drag you right back home on the spot. Have some respect while you stay here." She warned as she cautiously stood up from her seat as to not wake up her sleeping daughter.

"Sorry, mum." Albus stopped jumping and went back to the corner of the room to tell his best friend the good news. Ginny kissed her husband lightly on the cheek.

"Honey, I think I'm going to go home. Lilly's knocked out and I'm not that far behind from passing out myself." Ginny said as she tried to stifle a yawn.

"I'll come home shortly. I just want to stay and talk to Draco for a few more moments before I retire home myself, okay? James, go with your mother." Harry ordered as his eldest son stood up.

"But-"

"James." Harry warned.

James noticed the demand in his father's voice and did as he was told. Draco was looking at Harry with a confused look.

"What do you need to talk to me about?"

"Astoria, do you mind?" Harry asked as he pointed in the direction of their sons. She got the hint and quickly ushered the boys to another room.

"Potter? What do you need to talk about in private like this?" Draco asked, suddenly uncomfortable as Harry sat down on the chair across from him.

"I need to know why you are so determined to know of my real sexuality." He said, looking directly into Draco's eyes.

Harry waited for an answer, and by the way Draco was struggling with words, Harry knew something had been fighting in his mind.

"I already told you why, Potter. I was only curious. At first I thought it had been a plot to get my wife, but then I realized that you were being honest. And for the life of me, I don't know why I'm not reporting you to the Daily Prophet. I guess it's because I see you with Ginny, and I can't imagine ruining that for you. You seem so happy with her." Draco explained.

Harry had trouble keeping his eyes from rolling.

"We seem happy. That doesn't mean that I am happy with her. In actuality, I was somewhat hoping that you would have told somebody -anybody- so that Ginny would realise where my heart truly is. But she refuses to open her eyes and see the real me. Now, don't get me wrong, I do love her, and I love my children. I am just not happy with her anymore." Harry explained, looking down at his fingers which had suddenly become interesting to look at.

"Potter, I wouldn't ruin your marriage like that. Maybe I would have when we were in school because I hated to see you so damned happy while I had been stuck with Pansy all those years." Draco told him.

Harry looked at him. "I always wondered why you never decided to marry that pig. You two were inseparable. It seemed to be reasonable to believe that you and Parkinson would end up together." Harry said with a small smile. Draco shuddered.

"I never liked her, Potter. She was a cow. I only hung around her to please my father and have him believe that I-" Draco cut off as he realized what he was about to say. "I wasn't bent" Draco almost admitted. Harry looked slightly confused at the sudden quiet, but let the emotion pass him.

"I better get going, Draco. Thanks again for the dinner invite. I shall invite you over sometime soon." Harry said as he stood up and shook Draco's hand.

Draco nodded he directed Harry to the library for the Floo Network.
