"How'd you meet her, Harry?" Ron asked as he walked along the black-haired boy, his eyes on the grass as they traveled around the grounds.
Harry smiled as he pulled up the memory of him running into her, and her being like a rock while he fell to the ground like a limp noodle.
"Well I originally met her when we were on the train. I wasn't really paying attention, and she… Well… I ran into her and I fell on the ground." He said quietly, a soft blush on his face as he glanced at the ginger.
"Nice. That's how I'd assume you'd pick up the ladies." He said with a grin as he nudged Harry gently, before the duo reached the doors of the castle.
They had gone for a walk, having an hour of free period, and they had nothing to do. It had been about a week or so since Harry had seen Tracey, and she had intergrated with the Gryffindors rather quickly. Harry liked to joke around her and say that she was a Gryffindor in Slytherin's clothing, and it seemed like it. It had taken Ron a while to get used to the fact that Tracey was going to be with them, but once he had accepted it, he liked her just as much as any other person in the house.
Harry on the other hand, found that he had rather taken a fancy to the girl, and he decided that he might pursue her in the future, given that he would still be alive. Three straight years of almost dying tended to put a damper on things, along with that blasted dream he had.
No matter how hard he tried, the dream would always play back to him, haunting him, and he knew that this wasn't any dream. It was a sign. It seemed much too vivid and real to be nothing but the product of his mind. And with how everything was going, it seemed like this year would be his last.
"I'm going to dinner mate. See you later?" Ron asked, raising an eyebrow as they reached an intersection in the corridor, one direction leading off to the Great Hall while the other one lead to the Grand Staircase, and more specifically, the common room.
"Sure… See you soon." Harry said, and nodded with a smile as he turned the opposite direction from his friend.
As he hummed and started jogging up the stairs, his mind drifted to the brunette that he had been thinking about constantly, and just as he rounded the staircase, ready to run up the next flight, he ran into none other than the girl in question, almost falling back but narrowly catching himself, which caused Tracey to laugh loudly.
"Merlin, Harry. I know I'm pretty but I'm gonna have to stop coming around you if you fall every time that we meet!" She said, a soft smile playing on her pink lips as she looked down at him.
Harry just grinned and raised an eyebrow, "Really? Because every time I fall, I don't end up in the hospital wing!" He shot back, as Tracey stepped down onto the step next to him, and nodded, "True. But I fall less."
Harry shook his head and sighed, glancing up the staircase, "What're you doing so high up, dungeon mouse?" He asked, realizing that they were on the sixth flight of stairs or so- almost to the common rooms.
"I was coming to see you!" Tracey said cheerfully as they both started climbing again.
"Oh… I was out on a walk." Harry said, yawning lightly as they trudged up the stairs, their pace slowed down as they chatted.
"Oh. I was about to suggest we go take one. But we can go hang out in the common room, if you want, of course." Tracey said, swinging her arms back and forth absentmindedly as they reached the portrait of the Fat Lady, who rolled her eyes as she looked down on the Slytherin with distain, and sneered, "Password?"
Harry rolled his eyes and sighed, "Sniveling Snakedrop!" He said irritatedly. While most of the students in Gryffindor accepted Tracey because she was with Harry, there were still peop-things that didn't really agree with a green mixing with reds-mainly the portraits around the common room, and the suits of armor stationed decoratively around the room.
"So now that I've gone down the stairs and up again, I'm going to sit down. Right here." Tracey said, plopping down in Harry's favorite chair, which caused him to frown, but it quickly turned into a smile as he leapt onto the couch and laid back on it, staring over at the girl while the fire cracked softly in the background.
"So how have you been treated lately?" Harry asked, referring to her own house, who had seemed to have shunned her from their ranks, with the exception of Daphne, who could care less about Tracey's social standing, even if it brought her down a few pegs.
Tracey shrugged and yawned, "I'm alright, I suppose. They don't really talk to me anymore. Malfoy is a twat but that's what he usually is, so other than the subtle feeling of loneliness, I'm doing just fine." She said with a smile.
Harry nodded slowly, and smiled, "Brilliant. I wonder what we can do about Malfoy though." He thought aloud, causing Tracey to grin, and shrug, but on the inside, stirred her fears. If Malfoy got messed with, she knew that she would be on the blunt end of the retaliation, no matter what it was, and she had a feeling that she would absolutely hate it.
Wanting a quick change from the subject, Tracey yawned and strectched, "What do you think about the Triwizard Tournament? She asked quietly, her eyes on him as he shrugged and looked over at her, "I dunno. It really doesn't affect me except for no Quidditch, which sucks." He said quietly, shrugging.
"If you were old enough, would you have entered?" She asked, a smile playing on her lips as she remembered Fred and George's attempt at fooling the cup.
"I don't think so. I don't need more fame than I already have." He said, twiriling his wand between his fingertips as he shrugged again.
Tracey nodded, "But have you really heard of any Champions? Eternal fame and glory seems to be a load of Skrewt shite."
Harry laughed softly and nodded, "Still no. It's dangerous." He said, a grin on his face as he looked at Tracey, and she rolled her eyes. Harry had told her all about his misadventures for the previous three years, and it seemed that danger was the last thing on his mind when he was out on them.
"Psh… Dangerous. I'd rather have to compete in the school sponsored competition than get my soul sucked out by a damn Dementor!"
Harry laughed and shrugged, "Well… That's you. Not too hard when you know the spell." He said with a laugh.
Tracey rolled her eyes again, "Whatever, Harry." She said with a giggle as she stood up, "I'm tired." She complained, and Harry laughed, and sighed, "Go down to the dungeon and go to sleep?" He asked quietly, "I don't wanna. I think I'll have nightmares." She said softly, not wanting to see his brilliant green eyes look up at her without life in them.
"Hmm… I'll protect you." Harry said with a smile as he scooted over on the large couch, leaving enough room for another person to lie down comfortably, which caused Tracey to blush and grin, before slowly and tentatively laying down next to him, her body not touching him, but Harry had other ideas.
His arm went around her waist and he smiled as she relaxed into him, her eyes closing as she sighed happily and slowly drifted away to sleep.

"C'mon Lily!" Tracey said softly, extending her hand to the little girl, who had long, smooth brown hair, and almond-shaped emerald eyes. She smiled down at her little daughter, and picked her up, swinging her around in her arms with a laugh, "Let's go find daddy, yeah?" She asked softly, to which Lily giggled and nodded, clapping her hands together, "Daddy!" She cheered happily.
Tracey walked into the small flat they were renting, and she saw her husband on the couch, sleeping soundly, a blanket draped loosely over him, and Lily giggled, "Daddy! Wake up!" She said loudly, and Tracey set her down, and she ran to her daddy, and jumped onto him, waking him up quickly.
'Oomph!" He said as she bounced lightly on his stomach, and she smiled down at him, "Daddy! I want a story!" Lily said, her little arms resting on his chest, and he reached around for his glasses, feeling around tiredly until he found them resting on the floor and sliding them slowly onto his face. "Wh-What dear?" He asked quietly, raising his eyebrows.
'Storyyy!" She complained and he smiled and nodded, "Okay! Fine." He said quietly and sat up, while the little girl curled up into his lap and waited patently. "Uh… How about a story about a hero who wins a competition?" He asked, raising his eyebrows with a smile.
"Sure!" Lily said cheerfully, and nodded with a smile as she settled in.
"Well… There once was a boy. His name was… Daniel. And Daniel was an unlucky lad. He lost his parents when he was very little." He said, and Lily looked sort of sad. "Like you daddy?" She asked, hugging him tightly, which caused Harry to smile.
"Yes baby, like me. Anyway, Daniel wasn't a very lucky lad. He went to a magical school, where he learned how to cast spells and other fun things like that." He said softly, and Tracey smiled wider, leaning into her husband, her eyes closing as she listened to his story.
'And one year, Daniel had this dream. And in this dream, he had something very horrible happen to him. But little did he know, there was another girl who had this same dream. Anyway, they ended up meeting, and falling madly in love. The girl, who was named Annabel, ended up telling Daniel about her dream, and he told her about the same dream. They were scared that the dream would come true, so Annabel trained with Daniel, and they worked really hard so that Daniel would win the competition. And you know what?" He asked softly, but the little girl had already fallen asleep in his lap, and he smiled, and looked over at Tracey. "He survived, and they lived happily ever after." He whispered before pecking her lips lightly with a grin.

Tracey woke with a jolt, and she looked around the room, finding somebody's arm tightly around her, and she felt comfortable, and safe. She glanced around the room, and saw the red draperies, and the memories of what she was doing before she fell asleep came back to her. She glanced behind her, and saw the sleeping form of Harry, who had a small smile on his face, and she grinned, remembering her dream.
Whoever was sending these dreams seemed to be done playing with her. She felt like she could tell Harry about her dream because she was pretty sure that he had the same dream.
"We'll get through this." She whispered confidently as she started out of the common room.
Well there ya go. We had another dream. I'm kinda thinking about rewriting this, because I had an excellent idea, but if I don't, I know what im doing with this story. Thanks for reading! I've decided to say that I'll post chapters when I feel like it, instead of restricting myself to a schedule. I feel like the writing will flow more naturally, and it'll just be better than having to come up with an idea week after week. This is also my most popular story now, so thank you guys! And if you want to see a picture of what Tracey looks like, go to my profile. I'll have cookies and a link waiting there for you ;) I'm tired and ill read through this for mistakes, and if you guys point any out, i'll be sure to fix them. so... until next time!
