Katie: If your still up for It can you meet me in the bathroom near the auditorium

I grabbed my school bag and started to make my way to the bathroom near the auditorium, when I got to the bathroom Katie was standing in front of the sink wearing a floral skater dress and black flats

''Hey'' I said

Katie turned around to face me and smiled, she was wearing mascara and eyeliner and light lip stick, I felt completely under dressed

''Sorry that i'm under dressed'' I said

She looked me up and down and i'm sure she bit her lips but It could have been a trick of the lights

''Um..It's okay'' She said

''If you want we can go to the costume room and get a dress'' She added

I nodded, Katie turned and closed her makeup bag and began to walk up to me, she walked by me and to the door, I followed her as she led me down the hallway

We reached the costume room, on the first rack were all fancy dresses and in the back were other fancy dress's then behind them were nice casual dress's, I decided on a blue scoop neck skater dress with a thin black belt, I went to the big mirror and twirled to get an effect

''You look nice'' Katie said

''Thanks'' I said with a smile

Katie blushed and gave me a shy smile, Katie cleared her throat

''We should get to the auditorium, I think Quinn is singing'' She said, I gave her a confused look

''She's a glee club alumni, she was a cheerio and was top of her class and is now a hot shot lawyer'' Katie said

''You kinda look like her'' Katie added before beckoning me out of the costume room

We walked to the auditorium in silence, about 30 people were sitting in the auditorium and there was a blonde woman on stage, Katie was right I did look like her, her medium length blonde hair was curled and her beautiful green eyes stuck out to me cause there mine, I spotted Rachel sitting in the front next to (and much to my shock) Brittany! from the dance studio who mistook me for her friend Quinn, I tapped Katie shoulder

''Yes?'' Katie asked

''My half-sister Rachel sitting there-'' I started but I was cut off

''She's your half-sister?!'' Katie whisper shouted, I nodded and Katie squealed

''I look up to her!'' Katie said in awe

''I can introduce you'' I said and Katie squealed

''Well I kinda want me singing to be a surprise so...'' I led off

''Oh! you can wait backstage and you can still hear and see Quinn'' Katie said

I noticed that her shyness was fading being in the auditorium seemed to do this to her, she seemed completely in her element

''Okay, see you when were going on'' I said and gently squeezed Katie shoulder

''Okay'' Katie said shyly and looked at my hand

I walked to the door that led me backstage, I waited on the side, I had a clear view of Quinn who looked ready to start

The music began and Quinn began to sing, It was beautiful and fit perfectly for her, her voice sounded a lot like mine except she seemed to have more experience, I watched her in awe as she performed and nearing the end of the performance she looked over to the side and spotted me, she smiled and continued to sing, once she was done everyone began to cheer

''Okay Okay'' A familiar male voice said

''Next we have glee club member Katie Cruz'' Mr Schuester said, the auditorium applauded, Katie walked up to the stage

''My friend from the Cheerios is gonna be helping me'' Katie said shyly

I took that as my cue to get on stage, I made sure to keep my eyes on Rachel so I could see the exact moment It clicked, I was not disappointed, It was a mix of glee and confusion then turned into worry as she turned to Quinn, Katie passed me the microphone

''I'm Beth Corcoran'' I said shyly, I smiled at Katie who blushed and Rachel who was clapping

I snuck a glance at Quinn who had a hand covering her mouth and next to her was an equally as shocked man

The piano started and Katie took her cue and started singing in her melodic voice, I was so captivated that I almost missed my cue, I started my part of the song, I looked over at Quinn who had tears in her eyes and looked over at Rachel who was smiling and filming, I looked over at Katie and smiled and on cue she blushed, we sang the finale line and were met with applause

Katie face turned as red as a tomato, she walked off the stage and I followed suit, we took a seat in the second row next to a Asian woman and a man with glasses and a lean frame and a beautiful woman with blonde hair

''That was great'' The Asian woman said

''Thank you'' Katie and I replied at the same time

''Glee club new and alumni give It up for Tina Cohen-Chang!'' Mr Schuester said excitedly

The Asian woman now known as Tina walked up the stage and began to sing a song that I wasn't familiar with but she was great, in the middle of the song Brittany and a Latina woman got on staged and worked as background dancers, I recognized the Latina woman she was in a few pictures at the dance studio, they finished and everyone cheered and the lean glasses man next to us wolf whistled and the woman next to him cheered and laughed and kissed the man on the cheek

It went on like that for a while, more people sang including the lean man now known as Artie and the blonde woman now known as Kitty they sang amazingly there voices mixed together perfectly

''Alright! were gonna call It a night'' Mr Schuster said after an hour

''Tomorrow we have Rachel!'' He said and everyone cheered

''Santana Lopez'' He said and everyone cheered

''Kitty Abrams and Marley Rose'' He said and everyone cheered

''...and Puck!'' He said and everyone cheered

People began to leave the auditorium, soon almost everyone was gone except Rachel, Katie, Quinn and the Latina girl who I was guessing was Santana

''Thanks for singing with me'' Katie said shyly

I smiled and nodded

''No problem, I enjoyed It'' I said coolly

She smiled and blushed

''Just don't tell Rachel, she probably enjoyed this way to much already'' I said with a smile

Katie smiled shyly and left the auditorium

I began to walk up to the stage, Santana spotted me and began tapping on Quinn's shoulder, Quinn turned and faced me and she looked ready to cry, my face morphed into confusion so I looked at Rachel who gave me a weak smile, Rachel walked off the stage and joined me, she turned me around so that we were leaving the auditorium

''What's wrong with Quinn?'' I asked

''Just excited to see everyone'' Rachel said unconvincingly

''Okay'' I replied

We walked out of the auditorium and into the costume room, my jeans and tank top from before were sitting on a table, I changed behind the racks, I put the dress back on the rack

''Are you giving me a lift home?" I asked Rachel

''Of course!'' Rachel said

We walked out of the school and into the car in a comfortable silence, half way through the ride Rachel spoke up

''I've never heard you sing before, you're amazing!'' Rachel said excitedly

I couldn't help the blush that graced my cheeks, It happened whenever I was complimented by my mom or Rachel

I got home and the second I walked into the house mom was on my tail, Rachel sent her the video and she was freaking out, after about half an hour mom let me leave, I went to my bedroom and turned on my laptop, I went on to the school blog and there were no new articles posted, I logged onto MyWall and noticed that I had over a hundred contact requests, I recognized a few faces, I accepted the ones that I recognize and ones that's profile said they went to my school, a few stuck out to me Lily, Katie and Shay

I accepted Katie's with no hesitation, Lily's with slight and Shay's with a lot, I smiled at her and we became 'best friends' what happens If I accept her friend request do we become sisters?

I accepted the friend request and hoped that It got lost in the endless sworn of other people, I noticed that I had 2 messages both from Lily

[3 Minutes ago] Lily: the girls and I are going shopping tomorrow after Cheerio practice, join?

the girls? possibly other Cheerios

Me: Sure!

I hesitated slightly before searching up Katie's name on MyWall, I clicked on her profile picture, It was a picture of her with her hair blown out, she was smiling and her dimples were showing, It looked like It was taken recently, she really was beautiful, I shut off my laptop and walked downstairs to look if dinner was ready

I felt like I was part of something, something big, at dance school there was a hierarchy that I got used to some groups were on the top, some were in the middle and some were at the bottom, Cheerios were at the top and I liked being part of them, cheer leading wasn't dancing but It was the closest thing that I had to dancing and I was planning on keeping It

I zipped my cheerios uniform and looked at myself in the mirror, I tied my hair into a high pony and smiled, I put on some light lip gloss and smiled, there was cheerio practice today and some weighing tests

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple, I ate the apple while dancing around the kitchen, mom left early because she had to do something for work so I was going to walk, I grabbed my school bag and my Ipod, I set It on shuffle and put my head phones in, I left the house and began walking to school, listen to your heart by Roxette was playing, It had become my go to feel good song

I walked to school humming the song, after a 20 minute walk I reached the school, I pulled out my headphones and placed them in my backpack and walked into the school, I walked in and many eyes were on me which is terrifying with my luck i'm going to trip, I walked to my locker and grabbed my gym bag, I looked to my left to see If Katie was at her locker but she wasn't, I frowned and began to walk to the gym, when I reached the gym I was ready to walk to the locker room when Lily stopped me

''Where are you going?'' She asked confused

''The locker room to change for gym'' I said, Lily chuckled

''Cheerios don't take gym, we make up are gym credits with Cheerios'' She said, I nodded

I was relived that I wouldn't have to take gym, I was never that good at physical activity that wasn't gymnastics, Lily beckoned me to the bleachers were 2 other Cheerios were sitting, to my left was a blonde haired cheerio who introduced herself as Veronica and to my right was a dark skinned cheerio who introduced herself as Melanie

''So Beth got your eyes on anyone?'' Veronica asked

I thought of Katie but quickly pushed the thought out of my head

''No, haven't had the time to look'' I said hoping that was enough

''Oh! we can set you up with Derek!'' Melanie said excitedly

''Um I think I want to settle in before going on a date'' I said

''Okay totally understandable'' Melanie said

Melanie and Veronica began chatting among themselves for a while, Melanie turned to me

''You should totally come to my party this Saturday!'' Melanie said excitedly

''Sure'' I said

Melanie clapped her hands together

''Okay! well It starts at 9 and ends whenever, my parents are out of town, all the cheerios are coming and the football players and the kids from the dance club and there friends, pretty much anyone who's anyone'' She said, I nodded

Melanie went back to talking to Veronica and I turned on my phone, I played Angry Birds until Lily tapped my shoulder

''What are you going to wear to the party?'' Lily asked

''Don't know'' I said, Lily smiled

''We'll pick something out after school, still on for the mall right?'' She asked

''Ya'' I said

Lily went back to her phone, I played on my phone till gym ended, when gym ended I went to my locker to put my gym clothe away, I had free period next so I was going to go to the court yard

Melanie and Veronica and a few other girls were sitting at a round table, Melanie beckoned me over

''Hi hi!'' She said excitedly

''Hey'' I said shyly, Melanie smiled

''Omg, I heard you're coming to the mall today after school with us! that's so cool we can totally shop clothe for my party!'' She said excitedly, I nodded

Melanie began texting her 'bae' I have no clue what It means and I don't really wanna know

The bell rang and I went to my social studies class than my math class and slowly the day drew to an end, I walked to the field where cheerios practice is taking place, practice was fairly difficult, the routine was done 'fine' as Sue likes to put It by half the girls but she wants us to be perfect robots

The weighing test went fine, apparently I was at a perfect weight for someone my height that wants a small frame, I didn't really care much about weight but Sue seemed to care a lot

''Come on Beth! Lily waiting for you'' Melanie said, she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the locker room I was changing in moments before

I got to the parking lot were a few cars were parked

''Veronica and Dana are riding with me and your riding with Lily'' Melanie said before running to her car

I found Lily's white Convertible and began to walk toward'd It, I got in the car and sat down and buckled my seat belt, Lily took off without warning, Lily turned on the radio and a new pop song, Lily began singing along, she had an amazing voice for the rest of the car ride she sang the song and shook her head laughing and smiling, she stopped the car in the mall parking lot

''Tell anyone about this and Ill end you'' She said with a smile
