The teenager seemed to size up the pirate for his own, watching all the other pirates step back and give them a bunch of room. "Obviously." Sherlock replied, unimpressed. He looked over the blade a moment then swiftly up to the captain.

"I'll let the less fortunate strike first," The captain told him. "give them more of a chance to last five seconds. I be merciful this time."

Sherlock paused, as if waiting. "Whenever you're ready. You said less fortunate go first, so..." The captain obviously wasn't having any more of his mouth so he swung at the teen who ducked, jumping back. "Really, didn't expect that at all. If you want to be scary and not have people see what's coming, don't be so obvious." He advised, the captain really wasn't seeming to be enjoying this.

Of course the pirate swung again, this time Sherlock ducking and darting forward as he did so, having seen the move coming, and swung at the captain who anticipated it in time and blocked it with his own sword.

Ooh, maybe it was getting interesting. He drew back, knowing he was unable to match the brute strength of the captain. "And what if I win this?" He asked as he withdrew, jabbing at the pirate who dodged, in turn.

"Ha! You, win? We might as well not waste time discussing!" He laughed and swung at the teenager who ducked again.

"And if I do?" He snapped, jumping a few feet back, answer him, dammit!

The captain paused, swinging his cutlass. "If I win, you'll be my servant until I kill you. Which will probably be within the first few minutes." He chuckled.

"Yeah, I got that, and for me?" Sherlock snapped, glaring.

"For you..." He was thinking.

"I want to be part of the crew." He suddenly burst out. The pirate could only laugh, some others joining him, then soon, the whole crew. "I'm serious." He said in an angry voice, stop laughing!

Managing to control his laughter, the captain stepped forward. "Alright kid, you win, you can be a pirate." He obviously didn't take this seriously.

"Better start taking this a bit more seriously, its awfully embarrassing to laugh then get your sorry ass kicked." Sherlock commented, breaking the strong pirate out of his laughter.

"I'm going to make you eat those words." He said, serious again, and swung out again.

Again Sherlock jumped out of the way. "You really need to get a new set of moves, this is like fighting with a toddler." He gave a yawn, infuriating the captain further who ran at him, lashing out more and more.

This being the teenagers plan, he continued to dodge but, this time, hurried forward as he did so, placing in his own swings, not about to give in. He was going to be a pirate, no matter what it took.

He swung at the Captain, getting closer. Haha, see, this was child's play- oof! He stumbled back, the hilt of his opponents blade having been shoved into his nose, okay, ouch, he didn't expect that one. Ouch, asshole!

The captain saw his chance and swung at the teenager, slicing at his shoulder and kneeing him in the stomach right after.

With a gasp, Sherlock fell onto the ground, dropping the cutlass which skittered off, his hand going to his shoulder out of instinct, ouch! Fuck! He refused to give in though, he wasn't just going to submit this easy. It was fight or serve then die really soon after. First off, he was never being a servant, and two, he didn't plan on dying anytime soon.

The captain of the ship hurried forward, raising his blade high then struck it down, the time he'd taken in doing so giving the teenager the chance to roll away and avoid getting stabbed. The blade got stuck in the wood for a moment and he kicked the hands grasped around the hilt, the captain gasping and jumping away out of instinct, curling his hands into fists.

Sherlock got to his feet as fast as he could and grabbed the hilt, angling it forward and easing it out in a quick, smooth motion, whipping around and pointing it at the pirate who'd been running back over. "Check." He said, stepping forward as the captain stepped back.

A few of the crew mates were going to step forward but they captain of them snapped. "Stay back, its him and I!" He yelled, nobody else was allowed to interfere. That'd cause him to lose by rules of the deal. He held the cutlass a few inches away from the captain but slashed at his leg while he was busy with his crew.

Drawing in a pained breath, the captain narrowed his eyes at the teen who kicked his other shin and hooked his leg around the captain's ankle, tripping him. He couldn't have pulled down the guys weight on his own but the kick to the ankle knocked him down.

He then pressed the tip of the cutlass to the pirates throat. "Check mate." He said in a low, threatening voice. "I win."

"Who says?" The captain snapped, not about to just admit to defeat against someone like him.

Sherlock smirked, leaning forward him a bit to press the cutlass a bit harder against the pirates throat, a bit of blood beginning to seep down due to the light cut just given. "Says the one with the sword to your throat." He paused. "Of course, I could always kill you if that'll prove it better." He added, seeming more than ready to shove the sword down.

"Alright, you win." The captain snapped at him. He withdrew the sword with the same cocky smirk. "Now, give me back my cutlass." He growled. Sherlock tossed it back in his direction, walking over towards his and picking it up. As he stood back up to his full height he felt a cutlass press against his neck. What the hell?

"You think you'd really win, kid?" The captain chuckled. "A kid doesn't belong here. Especially a fool."

Sherlock shot him an icy glare. He was no fool. "I wouldn't be calling me the fool, if I were you, I knew how to fight." The head of the crew glared back, angry at this then giving a cruel smirk.

"You forgot something about pirates." He stepped up to the tall boy, leaning over to whisper in his ear. "We lie." They didn't play by the rules. He pulled away and straightened up, glancing around. "Take him to one of the cells!" He ordered immediately, one pirate beginning to push him along with two others flanking them on either side. Oh, come on.
