SO, this chapter is going to be a chatterbox. And my dear readers may be irritated by this. I'm sorry, but this is a part that I must get through to get the plot whole, you know. I felt pretty irritated myself while I was working on this but—so far, this is the best a high school student in China can do. And it doesn't mean what I will write in the next chapters would also be like this. So, yeah, okay, read this piece if you would like to spend the time. :) & thanks for everything.

So I regretted that shot immediately.

"Impossible." I was more surprised by it than rather terrified by it. That guy was like a statue, gawking across the road. When I moved slightly I felt his sight followed.

A part of me reminded that I should feel glad that there was finally one believer who was an adult, likely. But, no, there's no sign that he was a regular pass-by.

I frantically wished that he wouldn't just turn away and trot down to hell. Because I was sure I would go follow him. And I would probably regret it as the second stupidest thing I had ever done in my life, much like the first one.

Predict he was coming for Sophie, maybe he was a guy that knew her family, and was blocked by my presence so Sophie didn't notice.

Or say he was a bad guy, probably kidnapping her and wanting a ransom. Then what I just did felt right.

Or he was just a man coming out to meet his friends in a party or so, he needed that dark cape, then he was surprised that Sophie was talking to the air.

Then it flicked me, could he SEE me?

No, that wasn't possible; I had to think of other explanations. What if... what if he wasn't a human, another spirit created by Man in Moon, all he told him was "Find someone like you, they'll guide you." So he was alerted and standing so straight was just one of his unusual habits that made him a guardian?

That last thought seemed to make a little more sense, so I shouldn't be afraid. I wasn't afraid, I hadn't do anything wrong. Did I? Didn't I? Then did he on pitch's side? ...

Oh, Jesus. I hated it when I was lost in those weird thought again, it was unpleasant, and what's more, it was unhealthy. So I let out a long breath, as long as he wouldn't bother me, I won't be bothered to think about it.

Instead, I flew around to find if there's any one else being happy about the weather. I landed on a silver car very similar to my new one, and stopped to smell the city. It was dry and clean.

Then I heard pairs of feet walking on snow behind me. Then the sound came to a pause, I turned to see curious eyes. They were looking at me, there was a group of people staring at me and muttering intelligibly. This couldn't be happening.

I jumped down to the pavement and walked until a tall chocolate-brown building blocked between us.

Answers were coming to me, so something literally changed at the moment when I took my oaths? No one ever told me, or was I just so stupid that I didn't notice how other guardians never showed themselves in the streets? In short, my invisible days were over?

So, something was a little bit relieved, maybe that guy was just a civilian.

My mouth was a little opened when I realized what those people just saw. Feeling fooled, I ran a hand through my hair, trying to figure out if being visibly real was a good thing or not.

A/N:

I hadn't posted for a few months, and so I was glad that I finally found the notion of continuing it. I edited the first 2 previous chapters a little bit (may not be noticed). The next chapter will be up soon to fill the gap of this, hopefully.

And please, I really wanna know how you guys feel about this chapter. In my point, I think I wrote in details, but maybe too much details. I am a kid. I am learning. So if you have anything that came into your mind for one brief second, can you tell me by reviewing? I'd be so grateful.

Thank you. :)
