Chapter 4
Albus Dumbledore
September 1976
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
It was a beautiful, circular room lined with pictures of previous headmasters and headmistress of Hogwarts that looked like they had just woke up, with a magnificent desk that had always been used by every one of the wizards and witches in the portraits.
In the middle of the room an old man with long white beard and long white hair, twinkling blue eyes behind half moon glasses that was wearing a light blue robe with silver moons and stars covering it, that man was the most powerful wizard alive, he had obviously had a wonderful peaceful night, he looked happy and couldn't wait to go and have breakfast in the Great Hall with all the staff:
Professor McGonagall; deputy headmistress, head of Gryffindor house, transfiguration teacher, a tall severe-looking woman, with black hair typically drawn into a tight bun, between sixty and seventy years old, still young for a witch, always wearing square spectacles, the first impression anyone had about this woman was that was someone not to be crossed.
Professor Flitwick; Charms teacher, head of Ravenclaw house, a very short man, with white hair and a squeaky voice that can always be found on top of a stack of books during his classes in order for the students to be able to see them no matter where they are sitting, and always sitting on a pile of cushions while at the staff table in the Great Hall.
Professor Sprout; Herbology teacher, head of Hufflepuff house, a not too tall witch with grey hair that is always wearing a hat and shabby robes, often covered in dirt due to the time she spend in the greenhouses of Hogwarts.
Professor Slughorn; Potions teacher, head of Slytherin, a man with an enormous walrus mustache, short and round who is always claiming of suffering from old age, known as a man that likes his comfort, and enjoys the company of famous, successful, powerful and talented wizards and witches.
With Professor Vector as the arythmacy teacher, Professor Lylnel as the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Ammit as the runes teacher, Madame Hooch as the flying instructor, Madame Pompfrey as the school's healer.
All of them will be excited for the start of the new year, for it was the second of September, first day of school.
He knew all his students will be excited about what they will learn this year, at least the first years will be excited.
Hogwarts four houses: Slytherin for the ambitious and cunning, Hufflepuff for the loyal and hard working, Rnvenclaw for the clever and smart and Gryffindor for the brave and courageous.
This was going to be a great day, the weather outside told him that, it was a sunny day neither hot nor cold, and you could already hear the birds singing.
Feeling that it was an adequate hour to start going towards the Great Hall for breakfast he walked out of his office for about twenty minutes since he had stopped to wish a good morning to many portraits that were on the way towards his destination.
He open the huge doors to the Great Hall and saw the big room with an enchanted ceiling that looked just like the real sky outside of this castle, the room had four tables, one for each house and a table looking towards the first four where the staff of Hogwarts sat.
No students were there yet, but the staff apparently were early starters.
In less than an hour the hall was full of students some looking excited, other looking scared, some looking anxious and the grand majority looking sleepy.
By nine in the morning each head of house had given each of their students their timetables and they were all going to their first class to start the day.
Nothing spectacular happened during the day, several detentions were given to the ones that called themselves the marauderers, but that wasn't new anymore, it was more of a tradition since they had started school six years ago.
He knew it was bad to have favorites, but he couldn't help it these four boys had stole his heart since the first time they had walked Hogwarts entrance doors for the first time.
James Potter; a tall, thin boy with messy black hair and hazel eyes framed by glasses, a mischievous, clever and talented wizard even now with only sixteen years of life, he could sometimes be arrogant and boastful but with a big heart.
Sirius Black; a tall, lean and very handsome sixteen year old man, long dark hair and grey eyes, always with an elegant appearance, brave and loyal to his friends, talented and clever with a huge love for pranks, sometimes arrogant and bullying students, particular one slytherin, Severus Snape, at times irresponsible and impulsive.
Remus Lupin; sixteen year old man with light brown hair with already some grey hairs, pale face, and sometime a little insecure due to his lycanthrophy problem, intelligent, calm, tolerant, gentle and good-natured, always trying to see the good in everyone and forgiving, with an excellent sense of humor.
Peter Pettigrew; sixteen year old man with light brown hair, short and round, very insecure and always trailing after his three friends, shy, and sometimes one could say that Peter had no free will, always preferring to do what others told him to.
The day had been just as perfect as he had imagined it would be, he could wait for how the day would be tomorrow, being already late afternoon the Headmaster walked towards his office to finish everything for that day and have a peaceful night just like the night before.
"Lemon drop"
The gargoyle guarding the entrance to his office jumped aside as soon as the old man said the password.
He walked the stairs and in less than 2 minutes he was opening the door to his office.
Not a lot of times something could shock this man, but this was definitely one of those occasions, he couldn't enter his office, there was no room for anyone else in there.
Hundreds of house elves were inside, some screaming, others crying, some looking scared and some trying to hit themselves with something.
"Oh Master Wombledore, I is so sowy, three little wizards entered Wombledore's house in the early morning today and I and the rest of the Wobledore's house elves didn't knew they were there until the little wizards entered the kitchen and we all came here to tell the great Master Wombledore"
A little house elf that was obviously female for its voice was telling him exactly why they were there between every sob. It had been difficult to understand every single word, but he had.
Someone in Dumbledore Manor? It was impossible!
He had personally put many of the wards in Dumbledore's Manor, and it was even a safer place that even Hogwarts or Gringotts, no one could even know of its existence without him telling them.
Without even waiting for anything else he took out a quill from his robes and made a portkey with it, one minute later he had disappeared from the Headmaster's office and from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Immediately he appeared in the middle of a room that was double the size of any Hogwarts house's common room, with a couple of green chairs, two sofas, and a coffee table, a very elegant room.
In front of him were three teenagers, two boy and a girl, no older than seventeen, the girl had bushy brown hair and brown eyes, a very beautiful young witch a boy to her right with messy black hair and brilliant green eyes that made him looked older, tall and well built, round rimmed glasses and a scar in his forehead shaped like a lightning bolt, the boy could have easily been mistaken for one James Potter if it weren't for his eyes and scar, and a boy to the girl's left that had red hair, freckles in his face, taller that the other two.
Just after he appeared in the room the three teenagers turned to look at him with raised wands that they lowered after they saw who it was, which made him even more suspicious, since he was sure he had never seen these teenagers before.
"Who are you and how did you get in?"
