Here's chapter four! A long one so please enjoy. Also, review and tell me what you think, please!

Chapter 4 Headstrong

"Haruhi! Zane!" Haruhi and I blinked as Tamaki kicked the man in the face with his shirt unbuttoned. Haruhi and I stepped to the side as the doctor crashed into the wall from Tamaki's kick.

"One. Good looks that attract the public eye." Hikaru and Kaoru said in sync.

"Two. More wealth than you can imagine." Kyoya spoke coolly.

"Three. Chivalry that will never be able to overlook, " Mori's voice rumbled.

"...the hideousness of this world." Honey finished.

"That's what makes up the Ouran Host Club!" Tamaki said.

"Watch out!" They all said together.

The man quivered and pleaded for the boys not to hurt him. Yabu, as we came to know him by, then went on with his story.

"What a terrible name for a doctor..unless your a quack."

"I know, but I was here to see my daughter. My wife left me last month and took her with her, but I know that she attends school here." He said sadly.

"But why did she leave you?" Haruhi questioned.

Apparently the guy was a total softie and too trusting, therefore, got run over by his patients. He was also apparently a drinker, another good reason for his wife to leave him.

"Is that why you reek of Absinthe?" I said nonchalantly before he could answer Haruhi. His eyes showed he knew exactly what I was talking about, so I went on. "No wonder why I could smell it all morning."

"And how would you know it was alcohol?" Haruhi was such an uptight person lecturing me. "I hope you haven't drunk, your underage!"

I grabbed her hand and patted her head. "Don't worry I think I can hold my liquor, besides; it 's been a while since I've had a drink."

She just sighed, but the look in her brown eyes told me she would talk to me about it later. Yabu started talking as soon as I said the last word, leaving everyone in the room shocked at his eagerness to be pitied.

He went on about he got mistaken for a doctor to check students, then got labeled as a pervert when he was asking for some direction.

"Well, of course, you're wearing a lab coat...anyone would mistake you."

"I was looking around, but then he started yelling at me and chasing me with his friend!" He pointed to Elias who was probably thinking, 'what the heck!?'

Ash just mumbled, "It wasn't my fault."

"Then before I knew it all these random people were chasing me!" Yabu cried.

"SO TRAGIC!" Tamaki whined coming to the doctors' aid.

"Doctor Yabu, I think you might have the wrong place." Kyoya said. "Are you looking for Ourin public high school?"

To the doctors surprise he was definitely wrong.

"Man that's pretty sad. You don't even know what school your daughter goes to? I bet it wasn't the debt that ruined your relationship...I bet your relationship is messed up because you don't pay attention to her." I smiled slightly. I figured out those shady twins. Their voices were different if you listened to them enough. I couldn't wait to rub it in their faces at the proper time.

"Wow, Kyo-Chan! I'm impressed that you figured that out!"

"Well, there's no way that the daughter of such a small time doctor… would ever be able to get into Ouran Academy."

Tamaki then requested Kyoya to make a map with the directions to his daughter's school, leaving Haruhi with a surprised look.

"So why couldn't you have taken care of this for us Zane?" Kaoru said with his arms behind his head. "Yeah, the bad boy type, thought you would have saved the day so we wouldn't have to lift a finger." Hikaru said yawning.

"Are you serious?!" I seethed.

I noticed Ash and Elias just standing there awkwardly. I tried to get Ash's attention to find some way to get me out of this, so they wouldn't wonder why I'm in here, but he just shook his head apparently given up.

"Well, I suppose Zane would have if 'he' was capable." Kyoya said showing no emotion. Staring at his black notebook and writing.

"What do you mean by that?" The twins looked curiously at Kyoya.

"I mean that our new member is actually a girl."

My eyes widened and I slumped down to the ground.

Honey was in my face first thing, "Haha really Zan-chan? Now I don't have to hesitate to call you cute!"

Tamaki was next crying like the soap opera queen he is. "I UNDERSTAND NOW! My dear daughter was rebelling because….." Tamaki's voice went on in the background droning. I wasn't listening because Mori was right there. He looked shocked, but not the kind of shocked face you would get from any of the other hosts. It was all in his eyes. He offered his hand but I brushed it off and smiled, hopefully showing them all how capable I was.

"...she was so offended by us not noticing her femininity, that she just had to let out her anger!" His hand was on his forehead with his other in the pocket of his trousers.

I stood next to Mori just staring at Tamaki and his stupidity. Afterwords we had to go back to our regularly scheduled classes, and as usual I came to the Club Room that afternoon but found no one in sight.

"Hey! Hey! What are you doing?!" Something cloth-like covered my eyes plunging them into darkness and I was pulled back by the twins. I knew it was those two by the designer cologne that they wore. I was thrown into a seat and tied up. The cloth was pulled off my eyes and my eyes adjusted quickly as usual to the darkness. A bright light was turned on and I was at the mercy of Honey Senpai himself.

"Alright." Honey's eyes narrowed. "You're in custody! We have any right to question you...and your motives. And if you lie FACE THE CONSEQUENCES!" I was taken aback by him because I couldn't believe he could be this threatening.

"This interrogation is called to order, to question our newest member's motives to decide if she deserves to continue membership in this Host Club." Tamaki stood speaking to everyone in the room. "Everyone may have their turn to speak."

Everyone made a salute to King and then turned back to me.

They were all dressed in police outfits and I wondered when they got the time to change in such a short time.

"First order of business!" Honey sat in the chair across from me at the wooden table, looking even shorter when compared to the table. I found his serious face adorable, but resisted the urge to laugh and ruin the boys little thing they were doing. "What kind of...ice cream do you like?" I decided to lie just to see what his 'consequences' would be, or if he would even catch on.

"Vanilla."

He gasped and his eyes got wider, but took on his serious face once again.

"Well according to this essay you wrote about yourself in your English class it's double fudge brownie ice cream!"

I forgot about that thing. Oh well.

"I'm going to have to punish you now!" Oh no, he was a mad man! I laughed so hard my stomach hurt as he shoved cake in my mouth until Mori pulled him away.

"Hey, can you spare a tissue?" I said to anyone. Mori pulled out a kerchief from the pocket of his police uniform. My hands were tied up tightly, nothing I couldn't get out of myself, but he wiped the happy tears away himself and little bits of cake away from my face.

"I could have done it myself you know." I wiggled my hands a bit.

"Yeah and risk you running away?" Hikaru said.

I laughed nervously. "What? I would never-"

Tamaki sat down in the chair now. "Do you enjoy this club?"

How many days have I known these guys? Maybe a week?

"No" I said in a deadpan voice.

Tamaki went into the darkest corner of the room and sulked growing some mushrooms.

Haruhi looked with curious but a firm look on her face. "So have you ever consumed any alcohol? You know you're underage. And that's illegal anyways!"

"Haruhi calm it down. Besides its been a long time since I've had a drink so don't worry!"

Haruhi looked like she would lecture some more but the twins just picked her up out of the chair and began with their question. Kaoru sat in Hikaru's lap with his arm around his neck now. "What is the most embarrassing thing about yourself?" I sighed. Wasn't this supposed to be about my being a girl? This was so off topic.

"Well if I sneeze too many times I start to drool..." They looked kind of disgusted.

"Seriously?"

"Yup." I said simply.

Mori sat down slowly, awkwardly fitting in the chair. He just looked at me for a while. I wondered if he was going to ask me a real question since he was so serious all the time, but...he didn't. At least I didn't think it was relevant...

"Whats your favorite animal?"

"Well if it's eating then I like elk. They are quite tasty." I licked my lips. Mori's eyes went wide, shocked.

I laughed gently eyes softening.

"Papilio Ulysses. The butterfly, you know, the ones that are blue and black." He turned back to cool Mori and nodded. He got back up again and stood with the others.

A folder was tossed on the table, scattering the papers within everywhere. It was my file, I knew most of the stuff in there was a lie, orchestrated by Ash. I cautiously looked up at Kyoya. His eyes teemed with anger that would have been hidden well from anybody but his friends. He didn't even sit down like the others.

"Your file says your male, but as we all know you're not." He pushed his glasses up and they glared in the light. "How exactly did you plan this without my team of spies knowing? I find it hard to believe that it was just you, so who was it?" His lips pressed into a hard line he continued. "How can we trust you when you entered this school hiding all of this information, much less allow you to continue your stay here?"

I fakely gulped and acted scared.

I could tell he seemed to salvaged some of his pride by seeing me thrash around, but I quickly dropped him from his happy place.

"Haha!" I propped my feet up on the table, hands still tied up to the chair, and smirked.

"II'mnot scared of you Ootori, but I do find you cute though." Kyoya scowled at my remark sitting down and stacking all the papers back up neatly.

"First off I'm not going to talk while I'm tied up so give a lady some respect will ya?" I said not really asking 'them' to untie me, I planned on busting out of them just for shock value. I did so smiling at the shocked faces of everyone.

I put my feet down and sat normally.

"This is some top secret information so my 'people' will come and get you if you speak about it to anyone." I made a motion like I was slitting my throat.

"Nothing leaves this room." Tamaki laid a hand on my shoulder.

"Well as you may know Kyoya, The Blackwoods Co. is world renowned. We have branches that make the finest weapons and even distribute them. We have connections to many other countries, companies, and militaries. Your private police force may have even bought from us. With our power in this field there are some that want to silence my family. Recently we've been keeping low while we find a way to deal with the problem. Thus I had to disguise myself." I took a breath and upon seeing Kyoya's waiting stare I continued.

"And as for the one who planned this, come back to me when you've figured it out."

He sighed heavily. "I guess thats all I'm going to get out of you then."

"So whats the verdict men and lady?" Tamaki announced.

I watched them whisper in a huddle then standing straight. "Raise your hand if you think she deserves to stay."

Mori first, then Honey followed. Thats two on my side. Hikaru, Kaoru, no. Tamaki was the judge so it didn't count. Haruhi yes! I stared Kyoya down. "I don't trust you, but I'm keeping my eyes on you..." He said glasses glaring.

...

"Oh My Gosh! I can't believe it! He's crying!" All my guests fainted at the sight of 'the bad boy' crying. A mousy looking girl clung unto my arm very worried, so I spoke coldly thrusting my arm away.

"Im fine. Just leave me alone." I walked away with my hands at my sides in a defensive manner. "Alright ladies that's Zane's last time slot for today, thanks for coming." Kyoya politely said.

"Aww!" They looked over sadly at me waving bye. I was leaning on table and making sexy eyes at them. "Bye ladies."

They squealed as Kyoya ushered them out.

It looked like Tamaki was finally done too, he usually had the most guests, therefore took up more time.

I scanned the room lazily and did a double take when I saw a head peeking out from the doorway.

"Here take them all Haruhi!" Tamaki put a ton of little candies in Haruhi's hands. I had just been standing by and watching as Haruhi found out about the world of fake tears. "Let me guess they're fake."

"What! My tears are always genuine! My romantic overtures do not seem to be reaching you for some reason." He flipped his hair in a flamboyant way. "Perhaps I should add a little panache to my character."

They seemed to have finally notice the girl along with the others. "Looks like we have a new guest."

Hikaru and Kaoru made their move, bringing a red rose each.

"Come on in" Hikaru began. "Watching from afar is no fun." And as usual his brother ended the sentence. "Please Miss."

Their flirting didn't seem to be working on the girl, so Tamaki moved in to save her.

"How many times do I have to tell you boys to be courteous to first-time guests! Come on you don't have to be afraid, welcome to the Ouran Host Club."

The girl made little noises and she seemed like a rather shy girl at first.

"Get away from me you-PHONY!"

I gasped in shock along with my fellow host members.

The kings foolishness had been revealed publicly. I watched as every little negative word she said to him shot through him like an arrow, literally. "I don't suppose you are.."

Tamaki fell down to floor in his normal fashion and Renge stepped on him, eyes widening as she saw a certain bespectacled teen.

"Its you Kyoya! Oh how I've longed to meet you! My one and only prince charming! My fiance!"

"Your fiance? Kyoya Senpai?" The twins questioned. I just stared unbelieving, leaning on the couch the boys were sitting on. 'Just what kind of girl would Ootori like?'

"Of course. My name is Renge Houshakuji, and I'm transferring here as a first year tomorrow."

I glanced back at Tamaki to see if he was still on the floor, but instead he was sulking in a corner of woe.

"Why is he sulking?"

"Because Mommy was keeping a secret from Daddy."

"What on earth? Why does everyone insist to keep referring to us as that."

"OOoo, Mommy is having an affair." I whispered to the twins.

We all turned to Kyoya each crossing our index fingers and shaking our heads. "Shame, shame, Kyoya." The twins ducked out of the way, yet I stayed still as he came closer to me. I was expecting him to say something witty back but instead he flicked my nose. I stood there glaring at him, until Renge caught his attention.

"It was love at first sight!" Renge wiggled around going on about her love for Kyoya. "The way you were adoring those flowers, while no one was looking, and the way you kindly picked up the stray kitty!"

"What are you talking about?" The twins said confused.

"Could you have the wrong person?" Haruhi said.

Renge said defending herself, "No! You can't fool these eyes!"

"He's someone who is kind to everyone!" My face scrunched up into confusion, as I wandered around the room alongside all the others wondering who in the world the girl was talking about.

"But he doesn't want anybody to take notice of him. He loves solitude but is actually lonesome! He looks just like the star of the love sim, Uki Doki Memorial, Ichijo Miyabi-Kun! That's you!" Renge said pointing at a slightly surprised Kyoya.

The terrible realization hit everyone. "She's an OTAKU!"

Mori was still cool as ever, not reacting at all. "I've never seen one before!"

Renge danced around the room in an infatuated daze as Kyoya spoke.

"I see now. You're in love with that character. You're projecting the character unto me, even going so far to made up fantasies that we are engaged. That Miyabi-Kun probably wears glasses too right?"

"Deluded you say? Then all that stuff about her being your fiance, its fake?" I asked.

"Did I ever say it was true? To be honest I've never even met her until today." He just sat there not worried about it at all. My shoulders slumped alongside the other hosts. 'He could have told us sooner.'

I sat in between the twins on the couch opposite the dark haired 2nd year and the crazy girl that was calling herself his fiance. I crossed my arms, listening to the bright eyed girl.

"I understand you administer everything about the club."

"Thats right Kyo-Chan is our boss!" Honey affirmed in his usual fashion.

"How fitting! I've always dreamed of being the mascot girl for a store!"

"We don't need a manager we're a host club." The twins said deadpan.

Renge didn't listen to a word the two said and instead kept talking about taking the position of the manager.

Tamaki leaned down. "Hey Kyoya…" He started to probably complain about Renge.

"She is the daughter of a client of my fathers, I can't risk her unhappiness."

"I look forward to working with all of you."

Tamaki decided later that having a female manager might not be so bad. I found myself wondering what was going through his head.

"And why exactly?" The twins questioned.

"You see she's going to be transferring in the same class as Haruhi. Maybe having a lady around might bring out her feminine side."

"This is the perfect opportunity for Haruhi to make some friends! All she has right now are those shady twins, and Zane!" He pleaded, then almost immediately realized his mistake seeing my glare.

"You're in no position to be talking right now."

"And what exactly does that mean? Am I not considered a good friend? I'm a girl too." I crossed my arm, expecting an answer quickly.

"It's nothing really-I mean my daughter you're not exactly, well, you don't set that good of-" Tamaki stuttered out, waving his arms.

"What he means is that you're not exactly a lady." Kyoya said suddenly.

"You don't need to dress up all fancy, wear makeup everyday, and act completely perfect all the time to be called a lady Kyoya." I snarled back.

"And that attitude isn't that great either."

I wanted to show him that I was perfectly capable of showing him how much of a lady I could be. I mean what kind of woman that he's met could have ever stayed in a corset as long as I have?

"Hi everyone! You'll be happy to know that your new manager Renge has baked all of you some cookies! " I heard the bright voice of Renge, entering the room, the next day.

Tamaki of course was over there in a hot minute,"Oh isn't she lady-like? I'm so moved by your generosity!"

"I didn't make them for you, you phony prince." Tamaki's ego, or at least what he had left was bruised once again by this chick.

I blinked watching Renge talk to Ootori. "I'm sorry if they're burnt, I did the best I could."

Honey and I took one.

"Wow, these are burnt." Honey said sadly.

"Mitsukuni, Zane, don't eat that it's bad for you." Mori hovered over us protectively, body heat radiating on me as he took the cookies away. I breathed him in as inconspicuously as possible, wondering lightheartedly, if he saw me he might think I was weird. He smelled nice, a wild scent. I turned my head towards Renge and I could see the little honey haired girl getting angry.

Renge started chasing us, her hair turning into snakes.

I lost Renge, and she was still chasing the guys. 'Hehe Mori can handle her.'

I stopped by Haruhi who now had the cookies and was about to try one. I still wanted to try it, no matter what Mori said. I was sure I'd be fine.

I reached for one, but Hikaru grabbed my hand, placing it in my mouth instead. His face kept getting closer to my mouth ajar, taking a bite of it.

"Hey! Who gave you permission to steal my cookie?"

Hikaru, who still had half of my cookie in his mouth, stared at me in amusement.

I looped my arm around his waist and pulled him close. My other hand grabbed the back of his neck and pushed his face closer to mine. I took the other half of the cookie from his mouth with my lips lightly brushing against his. I leaned in closer and whispered in his ear breathily. "Don't try to start something you can't finish, my dear."

"Haha Hikaru, I guess that didn't work on Zane either." Kaoru said laughing at his brother's extremely red face. I looked down at Haruhi holding her cheek, she looked kind of confused, so I figured they got bored and decided to see if Haruhi would react to the same stunt they just pulled on me.

"What are you two doing?!" Tamaki yelled out, pointing to the twins.

"Haruhi! You're not supposed to react like that, and just let them do it!"

Tamaki turned to lecture me too embarrassed. "And you! Have the twins corrupted you? Don't just go along with their evil, whispering into ears and whatnot!"

While we were all occupied with Tamaki's antics, Renge, unfortunately, was scheming.

"You all are not good enough! Everyone of you lack a shadowy side! Young ladies are suckers for that kinda stuff! With all of your ridiculous antics now it's likely that girls will soon grow tired of you! I as the manager will give you all new characters!" I groaned, standing beside Kyoya.

I watched her point to Honey scaring him. "Let's start with you! If all you are on the inside and outside is cute, you're no different from a child! Therefore… you're going to be a vicious leader of your group of hoodlums!"

"And you Morinozuka-Sempai, your his underling!"

"The twins are basketball players that close themselves off in their own world!"

"Haruhi is a brilliant student but susceptible to relentless bullying!"

"Tamaki even though you're the academies idol you have a serious complex. You're the lonely prince!"

Renge was calling out roles so quickly I hardly had time to think of what mine would be. I stared at her coldly as she contemplated.

"Hmm I can tell that you put on that tough exterior all the time. You're going to be someone who is looked down on all the time for your looks, and who you are! You're sick of the way Honey runs things."

Renge then turned to Kyoya happily, "And you don't have to change because you're already perfect!"

Tamaki stumbled around spotlight on him, and sparkles everywhere. "A lonely prince… it fits me perfectly indeed!" I fell into a pit of despair myself upon seeing Tamaki , trying out his role. With him this could very easily get out of hand.

I looked around for Kyoya, grabbing his shoulder. "Please do something about this!"

"Yeah but the president seems to be up for it."

We looked over to Tamaki, and he quivered going leaning up against the wall.

"Is this lonely enough for you Renge-kun?" I sweatdropped. Yup. There was no way we could stop him now.

"Well let's see how things turn out..maybe it will be interesting, probably."

I scowled raising an eyebrow.

...

My final lyrics spilled out of my mouth nicely, settling over the cheering crowd. The second I walked off the stage I went back to my usual self, the timid singer. When I was up there I felt alive, like I actually meant something.

I walked outside the venue, into the quiet alleyway beside it. My eyes widened when I noticed I wasn't alone.

"What's this? Are You trying to act cool, leaning up against the wall like that? Those blue stripes in your hair just look gay."

I stared not moving from my position, but this just seemed to piss the guys off. One of them made a step closer to me grabbing my arm, "You think you're too good to talk to us huh tough guy?"

I jerked my arm back running away into the park. They chased me throwing bottles, and my striped shirt got torn by the trees I rushed by. I finally lost them after a while, when it started to rain heavily. I pounded into a tree suddenly, dazing me, bringing my heart back down to its normal pace.

I'm such a coward. An incredibly big one. I felt tears begin to stream down. I put all my pent up emotions into one punch, slamming my fist into the tree.

"Why! I'm such a mockery to my family's name! Why can't I even stand up for myself once?!"

"What a crybaby." I came face to face with Mitsukuni, the toughest guy I probably will ever know. I put a cold mask of indifference on my face, tears blending in with the rain. I narrowed my eyes.

"If you want to fight just say the words."

He laughed and said, "Yeah you think I'd waste my time on you? You must be joking."

I looked to the right of him and saw Takashi.

"You should take the time to find a real friend Takashi, not a coward like him." I walked away from the scene, the silent Mori ,and the seething character Honey was playing.

"CUT!"

I heard someone yell. I blinked and turned to Honey. "Wow you did well. Thought you wouldn't be good at playing that type of personality."

"Are you kidding! It was soo hard Zan-chan! I can't believe I was so mean to you!"

"Don't worry about it Honey! You didn't hurt my feelings!" I said trying to convince a hysterical Honey as the three of us walked off set to sit in our specially made chairs.

"Tamaki you're up next!"

I watched as Tamaki went into his acting mode walking into the fake rain of the set, going into his dramatic princely dialogue. I sighed feeling bored, propping my elbow up on the armrest. My eyes trailed to find Mori. He was just sitting there, watching Tamaki blankly, glancing over at Honey in the chair between us every once and a while.

Honey suddenly turned to look at me eyes widening slightly, I wondered how they could possibly get bigger, but they did. "Hey Takashi, I'm going to so get some cake! Don't wait up!" Honey was already too far away by the time he'd realized what was going on.

"You wanna go for a walk?" I asked hopefully.

There were a few things about Morinozuka I didn't quite understand yet.

Like how he was walking so oddly staring straight ahead with his hands in his pockets. Or how his eyes seemed to look so lazy and tired yet he was aware of everything.

I breathed in the smell of shrubbery and bark, appreciating that I had such a quiet comrade to share my time with. My shoes made the leaves crinkle below, and whatever branches in the ground snap. I took this time to think over all that had happened lately. I felt like I had been on an adrenaline rush, and I was just coming down from it.

All in a matter of weeks my family had found a magnificent new manor here in Tokyo, a lovely accommodation, similar in architecture styles to the house I grew up in, in Britain. But it didn't have the history, nor the allure of "The Blackwood's Manor", built a few hundred years ago.

I missed it. I thought eyes were lowering slightly.

That brought me back to where I am now, attending this completely pink Academy for the social elite. My dad had said that it was just someone trying to sabotage us again, nothing threatening.

Nothing threatening? It's definitely something.

I decided not to dwell on things as I usually do, freaking out about things sometimes. I was only a bit surprised at myself before when Kyoya was interrogating me about it.

I chuckled wondering how long it would take him to figure out it was my brother who came up with the plan for getting past his "spies."

Also! The boys ideas about how an interrogation would go were way off. I knew Haruhi didn't have anything to do with that hilarious mess. I thought back to Honey shoving cake into my mouth, getting a giddy feeling.
I blushed remembering how gently Mori wiped my tears away. In that moment he made me feel like a fragile soap bubble, something I wasn't used to being treated like. It was a foreign feeling, that made me go a bit feverish.

I liked it but at the same time, I didn't want him to be afraid that I would 'pop.'

The deal we had made earlier today came to the surface of my thoughts once again.

"So you still up for that fight? I can't wait to see how good you are!" I turned to Mori excited for this afternoon.

'Uh' was all I heard him say.

"What?" I asked him giving him a shadow of a doubt, and one more chance.

"Well, I can't.." Mori began, but I just stopped realizing what I thought was going to happen just happened.

I held my hand up while I placed my other hand on my hip in a bold way.

"So you're not going to fight me...just because I'm a girl?" He just stared in his stoic way back.

"Ah hah." I spat out unbelieving, dropping the hand that was raised down.

"Come on. Do I look like one of those other girls at this school?" I said jokingly hoping it would persuade him, but he looked me over, face serious.

He was only about a arms width away from me. I decided to playfully push him, he didn't try to stop me at all.

I sighed.

"You wanna play hide n seek?"

It was funny to hear Mori's deep voice sounding out numbers. I was crouched up in a tree, hopefully hidden well from Mori's sight. After a while I saw him come into view. I held my breath as he came to the tree I was in. We caught, eyes and I knew he was thinking inside 'I found you.'

He was at ease, probably thinking I had given up on the idea of fighting him, but I was far from that. I readied myself, prepared to land a kick on his chest.

My foot connected with what I thought was his chest. I heard him fall to the ground groaning. I landed as artfully as I was trained to, feeling awesome.

But then I raised my head up locking eyes with the kendo captain himself. His whole face showed an amount of emotion I had never seen before from him. He was holding his cheek, mouth slack staring at me.

My mouth slowly went from a smirk to an open gape. I covered my mouth as my face got redder and redder. I scrambled over to him, kicking up leaves and such, before hovering my hands over him.

"I am so sorry!" I said quickly. "I just meant to land one in your chest, that wouldn't have hurt as much as your face! Are you okay?"

I sat on my legs, touching the hand that on his face. I gently lifted his large warm hand away from the area, assessing the damage.

I furrowed my brows, seeing that his cheek was a brilliant red.

I touched my fingers to his neck, just because it was a place to rest my hand. I felt his heart beat in his jugular quickly. Probably because of an adrenaline rush, from what just happened.

His face was back to its normal stoic state now, eyes searing into me as I lingered.

I cleared my throat, then laughed awkwardly, leaning back up.

"Well lets hope that doesn't leave a bruise!"

I stood up and held my hand out for him.

For a brief moment, when I caught eyes with Mori after landing, I thought,

'Oh god, I just accidentally kicked Mori in the face.'

Afterwords Honey found the two of us, saying it was time for Mori's next scene, so we all walked back on set.

"CUE THE RAIN!"

"I'm so envious of you two. The way you support each other."

"But Suoh Senpai how can you be envious of us? You're the schools idol."

"Your right. I hate that everyone worships me for something so superficial as my appearance. It would be much better for me.. to be alone."

Renge's prerecorded voice over was playing which Tamaki and the twins did their scene.

Next was Mori, Honey, and Haruhi's scene.

"You can't run away forever." Haruhi slumped down in despair against the tree.

"Imma show you what happens to anybody that crosses me."

"Don't do it, Mitsukuni, you should have realized by now that whenever you hurt others, you're really just hurting yourself."

Mori said warning him.

"Did I ask for your advice? You want me to put you over my knee again?"

"You know it really pisses me off when people don't know their place."

I heard a whimper from Honey and just like that he broke character. I was about to say 'come on you were doing so well!' but Renge's loud and rude shriek stopped me.

"CUT!"

"What's wrong with you? You gotta stick to the script!"

"But I can't!"

"Stop rolling cameraman.."

I ignored the nagging of Renge and walked over to everyone. The twins had taken up some film chairs while Kyoya was behind them taking notes, (that's a surprise ),quietly.

"How'd it go from changing our characters to shooting a movie about it?"

"And whys there an entire film crew here?"

"Apparently she flew them in from Hollywood." Kyoya seemed amused by Renge's antics, and it annoyed me slightly.

The twins just went off into a conversation about their roles, and I walked over to talk to Kyoya. I leaned up against the white wall next to him crossing my arms.

"And, why are we doing this again?"

"Well because Tamaki thought it might be fun, and he is our president."

I let my arms hang then looked pleadingly at him.

"But come on. Don't you think that what Renge is doing is a little ridiculous?"

"Well it isn't as absurd as things we've done in the past, or probably will do in the future." Kyoya rolled his eyes at the last part.

"Well, I'll tell you, if Renge wants me do something stupid, I ain't doing it."

He chuckled a bit.

"Besides, you don't seem like the type of guy who would put up with this stuff."

"Sometimes we all need to go along with whatever happens in life, and if things get out of control then, take control obviously. At least that's something that I believe to be true."

"Why wait for Renge to come all the way here and then just stop her if she gets out of control? I know that you said she is a daughter of one of your father's business partners but shes not really that important is she?"

His glasses glinted in the sunlight, silver shining brightly, lenses glaring. "And why is this of interest to you?" He smirked.

"Well I was just asking.."

While I still had Kyoya's attention I asked him one more thing. I recalled a particular moment in my life when I thought all hope was lost.

"So say things got out of control and there was nothing that you could possibly do about it," I said biting my lip, hugging myself. "What would you do then?"

He looked shocked at me for a moment and then sternly replied, "I always prepare for the unexpected."

'But what if the unexpected was something you could never fathom Kyoya?'

I was pulled from my dazed thoughtful state when I heard someone yell. "You don't even know me!"

"I'll go see what's going on." I said hurriedly, not wanting to be in a nostalgic mood anymore, or worried about how Kyoya was acting towards Renge.

I found Haruhi, and Renge being confronted by these two guys that looked pretty thuggish. One was yelling at Renge and pushed her roughly into the wall. I would have saved her but Haruhi beat me to it.

I gasped when I saw Haruhi slump to the ground.

"Those guys were right Renge, if you judge someone by their outward appearance you'll never see the person inside."

Renge made a confused noise, "I-I don't understand what your trying to say.

Tamaki swung around the corner of the building , "What happened Haruhi?"

Tamaki's face went from a look of concern to a look of dominance, when he saw Haruhi's tears.

I was shocked when he abruptly slammed one of the boys up against the wall with such fierceness I never thought I'd see from him.

"Which one of you jerks started this?"

"Wait Suoh . Its not what you think! That girl started it!"

"He's telling the truth, Sempai. It wasn't their fault. They were provoked."

I guess that Renge was messing with them. Oh well that her nature isn't it?

"Haruhi, are you alright?" Tamaki's eyes shined in a charming way that I admired as he took Haruhi's face into his hands.

I laughed inside when Haruhi had to break the moment by being so blunt.

"Yeah, it's just my contact."

"Your..contact?"

"Yeah. I guess it must've slipped out."

Tamaki chuckled lightly then stared talking about something only he would care about.

"You can finally cry without eye drops! You're a full-fledged host now!"

I stopped paying attention to them and looked down at pavement. I was kind of bored today. I couldn't wait to go home and see what my family was up to. Even Elias's pranks would be better than shooting this dumb movie.

A fight with someone would be fun right now, but my new candidate, The Silent 'M' ,won't compete. I groaned.

Mori wouldn't even fight me just because I'm a girl (which I will definitely find a way to convince him in the future) Kyoya.. I don't know why I'm being so tense around him lately. I haven't felt weird around him before…

I sighed, being idle I couldn't help but think about if Kyoya even had a sliver of liking for Renge. He was such an odd person.

I wish that I didn't zone out whenever I was thinking because then I would know the reason why Kyoya so suddenly broke a camera lens into a million pieces.
