Wahhh! I'm soooo sooooo so sorry for the super late update! Well I guess apologizing won't do any good, I'll just be a good girl and upload this chapter for everyone... Without anymore rambling... Hehe... I'll try to write as much as I can for a week to make it up okay? (You don't have to agree, I'll do it anyways! ^_^) Oh and I actually tried writing something new! Not too bad I hope...

Ah yes, the disclaimer, I obviously do not own Fushigiboshi no Futagohime, or it's characters, because do you see any Rein x Shade or Fine x Bright in the ending? No. So onto da story!

3rd PoV

The twins gulped, and grabbed each other tightly.

Rein asked shakily, "U-Um do we h-have to go in there?" She pointed to the building that they were dragged in front of by no other than Shade. It wasn't a very pretty building, nor was it new. The paint was peeling off, some windows were boarded up or broken, the open door swung slightly in the wind and creaked hoarsely. A sigh that read "Come In, If You Dare." written with what suspiciously looked like blood, was dangling over the front porch.

"Of course," Shade cast a sideways smirk at Rein, who was growing paler and paler by the second.

A sudden noise made Fine jump, "W-What was that?" She looked around frantically and spotted an eerie glow in the house's graveyard. She screamed and buried her face in Rein's arms.

Flashback Time!

In front of an amusement park, two people, one with mysterious purple hair, and one with pink, could be seen waiting. The taller, purple haired, guy was pacing around, muttering to himself with a dark aura around him.

"Where are they?" Shade growled, tapping his foot impatiently, "they are LATE!"

Fine sweatdropped, "It'll be fine Sha-"

"SORRY WE'RE LATE!" Someone barreled into Shade and sent them sprawling on the ground. It was Rein, all messed up and panting. Bright wasn't far behind and reached to help Rein up, "Thank you Bright-sama!"

After brushing off the dirt, Shade glared at Rein, "Do you know what time it is?"

"Um sorry?" was the girl's nervous reply she tried to back away from Shade. He grabbed her arm.

Quickly, Fine separated the two, not wanting them to start another fight, not after the last one. However, Shade was far from done with the blue haired princess. Oh no, he was just getting started, but who was he to disobey Fine?

Rein caught the evil look in his eyes, she knew that the revenge was not going to be pretty.

Flashback End

This is all Shade's fault! Rein thought miserably as they walked into the haunted mansion. She whimpered slightly.

Bright gave her hand a reassuring squeeze, "It's okay Rein, I will protect you." The gesture made her feel calmer, but it still didn't completely wash away the fear. The farther they went, the colder and darker it got, until they were shrouded entirely by darkness. A single light marked the entrance.

Fine had now let go of Rein and was using Shade as a teddy bear. She jumped at every little sound. Shade awkwardly petted her head and continued to endure being suffocated by a terrified Fine, which isn't very fun. They continued their path up the front steps and finally, through the door. Suddenly the door slammed shut behind them and disappeared. Torches were placed randomly inside the house to make seeing things possible, but provided no farther light. She thought she heard the wind laugh maniacally as more victims entered the house.

Traps littered the floor and hidden mechanisms made axes and swords come down from the ceiling. The four treaded lightly and carefully down the dark hallway. Without warning, Rein stepped on a pressure plate, and arrows rained down. Bright unsheathed his sword and deflected all the arrows, but unleashed a second set of traps. The walls started closing in on them, trapping them in a room full of monsters. Shade took out his whip.

The monsters were seemingly indestructible, every time Bright or Shade would defeat one, it would turn into smoke and reform again. They were now stuck in the center of the room, with no way out and monsters surrounding them.

"Rein, Princess Fine," Bright called out as he tried to decapitate a monster, "Can you transform?" Said monster drifted away in smoke form and reappeared in the corner.

"But, but," Fine stuttered, "the angels ar-"

*poof* the angels came flying out of nowhere. Rein's eyes bulged, "Where d-"

Shade demanded impatiently, "Never mind where they came from! Just hurry and and transform!" Fine and Rein looked at each other, shrugged, and transformed.

"Fa-la-li-la!" "La-la-li-la!" The monsters were no match for them. As soon as the light washed over them, they howled in pain and vanished. The walls went back to normal.

*Clap* *Clap* Someone from behind them clapped slowly, "That was an impressive trick, I applaud you for making it through my pets." Rein wheeled around and came face to face with a pair of bright green eyes. They could just make out the long, flowing brown hair. A girl, no older than 16, looked at them with an amused expression.

"Who are you?" Shade spat, "and what do you mean your pets?"

She shifted her gaze at smirked at Shade, "Me? I'm no one you need to know. And as for my pets, well they're exactly what I said, they're my pets. Pity you two," a skinny finger point at the twins, and the boys moved in front of them protectively," had to defeat them, I spent a long time training them you know? You just wasted a couple of centuries of my hard work!" The stranger pouted like a child, but her eyes held a sinister glint.

"But you can't be that old-"

"What if," she drawled, "I was immortal?" She grinned, sharp fangs just barely visible. Rein's eyes widened in horror and proceeded to scream her head off, before fainting. Fine had already fainted. (Mwuahahahaha... Ah yes... I tried writing this... Keyword tried anyways...)

Sooo, yeah I had a sudden urge to try something about vampires, so here you go! Hope you guys liked this chapter! I like vampires recently, I think they're cool... Anyways. Here is Chapter 4, and I will be working on chapter 5 now so stay tuned! (Oh god I sound like those people on TV and radio.. -_-) Please tell me how you like my story and R&R plz! Byebye!
