I'm SO sorry it took me this long! I went back and edited all of the old chapters so you should go back if you don't wanna get confused. Just so you all know, Nejis' name is now Ivan. Virtual cookies for whoever can guess why! Any who, enough of my boring rambling, ON WITH THE STORY!

~ Lina's POV~

I groaned in pain as the dirt and rocks on the ground dug into my skin. Luckily it didn't draw any blood. Looking up I saw my personal bully and self proclaimed chief of the kokiri, Mio. She had short orange hair that went down to her shoulders and freckles sprinkled across her nose. She was waring ankle length green pants, and a short sleeved lime-green shirt along with a matching hat. She sneered down at me and held out a hand infrount of her, preventing me from getting any closer.

"Well hello there, Freak. Where do you think your going? Only people with fairy's and permission from the great deku tree are aloud to come through here, and I don't think you have any of those."

I glared at her and opened my mouth to speak, only to get cut off by Ivan, who had turned a light shade of red to express his anger.

"For you information Snotty, she has both. Now if you'll excuse us, we have business to attend to. ", he said smugly, obviously taking pleasure in seeing her jaw drop in shock at the sight of him. Quickly recovering, she glared at him and said "Well you still can't go through! It's dangerous, you'll need a sword and shield before I can let you through. Now get outta my sight!"

I was already leaving and Ivan reluctantly followed, but not before flicking Mio off, not that she could see it. Lina sighed in annoyance. Now where am I supposed to find a sword and shield? This is impossible...

"Nothing is impossible!", Ivan suddenly exclaimed. I froze suddenly. How did he-

Hear your thoughts? That's easy! When fairy's form bonds with they're partners, they also form a mind connection that lets us speak to each other without anyone else listening. Cool huh?

I was speechless. I'd never heard of that before! "That's...AWESOME!", I exclaimed excitedly. I could tell he was smirking, but I didn't care, it really was cool.

"Anyway," he continued, " I know where to get a sword. I saw one a while ago, and we can always go buy a shield, so chin up kid! We can't let that snot face get us down!", he exclaimed making me giggle. I think with Ivan around, things were going to turn out just fine.
