A…. Chaos Emerald? – Asked Tails to himself, confused.

Well, that's… uh… strange… - Said Sonic, also confused.

What are Chaos Emeralds? –Asked Doo Jr.

They are seven ancient emeralds tied to the Master Emerald and mystical relics with powerful properties and abilities. Those that hold the Chaos Emeralds can use their powers for a variety of things, such as initiating a super transformation, powering machines, and warping time and space. Anyone who combines all seven of the Chaos Emeralds can command ultimate power. – Explained Tails, only to find out that Doo Jr. was already sleeping.

DOO! – Yelled Tails, awakening Doo Jr and making him fire a laser beam at Tails.

Why are the Chaos Emeralds here? – Asked Knuckles.

Well, how are we supposed to know? – Said Sonic.

I don't know. – Said Knuckles.

Hmm…. Maybe I can use the Emeralds' power to reopen the Dimensional Warping Machine… - Thought Tails.

So, if there's one Chaos Emerald here, this means the others must be here too – Said Knuckles – That means all we have to do is find them, use them and go back to Earth!

Suddenly, Dedede appeared, with a horde of Scarfies, Golems, and Sir Kibbles.

Oh, the penguin's here! I have some things to settle with him. – Said Knuckles, whom quickly sprinted towards Dedede, and used a series of punches on him. – This is for calling me a hedgehog! – Then, Knux used his Meteor Crush move, which buried Dedede in rocks.

What the heroes weren't expecting was for a Waddle Dee who stole the Chaos Emerald Tails had in hand and gave it to Dedede.

With this, I can conquer Dream Land! Or maybe Pop Star! Or even the UNIVERSE! – Said Dedede, along with an evil laugh. Tails, seeing the penguin's plans, quickly spun his tails and started to fly towards Dedede. The penguin king, seeing the orange fox ready to punch him in the guts, ordered Cupies to attack Tails. But the fox was too mobile for his Cupie gang, evading all of the arrows. Tails quickly summoned his Chu2 bombs, which attacked Dedede's entire army. The king, hopeless, started to run. Still, Tails was faster than him, and the fox electrocuted Dedede using his Energy Ball Cannon. Dedede then dropped the Emerald, and after Tails recovering it, he defeated the rest of the army. Meanwhile, Kirby and Doo Jr were protecting the base from the Scarfies – Kirby quickly switched into Throw form, and then he grabbed a Golem, and threw it at a Scarfy gang, which led to the death of many Sir Kibbles. Kirby turned into Cutter form, and defeated some Waddle Dees too. Doo Jr grabbed Kirby, and tossed him at a Golem, which died after Fighter Kirby stroke him in his rocky guts. Sonic and Knuckles were hitting Scarfies like crazy. Knuckles started to punch everything in his way, while Sonic used Homing Attacks to reflect them at Knux, who killed them afterwards. After Dedede's loss, the team decided to rest for a little bit, while Tails kept working on the Dimensional Transporter, with the help of Chippy.

And, insert the Chaos Emerald here, join up these wires, set the coordinates, and…. No, that's not right. The equation must have been made wrong. Uh… there. Now let's try this way. Put the coordinates, join the wires, put the emerald, eat some apples, hack the system, change the settings, now… push the lever, and it should be working properly. – Thought Tails.

Hey Tails, aren't ya hungry from all that work? – Asked Sonic.

Yeah, I am. Is dinner ready? – Asked Tails to Kirby.

Po! – Answered the puffball.

They had a great dinner. After the food, the team went to see if the machine was working.

Tails, are you sure about this? I mean, some of your inventions have already failed – said Knuckles.

Like what inventions? – Asked the fox.

Well, take for instance, the Chaos Transporter – said Knuckles – Instead of manipulating Chaos Control's properties, it turned you into a girl (oh Jesus, Tailsic's stories make my day).

Yeah… - Said Tail - But I'm not a girl anymore.

OK, enough talk. Show us if this works! – Said Sonic.

Tails inserted the emerald in the container and pressed the button. And then…
