It had been three and half months since Dillan has been with Reno, and they have had a couple adventures in those months but nothing as big or scary as the one they're gonna have today and for the rest of the week, or maybe even longer.

"Come on sleepy head get up! Or were gonna be late yo!" Reno gently shook Dillan smirking as he did so and lays on top of him snidely.

Dillan whined as he was stirred awake and looked up at his father with slight annoyance. "What the heck man?" He then sat up stretching looking at his dad like he's insane.

Reno gave him the same annoyed look playfully. "I told you about this mission like five times Dill! We have to go to Wutai." The red haired man noted as he got up and out of bed, heading to the bathroom to get ready as quickly as possible.

"But daddy-" Dillan started to complain but was soon cut off by his father

"No buts Dillan we have to go or Tseng is gonna kick my butt!" The young father yelled from the shower. "Now get in here so you don't smell like dirt! I don't know why I let you play in the slums last night." He muttered as waited for his child impatiently.

The young auburn haired boy pouted at that not wanting to leave the bed... But he got up with a sigh to get ready, but then he saw his father's goggles and smirked, he quickly grabbed them and hid them away and ran into the bathroom. "I'm coming daddy!" He then took off his clothes and hopped into the shower.

"What were you doing out there?" Reno asked as he washed his hair quickly and brought Dillan to the front of him to get him under the shower to get soaked.

"Nothing daddy, why do you ask?" Dillan raised a brow then squeaked as he is soaked in water. "Ah that's too hot!" He whined as he quickly stepped back bumping into his father and making him lose his balance.

"Woah! Don't bump into people like that Dill.." The young father sighed as he leaned over to rinse his hair and turn the heat down some. "Sorry it was too hot baby, you okay?" He asks concerned as he hands Dillan some soap and started washing his hair gently with shampoo.

"Sorry daddy just surprised by how hot it was..." He noted quietly as he washed himself carefully, he smiles at his daddy washing his hair for him, it felt nice. "I'm okay.. Just a little red though." He noted quietly as he finished washing and rinsed all the soap and shampoo off.

"You like that buddy?" Reno asks as he finishs washing his hair and started conditioning his own as well as brushing it... Long hair is hard to take care of. He study his son's skin and saw he was definitely red, surprising since his son is pretty tan he thought he would be more pink. "The water got you good huh?" The redhead asked as he leaned over again to rinse his hair out.

"Yeah.. So daddy why do I have to go with you?" Dillan asks curiously as he looks up to his father shyly. "Is Bastion coming too..?"

"Because you can't be by yourself for a week! I would be worrying about you the whole time then me, Rude and Rex would probably end up captured and done for yo. And yes he is, Rex can't handle being away from him for like 3 hours.. It's a weird maternal/paternal thing.." He announced looking down at his son with a serious look, but softened his look seeing that Dillan is being shy. "Hey why are you acting all shy? I'm your daddy no need to be all shy around me." He crouched a bit so he was at his level now to make him more comfortable, he's noticed this for the past couple days or nights since they started showering together, He was growing concerned about it.

"What do you mean?" The little boy questioned back as he looked down at the tiles in the shower blushing.. And gets confused by that statement his father mentions about Rex. But then looks his father in the eye as soon as he was in a crouching position.

"Are you afraid of looking somewhere you shouldn't little guy?" Reno asked with a small laugh "or have you and just afraid I'll yell at you?" He smirked as he looked at his son, he was kidding but he could tell he was uncomfortable about taking a shower with him, but bathing together is something most children do with their parents from when their toddlers to elementary school years and it shows closeness also it's a lot easier for the both of them to shower together and keeping the water bill down to a minimum. He cared about Dillan being uncomfortable around him.. Maybe it's because he still doesn't know him well enough..

"No! Why would I?! We're both boys!" Dillan blushed red as he looked straight at the tiles embarrassed now.. He didn't get why they couldn't just wear swim trunks in the shower... Then again it would be harder for them to wash themselves and that would be more stuff to put into the wash too... He wasn't afraid of his father hurting him or anything he just.. He has bad memories from when he was on his own.. And has all these weird feeling centered around boys.

"Hey calm down! I'm just kidding baby." The young father sighs softly as he picks up his child carefully and grabs a towel to wrap him up in carefully as he turns off the water. "You know I would never hurt you... Or make you uncomfortable on purpose right?" Reno asks with concern as he wraps his own towel around his waist carefully.

"Yeah I know daddy.. I guess I'm just not used to it.." The young auburn haired boy replied quietly to his daddy. He then felt his father squeeze him into a hug making him giggle as he cuddles into him softly.

Reno hugs Dillan close to himself as he starts drying him off gently. "Well we don't have to bathe together if you don't want to baby." He replied softly as he strokes his son's cheek softly and smiles when Dillan nuzzles his chest gently, he carefully leans his head down giving him a soft kiss on his wet hair. "I just want you to be comfortable, you can tell me anything and I promise I'll never get mad at you either."

The little boy looks up at him shyly with a soft blush going over his slightly freckled cheeks and nose "I like bathing with you daddy... I'm just shy I guess.." He notes quietly looking down but giggles when his daddy gives him a raspberry on his cheek. "Don't do that you goof!" Dillan smiles up at his father sweetly and hears him say all he wants is for him to be comfortable and be trusting of him. "Okay daddy I'll be sure to, and I do trust you." He replied softly as he looks up at his daddy giving a sweet smile to him.

"Good, I would hope you trust me by now! It's been five months since we've been in each other's lives!" Reno laughs as he gently dries his hair then his own quickly and places Dillan on the ground carefully. "Go get dressed okay? Be quick and be sure you packed everything you needed buddy!" The young redhead nods as he dries himself and gets ready quickly running some gel through his hair and putting a ponytail to keep his hair out of the way.

Dillan nods and races into the bedroom with gusto throws on a clean shirt and his boxers along with a pair of shorts and a little vest. He then went and took the goggles out of their hiding spot putting them back where they belong. He then went back into the bathroom putting gel through his own hair as well and styling it the way he likes it in a very casual suave manner. He could be a total ladies man.. If he was a different person..

"Look at you my little ladies man." Reno smirks as he pulls on his pants and put on his dress shirt quickly buttoning it up. "Suave just like your old man."

The young auburn haired boy gave a little laugh at that but he looks down feeling slightly ashamed of himself.. "You're not old daddy!" He argues pouting at his father for calling himself old.

"I'm old compared to you little guy." The young father laughs as he puts on his suit jacket and grabs his son trudging over to their bed to get their shoes on while also putting on his goggles. "Did you check your backpack?"

"Well how old are you then daddy..?" Dillan asks curiously

"I'm twenty-four." Reno noted with a smirk, he was a very young father indeed.. Not something to be proud of but he didn't care.

"See your not old daddy!" The young auburn haired boy giggled but then smacks himself in the head for forgetting to check his backpack! "No I forgot, I'll go check right now!" He then ran off to the living room and opens his backpack checking if he had all the things he needed. "Okay I have some books, my PSP, snacks, my journal and pens.. More snacks, markers, extra clothes, and-" the young boy went wide eyed over not seeing his most prized possession in his backpack and starts tearing up. "No! Where is it?!" Dillan whispers harshly and gets up running everywhere looking for it!

"Alright I'm ready to go how about you-" Reno announced but is soon cut off by his child running past him frantic and obviously upset. "Dillan?" He asks as he walks after him concerned and watches as his son tears their room apart. "Dude what are you doing!?" He quickly grabs his child and looks at him like he's gone crazy. "What the hell is wrong?"

"It's gone!" The little boy cries with tears running down his cheeks and sobs a little from being so upset.

"What is?!" The young father asks still not understanding.

"My chocobo plushie you got for me when we went to the chocobo farm! It's not in my bag and I can't find it anywhere!"

"Hey calm down.. Calm down.." Reno calms himself as well as he watchs his little one cry and whimper. "Buddy can you think back to last night..? Do you remember what you asked me to do?"

Dillan thought for a moment and looks up at his daddy with a bit of shame in his eyes. "I asked you to fix him... Because his wing was falling off."

"That's right, he's in my bag right now and is fixed too." The red haired man gave a small sigh at his son's freak out but it was understandable.. Dillan lost everything after his mom died, everything but that journal he has.. He could see why he was so clingy to a little stuffed animal considering he pretty much lost everything else from his life before he came to Edge.

"I'm sorry I had a temper tantrum daddy.."

"It's fine baby, just take a couple deep breaths and calm down alright?" Reno replied quietly as he picks up his son and puts on his own backpack and grabs Dillan's. He watches as Dillan hides his face into his chest, he felt hot tears hitting his chest where it's bare, he softly rubs his back and hums softly to get him to calm down some. "Hey I'm not mad baby, no need to cry anymore okay?" He nuzzles his cheek softly trying to get him to at least crack a smile. "Don't make me tickle you, my little moogle!" He smirked trying to get a rise out of him.

"I'm not a moogle! Those things are creepy!" Dillan pouts as he looks at his father upset.

"Hey I think they're pretty cute man, I mean I think your cute right?" The young father snickers as he teases his child playfully.

"Mm..." The young child pouts at that but smiles a little at his father. "I still don't like moogles.."

"What if I got you a bunch of moogle merch for you on Christmas and then your birthday?"

"I would wear or use it cause you gave it to me." Dillan smiles up at his daddy and sees him look astonished by that statement.

"Really-" Reno asks but is soon interrupted by someone knocking on their door.

*knock knock knock*

"Oh Rude is here!" Reno announces as he goes over to the door and opens it up. "Hey ya partner! Long time no see man!"

"Mm ready to go?" Rude asks as he looks to Reno and sees Dillan and gives him a little smile. The two of them finally got to know each other, and Rude fell in love with him as his uncle. He sees him as a sweetheart who is adventurous, logical, but also quite quirky, he also shares a lot of Reno's personality traits along with his own.

Dillan blushes some and looks away shyly.. 'There must be something wrong with me... Why am I blushing it's just uncle Rude.. I mean he's handsome, nice, and has really pretty eyes when he takes off his sunglasses... Oh man what is wrong with me..' He didn't understand why he was getting a small crush over Rude... He didn't understand any of this at all...

The young dark man rose a brow at this, curious of why Dillan is blushing. "Is everything okay Dillan?"

"Yes!" the young boy gulped... But he answered that a little too quickly.

"Hey let's go before Tseng gets pissed!" Reno pouts as he heads out holding Dillan still and tosses Rude his keys. "Lock it up man!"

Rude sighs as he locks up his best friend's apartment, he also wonders if Dillan is okay, If maybe there is something wrong.

Reno got in the car and looks around raising a brow "where's Rex and Bastion?"

"Their already at Shinra so we got to hurry man." The bald man notes as he starts the car and heads out toward Shinra. "You think Tseng is gonna be mad about you and Rex for bringing the kids?"

"He better not be! Me and Rex already discussed this whole situation with him. He has no choice but to let us bring the boys."

Dillan continued to listen to his father and Rude quietly as he lays against his daddy, slowly falling to sleep.

Rude noticed this and asks Reno quietly. "Hey does Dillan know your Bi?"

The young redhead looks to his partner a little confused and shakes his head. "No, I didn't want him to think I was weird.." He looks down a little feeling ashamed of himself for liking both sexes specifically liking men more than women..

"Dude I think you need to tell him."

"Why? He's only six it's not like he understands that stuff or likes anyone yet." Reno protests and looks down at his little boy a little concerned over why Rude was discussing any of this at all.

"Reno you were flirting by the time you were four!" Rude challenged as he drives along on the road and looks to his best friend. "Face it, he didn't just inherit your good looks, he also got your libido!" He motions toward his partner then gives a sigh about what he was about to say next "I think he might be gay.."

"So you think I look good?" The redhead smirked as he bit his lip and purrs to Rude playfully then hears that making Reno go quiet and look down at his child who is sleeping peacefully in his arms. 'Is that why you been getting so flustered in the shower the past couple mornings and nights? Because you were afraid I would find out? Is that why you were freaking over me teasing you too.. Don't you know I love you unconditionally no matter what? Why do think I'll just hurt you all the time baby..? What happened while you were alone in the slums..' He carefully leans down kissing his baby softly on the cheek and smiles lovingly not caring one bit, why should he care in the first place? Dillan is still his son no matter what, he just needed a moment to understand why he was acting funny the past couple morning and nights.

Dillan let out a happy little coo at the kiss and snuggles up close to his father

"Your okay with it..?" The dark man asks looking to his redhead partner concerned

"Um? Why wouldn't I be?! He's my baby boy Rude! He could have tentacles or be bald like you and I would still love him unconditionally!" The young father yells at his partner and cuddles his son protectively. "Do you have a problem with it?" Reno growls offended, he was obviously going into protective mode..

"Dude chill! You know I'm Bi too! Hell we dated for like a two years after high school! Why would I have a problem with it?"

"I don't know! I just don't want my son to feel like he's alone in this!"

"Well he's not Reno! I love him too you dweeb!" Rude huffs and pushes Reno feeling offended as well.

"If any one is a dweeb it's you yo!" The young father stuck his tongue and continues to pout as they headed to their destination.

"So he doesn't know you're dating Tseng?" The taller one of the two smirks as he looks to Reno mischievously

Reno suddenly went quiet blushing like crazy.. "He doesn't need to know that yet since Tseng still doesn't like Dillan too much yet." He looked down feeling horrible for being with someone who doesn't even like his own kid.

"Tseng will warm up to him man, he's just gotten to know Dillan's mischievous side, not his sweet side. I'm sure Tseng will see that soon enough and grow to like him, maybe even love him?" Rude notes with a small smile as he looks to his partner hopeful that could happen.

"Some how I doubt it..." The redhead sighs as he cuddles his little one and kisses him gently and lovingly on his cheeks and forehead, sometimes he swore he was more of a clingy father then a cool one, it greatly annoys him especially in public where he had a reputation to uphold but somehow this kid just makes him a mess, Yet he liked it, it was truly weird.

"Nah Tseng will come around, you'll see man." The dark Turk then mentions "It's funny how you become a pile of gush when Dillan's with you, it's honestly adorable." Rude notes with a smile, a actual guanine smile.

"Stop it before I smack you yo!" Reno huffs but smiles down at his mini me and strokes his cheek softly. 'Hey buddy if you do find out I'm going out with Tseng just remember you'll always come first in my heart and your needs will always be the most important to me. Alright? I'll never abandon you just for some dude who makes bank and who is also my boss yo. I hope you know that and can trust me enough to believe in me when I say I love you baby. You're my special pretty boy.' He gave a little chuckle at that and sees their finally there. "Alright let's get down to business." The redhead Turk smirks as he gets out of the car and adjusts Dillan so he's sitting on his hip and grabs their backpacks.

"You brought your tent in case of emergency right?" The bald Turk asks looking to his partner

"Yes of course, I'm not that dumb!" Reno huffs as he heads into the building "did you bring yours dipstick?"

"..." The other rubs the back of his head awkwardly and sighs

"Oh my Gaia Rude! That was the most important thing you had to bring yo! Your being a real dweeb right now man!" The young father complains as he heads into the elevator annoyed with his partner trudging behind him with his head hanging low, if Reno knows how to do anything, he knows how to make Rude feel like absolute shit at only 10:30 in the morning.

"You sure know how to kick a guy while he's down..."

"Click on our floor and go steal Rod's.." The redhead sighs as he leans against the back wall annoyed. "I'm not sharing a tent with you again, hell no it's not happening."

"What happened that made you so uptight about it?" The bald man complains and huffs annoyed

"Your stinky ass happened man!"

"... What..?"

"You fart and smell like death in your sleep dork!" The young redhaired Turk sneers as the elevator doors open and he quickly shoves Rude out. "Go steal his and haul ass to the roof!"

"... Fine asshole.." The darker Turk huffs as he runs off quickly to steal a tent from pretty much anyone who was stupid enough to just leave it out in the open.

Reno shook his head and presses the button that will take them to the stairs to the roof, he then gently nuzzles Dillan softly. "Hey baby, you need to wake up now." He notions quietly to his son and watches him stir but then sees a foot stop the elevator from closing making Reno look up and see Tseng. "Hey Tseng.. I didn't think you were coming up too.." The young father replies shyly. He gets a little intimidated by Tseng sometimes.

"Why wouldn't I be? I have to tell you goodbye before you leave don't I?" The Wutai man smirks as he leans in kissing Reno tenderly and gently not wanting to disturb Dillan who's resting on his torso still, if he wasn't there, he would of been a lot more... Rough.

Dillan whines softly and opens his eyes very gently and looks up to see Tseng kissing his daddy! He went wide eyed at this he didn't understand why this was happening considering he thought Tseng hated his dad and him too! He didn't know what to say or do in this situation, he blushed slightly at Tseng being so gentle and caring with his father, he quickly closes his eyes again pretending to be asleep so they don't know he saw them.

Reno smiles at the kiss being so loving and kisses him back just as tenderly and softly, in actuality Tseng and him have been dating for a long while, just a couple months longer than Dillan has been with Reno, so about eight to nine months would be how long they've been together. "Mm I'll miss you too sir." He smirks as he kisses him again and slightly bites his lover's lower lip pulling it and letting it go.

"You better miss me." Tseng grins softly as he lets him go and looks to Dillan and sees he's still asleep and gently places a hand on his cheek softly. "He's very sweet looking when he's asleep.. Can't say he is when he's awake though." He chuckles kidding, he knew from how Reno talks about him that he's a very sweet, gentle child by nature as well as very intelligent. He did like him, he's just not good at expressing it...

"Tseng.." Reno pouts as he pulls Dillan into a cradling position gently and smiles down at his child sweetly. "You know you like him." He coos as he carefully strokes his little one's cheek and looks to Tseng with a small smile.

"I do.. But we haven't been around each other enough to get a good judgement of one another.." He notes in a dull tone as he looks at the child placidly.. "So he doesn't know if he likes me or not, I'll assume he doesn't like me very much right now though." The Wutai man notes quietly to his lover as he watches Dillan carefully wanting to know his personality better.

"Well that could change if we just told him were together yo!" The young father smirks and nods quickly motioning that they should just tell him already!

"I want him to know me before he finds out, to see if he even likes me first.." Tseng replied placidly, deep down he wants to know this child and for him to at least like him somewhat.. What would happen if him and Reno were together for a long time..? Or even married? Would he be a parent to Dillan as well? Would he also be considered a father to Dillan? He frowned at these worrisome thoughts and pushes them away. He didn't need to worry about these situations till at least later on in life.

"Tseng your worrying." Reno looks at him softly and pulls him into a hug "how about this, when we get back from the mission, you and Dillan go and do something together, just you two."

Tseng went wide eyed at this and shakes his head. "No, Reno this is a bad idea. It won't work, he'll refuse!" He motioned worried and not even knowing where they could go to.

"I need you two to get to know each other baby! Please for me?" Reno gave a sexy smile as he licks his lips. "If you do this I'll do that thing you like~"

The Wutai man smirked at that and nods "fine I'll do it, but only if he truly wants to." He nods and kisses the redhead once more smiling as he does.

"Of course" he coos as he kisses him back and hears a ding. "Oh we're here" Reno laughs as he leaves the elevator with Dillan and their backpacks in tow

Dillan wondered what Tseng has in store for him after this mission... 'I guess only time will tell... But man I can't believe they're going out! Maybe it's true what they say.. Opposites attract..' He gently opens his eyes and leans up and sees Tseng right behind his daddy and sees him raise a brow making him get a little nervous and blush slightly. 'He may be a butt, but at least daddy has good taste in men.. He be fine..!' He giggles slightly and waves to Tseng with a small smile.

The dark haired man furrows his brow at the young boy's action but waves back gently and gives a little smile to him. 'Hmm maybe he might like me a little, he's a very handsome boy just like his father, maybe he is as sweet as Reno says.. Guess I'll have to see for myself sometime next week.'

"Well hey there sleepy head! I was wondering when you were gonna wake up!" Reno smiles and kisses his child's cheek happily. "Are you ready for your first mission?" He asks with a smirk on his lips, he was obviously filled with excitement.

"Yeah let's do this!" Dillan giggles and soon sees Rex and Bastion. "Bastion!"

Bastion looks up at his name being called and smiles brightly! "Dillan! You're finally here!" He giggles and runs over and hops slightly wanting Reno to put him down wanting a hug.

"Alright man calm down! Back away from my child!" Reno laughs and puts Dillan down gently, patting him on the head as he does.

The little auburn haired boy giggles and quickly hugs Bastion cuddling into him happily.

The dark haired boy giggles back cuddling back happily, smiling like a dork as he does. "What took you guys so long! And where is uncle Rude?!" Bastion complains as he nuzzles his best friend's cheek. "I wanted to play before we left.."

"I didn't want to get out of bed..." Dillan explains awkwardly and lets out a nervous laugh. "He messed up and getting his stuff together still."

"Like father like son" Rex snickers with a snide smile crossing over his lips. "Oh of course he would do that! The only thing he doesn't forget is his shades!" The young auburn haired man complains as they continue to wait.

"Oh shoosh Rex!" Reno pouts at his other best friend now embarrassed as well. "Like you and Bastion don't share the same embarrassing traits!"

"We don't share that many since I am technically his mother." the bigger man notes as he picks up the two boys with a smile and kisses both of their cheeks but nuzzles his little one's cheek softly and lovingly.

The raven haired boy giggles and cuddles into his father gently smiling as he does.

Dillan went wide eyed at this information! How could a man be a mommy..? "Uh uncle Rex..? What do you mean by that..?"

The young auburn haired man looks to Dillan and gives a gentle smile. "Mean by what bud?"

"You being Bastion's mommy technically..?" He asks curiously

"Dillan that's rude to ask.." Reno notions since he knows it's a touchy subject for Rex.

"No its fine Reno, he's just curious." Rex nods and looks to the little auburn haired boy. "I'm technically Bastion's mommy because I gave birth to him hon." He smiles sweetly at Dillan and hopes to Gaia he won't judge his baby.. He's lost so many friends because they find out he's his mother.. And also was originally an experiment for Shinra using 1st class Soldier Angeal Hewley's sperm to make a super Soldier. And Rex was the perfect candidate because of his physique and his genes.. It was in his contract as well that if Shinra wanted to perform any experiments he had to oblige, but as soon as he had Bastion he refused to allow Shinra to take his baby away and literally blocked himself and Bastion in one of the storage rooms until they let him keep his baby and not do anything to him.

Reno rubs his arm awkwardly knowing talking about this hurts Rex's heart because his son never got to meet his actual father and had to be both his mother and father.. He knew all too well how much it hurt Rex to see Bastion picked on by kids in the slums where they live saying he's a bastard and a freak for being born from a man..

The younger auburn haired boy thinks for a moment letting that information sink in trying to understand how that works.. But smiles and hugs Rex and whispers in his ear quietly. "I'm glad Bastion has a mommy like you to keep him safe and would do anything for him. Thank you for bringing him into the world and loving him like no one else could."

The young mother/father tears up from hearing that and starts crying knowing this kid is special, he's accepting, and hopes he stays best friends with Bastion maybe more than that when their teens or adults, who knows he just knows he's a keeper and loves him! "Reno your kid is way too good with ith words man!" Rex cries out as he hugs the two boys close to his chest sniffling as he does.

"I never knew Rex could be such an emotional man." Tseng thinks aloud as he watches him cry... The man that is always sent on missions to assassinate Shinra's worst enemies, people who are plotting to kill Rufus and Mr. Shinra! He just couldn't see it..

"This actually is pretty normal Tseng.." The young redhead notes and looks to him. "Also it's gotten worse over the past six years." He chuckles but then gets smacked upside the head! "Ow!"

"Don't be mean to Rex man.." Rude replies in a placid tone as he hops into the helicopter and puts everyone's stuff in the cargo hold.

"I wasn't being mean! And thank you for taking your sweet ass time princess!" The redhead Turk sneers as he goes over and takes Dillan gently from Rex. "Rex is the best huh Dill?"

"Only princess I see is you fire crotch." The dark skin Turk let's out with a snicker.

"Yeah! I love him!" The little auburn haired boy giggles and kisses his uncle on the cheek happily.

"Nah I'm just me y'all" the taller Turk motions as he waves a hand and kisses the little boy back with a smile. "I love you too bud, Reno you should let me pierce his ears while we're out there! Please" Rex nods with a grin, you could tell he loved piercing from looking at his ears which were lined with silver, gems or chips of materia he even had a pentagram in one of his two ear lobes!

"Yeah daddy pierced my ears and it didn't even hurt!" Bastion pipes up and shows off his diamond studs happily.

The young boy liked the look but is still a little nervous about the procedure.. Not that he didn't trust Rex! He just doesn't like pain, or blood... He can't stand the sight of it.. Brings back too many bad memories.

"I'll think about it man, but it's his choice too in the long run" the redhead nods and waves goodbye to Tseng. "See you later boss! Be sure to tell Rufus I'll miss him too!" He smirks and gives a laugh at his snide comment.

"I'll be sure to Reno..." Tseng shakes his head at his lovers comment and feels someone tug on his sleeve and looks to Dillan with a brow raised curious. "Yes?"

"Bye.." The little boy then leans up reaching from his father's arms and kisses Tseng's cheek softly.

Reno and Tseng were both stunned and wide eyed with shock over what just happened, Tseng was even blushing a little from such an intimate action! He couldn't comprehend why this child would ever want to do this... Neither could Reno for that matter!

"Awe how sweet!" Rex smiles at that not thinking it was weird at all. "See Tseng he likes you!

Bastion giggles at Dillan being affectionate toward their fathers boss but he was kinda jealous inside, since he didn't understand why it happened.

"... Reno may I speak with him for a moment.." The Wutai man asks quietly as he looks to him slightly embarrassed.

"Y-yeah.." The young father nods and hands his little one over to his boss gently and kisses him hoping nothing bad happens. "I'll be in the copter okay baby?" Reno nods and gently ruffles his hair.

"Okay daddy..." Dillan let's out a little scared as he watches his father, uncle and best friend go into the helicopter and get everything ready so they can take off.. It was just him and Tseng now.. He could feel that Tseng was holding him very carefully and is very tense as well... Which makes him very uncomfortable honestly.. But he could feel from the older man that he was holding him this way because he cared about maybe dropping him. "Did I do something wrong..?" The little auburn haired boy asks shyly as he looks down avoiding eye contact from the much older man..

"No. No you didn't I just want to know why you're having such a change of heart about me, because before the instructors in the daycare continually reported about you wanting to break into the Turk floor and giving me a piece of your mind, or showing me drawings of me being pranked or making fun of me.." He let out in a placid tone as he stares at the child..

Dillan blushed at the inquiry and coughs as he continues to look at the ground. "I had a change of heart I guess.. And I just want to get to know you better..." He motions toward the onyx haired man quietly.

"I want you to look at me and say that little one." Tseng muses to the young auburn haired child and sees him look up but avoid eye contact. "Look me in the eye Dillan.." He's getting slightly annoyed by this child's antics..

The thing is though, is that Dillan has a hard time giving eye contact, he can't handle the staring and looking into someone else's soul pretty much. But he looks into his eyes and blushes cause Tseng's eyes are really pretty too... He tears up a little at his feelings overcoming him, he hates having emotions most of the time.

The older man stared back into the child's eyes, his own eyes softening because he's sees him start tearing up, also because his eyes were absolutely beautiful, like looking into a lush forest canopy, like the forest canopies of home. He grew a little concerned over him tearing up and holds him a little closer to himself putting on a more gentle approach and asks very quietly. "Dillan is everything okay..?"

"I-I don't know.." He whispers as he lets a few tears fall and lays his head against the older man's chest softly, sniffling some as he does. "I'm really sorry I said and drew the things I did... I don't mean it, I guess I was just upset because you won't let me be with daddy.." The child replies quietly looking down as he speaks.

Tseng can't help but smile when Dillan lays his head on his chest, it felt quite nice. A lot different from a lover laying their head there. As soon as he hears that he lets out a small sigh and wished these children could understand that him and the heads weren't putting them in the daycare program as punishment, but for their protection. 'Why can't you kids realize that our scientists roam around all the floors looking for things to experiment on and could grab you guys at any second and experiment on you freely.. And they wouldn't be breaking any laws either because of all the contracts your parents sign, giving them full access to do whatever they want to you, and they specifically want you Dillan, because they think your cetra with your green eyes..' He gently raises the child's chin so he's looking at him and whispers very quietly. "Dillan, I'm not trying to keep you away from your father, if anything I'm protecting you so you're safe while in the building little one, you might not think it but I do care for you and do want to get to know you.. Please don't think all I want to do is push you away.." Tseng then softly touches his forehead to Dillan's, he wasn't much for kissing, but he knows just a gentle touch is enough for a child to know that they mean it and care.

Dillan listens quietly as Tseng talks as he looks up at him a little intimidated but understands what he is telling him, he's happy his daddy is with someone who has some compassion.. He soon feels Tseng press his forehead to his own making him jump a little in surprise but relaxes just as quickly and whispers. "You know I was awake while you and daddy were kissing and talking huh..?"

"I do, and it's fine. You can accept our relationship or not at all. Your independent and I know you will think what you want of it, which is fine too, but please don't try and break us up.. Please Dillan." The onyx haired man looks at the younger auburn haired boy almost sadly when he says that.

"I would never do that...! Do you think I'm that cruel of a person?" The young child asks hurt by what the older man just said to him. "I want my daddy to be happy.. His happiness matters just as much as mine does Tseng.." Dillan looks down hurt and squirms wanting down and away from him!

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend." The Wutai man soon sighs as Dillan squirms and whines, so he holds him in a tight hug and gently nuzzles his cheek softly. "Dillan stop." He lets out in a stern voice and feels him stop. "Thank you, your like a snake." He chuckles softly as he looks at him with gentle eyes.

Dillan pouts as he settles down and giggles a little at that then blushes getting a little flustered. "So are we hanging out when we all get back...?"

"Yes we are, and we will try to get along." Tseng notes quietly a little unsure that this will work..

"Okay, um.. Thanks for talking to me I guess... And listening.." The young auburn haired boy lets out awkwardly as he rubs the back of his head ruffling his hair some gently.

"It was no trouble little one, I'll see you when your back and when we go and hang out." Tseng replies quietly as he goes to put him down but then feels Dillan hug him in a tight hug, the older man didn't understand why this child was being so loving toward him... Was it because he found out he's with his father or because he's been wanting to try and be closer to him..? Either way he allowed it and gently hugs him back and rubs his back softly. 'Maybe Reno is right.. I could be a good second father to Dillan.. If we stay together that long..'

Dillan smiles and leans up a little and kisses him on the cheek again softly making him giggle when Tseng blushes again but gives him a little smile as they walk over to the copter.

"I think Dillan broke Tseng..." Rude lets out astonished over what he just saw.

"Um.. I didn't think Tseng had a soft side.." Rex notes confused as he watches Tseng walk over with Dillan in his arms.

"I think he'll be a good step dad to Dillan when the time comes." Reno smiles as he leans back happy his child and his lover seem to like each other somewhat.

"I'm just glad Dillan doesn't have a crush on him.." Bastion whispers quietly to himself, it's cute how he doesn't know that Dillan likes him back, and probably has it worse.

Tseng places Dillan in the helicopter gently and waves to everyone else. "Be safe and be sure to come back all in one piece." He sighs and looks to Rex sternly "And I'm mostly saying that to you Mr. Accident Prone."

"Yeah yeah I know. Don't get stabbed or shot, we can't afford to cover for anymore of your injuries blah blah blah.." Rex replies in a monotone voice annoyed by his boss's badgering.

"Daddy you almost died last time!" The young raven haired boy whines

"Hey I'm here aren't I?" The auburn haired man looks over and smirks at his child but receives a frown. "I'll be careful... Promise."

"You better be, I would rather not see my nephew become a orphan!" Reno huffs as he starts the engine. "Don't worry Tseng we'll be back in no time at all!"

The Wutai man nods and closes the sliding door as he backs up watching the copter rise off the ground.

Dillan goes wide eyed as they come off the ground and squeaks nervously but is soon scooped up by Rex.

"Calm down your safe little man." The stocky Turk mentions as he goes and sits down gently next to his own son and places Dillan in his lap then Bastion gently as he puts on the seat belt and watches as Reno pilots the copter to head North.

"Daddy how long is it gonna take before we get to Wutai..?" The young raven haired boy asks curiously getting slightly antsy already.

"It'll take quite awhile sweetheart..." Rex replies gently and holds him a little closer. "You wanna take a nap for a little bit?"

Bastion nods and carefully cuddles into his father gently as he closes his eyes to rest.

Dillan frowns now because he honestly wanted to play... But he imagines playing wasn't an option in here..

"Dillan would you like to take a nap too?" The young mother/father asks gently and rubs his shoulder softly with a smile.

"Will I not be able to get to my backpack?"

"Not until we land honey." Rex mentions gently to him.

"Okay then." Dillan sighs in defeat as he lays his head against his uncle's chest gently and smiles at it being soft and not rock hard like he imagined. He gently closes his eyes and goes right to sleep.

It was soon night time and everyone but Rude was asleep..

"Man this sucks.. I have to pilot the copter just because I don't have a kid! I need my sleep too!" He complains as he continues to head in the north west direction, extremely tired and trying not to fall asleep while piloting this thing.. But that proved to be hard because he has no coffee to keep him at least somewhat awake..

But Rude kept on trucking and is nearing Wutai! He is so close to the finish he could taste it! "Just a couple 2,000 miles to go..!" He cheered sleepily as he continued to lead the helicopter on.

He was soon over the land so he lowered the copter down closer to land since they're close to their destination, but sleep finally caught Rude in the ass and he fell into it hard and soon the helicopter spiraled out of control of control as it crashed into the lush canopies of the land breaking branches and disturbing the creatures within the forest.. This was bad and there was nothing they could do about it really..

Dillan soon stirred awake as soon as they crashed onto the ground, he whines quietly and checks himself to see if he's okay. He looks around frightened wondering why they weren't in the sky anymore.. The young child looks around for his father and doesn't see him anywhere.. He soon tears up and cries quietly thinking his daddy was flung out of the copter and is dead. "Daddy.. Where are you..!" Dillan whispers through his cries, frightened and looking around scared from his seat..

Reno soon woke up hearing cries and looks to the back from his seat and sees his little one crying. He quickly gets up and goes over to his child and takes him out of the seat belt picking him up and holding him close to himself. "Shh, I'm right here Dillan. Don't cry, everything is okay.." The young father lets out tiredly and nuzzles his baby softly to calm him down.

"No it isn't..!" Dillan whispers through his tears as he looks over to Rex and Bastion to see if their okay, and they are luckily, as well as still asleep.

"What do you mean sweetheart..?" The redhead asks tiredly as he looks to his son confused.

"Daddy we crashed.." Dillan notifies to his father and watches as he goes quiet and now gets even more scared.

Reno gulped as he looks around and sees their helicopter is completely totaled by the trees, there were branches stabbing this way and that throughout the entire copter, they were all lucky to even be alive.. "Well looks like we'll be camping for awhile.." The young father notes as he sits down cradling his son and hears howls coming from near by making him clutch his child closer to him. He quickly gets an idea and zips up his suit jacket over Dillan so he's hidden away and safe from any predator that might enter I here.

Dillan whimpers at hearing howls as well as growls. He feels his daddy zip his jacket around him and looks up at him but feels him kiss him and wrap his arms around him protectively as he rubs his back.

Reno looks down at Dillan from within his jacket, he looks like he's pregnant with him under there, but there was no time to laugh about it right now. "You're safe right here baby, now go back to sleep." He notes softly as he hums to his little one quietly, his eyes getting heavy with sleep already.

"Okay daddy.." Dillan coos as he cuddles up to his chest and stomach and listens to his heart beat along with his humming making him go to sleep instantly.. 'Please let us all be safe and make it back home in one piece... I hope daddy, uncle Rex and Uncle Rude get this job done fast.. Because I don't wanna be an orphan again, don't want to be hurt by strangers, or make money by doing bad things for bad people.. I don't want Bastion to deal with it either.. Please Gaia help us..'
