A/N:I only write when I'm depressed aparently...

When she came to, she was in a chair in Marcus' room, she blinked her eyes and shook her head, trying to shake off the remainder of the spell. Seeing her problem sitting in the chair across from her, she sighed, his eyes were gleaming darkly.

"I never thought you would do something like this m'dear"

She scoffed

"Like what?"

"Don't play dumb with me!"

She sighed

"I didn't do anything other than follow my brother"

He scoffed

"Please! He's not the scheming type, you put him up to this"

Rolling her eyes, she sighed

"Right, sure, whatever you say darling…"

She knew there was nothing she could say, he didn't believe a single word she said, he never had.

Third lesson

Amanda was finishing up in the greenhouse when the last of her classmates left, the door closing behind them, Professor Sprout had been called to a meeting with the Potions Master and had orders the class to clean up before leaving. As usual Amanda was the last to leave, making sure everything was at their rightful place. Her mother had taught her to keep a clean and tidy greenhouse; plants didn't thrive in a messy environment. She had laughed when she had first said it but after a while she had found that it was true plus it made the work easier when you knew where all your tools were. As the door opened and closed, she emerged from behind the work table.

"Flint?"

The Slytherin smiled at her

"I just dropped by to have a little chat"

She moved around the tables, trying to keep a distance between them.

"How considerate of you…"

He glared at her for a second before finding his usual smirk.

"Yes, I have been missing you, you're a busy bee, always in class or in your Dorm. If I didn't know better I would think you were avoiding me"

She matched his steps, away from him, a nervous smile caused her lip to tremble

"Don't be silly…"

He laughed coldly

"I know but I think that's going to change… right?"

She swallowed hard, eyeing him nervously

"What do you mean?"

He laughed as he pushed past a few tables, suddenly getting very close.

"I mean that, you should come look for me, out of your own free will"

She chuckled, licking her lips nervously

"I'll check my schedule"

His eyes darkened as he closed in on her

"How about now?"

She flinched

"I … I'm not done here…"

He stopped and looked at her

"You're done, now come here!"

He extended a hand towards her, she looked at it nervously before looking at him again. As she opened her mouth to speak he growled

"Don't you dare say 'no' to me again!"

He moved closer

"It's the same every time"

His eyes gleamed

"You start with the 'no's and after I put my hands on you, it's all 'yes'"

She flushed a deep shade of maroon, making him laughed

"Oh my, thinking back m'dear?"

She took a step back, her heel hit a large pot.

"I'm going to be late for my next lesson"

He chuckled

"No, you're not... now come here!"

She hesitated, looking at the hand he was extending towards her

"Don't make me say it again"

She carefully took his hand and his smile broadened.

"That's a good girl"

He pulled her closer, reaching behind her head and undoing her ponytail, he ran his hand through her silky locks. Gently cupping her face he pressed his lips against hers before whispering in her ear.

"Am I not good to you"

She nodded, her eyes closed

"I treat you well"

She sighed and nodded again

He ran his hands down her torso before resting them on her hips, pressing them against him.

"I make you feel good right?"

She opened her eyes and looked at him, the tip of her tongue resting on her bottom lip, a small smile spread, curling her pink mouth.

"…yes…"

Present time

Marcus watched her closely, what was going on? He had used Montague to keep her in check and he knew that all Oliver wanted, was to protect her, would he seriously serve his babysister on a platter to get her out of this union? He knew Montague was loyal but also very greedy, he wanted to be the next Master Fisherman, the one who would teach the next generation and that meant that he would take any chance and opportunity to gain power and knowledge. He had found a catcher to take care of the youngest Wood brother as per request of the older ones but she had not made her first move, she wanted to be prepared and do a bit of research not to mention, her own Fish was not ready for release, he would be soon enough though, after all; Warrington was a fast learner. Getting up he walked over to the chair, looking down at her before locking eyes with Graham who sat on a chair behind her, in the corner. He needed to play his cards right or he would lose this round. Montague was ready to try and break a witch in himself and maybe, just maybe with the help of Amanda, the boy would be occupied with his own game, leaving Marcus' Fish alone.

"Darling, I need you to do something for me"

She looked up at him, her eyes wide

"Get me Alice Templar"

She gasped and jumped to her feet but he quickly pushed her back into the chair. Was he going to replace her? Or worse? Graham Montague frowned – what now?

"No please Marcus, whatever you're thinking, don't do that to her"

His eyes were cold as he sneered

"It's that or you will be training Montague in Fishing"

She gasped to breathe, offer up her own friend or pay an ultimate price?

"No, please, there has to be someone else"

Marcus glared at her

"No, she's perfect, get her to meet you at the greenhouses and let me know when"

She sobbed, dropping her head into her hands. Marcus groaned and Montague rolled his eyes. Why was she being so dramatic?

"It's going to happen sooner or later, I know Davies has his eyes on her"

Amanda sniffled and chuckled coldly

"Rather Davies than Montague"

Now it was Marcus' time to chuckle

"If you only knew how the Ravenclaw treats his toys m'dear, you wouldn't be saying that"

Amanda eyed him, was he lying to get her to do his bidding? Nervously chewing her lip, she scanned the room, Good Gryffindor what was she going to do? As Montague got up, she flinched, she had no idea he had been sitting right behind her. She shifted nervously in the chair before looking away. She had no idea that Marcus had informed the both of them; she knew she could postpone it with Marcus, making him believe that it took longer than expected while she then searched for a means to save her friend. Graham, on the other hand, was less understanding and certainly not patient, not to mention, he knew that if she did not do as she was told, she would be his practise doll.

Later that week

Amanda starred at Alice across the table, suddenly the red-head caught her eye.

"What?"

She raised an eyebrow but Amanda couldn't speak, she merely shook her head. Alice groaned

"Seriously girl, you have been giving me weird looks all week, what's up with you"

She merely looked at her friend before someone at the Slytherin table caught her eye. Marcus pressed a finger to his lips. She lowered her eyes

"Nothing, just wondering… can you come help me with the Armarous plants this afternoon?"

Alice wringed, she hated Herboligy

"Do I have to?"

Amanda's lip started to tremble, a thing Alice read to be her friend guilt-tripping her into helping even though she hated the greenhouses. It wasn't though, Amanda felt immense guilt for having to do this to her friend.

"Ok ok, stop the water-works, I'll do it… shees woman, what's with you lately?"

She shook her head and muttered

"Nothing, sorry…"

Getting up she left the table, drying her eyes on her sleeve as she left the Great Hall, she scanned the Gryffindor table before she left, she found her brother missing… again… Slipping through one of the smaller exits on the side of the castle, Amanda took a deep breath; the fresh air was warmer than normal, spring was coming. As she headed for the greenhouse, she needed a bit of time to clear her head plus she knew that she could be alone there; which was exactly what she needed at present time. Pushing the door open she breathed in the moist warm air, the smells and the complete silence. Strolling down the row of plants, she mindlessly ran a hand over the wooden tables. Hearing the door close a second time she spun around, seeing Alice standing there.

"So what's the problem?"

"No!"

Her friend frowned

"Are you kidding me? You guilt-trip me into coming here and now you're saying 'no'?"

Amanda spotted a certain someone over her friend's shoulder and grabbing the readhead, she pulled her to the back of the greenhouse, towards the back-exit.

"Whoa, what is going on?"

"Be still!"

Looking through the glass walls she timed it that when Graham opened the door, she did too, and as he entered, she slipped out, pushing Alice in front of her. Closing the door at the same time as the Beater she sighed a sigh of relief.

"Way too close…"

As she turned to look at her friend she screamed, Alice was in a vice-grip and with a wand pressed against her throat. A second later the door opened and Montague exited the greenhouse, a curious smile on his lip.

"You must think we're fools"

"No, not like this!"

Montague laughed and winked at Purcey

"Yes like this, good job, you did your part perfectly"

Amanda gave Alice a wild look, her lip was trembling. Montague was making it seem like Amanda had set her friend up, like this was the way the plan was supposed to work out. Locking eyes with her friend, she felt tears in her eyes before mouthing 'I'm sorry'. She would have to explain later.

"Take her away Purce, I'll deal with this one!"

"NO!"

As she jumped towards Purcey, Graham laughed and grabbed her around the waist and held her back.

"Oh yes, Marcus said I could teach you a lesson should you choose to deviate from the plan"

She tried to push herself away from him, she gasped as he tightened the grip, she could hardly breathe.

"You … lie…"

Graham chuckled as he brushed her hair out of her face, placing a hand on her cheek and digging his fingers into the soft flesh.

"Certainly not, we can go ask him if you want to…"

He purred in her ear and she knew he wouldn't and she really doubted Marcus had given him permission but then again, she wasn't certain anymore. Marcus had turned a blind eye on several occasions now, allowing Montague to do as he saw fit.

"I .. wasn't.."

Montague scoffed

"Liar…"

Opening the door to the greenhouse he pushed her inside, watching as she dropped to her knees. Slamming the door shut he stepped over her, sitting down on the edge of a large flowerpot he twirled his wand between his fingers. Amanda stayed on the ground, rubbing her forehead with the back of her hand, how had it come to this?

Flashback: Return to me

She was raging her brain, she couldn't move, her feet would not physically move. She was standing on the last step before the dungeons.

"What am I doing?"

She whispered into the darkness while biting her lip. She looked back up the stairs for a fleeting second.

"Looking for me?"

She gasped, almost falling from where she stood. He smirked at her, his eyes gleaming darkly. She had come, almost all the way, willingly. Her hair cascading around her shoulders, her robe unbuttoned, revealing a casual attire. Jeans and a tank-top. He took a step towards her, he could see her internal struggle, she wanted to move but couldn't. He extended his hand towards her and this time she took it immediately. His smile broadened. Got cha!

Now

Looking up at the Slytherin she cussed herself inwardly, had she only been stronger, been thinking straight instead of letting her body guide her, she wouldn't be in this predicament. She wished she would have listened better to Andrea and asked her brothers, she could have avoided this. Graham Montague smirked at her.

"What's on your mind?"

She scoffed

"You don't care anyway"

He laughed heartily

"You're right about that, I was merely playing interested"

He kneeled down, grabbing her chin between thumb and forefinger

"You know, this is all a game"

She sneered at him

"To you, yes but not to everyone else"

She knew she was going to regret her following question but she still had to ask it.

"Don't you have to get going? I mean, you have a little Fishy waiting for you"

Montague laughed again, a cold heartless laugh.

"Naw, I gave her to Adrian, I never wanted her"

She gasped and turned her head, he grabbed hold of her fully, eyeing every inch of her face.

"No, I have what I want, right here!"

She whimpered before pressing her eyes shut

Alice and Adrian

As they reached the Great Hall Adrian released the girl and pocketed his wand. Looking at her, he chewed his lip for a bit, she was looking around wildly but wasn't moving. Marcus had been right, going for the right girl and she wouldn't fight back nor would she run, the fear anchored her here.

"I'm not going to do anything, I have to do as told to remain on the team but …"

He paused, he did not want to seem weak but he couldn't bring himself to do this, watching Marcus work his magic had been one thing and being beaten up by Clarissa Valent, had been another. He watched the girl in front of him and reached up to touch her hair, he saw how she flinched and he pulled back.

"I suggest you make some changes to yourself, ask Amanda what I am talking about"

He walked past her and aimed for the stairs to the dungeons.

Later: A lesson to be learned

Marcus had a firm grip on Amanda, standing behind her and an arm around her, his hand holding her face turned towards the scene in front of them. His mouth next to her ear as he whispered, his voice shaking with anger. The whole Kansas City Shuffle at the greenhouses was not to his liking so he had forced her to attend Alice's first lesson.

"If you close your eyes, you're next!"

She tried to suppress her fear and it took all of her strength. Though her gaze was directed at the people in front of her, she tried her best not to see it.

Montague flicked his wand at the witch on the floor

"Imperio!"

Her hands started moving over her body, tugging at her clothes before slipping under them. One under her skirt and one under her shirt. Alice's eyes were closed, her mouth slightly open as her hands started moving. Amanda felt her eyes burn, the knot in her chest growing and making breathing difficult. She heard Marcus' voice in her ear.

"This is the spell Ronald started using when breaking in a new fish"

She sobbed as the tears started rolling down her cheeks. She could hear him smile through the tone of his voice.

"It's effective and technically we do not 'touch' the girl, no rape charge"

Amanda gasped to breathe, pinching her eyes closed as her friend threw her head back in what seemed to be pleasure.

"Open your eyes!"

He hissed in her ear as he dug his fingers into her cheeks. Amanda could barely see the people in front of her anymore; the build-up of tears caused a water-like wall and she was thankful, she could barely see, so keeping her eyes open as long as she could, she savoured the break from the visual torment. When the scream escaped her friend's lips, she gratefully closed her eyes and as Marcus released her, she dropped to her knees, hiding her face in her hands but there was no unseeing this. Graham wrapped the robe around the girl with a sneer, drying his hands on his cloak. Marcus frowned, the boy had no respect for the girl whatsoever, had he been the same with Amanda?

"You know you don't have to do this right?"

Montague looked confused

"What do you mean?"

"It's not something disgusting I'm asking you to do, you came to me. The girls deserve a bit of respect"

Amanda heard his words and strangled a scoff, that's rich coming from him. Graham looked towards Amanda before meeting his captain's eyes.

"And I don't show them respect?"

Marcus looked at him for a few seconds, Alice had been knocked out for a bit of rest and so the boys could evaluate.

"Amanda, go to my quarters"

Her head snapped up, she was supposed to leave her friend with the two of them?

"But..."

"GO!"

She flinched and bolted out the door, closing it behind her and leaning against it. Running her hands over her face, she tried to remove the evidence of tears and as she heard someone approaching, she tried to put on a casual pose, studying her nails while stealing a glance at the person passing her.

"Oliver?"

Her brother spun around just in time to catch her as she threw herself in his arms.

"Manda?!

She cocked an eyebrow at her flesh and blood, he looked …fucked! Seriously! She strangled a giggle with a hiccup while eyeing his creased shirt, the smear of lipstick on his cheek, his zipper undone. As her eyes wandered over him, she clasped a hand over her mouth.

"Wow…"

He blushed and looked at his shoes.

"Yeah, got to .. go…"

She giggled

"Yeah, you look like you need a shower…"

He sent her a dirty look as he turned and headed towards the stairs to his side of the castle. Oh my, had someone finally got their claws on her brother? And why had it taken so long? He was not unattractive though a bit too focused on the sport but still, some girl should be able to see past that and take a chance on him. With a small smile on her lip, she was brought back to reality as the door opened behind her. Resent events caught up with her at lightning speed as she stood face to face with Marcus. She gasped and her eyes grew wide as his narrowed.

"Didn't I tell you to go to my quarters?"

"Yessir!"

She blurted out and before he could say anymore, she bolted down the hallway; Graham Montague came up behind him, casting a glimpse after her.

"Eavesdropping?"

Marcus shook his head

"Naw, she's too scared to do a thing like that"

The Beater smirked

"Want to find out for sure?"

Marcus matched his facial expression.

"Yes…"

Marcus smirked as the sandy haired youth pushed past him and started the chase. Eventually the girl would learn… right?

Amanda jumped down a flight of stairs and hurried through a corridor before exiting the castle, she needed to enter the Slytherin Common Rooms from the East side of the castle, it was the only way she knew to get in without using the Portrait hole, it wouldn't let her pass and if she had to wait for a student to come and want to enter, she could be late. She had left before Marcus on several occasions and still got there after him, she had no idea how he did it, but he knew ways she didn't. A Slytherin thing probably, lurking around in the dark corridors and spying on prey and such. She shuddered. True that they were all hormone filled teenagers and it could and would come to small meetings in abandoned parts of the castle, but to actually make it a sport, to make a game out of her made her feel like she truly was the weaker sex. Passing some vegetation she spotted the Quidditch Pitch on the grounds further to the East, that place was the birthplace of a competitive spirit of destructive measures. She shook her head and sighed.

Opening the door to the 'secret' entrance, she closed it behind herself, careful not to make too much noise, she stopped; normally the corridor was lit by torches but not tonight.

"Hmm… strange…"

Running her hand over the wall to guide her, she took careful steps, in the dark she was completely blind. She didn't see it coming, neither way and a second later she was on the floor and he was over her, pinning her to the cold stone floor.

"Did you hear something good?"

She gasped as she was pulled to her legs and slammed against the wall.

"What did you hear?"

She wheezed

"Nothing… please…"

"Oh come off it!"

He pushed her to the floor again, she scrambled to get to her feet and to get away before he got a hold of her again but he was faster and not as blinded as she was.

"Why were you waiting then?"

He grabbed her by the collar and she placed her hands on his, pulling at his fingers to get him to release her.

"Please… Oliver-"

He slapped her across the face, the pain making her gasp for breath.

"Stop it!"

He laughed, coldly

"No, you tell me what I want to hear or you're going to be sorry"

Coughing she wringed

"I saw Oliver… I didn't hear-"

"Liar!"

He wrapped a hand around her throat and her immediate reaction was to scratch at his hands but she quickly regretted that move.

Adrian and Alice

He had found her on the floor of the classroom, he had followed them when they had tricked her out of the safety of the Common Room, he had hid and waited for them to finish. Marcus wanted him there, wanted him to learn but he had flat out refused, something that had certainly caused them both to wonder. Neither Graham or Marcus understood why he couldn't watch them put her through this, they wanted him to learn, they insisted that it would be good fun but he just couldn't … Kneeling down he scooped her into his arms and slipped into the darkening hallway, he needed to make it to somewhere safe, somewhere safe for the both of them. On the fourth floor he knew there was a nook with a few pillows on the benches, it was never used for some odd reason but tonight it would be. Gently placing her on the bench, he pushed a pillow under her head and wrapped her robe around her before sitting down at her feet, waiting for her to wake up.
