Mal then turned on her heel, whipped her hair over her shoulder, and turned the corner. Evie was not only scared but upset that Mal had the guts to say such words. She must really hate me. The blue girl started to cry. Not because of the physical pain, but emotional distress. Carlos grabbed her hands that were covering her face and placed them by her sides to examine the damage that was done. Her cheek was swollen and stained purple. Carlos helped Evie up from where she thereafter fell. He didn't say anything in fear of saying something wrong either that or he didn't have anything to say to her, so he led her to the nurse in silence. It was surprising for both of them.
