I'm back, and I'm not late. Now starting with Avella's POV

Avella stood in front of the mirror, surveying the outfit she had chosen from the wardrobe.
It was a simple white dress, with a pale blue ribbon around the bodice. For once she didn't mind how she looked. The dress made her silky white skin look almost angelic, and the blue ribbon accented her sky blue eyes. Her long black locks hung neatly about her waist, slightly curling at the end.
She looked almost exactly like her mother, the only thing different was her eyes. Her mother had brown eyes.
She felt the ache in her chest return. Her injury was completely healed, but it felt like Edward harmed more than just her heart. She pushed the thought of him out of her head and stepped into the hallway.
She paused; she had no idea how to get around this mansion. "Good morning, Lady Lockwell, young master wishes to see you in his study." She turned around to expecting to see a smiling Sebastian, but instead found him intimidating rather than reassuring. She could tell this was serious.
She nodded to him, and he led her to Ciel's study. Once she stepped in she found Ciel sipping tea, and reading a newspaper, with various items spread across the desk.
Ciel looked up at her and gestured to a chair in front of his desk, "Have a seat." He said.
Once she sat down Sebastian poured her a cup of tea. "How are you feeling?" Ciel asked. She instead asked "What did you want to tell me?" whatever he needed to talk about seemed important for him to be so focused.
He sighed, "You are in today's paper, they say you are missing, and by the end of the week you will be reported dead." He said.
"Good, I'd rather Edward not expect me." Avella stated. He smirked, "Speaking of that, Sebastian found some clues that might be helpful." Avella nodded as she drank her tea.
Sebastian brought over a bag, she noticed was the one Edward was carrying, and dumped its contents neatly over the desk. 'So it wasn't money after all.' She thought. The clinking noises she heard could have been anything made of metal. Then she recognized them.
Ciel's POV~
"Are these familiar to you?" Ciel asked her.
"These are my mother's. Why would he want to steal them?" Avella wondered aloud, shaking her head.
Ciel nodded "We are not sure yet, but look here." He pointed to a black pendant, which had a glowing red rune etched into its surface.
"All 4 items have runes that we think have ties to the underworld."
Avella nodded for him to go on. "We don't know what the runes mean, hell we don't even know for sure if they are real or not." Ciel sighed.
Avella smiled, "I know someone nearby that could help us." Ciel raised his eyebrow "Really? Who might that be?"
Time skip &Avella's POV~
They found themselves standing in front of the Undertaker's shack. Avella couldn't stop grinning.
Flashback~
A graveyard, where a girl about 7 stood with her mother by an elegant gravestone.
"Uncle Monty isn't coming back is he mother?" asked the little girl.
"No. He isn't." sighed her mother. "Do you want to head back to the carriage, or do you want to stay here for a little bit?"
"No, I just want to stay here alone." Avella hung her head.
Her mom squeezed her arm sympathetically, "All right, I will be back in a little bit then." And then she was alone.
She remembered feeling her throat starting to close up, when she noticed someone leaning over her. She gasped and the strange man started to laugh uncontrollably.
"My dear little one, did I frighten you?" he managed between fits of giggles.
"No." she pouted, which only made him laugh more.
He calmed down a bit, "I noticed you've lost your dear uncle." She looked up at him, and noticed that the man had a scar that slanted across his face, it continued down his neck and disappeared into the collar of his coat. She wondered what happened to him.
He kneeled down before her, "I know I could never replace your uncle, but if you're ever lonely or sad you can come to me and I will keep you company." He gave her an ear to ear grin. His enthusiasm was contagious, and she found her self giggling and smiling again. He joined in her laughter, and she hugged him, tears flowing down her flushed cheeks.
End of Flashback~
"How come we always go to this mad man for information?" Ciel asked no one in particular, as he pinched the bridge of his nose in confusion.
Avella eagerly knocked at the door, it's been 7 years since she'd last seen him. The door creaked open to reveal a smiling man in a top hat.
"Well, well I wondered when we'd meet again Miss Lockwell. I had a feeling you were still around." chided the Undertaker.
Avella giggled, "It's only been-"but her sentence was cut short because she was pulled into a bone-crushing hug. She smiled as she hugged him back, just as hard.
He chuckled as they pulled away, "Now I must ask, have you finally come to get a custom made coffin?"
Ciel's POV~
Ciel raised his eyebrow at the two. 'How do they know each other?' he wondered to himself.
Ciel interrupted, "Of course not! Actually, we've come to-"
"Why are you still out here come in." he said, laughing as he disappeared into the darkness of his home. Ciel was starting to get annoyed.
They followed, when they were all inside the door shut behind them. It was pitch-black in here, he was about to say something when he saw candles slowly start to light up.
"Earl Phantomhive, I was puzzled when they told me you had died, and there was no body to fill the coffin I had prepared." said the retired reaper, flashing him his signature skin-crawling smile.
Ciel scowled "Enough! We have come here to-"but he found himself silenced again.
"I know why you're here, but first you must amuse me." Ciel just stared at him, clearly he hasn't changed a bit since he had last seen him.
Avella piped up, "There once was a purple dolphin th-"she didn't even finish before the Undertaker started laughing maniacally.
"You've never failed to amuse me! A purple dolphin!" He gasped breathlessly. Ciel looked over at Sebastian, who was pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. Ciel couldn't agree more.
"We need you to tell us about these." Ciel handed him the bag. The undertaker was still laughing a bit when he handed it to him, but stopped all together when he looked inside the bag. "Yes, I know what these are, I've dealt with them only once before." The undertaker turned serious, "These are four of the seven Salagia amulets."
Sebastian's POV~
Flashback~
"Do such pendants even exist?" he questioned the red headed demon across from him.
"I'm sure of it! You and I, we could find those amulets, imagine! We could rule the world with that kind of power!" he said eagerly, icy blue eyes full of determination.
"I'd much appreciate if you kept me out of your fairytales. Just because you read something in our academy's library, doesn't make it a fact. Now come on, we're going to be late for Alchemy." He reasoned as they strutted faster towards class.
End of Flashback~
Sebastian knew well enough about the infamous Salagia amulets. They were known, by angels and demons alike, to create world peace. Or they could be used to throw the world into chaos.
"Salagia amulets?" Avella asked. The undertaker looked up , "You've all heard of the seven deadly sins I'm sure. Well each amulet represents one of those sins. No one really understands how the amulets work, but they have the potential to-"
"create world peace, or to end the world." Sebastian finished for him.
The undertaker smiled, "I knew you would be familiar with them, of all people Sebastian."
"Why does world peace sound like a bad thing?" Avella asked.
"Since these amulets have ties to emotions it can control people decisions. The world is in balance when a certain person in the sky controls them, if someone were to shift that balance, well you see what's been going on in the world." The undertaker started to laugh again.
"So where are the other amulets?" asked his master.
"With the one who made the world of course! Someone, or should I say some demon must have attempted to steal all of the amulets, but only seemed to have time to steal four."
The undertaker seemed to be getting anxious. "They need to be returned to the only responsible one who truly understands the amulets, to put the world back in balance he needs all seven!"
"How do we do that then?" Avella questioned him.
The undertaker grinned evilly, "I haven't the slightest idea!" then he fell into a fit of maniacal laughter.
"Let's get out of here, whether or not the world ends I want to keep my sanity." ordered his master.
Time skip~
As he was preparing his master for bed, "Sebastian?" his master asked.
"My lord?" he answered. "What did the Undertaker mean, to return the amulets to the only responsible one who understood them?"
He smirked, 'So my master caught that subtle detail.'
"Of course he didn't create the sins. When Lucifer and his followers fell from heaven, he and six others wanted revenge against him. And so they created copies of their most deadly sins into interactive objects and 'introduced' them to mankind. They called the amuletsSuperbia, Avaritia, Luxuria, Invidia, Gula, Ira, and Acedia. Or Salagia, for short. He found out about these and ordered his angels to retrieve the amulets, and since mankind already obtained impurity he could only keep the world an equal balance of black and white."
His master yawned and said, "They only question is, how did Avella's mother obtain the four amulets in the first place?" Sebastian didn't know the answer to that. "The moon is high, young master. You should get some rest."
