I was asked (very nicely I may add) to continue these one shots even though we've had the first kiss. Well how could I say no? I have two more in the pipelines, and then who knows? I might continue it if I get any inspiration :)
Okay so this is early season one, purely because I do miss Shauna!

Also if I hadn't mentioned before:
I OWN NOTHING

"Please get rid of that horrible thing!" Mindy's voice radiating through the office walls.
"No chance it's for charity!" Danny replied stroking the thick stubble on his chin and cheeks.
"I think it's sexy Dr Castellano" Shauna said flirtily, trying to get his attention. It worked, but he just looked confused.
"Yeah... So Mindy do you wanna sponsor me?" He asked smiling his crooked smile.
It made her knees weak, even with the stubble. Especially with the stubble. It was sexy, but he could never know. She could feel the time passing and her cheeks reddening, so she grabbed some papers nearby and walked to her office "yeah ask me later, I might have gotten over that monstrosity and maybe even think about the... Which charity is it for?"
"A few local children's cancer charities, helping fund low income families."
Goddamn that was so sweet. Ugh. What a jerk. Being so... Nice. Mindy thought to herself before she said "Oh erm, that's good. Yeah come see me later." She looked only at the file she had just snatched as a distraction, but didn't really pay attention to it as she auto-piloted her way to her office.

As she sat down she realised she had actually grabbed one of Danny's files. Perfect. She had two options; •Return it and pass it off as a mistake.
•keep it, text Gwen and play temple run.

Of course, she chose the latter. After a while of running, there was a knock at her door.
"Damn! Come in!" She locked her phone in defeat, and looked up to see who it was.
"Hey you seem to have Mrs Beiterson's file. If I'm not mistaken that was mine wasn't it?" He smiled cockily, leaning his weight against her doorframe.
Dammit! Lately he seemed to be everywhere, and it was driving her insane. Almost as insane as the butterflies in her stomach were making her.
"Yeah I have it here" she said smiling, staring at his dark eyes. And his newly formed beard. And his mouth...
"So can I have it? Seriously Mindy what is going on with you? Do you need to take heartbreak days?" He laughed at his joke, which made her a little mad; because his teeth were so perfect!
"It's heartache days! And no I'm fine, just... erm tired." She said standing and handing him the file.
"Ahh up late? Ugh this thing is itchy as hell." He finished, clawing away into his beard. "Seriously feel how think this is! Three days growth." He said proudly.
"No thanks Danny, I can think of a lot of better things to do with my time."
"Oh come on!" She said, placing the file on the chair opposite her desk, he grabbed her wrist and placed her hand on his face.
"D'ya feel that?" He asked as her fingers gently held his cheek, sliding softly down to his jaw.
"Uh huh." Was all Mindy could manage to say. Her heartbeat quickened and she was sure it was close to beating right out of her chest. She felt the hair on his neck and two fingers found their way to his pulse. To her surprise he too had an erratic heart rate. She couldn't quite believe it. Her eyes widened as they went from looking at his neck to his eyes, to his lips. He looked down at her and parted his lips, as if he wanted to speak. Instead he took her hand, and pulled it away from his face.

She was shocked. She thought that was a moment, but apparently she was mistaken. He was walking towards her door... But he'd left the file."Danny you've forgotten-" she began but stopped immediately.

He hadn't left. He'd shut the door. And locked it from the inside.
"So erm... Are you going to sponsor me?" He said gruffly, walking over to her quickly.
"Sure. Yeah if you want-" Mindy mumbled, but she was cut off.
"Well you know, you should erm... feel it again. You know, to make sure you're sure." He said, stepping up to her completely, their faces inches apart.
"That's a reaally good idea" she said, her voice a whisper. He took her wrist again, this time taking both and pressed them against his face. She made an involuntary noise that was both a sigh and a word, (which word she did not know) while Danny slid his hands down her bare arms to her shoulders and down the back of her dress. He rested his forehead on hers, their ragged breath meeting one another's in the small space between their lips. His hands had rested on the small of her back when they finally looked into each other's eyes.
"So... Do you want to?" He whispered as she thumbed his jawline.
"God yes." She said in broken speech as she pulled his face down to hers whilst moving her hands go his neck. She kissed him passionately, and it took no time at all to be reciprocated. He lifted her up from her thighs, forcing her to wrap her legs around him.
There was a knock at the door and a voice boomed through "Dr L? Have you seen Danny? His 11:45 is here."
They quickly separated, and he put her down, while she wiped his lips to remove the pinkish stains her lipstick had made. He smirked and kissed her quickly, so she had to do the action again. He grabbed the file and unlocked the door.
Shauna stood with crossed arms and pursed lips, tapping her foot.
"Thanks Betsy. Mindy, I appreciate your help with this patient."
Shauna followed him across the office trying to correct him, but he disappeared into his office with a heavily pregnant woman with a ridiculous smile on his face.
Mindy called her next patient early and did the exact same thing.

I thought I'd keep it short, sweet and sexy. I also considered a joke about Mindy and Danny being short, sweet and sexy but I'm far too tired. i hope you enjoyed it!
