Hi guys, and hopefully girls. I am trying to update more and make my chapters longer, I hope you can tell. I would like to clarify some things first. Where we are in the story, Natsu and everyone else are still kids. Laxus was not using his Dragon Slayer Magic so he wasn't really going all out. Natsu at this point in their lives, is pretty much the only one who worked himself unconscious on a daily basis, and he has more experience in the field than the other kids. By the way… I FORGOT TO INCLUDE SKILLET IN MY MUSIC CHOICES! If you want that it is an option. Shout out to , DraigTrueEmperor9, and DisasterMaster0. I thank for her constant messages and positive feedback (all of you have done that too. I think you deserve a pat on the back.), I did enjoy DraigTrueEmperor9's review (helpful), and DisasterMaster0 is the only one who gave a review for who trains Natsu ( L I think we can do better than 1 person right? Anyway, thanks DisasterMaster0!). As of right now, Natsu is staying with my rock music and later God Serena will be training Natsu. If you do not like this, leave my a review saying what you want. After this chapter I am giving everyone the choice to skip forward to around when Lucy comes, or keep going with the little kids for now. Let me know quick. I've gone on enough, here is the chapter. Natsu could hate many things, but the view Lisanna was showing him was beautiful. He sighed. Lisanna looked at him and smiled.
"Whaddaya thinking about, Natsu?" Natsu looked at her then out at the sky, before responding somewhat gruffly,
"It's nothing important. Nothing that concerns anyone else." Lisanna frowned and grabbed his shoulders. She knew it was a risk, but seeing him, she couldn't help but think he was lonely.
"You know, Mira-nee says that holding in your thoughts can be bad for your health. Why don't you tell me, it can be our little secret." Natsu cocked his head.
"Is it really bad to keep your thoughts to yourself?" Lisanna nodded, not knowing that Mira had only said that so Lisanna would tell her all the secrets she knew.
"I guess… if it can hurt you… I was thinking about how different my life would have been if… Acnologia had never found me, or found me and never left me. Looking at all you humans at Fairy Tail. I almost want it. To be like you, with no fears, no problems. I guess that is what I really want, people who accept me for me." Lisanna smiled softly. Finally she had reached the person hiding under those dragon scales.
"Everyone has problems. They may not be as bad as yours, but everyone here has darkness in their life. We act as a family because the people here, they don't care who you were. They care who you are now. They want to believe that you would share their burden, so being able to share their feelings with others who understand, it helps them move forward. You can too, you just have to let us in, we want to help you." Natsu lay down, eyes closed, taking deep breaths.
"Thank you. Being around people is hard right now… my whole life I was taught that humans were bugs, dirty, harmful, annoying. I was taught that was my job to kill them. Now everything I knew is being questioned. I've seen my share of awful people, but you guys, I couldn't do it, I couldn't kill you. No one here has been anything like what I was told. What else is a lie? What else do I not know? If the time comes that you need my help, I will help. But right now, I can try, one person at a time, to incorporate myself with you. Laxus proved he wasn't all bad, and not as weak as I thought, Mira tried to help me understand, and now you talking to me. Right now you three are the only ones I trust. Thanks for showing me this place by the way. I should probably go try to find a place to stay. Macarov told me about a bed on my way here, they sound simple enough, but I should probably go try to find one." Natsu got up and walked started towards the main shopping part of the city.
Lisanna sat there, looking at the sky, before she too stood up and left, instead, going to her house. Maybe she would get him a house warming gift, after all he had to have a house right? Lisanna hummed as she walked.
Guild Hall
Macravo couldn't help but stare as two of the most attractive girls in his guild wrestled, their magic power spent. He pulled out a camera to take picture, although he was pretty sure that they would kill him for the photos. After a few minutes the two mages lay on their backs, panting (sorry I didn't put in a fight scene, I will later).
"Haha… I win tin can. You can't move." Mira weakly cheered. Erza glared at her.
"Don't make me laugh, you can't move either, your hair is messed up, AND…." Erza scooted closer to whisper, "I don't think Natsu would like your body when it is coated in dirt." Mira blushed and reached out and grabbed Erza's hair.
"I don't think Natsu would like that hole in your armor. It's kind of revealing don't you think, you wouldn't want him to see how flat your chest is, would you?" Erza gasped and looked down.
"… Bitch I'll kill you."
With Natsu
The pink haired mage walked, looking around at his surroundings. Stores and restaurants littered the streets, Natsu couldn't figure out why they had so many.
'That place says Mexican food, and that one says Chinese food. What's the difference? You just kill it and put it in your mouth, right?'
Shaking his head, Natsu kept going. He stopped once in a while to look at things in the windows, all seemingly useless to him.
'I know I'm supposed to find somewhere to live, but this is too noisy. If I stay here and have to listen to this all day and all night, I really will kill them all. Uggh, the old geezer told me I couldn't kill people here. Damn, I'll have to find somewhere else.'
Not realizing that the noise had died away, Natsu found himself at the foot of a mountain. While not nearly as big as Mount Hakobe, this mountain was certainly big. Small trees dotted the outside, and Natsu's keen ears detected what sounded like running water. He smiled to himself, "this is more like it."
Using his magic like fuel, Natsu raced to a part of the mountain with a flat, vertical surface. 'I probably shouldn't wreck the mountain… so I'm guessing I shouldn't use magic.' Natsu drew back his fist, and punched the side of the mountain. For a second nothing happened. Then with a crash, the rrock crumbled, leaving a big hole in it's wake. Noticing the darkness, Natsu ripped out a tree by it's roots and broke it up into pieces. Shoving the bits of the tree into small hole he made with his pinky, Natsu emptied his pockets onto the floor. He picked up a magic lighter and lit the bark on fire. With the magic lighter, neither the bark nor the fire would ever die out without his doing so. As Natsu threw the lighter back down, he noticed the headphones that Laxus had given him. Blankly, he picked them up and put them on. The lyrics to Comatose by Skillet wafted up through his ears. For a moment he didn't do anything, then his eyes narrowed, his face broke into a grin, and he flopped down, arms behind his head as he nodded to the beat.
'I can find out more tomorrow.'
Hey guys, sorry its been so long. My friend recently committed suicide, then another guy got bowl cancer, and then I got sick for two weeks and missed all my midterms. I was also in the hospital because doctors thought there was a virus attacking my heart and I'm playing on two soccer teams. I have made up most of my stuff so I should be able to update more frequently. On a better note I'm going to write another story. I'm definitely continuing this one but ever since my first ever friend and I were 5 years old we loved, and still do love, Harry Potter. I am writing her a Harry Potter story for her birthday, so if you are a fan please read and let me know what you think before I send her the link (might not happen for a bit though).
Also most of this I wrote a while ago and never finished it. I am not quite in sync with the thought process as I was when I wrote it. Sorry if this was bad. I was wondering if, since the dragons hid inside their respective dragon slayers, you would like Natsu to find Igneel and learn Fire Dragon Slayer magic. Rather than the lightning flame dragon, the apocalypse flame dragon. Or if you want, he could get fire and lightning. I dunno, I just like the idea of fire. Sorry it was so short too L.
I have one request from you all: PLEASE REVIEW! Part of the reason I didn't post earlier was because I had writers block. Tell me any idea you have, please. Also please get on my case about updating. Do it on here, on Facebook, in and email, just please do it.
