Princess and the Fanboy

Disclaimer: Don't own Gokaiger or the rest of the Super Sentai series.

(Takes place sometime after the death of Warz Gil)

Gai and Ahem are just stepping out of a movie theater, watching what Ahim chose for their first date. After getting defeated by the Zangyack Prince badly after the first round, only to come around and create their ultimate Giant Robo combo, Kanzen GokaiOh, giving the prince his ultimate defeat, that lead to the brat's death, both agreed that life was too short, especially for a Super Sentai member, and Gai asked if she wanted to go on a date with him. While she hesitant at first, because when she decided to become a part of the Gokaigers, her main priority was to bring back what's left of her people scattered throughout the universe back together and rebuild what got destroyed, with romance being the last thing on her to do list, Luca talked her into it. While it took some convincing, but Luca was persistent in making sure her little sister has some kind of happiness in her life, before she ends up missing out on too much.

After some planning, they went to see Cars 2, because hey, where can you go wrong with Disney? And now that they are leaving the theater, not aware of the fact that their comrades are not too far behind, snooping/observing, enjoying the show while making sure nothing goes completely wrong from an outside perspective.

Anyway, after walking past a bald American a while ago, looking for something bizarre to eat (if you don't get the joke, watch Travel Channel for the clue,) they decided to find a non-bizarre place to have dinner. When they came upon Dino Curry, they noticed a group a few blocks away, with the ones in the center causing a commotion. The pair ignored them and stepped inside, not realizing that they have been spotted.

While every Sentai team has dealt with unique individuals, from those who become worthy allies to those who become good friends that mean well, but have to be taught what really makes a hero, which is through the power of the heart and the power of the suits. Unfortunately, the one thing that doesn't get brought up are the humans who lost somebody during one of the battles in the past, or in some cases, the first Zangyack Invasion, and while they can't, or won't, face the villains, so instead, they decide to make the Super Sentai the scapegoats for all the live that were taken out during their fights with strong monsters, wither regular or giant size, or the ones that they couldn't save, even if they tried, because of how long it took to catch the one doing it. Basically, either tired of the destruction caused by their battles, or looking for somebody to blame for their loses.

As for the other four, they noticed the look, which said somebody is going to try something bad, or rather, really stupid, to make Gai and Ahim's night end with something bad. So they decided to play interference when needed. But first, judging by the large growling from their captain, might as well grab a dinner and a show.

Back to the dating pair, after stepping into the restaurant, while spotting the familiar faces of some of their sempai, and Gai having the decency not to hysteric fanboy mode, otherwise, except for a couple of others, the place itself wasn't too busy. Finding a nice little spot somewhere in the middle, not too far from an old married couple talking to a tall, blue dog, and a woman with what appears to be a pair of swan feathers on her head, with some beads hanging from them.

After sitting down and placing their orders, "Are you having a good time, Ahim?" Gai asked the princess.

Ahim gave a sincere smile, "Yes, I am having a pleasant time." She said, "I never knew that something like, what you call, cartoon, can be so entertaining."

Gai gave a small chuckle, because of how much Ahim seemed to enjoy something that is originally made for children. "Yeah, well, I wasn't sure what you would enjoy, especially since I'm not sure if you or any of the others ever got to enjoy those kind of things while you were traveling."

Ahim gave a small shake of her head, "Not on my home world, we do not." She said, while taking a small sip of water, "On Famille, while we do have technology, like the computer on the Galleon, which is to be used only for such things as news and communications, we still follow traditions that are considered as old as time."

Gai found himself curious about something that wasn't primarily Super Sentai, or rather, he is learning something new about one of his teammate's who just so happened to start taking up some space in his heart. "If it's not too painful for you to remember, what was life like on Famille?" He asked, to which, even though painful, Ahim was more than glad to share.

At the older group, or rather, the old married couple, and the ones that don't want to admit to anything, "So those two are the Gokaigers, along with the ones in back?" Said one Isamu Ozu, sitting by his wife Miyuki, Wolzard Fire and MagiMother of MagiRangers, and also, parents of the main five, and in-laws of the sixth.

"Yes, although Doggie here was going to arrest the five that came here just because they are pirates, who were wanted by an invading empire." Said the woman, Swan Shirataki, DekaRanger's DekaSwan, putting her date on the spot.

Said pooch, Doggie Kruger, (before anybody corrects me, the one in Power Rangers SPD, is called Anubis Cruger, with Doggie being just a nickname that Kat calls him), DekaRanger's DekaMaster, was too ashamed to deny it, and he knows Swan would call him out on it. "Yes, I admit, I let my hate for pirate blind me to where I refuse to admit that not only pirates are our only chance of saving the Earth, but also the fact that they are also Super Sentai." He said, before looking at the dating pair, who seems to becoming more used to the other's company. "While they have earned my respect, despite the attitude of three of them, I still wonder if they really fit the description of what is normally used for pirates."

This was when a slight "Hey!" Was heard, getting their attention. Looking over at the end of their table, was Captain Marvelous, with his arms crossed, and a look that said he was serious. Looking over behind him, while the couple seemed to be oblivious, the other three had their hands on their heads, showing how this is one of those moments where even they aren't too impressed with their friend's lack of tack, "You two are SPD, right?"

While Kruger looked like he wanted to pound the guy into the ground for interrupting their time off, "Yes, me and Doggie here are." Swan said, trying to defuse the situation.

Marvelous looked at both of them, "Well if any of you can get a hold of them, some law enforcement is going to be needed real soon." He said, getting a suspicious look from Kruger and Isamu, only for the man to not seem effected by them, "When we came here, we noticed some anti-sentai group a couple blocks from here, and I think they might have noticed my friends over there," He said, while pointing towards Gai and Ahim, who are now eating their food, still not aware of the four snoops, "And we figured we let you guys take care of the locals, the cop way, because if you don't, and if our friends were to get hurt in anyway by these guys, there will be hell to pay." He then walked away, pretty much saying that there would be no room for argument on this subject.

While not liking the idea of being told what to do by a pirate, even if he is a Sentai member, he respected the fact that this guy had the nerve to pretty much say that he is giving him the chance to keep the peace, or rather, keep some really dumb idiots safe from their own stupidity. "Hey," Doggie said, getting GokaiRed's attention, "Why did you come to us instead of handling the matter yourselves?"

Marvelous gave a small shrug, "Don't know, maybe it's because I've seen the good that my apprentice goes on about this world, along with why all of you would go so far to protect, no matter what." He said, sounding like he didn't care, but realistically, they can tell that they have taken a liken to the Earth.

Standing up, he moved to a small isolated spot in the restaurant, while pulling out his Master License to make the call. "Is he really going to call the police to handle a bunch of protestors?" Miyuki asked.

Swan gave a small sigh, "Unfortunately, the protestors started getting worse after the invasion, when we thought there would be peace once we gave up our Sentai powers to stop the first invasion." She started to explain, "Like they were mocking us, from vandalizing to a small few even going as far as attacking a good portion of us out in the open. We even had to prevent a riot from starting when the Gokaigers first came here, because of the fact that once word spread about the older Sentai actually supporting them, even letting them borrow our powers for not only keeping the Zangyack at bay, but also for finding this treasure of theirs."

The Ozu parents nodded at this, after hearing from their youngest child Kai, MagiRed, who was the first of the Sentai to meet the Gokaigers, or rather, the main five, and gave them access to their first grand power, after testing two of them, while also teaching them a little something that they needed to find out for themselves, especially when it becomes time for them to discover what the 'Greatest Treasure in the Universe' truly is. And after hearing from the rest of their children on having to deal with these people, some of them have been forced to be extra cautious since their magical powers went with their Sentai powers.

Deciding to change topics, because chances are, even if law enforcement did come by to try and defuse something from getting worse, they would provide back up for the young couple that are a few tables down from them.

Back to said couple, after learning more about the other's world, and in some ways, each other, "So Gai, can I ask you a personal question?" Ahim asked. When she got a nod in return, "Why do you like Super Sentai so much?"

Gai gave a small sigh, with a sad look, one not regularly seen on him, yet a pat on his hand by Ahim, which pretty much said he didn't have to if he didn't feel comfortable about the topic. Giving another small sigh, "I won't give you the whole story, but to put it simply, after moving around for as long as I have, Super Sentai was the only constant thing in my life that gave he hope for the future, and it help me to believe that no matter how bad things get, there is always good waiting for you as long as you're willing to do your part to get it."

Sensing that is all she is going to get, Ahim gave him a small understanding smile. Seeing that they were done with their meals, "Shall we order some dessert?"

Gai gave her a small smile in return, "Definitely."

Well folks, here is the latest chapter, which also be a part 1, where you would have to wait a couple of chapters before part 2 kicks in. Sorry it's not much, been dealing with some personal issues, and also, wanted to do a chapter that shows how Super Sentai would deal with issues on the homefront, especially if it involves those who aren't too pleased with the teams, especially those with certain issues. Mainly throw in a bit of realism. Anyway, Read and Review.
