katniss pov
While i walked home i could not believe what i had heard from peeta.
Could glimmer brainwash people like that? I was so tired i wanted prim to
carry me but when i tried she would yell, which made my head hurt.
Glimmer pov
"So you took peeta away from katniss?" Clove asked confused
"Ugh I'm trying to think."
"Okay dang."
" I'm sorry but i am just so annoyed!" Says glimmer calmly
" What?! Why you get what ever you want times two!"
" You don't get it though, peeta likes katniss."
" How do you know?"
" The way his cheeks turned tomato red when she walked by.."
" Oh Paleeze it probably because she smells like dead fish!"
Glimmer and Clove start laughing.
" I guess your right but if he blushes at her.. its katniss who will feel my wrath!"

peeta pov
"hey pete." Says peetas father coming down the steps of there home/bakery
" Hey dad, I know how did school go, It went great can I leave?" Peeta says fastly annoyed.
" Why not? But your brothers are going out tonight you need to take there shifts."
" C'mon dad! How's that fair!"
"Sorry peeta id help but your mother and i are leaving town for a bit."

I was so annoyed at my father, Even though he was a better parent at raising me up he did take
som bad turns. I walked up to my bedroom and sat down on my bed, When my phone buzzed and
It was a text from glimmer.
Glimmer: Huy peta itz glimmer bon fire at 8 dont miss out!
Peeta: Hey I go but I will be busy tonight...
Glimmer: Gur u haf 2 its guna be fun!
Peeta: I guess i will think of something.

I swear on everything glimmer is driving me nuts! We have been seeing each other for only one
day and she is already sneaking me out if only i found a way...
Katniss pov
We sat down at the lunch table when i got a text from glimmer... Which was weird but i decided
to see what she wanted any way. She was inviting me to a bonfire tonight,
At first i thought why the **** did she invite me? Then i thought its a new year maybe its not a scam?
"Hey mom can i go to a bonfire today?"
"Why not?" She says smiling
"Thanks !"
"Katniss you promised to buy me cookies!" Wined prim
"Well hurry lets go" I say annoyed
AT BAKERY
I opened the door and i soon as i walked in saw him. HIM. I freaked out i was a mess! I was wearing my
black leggings and my lifeguard baggy sweatshirt with my hair in a messy bun! But before i could run out
he called my name!
"Hey katniss, its peeta."
"I didn't know you worked here..."
" Well that's no the first thing i usually tell girls." He says
I couldn't stop staring at his eyes they were almost perfect!
"Hey umm were you gonna buy something?"
"Oh sorry um yeah." Oh god i got so lost i didn't here him!
" Katy i want this one!"
" Lets hurry then!"
"Oh um katniss this is my number, 336-8741."
"Thanks i will call you!"
