i am currently now writing 4 so i will not be able to update this one everyday thought i will try. Well i don't own any of the characters and i hope you like The glass dagger.
The huge man with redish orange fur went first, flash whispered to the man behind him.
"Who is that?" he asked keeping an eye on the archers and how they shot.
"Hmm? Oh his name tirek" the man replied nuging flash forward.
Flash took his spot on the line in front of the 200 yard target, the farthest target.
"You sure you want that sunny" the weapon master laughed.
"He knows he's going to lose" tirek chuckled, flash moved there voices to the corner of his mind and calmed himself.
His eyes fixed upon the target he pulled out his first arrow, he could barely see the 3 inner circles.
Closing his eyes he breathed in deeply, a strange buzzing started in his blood, ignoring it he raised the bow to his cheek and fired.
He loosed all the arrows in a matter of seconds, the first arrow sank half threw the center of the target, the rest of the arrows each slit the one before it until the last arrow stuck out of the mass of splinters.
Flash walked with the group to see his score, they all stared in amazement, even flash's eyes widened in surprise.
The rest of the contest went quickly, the man that got eliminated was a jewel thief from canto.
Flash returned to his quarters to find himself with nothing to do, he quickly pulled some parchment and quill over to him.
"Dear princess of twilight, i wish to ask if i can have access to the royal library, i have learned that you need access to enter so that is why i have sent this request, signed Flash sentry your champion" flash read his letter to make sure the punctuation was correct before giving it to edna for the princess.
A couple hours later Edna returned with a stack of books and a reply.
"Thank you, you are dismissed" flash said taking the books and letter, the royal seal was unlike any he had seen, it was a 6 pointed star, the red wax looked like it had just been sealed.
He felt it, there was still warmth, it felt like a fireplace that had been out for ten minutes.
He broke the seal and opened the letter.
"Dear Flash, of course you can go to the library, i hereby say you have access to it. I chose some books that might interest you, remember if you ever need to find me i'll probably be in the library, that or in court with princess moon, best of wishes princess of twilight"
Flash grinned ever so slightly at her reply, he then set it down and looked towards the books.
Most of the books were fictional, but some told of the history and legends of rodvork.
Flash nodded to each book and choose one before laying on his bed and soon diving into the book like a fish towards water.

The next three challenges when farrelly well for flash, tirek got first in all of them which miffed flash, everyday he seemed stronger and faster.
But everything changed when a murder was committed.
Reading his book oblivious to the deed that happened straight down his hallway flash waited for dinner.
The door banged open and captain dash entered her face red and concerned.
"You know anything about bodies assassin?" she asked holding the door open.
Flash nodded getting up, he walked out the door to be greeted by a horrific sight.
Blood lined the walls and guards were standing in the way of servants and healers who were trying to get a peak of what was behind them.
They moved aside for captain dash and flash only to make the crowd gasp in shock and many of the women faint on the spot.
Flash kept a straight face as he walked towards the corpse.
It's chest was cut open and it's vital organs were missing, there was a hole in his head and the brain was gone.
Blood and other bodily fluids where crusted and streaming across the stones.
Flash noticed claw marks going four inches into the stone, "what sort of creature could claw four inches into stone?" he mumbled running different monsters and animals threw his head.
Markings on the wall caught his eyes, most where smudged beyond recognition but he could faintly make out a few.
They looked like lines, but they couldn't be they were arranged to organized that they had to mean something.
Flash made a mental note to find any books on writing and languages, as captain dash got up from crouching.
"What do you make of this" she asked putting her hands on her hips looking away.
Flash nodde towards the claw marks, "had to be something big and strong to cut four inches into stone… i noticed this though"
Flash nodded towards the blood on the wall and then to the body.
"Same blood, and his chest cavity was torn open, not cut so no weapons"
The captain widened her eyes, "how do you know it's the same blood?"
Flash walked towards the body and dipped his finger into it, he then walked to the marking and smeared some of the blood next to them.
"Id say this happened 3 hours ago, the blood matches up because look here" flash answered pointing some small dots in the blood and markings.
"He had black pox" dash breethed, turning to the guards she spoke. "Burn the body after it's documented.
"Burn it captain?" the soldier asked for confirmation.
"Yes burn it, we can't have any outbreaks" dash confirmed.
Flash nodded towards the captain, "glad i could be of service but may i please be dismissed" he asked.
Dash nodded and stomped off, flash watched her until she turned a corner and disappear before turning and stalking towards the library.

Walking in between mountains of books and selves flash ran his hand upon volumes of literature.
A cough sounded somewhere a couple rows away making flash turn towards the noise.
In a little sort of den sat upon a pillow was the princess of twilight, flash blinked a couple times watching as she sped through books faster than he thought anyone could read.
"Um princess…" he said trying to get her attention, it failed.
Smacking his head on the bookshelf he accidentally dislodged a book, it fell to the ground with a loud thump like the foot fall of the ferea.
The princess jumped at the sound and turned to flash, "flash? What are you doing in this section of the library?"
"Um i heard you cough and went to investigate?" he quickly responded noticing he got her attention.
"Oh, sorry the dust from this book did that" she blushed in embarrassment.
"What even is this section?" flash asked looking around.
"Oh it's the… myth and legend section, i've been researching on what magic was like before the purge" she said in a low voice sticking her head out of the book den.
"Wait why would a princess be wondering about magic… didn't the sun princess get rid of it?" flash asked narrowing his eyes slightly.
"Well yes but i tried to change her mind, she's grown colder and more distant" the princess trailed off a far off look in her eyes.
"So are you going to the ball?" she asked snapping out of her flashback.
"Wait there's a ball?" flash said oblivious to the party.
"Well of course, well i think your allowed, ask captain dash, oh and hear" the princess handed him a heavy volume on the magic elements.
"Thanks" flash gasped at the heaviness, the book had to weigh 70 pounds and it was 3 feet high.
"Anytime" she said cheerfully.
