After breakfast, once everyone was fully awake Pain made his announcement that there was going to be a mission.
"We need to do recon on 6 tails, I have a few leads that require follow up," he said, running a hand through is bright orange hair.
"Who's going Boss?" Kisame asked.
"Myself, Konan, Itachi, and you Kisame," Pain responded. The group was sitting around the kitchen table, though everyone was no dressed for the day. Yen felt D's hand on her leg when Pain said that Itachi would be going on said mission and rolled her, but put her hand over his anyway.
"I don't want to be gone any longer than 3 days," Pain continued, "and we will leave in one hour." With that, Pain left the kitchen presumably to ready his things. The group dispersed talking about how the mission would go and what the others would find. Itachi came and put a hand on Yen's shoulder and asked her to come upstairs with him.
"What's up?" she asked, once they were in his room. She sat on his bed as he pulled a bag out from his closet and started packing the few things he would need for the short mission.
"I don't want to leave while you are here," he said, "I don't trust Deidara to be alone with you." Yen rolled her eyes at the protective brother routine.
"Oni-san," she said, he turned and looked at her, "I love him, but I'm not stupid. However, it is my body and I will do with it as I please. I'm not a child any longer." Itachi's eyes narrowed.
"You are not yet an adult either," he said.
"Sasuke and I raised ourselves, I haven't been a child in a long time. If I was adult enough to take care of myself I feel that I am adult enough to make decisions about sleeping with my boyfriend," Yen retorted. At this Itachi frowned, this was not how he was planning this conversation.
"Yen, I was never very far away and the Hokage and I had a deal-"
"I know, but we still had to get by on our own," Yen looked down at her hands, "Oni-san, I will not sleep with Deidara while you are gone. Alright?" she looked up at him, she really didn't want to be the cause of Itachi getting hurt because he was distracted while worry about her, even though worrying about her wasn't necessary, since she was more than capable of taking care of herself.
"Thank you," Itachi said. Yen smiled softly at him, while he wasn't really her brother he always acted like it. It had been awhile since someone had tried to watch out for her like this.
"Now, are we done with this awkward conversation or shall we take about whether or not I'm still a virgin next?" Yen laughed when she saw Itachi's eyes widen and his face pale.
"No, I think I'd rather skip that conversation," he said, turning his back to her.
"Good, me too," she got up off his bed and kissed him on the check, "be careful on your mission, okay?"
"Okay," he replied. Yen stepped back out into the hallway and shut his door behind her. She looked over and saw Deidara leaning against the wall. He smiled and waved and Yen rolled her eyes and smiled as she walked over to him.
"So what did you two talk about?" he asked, as he put his hands on her waist and pulled her close.
"Oni-san just wanted to make sure we weren't going to do anything scandalous while he was gone," Yen replied, putting her hands around his neck and kissing him.
"But I like scandalous," D said, his pupils large and his voice growing husky. Yen smiled suggestively.
"Well, too bad for you because I promised I'd be good," Yen stepped out of D's embrace and started downstairs.
"Wait, what?" Deidara quickly followed after, "But you were just saying that, right?"
"Deidara! Are you implying that I would lie to my Oni-san?" Yen raised an eyebrow.
"Come on, you can't be serious! We finally get some alone time and-"
"And you will be keeping your hands off of my sister," Deidara jumped as Itachi appeared behind him. Yen laughed and D backed away.
"Yeah-h, of-f course," Deidara stuttered, causing Yen to laugh harder. Itachi glared at Deidara then turned to Kisame as he came down the stairs.
"Ready to go, Partner?" Kisame asked Itachi, Itachi responded with a single nod. A few minutes later everyone was gathered in the living room.
"Alright, we will only be gone 3 days. I don't want to come back to a disaster," Pain said, leveling a glare at Hidan who held up his hands in surrender, "now if everyone's ready, let's by off." The four left and the rest sat in the living room not sure what to do next.
"We should throw party!" Hidan said. Kakuzu smacked him over the head.
"We cannot have a party in a secret lair, idiot, because then it would no longer be secret!" Kakuzu hissed.
"We could play seven minutes in heaven," Deidara suggested, wiggling his eyebrows at Yen.
"No thanks," she said.
"Tobi wants to play hide and seek!" Tobi said, raising his hand and jumping up and down. Everyone turned and looked at the child like Uchiha.
"Okay," Zetsu's light side said.
"I am NOT playing hide and seek," Kakuzu said.
"Oh, come on Kuzu. It'll be fun, if you win Tobi will owe you $20," Yen said.
"Hey!" Tobi cried.
"Don't you want Kuzu to play?" Yen asked. Tobi thought about.
"Yeah, I guess," Tobi agreed.
"Make it $50," Kakuzu countered.
"$30" Yen shot back.
"$45," Kakuzu responded.
"$40, final offer," Yen narrowed her eyes.
"Deal," they shook on it, "pleasure doing business with you," Kakuzu said.
"Likewise," Yen flashed him a smiled, then grabbed Sasori by the back of his robe as he attempted to go back upstairs.
"Oh no, you gotta play too," Yen said, he turned and glared at her. In response Yen simply smiled. Sasori rolled his eyes and flopped down onto the couch.
"So who's going to seek first?" White Zetsu asked.
"This is so stupid," Black Zetsu said.
"No it'll be fun," White Zetsu said.
"Not it!" Yen shouted followed by a chorus of Not it's, Tobi was the last to shout thus making him 'it'. He started counting and everyone took off running. Zetsu sunk into a wall, while Sasori anchored himself to the ceiling. Hidan crawled into the cupboard under the kitchen sink while Kakuzu, Deidara, and Yen ran upstairs. Kakuzu ducked into the bathroom and locked the door while Yen and Deidara squeezed into the linen closet. It was a tiny space and they were pushed up against each other.
"Well hello there," D said, nuzzling Yen's neck. Yen giggled.
"Shhh, you've got to be quiet," she whispered.
"I can do quiet, can you?" he started kissing her neck and running his hands up and down her sides making her shiver. She got her hands on either side of his face and brought his lips to hers. Gah, kissing Deidara was just one of the best things ever, Yen thought.
"Ready or not here I come!" Tobi yelled from downstairs. Yen pulled away from Deidara and whispered into his ear.
"Calm down big boy, or we're going to lose," she kissed his cheek and pulled away as far as the tiny space would allow.
"Found you Hidan!" Tobi yelled, followed by a flow of curses. Deidara could feel Yen's body shake as she laughed silently and he pulled her close again. Having her in his arms was one of the best things ever, he thought.
"Hey that's cheating!" Black Zetsu bellowed as Hidan pulled him out of the wall.
"No fair, Hidan!" White Zetsu yelled.
"Found you Zetsu!" Tobi cried with glee.
Yen could hear them coming up the stairs, but also Deidara's heartbeat. She relaxed into his embrace and he kissed the top of her head.
"Kakuzu, I know you're in there!" Tobi sang as he knocked on the bathroom door.
"No I'm not!" Kakuzu yelled back.
"Oh, okay," Tobi started to walked away.
"He just proved he's in there idiot!" Black Zetsu said, disappearing into the door and unlocking it from the other side.
"Haha, found you even though you tried to trick me!" Tobi pointed at Kakuzu who swiped at Zetsu who dodged.
"Now all that's left is Deidara, Yen, and Sasori!" Tobi counted off his the names.
"Well, Yen and Deidara are probably making out somewhere," Hidan said, though with a few added cuss words.
"Ewwww," Tobi wrinkled his nose under his mask. The four rummaged around looking in different rooms until the came to the closet in the hallway, Deidara waited until he knew they were going to open the door before kissing Yen again, this time however he put his hand up her shirt and reached around and squeezed her ass. The door opened, and Tobi screamed and slammed the door. Yen pushed Deidara away laughing and opened the door as Tobi flew down the steps. Deidara grinned at her.
"You're such an ass," she said smiling and shaking her head.
Zetsu was shaking his head and Hidan was laughing his ass off, Kakuzu just rolled his eyes.
"Does this mean the game's over now?" Kakuzu asked.
"Probably, let's go see if Tobi's okay," Yen said, going downstairs. Tobi was curled up on the couch.
"You okay, Tobi?" Yen asked.
"Are you descent?" he whimpered. Yen sat and petted his head.
"Yes Tobi, I'm sorry you got freaked. Deidara was just playing a mean prank." Tobi looked up and nodded, "Want to keep playing? You still need to find Sasori," Yen said.
"Okay," Tobi jumped up from the couch and continued his search, and it amazed Yen how fast he could bounce back and also how this guy was a criminal. How did that happen? Yen glanced up at the ceiling and saw Sasori and she gaped at him. That was a great hiding spot. He glared at her and she mimed zipping her lips and throwing away the key. He nodded once and looked over as the others came down the stairs.
The others helped Tobi search but no one looked up, they hunted through the entire lair but finally Tobi gave up.
"Ollie Ollie Oxen Free!" Tobi called, signaling the game was over and that Sasori had won. Sasori gracefully dropped from the ceiling in front of Tobi who yelped in surprise. Sasori smirked and went upstairs.
"Whelp, that's game," Yen said, "and it's getting late and I'm getting tired. I'll see you guys in the morning." She got up from the couch and stretched. The others said their good nights, but D followed her up the stairs.
"Where do you think you're going?" Yen asked as she stopped in front of her door.
"To bed," he smirked.
"Not with me you're not," she said.
"Aww, come on," he whined.
"I made a promise, D," Yen said, "Please don't ask me to break it."
"Fine, but I want a good night kiss," He said, he leaned in a grabbed Yen kissing her until she was dizzy and rethinking her promise-no,no she wouldn't be seduced into breaking her word. She pulled away, breathing hard.
"Good night Deidara," she quickly slipped into her room and shut the door and locked it. She flopped onto her and sighed. Why did she have to make that stupid promise!? Honestly, if she wanted to have sex with her boyfriend she it shouldn't be any of Itachi's business! But she had already sworn to be good and so she would, she didn't want to betray Itachi's trust and she knew that if she hadn't promised he'd be a stupid worrywart the whole time. Ugh, brothers! But she smiled as she crawled under the covers, because it was also really nice to have someone care.
