Chapter 4: Graduation, Insecurities, and fights. A lot of em'.

Today was the day Gohan and Sudoku would be Graduating from the grade that they were supposed to stay in for 2 years. They were really excited, as any kid would be over a Graduation Ceremony. You would have to go to the Academy for 2 months! These two kids were getting tired from all of the easy and boring stuff. Now, they would actually spend time learning some Jutsu! Gohan of course wasn't as excited as Sudoku was, but was still cheering on his friend for his amazement.

"Son-Gohan, Would you come up to receive your certificate?" The Instructor said. Gohan did as asked and went up to get his plaque.

"Any words of encouragement for your peers who are watching?" The Instructor asked. Gohan nooded. He took a deep breath, exhaled, and started his speech.

"6 Year olds of the Academy, i wish you much, so much, and even more for your next year. I hope you can Graduate from your Grade, and achieve better than me. I would love to see your progress, and… -Gohan put his hand behind his head, almost dropping his plaque and receiving a little chuckle from his classmates- Maybe have a little spar?" Gohan said. He got a bunch of alrights and cools, and then he walked off stage, Getting some claps and whispers throughout the area. Sudoku got a little jealous.

"Saitoh-Sudoku, Would you come up to receive your certificate?" The Instructor said. It was a millisecond after he said the word 'your' that Sudoku ran up, creating a gust of wind and somehow making a cloud of smoke to get his plaque.

"Any word of-" The Instructor started but was cut off by Sudoku interrupting him.

"I'M GONNA KICK SON-GOHAN'S ASS!" Sudoku Claimed. He yelled so much that his voice caught the attention of the Kazekage.

Gohan wasn't budging and actually smiled at the competition. He liked Sudoku, and as far as he knows, has been training to get better than him, which Gohan had calculated that would almost never happen in all the timelines, ever. He still liked having a good fight though, so to be honest he was intrigued by this.

"Mouth, Sudoku." The Instructor said. Sudoku just shrugged and went off without a word. The class was snickering.

Soon the others were getting their plaque, and after that was done, everyone was called out to go home. They did as that.

Gohan came home to his normal house, with trash in small parts of the house. He went to each place and then made sure to scrape up every piece of trash. Gohan started reading an Icha-Icha Novel, since he saw one of his peers read one, and the story looked good. What Gohan saw on the 5th page made him burn the Book to ashes. He called it a day, at dinner, and quietly, but surely fell sound asleep.

This is where that snake-man made his move.

The Snake-Man used his stealthy moves to slither up into Gohan's house. He made sure not to break anything as that would lead to disaster and failure of his plan. He absolutely did not want that to happen. The snake-man silently made a small needle through his mouth, about 3,000,000 nanometers in diameter, and stuck the needle into Gohan's neck. Gohan twinged a bit for 3 seconds, and stopped when the needle was out. Did I forget to mention that the man had a tube the size of a sword? The snake-man took some of Gohan's blood, which contained his DNA. The snake-man finally took off into his base.

Gohan woke up with a crick in his neck. Sudoku asked what was wrong, and Gohan said nothing. Gohan felt as though someone stole something from his house, but when he checked nothing was gone. His window was open, so that would make a lot of sense. Gohan had been thinking about this for a while now, and the more he thought, the more he hurt. Gohan decided to leave it alone because one, It hurt like hell, and two, because if he tried to figure it out it would only lead to problems the Hokage would have to deal with. Gohan just did what he would do normally.

1 year and 2 months later

Something was definitely wrong with Gohan. His head was hurting more than usual today. It felt like more and more of his blood was being poured from his head. He sat down, and just slept. Nothing else. Just…. Slept. Of course he had to figure out what was happening. He wouldn't just let this slip. Gohan slept for a few minutes, Minutes turned to hours, hours turned to days. Sudoku was keeping tabs and he was worried. How dare he almost die?? This didn't plague Sudoku, it just didn't sound right. He just called it a day and left to go to sleep. He figured he'd see his friend again at the academy.

Graduation day for Gohan and Others

Gohan didn't wake up. He couldn't. Everytime Sudoku tried to wake him up, he wouldn't budge. It was a nightmare everyday for Gohan. Sudoku decided to finally the Hokage about Gohan's 3-week Coma. It hurt him emotionally to see Gohan like this. Sudoku grabbed Gohan from his house and jogged over to the Hokage.

Sudoku: "Hokage! Hokage!"

Hiruzen: "What is it now, boy??"

"It's Gohan, He hasn't woken up for three weeks!"

Hokage was taken aback. Gohan? Sleep? 3 weeks? It didn't sound right. You can't even put the three into a sentence without choking up a laugh. He told Sudoku that he might be daydreaming. Again, Sudoku told him.

"Stop playing your tricks, Sudoku. If i knew Gohan any better than i-"

"YOU'RE WRONG!! GOHAN HAS BEEN SLEEP-". Sudoku stopped to see Hiruzen's look of disapproval. He corrected himself.

"Gohan has been sleeping for 3 weeks, sir. I don't even know if he'll wake up. To me he looks a little pale, to be honest." Sudoku explained. Hiruzen saw sadness Sudoku's eyes. It even pained him a little. Just a tiny bit, though. After Hiruzen took a moment to look at Gohan's skin, he Told Sudoku that he would be sending him to the Hospital, and that Sudoku should be walking home now. Sudoku didn't budge, though.

"Sudoku…" Hokage said in a 'shouldn't you be…' tone. Sudoku again, didn't budge.

"I'm not moving. I want to see Gohan get to the Hospital." Sudoku said. Hokage saw the determination in his tone, so, he had no choice but to listen to the child.

Sudoku got to the hospital along with Gohan… And there was…
