Hello everyone that is reading this or not. I am sorry for the late post, but my USB was acting up and losing data at random moments, so my editor recommend I use Google Drive, so from now on I will be using that. Before we get to the story I would like to thanks both QueenJJ and Zeta80 for allowing to use their OCs and for QueenJJ for being patience since chapter one. Also the Grimm use in here was created by me and my editor. That's all onwards with the story.

Cliff 0927hrs

Brandon stepped onto the small platform like the other students as he looked to both his left and right. On his right was a teen with brown hair and wore a suit of armor with a design of a bird with its wings outstretched ,as he had a grin or smirk that to others said 'I'm better then you' Brandon knew who this teen was, for one of his contacts asked him to steal a strongbox of jewelry from the Winchester's about four years ago. Brandon then looked farther down to see Alex next to a girl with black hair, amber eyes and a black bow on top of her head, Brandon thought that she may be a faunus, for her eyes looked like a cat, but threw the thought away as Alex looked at Brandon and gave him a friendly grin. Soon Ozpin stepped forward and said "For years, you have trained to become warriors, and today your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest."

Soon Ms. Goodwitch said something that Brandon didn't care as he waited for Ozpin to continue. Soon Goodwitch stopped talking as Ozpin continue "These teammates will be with your for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well"

Brandon turned to Alex as both nodded their heads as Ozpin continued "That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years"

Brandon heard someone yell 'What!' as Ozpin then said "After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path...or you will die."

Brandon began to wonder just what type of Grimms will he encounter in the forest as Alex thought the same thing, Ozpin then said "You will be monitored and graded through the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. You'll guard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Now are there any questions?"

Brandon heard Ozpin as he sighed and whispered to himself "Finally I was beginning to wonder when he'll shut up"

Brandon then heard something as he turned to the noise, only to see Alex launch into the air by the platform as the other students were launched as well as he said as he heard the clockworks started in his platform "Well shit"

Soon Brandon was launched into the air.

Emerald Forest 0930hrs

Alex flew through the air as he began to descend into the forest as he pulled out his tantō and quickly pulled the trigger firing four out of six bullets shells as the rest he did with his fox-like abilities as he jump from a tree branch and flipped down to the ground as he began to sprint north. Brandon flew over some students that ever descending as he pulled out his archangel and stab his sword into the trunk of the tree as the blade slowed Brandon, but his speed was too fast as the blade cut the tree as Brandon fell to the ground hard as he began to curse that would make a seaman cry in pride. Brandon slowly got up as he popped his back as he said "That's going to be sore tomorrow. God dammit, what was that jackass thinking"

Brandon sheathed the archangel as he sprint forward deep into the forest.

0932hrs

Alex slowed down as he tried to catch his breath as he began to think 'Now all I got to do is get a partner, reach the temple and hopefully meet Brandon and his partner, but that's a big if'

Alex's fox ears twitched as he drew out his wakizashi and went into the Niten ichi-ryu stance as a Beowolf appeared as the rest of it's pack jumped out of the bushes. Alex pulled out his tantō as the handle opened and ejected the four used shells as Alex quickly reloaded and shut the handle close and tightened his grip as the first Beowolf charged at him. Alex stayed in his stance, soon the beowolf lifted it's left claw up and Alex thrust his wakizashi towards the Beowolf's throat. The blade went straight through the beowolf's neck as Alex removed the blade and kicked the beowolf away, once the beowolf fell down; the pack charged at him. As the pack ran towards him, Alex pointed his tantō forward and pulled the trigger, firing the .50 caliber bullets killing five, as Alex saved the last bullet for later. The first beowolf reached Alex as he dodged the clawed hand as he slashed the arm off with his wakizashi and slashed the tantō across and decapitated the beowolf. Alex pushed down on the hidden button as the blade extended until it was a katana instead of a wakizashi, as Alex then sheathed the tantō, as he went into the Niten ichi-ryu stance again and took a deep breath. The remaining beowolves charged at him even after witnessing some of their pack members being killed easily. Alex released his breath as he vanished leaving only dust as the charging beowolves stopped and looked around, Alex reappeared with the katana in his left hand with the blade tip pointing upwards, as the beowolves' top half slided off and fell to the ground as Alex thrust the sword downward as the blood flicked off the steel edge. The blade then compressed back to the wakizashi, but Alex remembered about the alpha beowolf and quickly turned around to see that it was gone. Alex kept his guard up as he waited for the alpha to striker, but it didn't as Alex began to wonder where it was. Then some bushes rustled as Alex turned to it to see it to see the alpha jumped out of the bushes. It then began to circle around Alex as if he was an injury prey. But before the alpha had the chance to strike a scimitar slashed the alpha's head as someone who was a girl landed as the alpha's head fell to the ground. She had maroon-black hair that went to her mid back, she was wearing a gold long sleeve shirt which the sleeves were puffy, which was covered by a sleeveless maroon vest and maroon tights that looked like pants if you looked at them from a distance and had knee-high boots with black laces. On her hands were black gloves. As she stood up with the scimitar that was also maroon with a golden hilt in her left hand, Alex saw on her vest, on the right chest pocket was a white lily. Alex just blinked as she stared at him as Alex noticed that her eyes were forest green with brown complexation, they both looked at each other. Alex then spoke first "So, I guess we're partners now"

The girl just nodded her head as Alex held his left hand put as the girl just stared at him as he said "Don't worry, I'm not like what most people say about faunuses"

The girl slowly reached her hand out as it gripped Alex's left as they shook hands as she softly said M...my name is...Mae" Alex smiled as he said "Mae, huh that a nice name. My name is Alexander or Alex for short"

Mae just smiled a little as they released their grip. They both sheathed their weapons, soon Mae ask softly "What do you...call them" Alex responded "My swords don't really have names"

Mae thought for a bit then said while pointing at Alex wakizashi "Arbiter" then to Alex's tantō "Umbra Orientem"

Alex just blinked while thinking about the names and said "Alright they'll do, let's go then"

Both Alex and Mae began to run to the northern end of the forest.

0937hrs

Brandon walked forward as he kept his guard up for he knew that somewhere around here a Grimm could be waiting for the perfect moment to strike. As Brandon moved forward, a tree moved to the side as a lone Ursa appeared. It spotted Brandon and growled then roared as it charged at him. Brandon quickly rolled out of the way as the ursa turned around and charged again. Brandon pulled out his saber and charge at the ursa. Brandon moved to the left and slashed at the unprotected part of the legs which Brandon missed as he quickly dodged the ursa's strike. Brandon turned around as the ursa strike again. As he ducked down, the ursa raise up, and as it was about to slam it paws down, someone dropped from the trees stabbing a trident into the ursa's unarmored belly as it fell backwards to the ground. Brandon walked to the person, who was the same age as Alex and had dark purple hair that went down to his backbone. The teen pulled out the trident and turned around. He was wearing a brown vest with a plain white t-shirt underneath, a pair of navy-blue jeans with knee pads and black boots. Around his arms were bracelets and fingerless gloves, on his head was a captain's hat and a white cloak over his clothes. Brandon saw some part of his tan skin were reptile scales. Brandon then knew that this guy was a faunus. The faunus' trident then compressed until it was a small cylinder as he looked at Brandon with cyan eyes, as Brandon sheathed his saber while saying "Guess we're partners now"

The faunus nodded as Brandon continued "Well, the name's Brandon. What's yours" The faunus then said, "The name's Vincent nice to meet you Brandon."

Brandon shook Vincent's hand as Vincent said, "May we have many adventure together"

Brandon just blinked then smiled as they both walked together to the north end.

0940hrs

Both, Brandon and Vincent were still heading north to the temple. They soon heard something as Vincent said "What was that" Brandon responded to the question "I don't know, let's check it out"

Both of them walked to the noise. Once nearby they saw a giant scorpion faced away from them and was against a preying mantis grimm as Vincent said shocked "My god, those two Grimms are the Deathstalker and Deathprayer"

Both Brandon and Vincent could see that the Deathprayer has seen a fair share of battles for it's bone-like armor had scratches all over and the bone-blades were jagged and the final thing Vincent noticed was that the Deathprayer was a male. Vincent only knew that when a male mates with a female and when the female is about to give birth they have the habit to eat the male's head off, then a revelation struck him. He was once told that something the male fights back and kills it's mate and moves onto the next mate it finds. Vincent then whispered to Brandon "This is not good my friend" Brandon quickly responded "Why's that" Vincent continued "This Deathprayer by it's armor has killed many females which originally its the other way around" Brandon then whispered "That's not good, let's leave then."

but as Brandon stepped back he snapped a twig, as the Deathprayer snapped it's head to the noise and saw Brandon. The Deathprayer screech and ran towards Brandon knocking the Deathstalker to the side and chase the two boys north, as the Deathstalker look toward where the mantis was then headed back into a nearby cave to rest unaware that will be it's last.

0943hrs

Alex and Mae reached the temple, as both neared the temple they saw that the relics that Ozpin talked about were chess pieces. Mae walked towards the golden bishop and grab it and said "Bishop?" Alex look at it then said "Sure, why not."

Soon two other students arrived as Alex saw the girl he was next to with a blond girl as they approached the temple. While they went to grab their piece, Brandon and Vincent ran out of the forest shortly following them was a Deathprayer as Mae curiously said "Did they ran all this way here with a Deathprayer after them" Alex just sigh and said "I guess so"

Alex pulled out his tantō and fired his last shot at the mantis as it turned it's attention to Alex as he said while reloading "Brandon grab a chess piece quickly and help us out"

Brandon nodded and ran to the other golden bishop piece as Vincent formed his trident and Mae unsheathe her scimitar. But before the Deathprayer attacked a scream was heard as the Deathprayer tilt it's head in confusion as the sound grew louder as it turn out to be a blond guy as he smashed into another person, who was blonde's sister and to add an Ursa ran out of the woods as an explosion soon followed as a orange hair girl appear from behind it, as a boy in a Chinese gear slowly emerge from the woods, then a red hair girl with roman armor ran out as the Deathstalker from before emerge from the forest as the Deathprayer's head was still tilted at the events. Soon another screech was heard above them as the Deathprayer looked up as the group did the same to see a Nevermore circling the temple as Brandon look closely to see that Weiss hanging on the Nevermore's talons as he smirk as he thought to himself 'Looks like she's just hanging around'

Soon Weiss lose her grip and fell towards the ground but before she reach the ground the blonde guy jump off the tree branch and caught Weiss as Alex said "He does know that he going to fall too right" Brandon quickly responded "I think that guy is either trying to score some points or just plain stupid" Vincent then add "Either way he quite brave to do something foolish for her" Mae soon add to the replies "I-I think th-that" Mae expression change as she continued "He's just a damn fool just trying to impress someone who's just not interested"

All the guys looked at Mae in shook, mainly Alex who got use to Mae shyness, but to find out this out, was a little shocking ,as Mae notice them staring and quickly looked away in embarrassment.

But that was cut short as the Deathprayer turn back to the group and screech then charge at them as they each rolled out of the way as mantis turn but slide down as it screech. The mantis quickly got up and screech again but this time angrily, but it didn't charge as it was shot in it's bone armor as it glared at Alex, as he fired again, but the shot was deflected by the Grimm's scythe-hand while Brandon and Mae ran towards it. Brandon pulled out his saber and slash at the Deathprayer, but was blocked by the other scythe hand, as Mae slash at the unprotected part of it body as it screech in pain then slam the flat side of it's claw into Mae. The strike knock back as an anchor slam into the deathprayer causing it to screech in pain . Vincent ran towards the anchor as the mantis Grimm swung it scythe-hand at him, but both Brandon and Alex intersect then with their blades as Vincent said to the both of them "Thanks for the assist lads"

Both of them nodded as the sound of a chainsaw roaring was heard as Mae with a now serious look charge and smash the chainsaw at the Deathprayer's right arm. Soon the right arm fell to the ground as the mantis screech in pain as it back away to recover, but Alex use his semblance to and appear under it and jump up and fire his remaining bullets into the deathprayer as it move away by jumping up, as the group stared at it. Alex open the handle as smoking bullets shells were ejected out as Alex closed it as he now knows that his bullets were doing very little damage to the Grimm. The Deathprayer soon slam into the as dust was kicked up, covering the mantis, as the group readied their weapons. Soon the grimm zoom out of the dust and pass the group as the group looked in confusion then the ground burst open as the group moved out of the way. The ground was sliced open as the slice ended at were the Deathprayer was as both Alex and Brandon said in sync "Holy shit!"

The Deathprayer turn as it lower its body, then it jumped up as it quickly came down slamming the ground near the group as it smash it only scythe-hand into the ground at both Brandon and Vincent as they rolled out of the way. The mantis grimm then drag it arm across the ground as it turn to the other two as Mae move away as Alex jumped over the mantis' arm. The group reform as Vincent asked "Does anyone have any ideas" Mae quickly responded "I got nothing."

The group move out of the way as the deathprayer swung it arm horizontal that could chop them in half as Alex said "Damn. Does this Grimm know when to give up" Brandon reply "I don't think so Alex"

Soon Both Alex and Mae ran at the Grimm slashing multiple times at the grimm's unprotected body, but the Deathprayer move it's only arm and block the strikes as the two move back to the others as Alex then said "Brandon, I know it's dangerous to use it, but we have no choice" Brandon knew what Alex was saying and said ""Fine, I'll do it"

Brandon sheathe his saber and place his left leg in front, then the right leg back only by a few inches, next he grip the scabbard with his right hand move his left hand over to grip the hilt as he said to the others "Don't come near me and distract the overgrown insect for a few seconds."

Alex with arbiter out and quickly change it into the katana, as Mae made her chainsaw roar, and Vincent change his anchor back to the trident, soon they all charge at the Deathprayer, as Brandon place his left hand on the hilt and pull only a small portion of the blade out as the yang symbol on the hilt started to glow as the surrounding area small glowing balls flow towards Brandon's saber as he grinded his teeth in pain as on the blade white veins started to grow on the blade. The three of the group were hitting the Deathprayer when the timing was right, Alex slash the arbiter down, but was block as Mae grind her chainsaw across the body as it swung it arm at her, but Vincent block it with his trident. Soon Brandon shouted "Get away from the Grimm. NOW!"

Alex us his semblance and grab Mae as she yelled in surprise and move away as Vincent ran away from the grimm, as Brandon ran towards the Deathprayer who took the challenge as it too charge. Before the two clash Brandon let a breath out and if time itself slowed down he pull out his saber as more and more veins appear throughout the blade as the veins beat in and out like regular veins. As the saber fully exit the scabbard time resume it's normal speed as both pass each other as Brandon slided on his knees as the saber pointed outwards as the veins on the blade faded away as Brandon said "The unholy deed is active and forgiven."

The Deathprayer, soon slowly broke into particles as they drifted away n the wind as Brandon whispered "Amen"

Auditorium 2130hrs

"Blake Belladonna. Ruby Rose. Weiss Schnee. Yang Xiao Long. The four of you obtained the white knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team RWBY. Led by...Ruby Rose!"

Brandon and the other watch as Yang hugged Ruby as the group waited, then walk towards the stage as Team RWBY walked pass them. Once the four were on the stage Ozpin spoke into the microphone "Brandon Copper. Alexander Drucl. Mae Pavlov. Vincent Sagara. The four of you obtained the white bishop pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team ABMV. Led by...Alexander Drucl!"

Brandon patted Alex on his back as Vincent soon join in patting Alex as Brandon said "I looked forward working with you Alex"

Ozpin looked at them and said to himself "This will definitely be an interesting year."

Well know that this is finally I will begin soon on the next chapter and hopefully post it before the end of June, but I have stuff to do in the summer and a summer camp for my Boy Scouts so I may or may not be able to update fast, but who cares. And to anyone who can guess why me and my editor choose the Deathprayer to be a mantis gets a cookie.
