Chapter Four
Pan and I began moving around in a circle. I held my sword tightly in my hand and never took my eyes off of him. I heard rustling in the bushes behind me. Keeping my eyes on Pan, I swung my sword and heard a voice cry out in pain.
Pan smiled darkly at me, "Come out." he ordered.
I heard someone stand up and walk out of the bushes. I turned and saw Felix walking out, clutching his face.
"Awww Felix, did I hurt you?" I asked sweetly.
He growled and swung his club at me. I dodged under it easily and hit the but on my sword on the back of his head. He crumpled to the ground, unconscious. I flipped him over onto his back and took a good look at his face. My sword had sliced his skin diagonally from his eyebrow, across his nose, and down his cheek.
"Oh, that's gonna leave a scar."
I jumped off Felix and turned back towards Pan, "No more distractions." I said pointing my sword at him.
He smirked and bowed, "Whatever the lady wishes."
I laughed, "I may be a girl Pan, but I'm no lady." I looked him up and down and gave him a suggestive look, "Sorry to disappoint."
The smirk disappeared from his face as a dark look appeared. He snarled and swung his sword. I blocked it easily and swung my leg under him, knocking him down to the ground. He laughed as he got up.
"Alright, if that's how you want to play."
He jumped forward and used his strength to push me back against a tree, his sword against my neck.
"Give up?" he breathed, inches away from my face.
I closed the distance between our faces, brushing my lips teasingly against his. I brought my lips to his ear and whispered, "Never" before kneeing him in the stomach. I pushed him away and brought my sword to his neck. He looked up at me and went down on his knees,
"Go ahead," he said, "kill me."
"I never lose Pan, I never can lose, if I do, I'm dead." I let my sword fall away from his neck. "That's the life I live. So if you plan on killing me, expect a fight." I turned away and picked up my bow and arrows. I heard Pan get up and walk towards me. Suddenly my body flies and slams into a try. I cry out in pain as I fall to the ground. I look up to see Pan kneeling by my side, he grips my face with his hand and smiles.
"I look forward to it."
Then he gets up and walks away, leaving me breathing heavily on the ground.
A/N: Yeah, Felix gets his scar from Julia...he's not going to be very happy when he wakes up
