Chapter Four: Dinner and a Movie

"Make you food?" Kasamatsu repeated, as if he was having a hard time understanding the demand. Aomine nodded and pointed to the fridge. "Do you eat?" Kasamatsu asked after a moment, just wonder what the heck a demon would eat in the first place.

"Of course. But... You don't want to know what. Just make me human food."

"What makes you think I know how to cook?"

"Because, you're a human. Shouldn't humans know these things?"

"... Not necessarily. But it is a good skill to have." He tensed up, finally managing to slip away from the pinned arms. He pursed his lips into a small line as he hesitantly walked to the fridge. It was full of ingredients and such, but... nothing human.

Kasamatsu paled, feeling that tingling sensation before you vomited. He managed to hold it down, and closed the fridge door with a bang. "Eyes! You eat eyeballs!? They aren't even human eyes!"

Aomine shrugged, only pissing Kasamatsu off more with his added nonchalance. "Would it make you feel better if they were human eyes?" He took the silence as a 'no', and just opened his cupboards, which were practically empty.

"Hmm, I guess I'll get Ryou to go get some human food."

"You have human food down here?"

"No, he has to go to your world."

"What! How come this 'Ryou' person can go but I can't!?"

"Ryou's a demon; he could pass through the gate. Although demons rarely go to the human world. It takes a lot out of the soul, anyways."

"... You don't mean to tell me you have a soul?"

"Tch," Aomine rolled his eyes. "Every demon has a soul. But it's different from human souls."

Kasamatsu looked away, "You learn something new every day." He watched Aomine pull a dark blue phone out, making him blink in wonder.

The blue king hit a single button. Kasamatsu could faintly hear a ringing, and then the click of someone answering the other line. "Ryou, listen, I need you to go up to the Human world and buy some human food, okay?... No,... Yeah, whatever. Okay. Bye."

"What did he say.. ?" Kasamatsu asked as Aomine shoved his phone back into his pocket.

"He said he'll do it. Not that he had much of a choice." Aomine smirked. "I am their King, after all."

"... Brat."

A few hours had passed by the time Ryou had returned, grocery bags in hand. He fumbled to put them away in their proper cupboards, stuttering as he did so. "S- Sorry it took so long, Boss."

"Ryou, what did I say about calling me that?"

"I'm sorry, Aomine-san!"

"Tch." Aomine raised his hand, making the brown haired demon jump. ".. Good job." He stated awkwardly, patting the demon's shoulder and then giving him a light push towards the door.

Ryou just gave him one of those who-are-you looks before making his way out of Aomine's top floor suite, appearing a bit confused.

"Not used to you being polite or something?" Kasamatsu asked, uncrossing his arms as Aomine dumped the bags of groceries into his arms. He scowled, but didn't say anything else as he took them back into the kitchen.

"Why be polite?" Aomine smirked, lazily following the human and leaning against the wall.

"Weren't you taught any manners?"

"In the demon world? The first thing I was taught was to eat whatever you se-"

"Too much information." Kasamatsu interrupted, throwing a baby carrot over his shoulder. He watched the small orange vegetable bounce off the dark blue haired King's shoulder out of the corner of his eye, smirking in amusement. "Anyway, what kind of human food would a demon eat?" Kasamatsu asked.

He knew how to make some of the basic things, but he knew more Japanese dishes than anything else. His mother rarely even made any other food but Japanese.

"Anything that is good." Aomine answered after giving it a few seconds of thought.

"If you say so." Kasamatsu grumbled. He'd rather have the blue haired demon tell him what he should make in case he made something the demon didn't like.

Kasamatsu would like to keep his eyeballs.

"Where do you keep the pans and stuff? Or do demons not need those?"

Aomine scoffed, pushed himself off the wall to walk further into the kitchen, "Rarely. But pots n' pans are kept in the bottom cupboards, sempai."

"..." Kasamatsu stayed silent, looking over the various bags of foods the brown haired demon boy had gone to get. 'Speaking of... What was his name? Ryou? Close enough... Hm. What to make, what to make...' Kasamatsu paused, spotting a few medium sized packets buried under a head of lettuce. 'Curry? Kare Raisu, maybe?' Finally making up his mind, he retrieved the utensils and pots necessary, surprised that the demon actually did have a rice maker.

"This makes my job easier." Kasamatsu muttered. Aomine made a noise of acknowledgement, and Kasamatsu turned just in time to see the blue King leave the kitchen, footsteps fading away down the hall. He shrugged, and got back to work, rolling up his sleeves.

OoOoO

"You know, you really need more colors in this place." Aomine turned, hearing the human's voice from behind him.

Aomine shrugged, stifling a yawn, "Can't." He drawled out lazily, flipping another page of his magazine. He smirked, practically feeling the anger radiating off the human behind him.

"Your food is ready." Kasamatsu growled out, turning sharply and practically marching back into the kitchen.

Aomine gave his magazine one last look, before pushing himself off from the couch he was resting on, and heading into the kitchen. "So soon?" He asked, amused at the annoyance in the 18 year old's voice.

Kasamatsu only ignored him, passing him an ocean blue plate and a matching blue fork. "It's hot." He mumbled, leaning against the counter as he heaved a sigh.

Aomine stared at the blue-grey eyes of the male, then down at his plate. He smirked, and thanked the human.

"Y- You're welcome..." Kasamatsu replied, cheeks darkening slightly as he wiped his forehead of any sweat. Aomine's eyes scanned the kitchen area before watching Kasamatsu begin to wash the dirtied dishes. "Aren't you having any?" He demanded after a moment.

"No. I'm not hungry." Kasamatsu huffed out, plates clattering and clanking as he continued to wash.

"So, what, you think you could just starve yourself?"

"No, I-"

"Eat." Aomine held his fork out, glaring. Kasamatsu returned the glare, shaking his head.

"No."

"Eat it."

"No!"

"Eat it."

"No."

"That's it. You've done it now, sempai." Aomine chuckled darkly, taking the human by the chin. He forced his mouth open, put the human's food inside his mouth.

Kasamatsu coughed and hacked for a good minute, before managing to swallow the kare raisu. "Idiot!" He yelled, swinging his fist to punch the demon.

Aomine's dark chuckling increased, making Kasamatsu shake his head in annoyance. "Did you want to kill me?"

"Please, Yukio, you didn't die. But, I wouldn't let you, anyway." Aomine smirked.

"What did I say about not using my first name oh-so-casually!" Kasamatsu glared, clenching his fist, wanting to hit the demon again.

"Feisty." Aomine teased, shovelling the warm food into his mouth messily. Kasamatsu just frowned and turned around, finishing up the rest of the dishes. "Stupid." He muttered.

OoOoO

Not even an hour had gone by, yet the two were seated on the couch in front of the TV. Aomine had insisted on watching a movie, so now here they were.

"Did you seriously have to choose Jackie Chan?"

"Hey, that human guy is cool." Aomine retorted, eyes focused on the bright flashes on the screen. Kasamatsu rolled his eyes before turning his attention back to the movie.

They continued to watch the movie in silence, before Aomine spoke, "Sempai, you could sleep with me if you want."

Kasamatsu nearly choked on his words, "The hell - Why would I want to do that?"

"Because - believe it or not - my room is the only room that has a bed. On this floor." Aomine informed, amused at the black haired teen's reaction.

"T- Then give me my own floor!" Kasamatsu stammered out, eyes narrowing.

"No can do," The Blue King shook his head, shifting his position so his arm was casually resting on the shorter male's shoulders. "The rest of the floors need keys to unlock them."

"So, suddenly this is some sort of video game?" Kasamatsu knocked his arm off, eyes glued to the demon beside him.

Aomine raised his hands, "Hey, I was just too lazy to go out and find these keys." He announced with a yawn.

"..." Kasamatsu went silent, choosing to glare openly at Aomine. Aomine only smirked at his expression and focused back on the movie, now clueless on what had been happening since he stopped watching to pay attention to Kasamatsu.

Aomine opened his mouth, about to comment on a scene that had just played out on the screen, but was interrupted by his phone buzzing. He blinked, glancing at his captured human.

Kasamatsu was too busy watching the current fight scene that just started, so Aomine picked up his phone and flipped it open. 'A text...? From Akashi.' He stood, telling Kasamatsu that he'd be right back, and left the living room to head into his room for more privacy.

His eyes scanned over the text and his grip tightened on his cell phone, the small screen cracking. "So the meeting is in my Kingdom, huh?"
