"No, because then he would have to…" Kurt laughed as he and Blaine came through the front door carrying lot's bags with huge happy grins on there faces, they were defiantly best friends
"Kurt is that you?" Burt called interrupting the boy's conversation; he was sitting in the front room watching TV as usual.
"Yeah Dad," Kurt called back dropping his bags in the hall way and grinning at Blaine who was desperate to use the hair gel he brought to tame his wild curls. Usually Kurt liked things perfect but there was something about Blaine's scruffiness that he loved and he was sad that the curls would leave. Blaine ran his fingers through his curls nervously at the thought of meeting Kurt's Dad. Why did this feel like the night where the boyfriend met the parents? "Blaine for the love of grilled cheesus just go and fix you're hair!" Kurt sighed rolling his eyes as Blaine caught sight of himself in the mirror and tried to smooth them down.
Blaine gave Kurt a look, "Grilled cheesus?" he asked raising an eyebrow.
"Long story, involving Finn making grilled cheese and seeing the image of Jesus in the burnt part and praying to it," Kurt said laughing at the expression that appeared on Blaine's face at the explanation, "Yep that's my brother," Kurt laughed.
"Okay…I think I'm going to fix my hair now…" Blaine said giving Kurt the same look as before and taking one of his bags and going up stairs. Kurt couldn't help but smile when he walked into the front room, but that disappeared when he realised his Dad was waiting for him. He was standing in front of the TV that he had turned off when he heard his son walk into the room.
"Hey Dad, what up?" Kurt asked biting his lip a bit worriedly, "Where's Carole?"
"She's gone out to get some more milk," Burt said folding his arms across his chest so Kurt knew he meant business, "Where's you're…friend?"
"Up stairs, he'll be down in a minute," Kurt said sitting on the sofa and crossing his legs, "Why is there a problem?"
"You shouldn't have let him stay here without my permission Kurt you should know better," Burt said getting into his 'Dad' mode.
"I called Carole, she said it was fine," Kurt said folding his arms just as his Dad had.
"Okay, but was it really appropriate to sleep with him like that?" Burt asked shifting his weight from his left leg to his right.
"It wasn't planned. He was upset so I was comforting him, and we were watching a film and we just fell asleep, and why is it not appropriate?" Kurt asked raising an eyebrow.
"Because…because…" he said stuttered trying to form a sentence in his head.
"Because were both gay?" Kurt asked feeling slightly angry.
"Well…that doesn't make it any more appropriate," Burt said.
"Dad, gay people can be just friends you know. I know me being gay is hard for you and I respect that really I do. But you need to trust me!" Kurt sighed, "I'm not just going to throw my self at him because he's gay."
"Well…then…I suppose he can stay," Burt said slightly embarrassed at the conversation he was having with his son. Kurt grinned getting to his feet and hugging his Dad tightly.
"Thanks Dad," he squealed. Burt smiled at the happy grin on his son's face and hugged his son back.
"I do trust you Kurt, but I don't know whether I trust him. I mean have you seen him? He looks…well…like a homeless person," Burt groaned think back to the curly hair.
"First of all Dad he sort of is. Secondly you don't know him so you can't just judge him when you see him on the night that his parent's kicked him out because of who he is. Please just give him a chance? He likes football and cars you will like him I know it," Kurt said begging his farther.
"He likes football? But he's…."Burt said looking very shocked
"Gay, yeah not everyone's quiet as…as…." Kurt said struggling to find the right word.
"Stereotypical?" Blaine asked walking into the room with a new out fit that Kurt had put together for him and not one single hair out of place, "Oh God that sounds really bad. I didn't mean it like that I just…I…"
"Blaine relax I know what you meant," Kurt said walking over and giving Blaine an approving nod, "hmm…not bad, although I strangely miss the curls." He commented walked around Blaine like he was an exhibit in an art museum.
"Umm…Honey making me feel a little uncomfortable here," Blaine said laughing nervously as Kurt continued to review him. Shit had he just call Kurt Honey in front of his Dad.
"Don't be you look amazing," Kurt said walking up to Blaine and straightening his collar his hands brushing against Blaine's neck making Blaine blush ever so slightly.
"You picked it out not me," Blaine said laughing nervously again.
"Next time you have a date just call me and I'll sort you out an outfit," Kurt said forcing a grin. Why did it hurt to think of Blaine with another guy?
"Will do," Blaine grinned. Why did he immediately think of Kurt when he said date?
Burt coughed loudly as he watched the to boys grin around each other. Did the other boy just call his son honey? Burt watched as Kurt's hands gently brushed against Blaine's neck when he sorted out his collar and the way that Blaine blushed at the contact of Kurt's hands.
"Oh sorry," Kurt said realising he had forgotten his Dad was standing there at Blaine's presence, "Dad this is Blaine, Blaine this is my Dad," He said giving Blaine an encouraging smile when he looked nervous.
"Nice to meet you," Burt said gruffly letting hand out for Blaine to shake.
"You to Mr Hummel," Blaine said and shaking it feeling that Burt was gripping hold of hid hand a little too hard for comfort.
Kurt gave his Dad and look and Burt coughed, "Call me Burt," he said finally letting go off Blaine's hand. Blaine nodded feeling the blood run back to his finger tips.
…
…
…
Kurt and Blaine were in Kurt's room sitting on Kurt's bed together, they were both sitting with there back against the headboard and here legs stretched out across the bed, Blaine was shorter then Kurt and Kurt surprised himself when he started running his fingers through Blaine's hair whilst they were watching X-factor after an awkward dinner with Carole, Burt, Kurt, Finn and Blaine. Blaine looked up at Kurt when he felt his fingers running through his hair wondering why he loved the thought of Kurt's hands in his hair. Kurt expected Blaine to push his hands away but Blaine just looked up at him with a slight smile across his face.
"What are you doing?" Blaine asked.
"Sorry," Kurt blushed deeply, "I miss you're curls that's all."
"Oh, I thought you were giving me a head massage it felt really good," Blaine said making up an excuse.
"Want to me keep going?" Kurt asked tiling his head to the side.
"Yes, please," Blaine nodded. He immediately felt Kurt's hands in his hair working out the gel, then he actually started to massage his scalp and even though the adverts had finished on TV it was hard to concentrate on anything else. Kurt stared to work a little harder and Blaine gave up trying to keep the moan in his throat under bay. Kurt hands froze at the moan and he bit his lip.
"Sorry," Blaine said wanting Kurt to start again.
"Don't worry about it," Kurt said nervously, he'd felt something deep in the pit of his stomach at that moan.
"You don't have to stop," Blaine said weakly looking anywhere at Kurt and going bright red.
"Ummm…" Kurt said also not looking at Blaine with a blush in his cheeks.
"Never mind," Blaine murmured just loud enough for Kurt to hear, he sat up a bit straighter and stared at the TV in front of him not really watching it but thinking.
What the hell was that? Why did it feel so good to have Kurt's hands in you're hair? Kurt…funny, beautiful, stylish, sexy Kurt…whoa had he just called Kurt sexy. For the love of grilled cheesus, great now he was saying it, Blaine get you're head together, you are not crushing on Kurt, you've only know the guy a couple of days that's crazy! And you're living with him for Christ sake! Were friends, just friends. He isn't having all these stupid jumbled up feelings. He didn't want Blaine to kiss him. Whoa, since when has he wanted to kiss Kurt? Since now apparently. Blaine couldn't help but peak at Kurt who was sitting there looking perfect with the slightest frown on his face as he watched some girls audition wearing the same glittery pink tops. Blaine smiled at the thoughts that were going around Kurt's head at the sight of them, Blaine defiantly wasn't a fashion diva but even he knew that those where a definite crime against fashion.
"Oh God it hurts to look," Kurt groaned looking away with his eyes closed. Blaine laughed and bit his lip. Oh God, he liked Kurt, he liked Kurt a hell of a lot.
"It's over," Blaine said once the girls had gone of the screen.
"Thank…" Kurt started but got interrupted by Blaine.
"Grilled Cheesus?" he suggested with a smile that could melt butter.
"Exactly," Kurt smiled, Kurt ran his fingers through his hair messing it up slightly, just enough to tussle it up about. Blaine tried not to stare at Kurt opened mouthed at Kurt's sexy messy hair but failed entirely. Kurt cursed under his breath and grabbed a mirror and hair brush out of the top draw of his bedside table and started to put it back into his original neat state.
"You should wear you're hair messed up some time, the guys would go crazy," Blaine blushed, did he really just say that?
"What guys? You are the only other gay guy I know," Kurt smiled, "What…does it make you crazy?"
"Maybe," Blaine answered lamely after a few minutes of silence.
"Oh," was all Kurt managed to say blushing deeply.
Shit, Blaine mentally cursed himself, great way to get Kurt to like you! By making him feel awkward! God just look at him, he is so beautiful, so perfect! Why does he make you act like a complete idiot? "Kurt?" Blaine asked, he just wanted to fill the silence, he didn't know what he was going to say next.
"Yeah?" Kurt replied looking down at Blaine the blush disappearing slightly from his cheeks.
"I…We…Were friends right?" Blaine asked still having no idea what to say.
"Of course," Kurt laughed with a roll of his eyes.
"I was just wondering…have you ever kissed another boy?" Blaine asked awkwardly.
Kurt laughed bitterly, "Karofsky."
"Wait what?" Blaine exclaimed.
"Well…he kissed me," Kurt muttered darkly wincing as he remember the taste of Dave's sour tongue being shoved down his throat. Kurt did not expect Blaine's reaction.
Blaine let out a huge angry breath, he muttered something quietly, he repeated it again and again getting a little louder each time until Kurt could make out what he was saying, "I'll kill him."
"Blaine relax, please," Kurt sighed rolling his eyes.
"When?" Blaine asked his voice an angry growl.
"A few days ago," Kurt said shuddering slightly.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Blaine asked feeling slightly hurt that Kurt hadn't trust him with this information.
"I didn't want to talk about it, and I didn't want you to think about it so I just…tried to forget about it," Kurt shrugged. Blaine was shaking, what the hell what Karofsky's problem?
Kurt was crying thinking about it again, he hadn't realised the tears until his felt one drip onto his lap, he quickly looked away not wanted Blaine to see him cry but Blaine saw the tear fall, "Kurt I'm sorry, I'm sorry you're first kiss wasn't with someone who was special, someone who really sees how truly amazing you are, even you don't see it Kurt. How perfect you are, the stupid sexy way you roll you're eyes, the way you lick you're lips without even noticing you're doing it, how amazingly perfect and beautiful you're skin is, the way your nose wrinkles after you sneeze, the way you run you're finger through you're hair when you're nervous and how you freak out about messing it up after. They way that when we go out and another guy looks at you, you blush and quickly look away. The way you look at you're nails when you're bored, the way you bite you're lip in the most crazily sexy way when you're confused, I'm sorry that you're first kiss wasn't with someone who saw you as I do," Blaine said his words coming out in a gush, just wanted Kurt to stop crying.
Kurt's head spun around, "I…" he managed to stutter after about a minute of he two boys starting at each other intensely.
"Kurt, I…forget I said that," Blaine finished weakly blushing furiously.
"Okay," Kurt agreed. This was crazy, like Blaine said they had only knew each other for a few days, But then did he really think all those things about him? Oh God I just missed out on a big opportunity. How was he going to bring it up again? Dam it Kurt!
"I'm sorry," Blaine said looking back at the TV screen, Kurt bit his lip. Dam it, why, why hadn't he done something more then just a lame, 'okay?'
"Blaine?" Kurt asked shaking ever so slightly.
"Mmm," Blaine replied looking up at Kurt still blushing slightly.
"I do like you," Kurt told him, "But I don't know….I mean we've only just met!"
Blaine smiled and moved towards Kurt and gently kissed his cheek making Kurt's heart thump in an erratic beat. Blaine tried his best not to go any further then that but Kurt's skin was so soft! Oh my god he smelt so good, Blaine bit back a moan. "Kurt," he whispered right near Kurt's ear making Kurt shiver as he felt his hot breath.
"Blaine," Kurt replied closing his eyes. Oh holy cheesus his lips.
"I…can….I…" Blaine stuttered in a whisper, god he wanted to kiss Kurt, just once, to know what it felt like. But he couldn't ask Kurt could he?
"Can you what?" Kurt asked also whispering surprising himself that he could make a whole sentence with this beautiful boy so close to him. Blaine decide to go for it, he took a deep breath planning to just kiss Kurt gently but as soon as there lips met, Oh. My. Dear. God. Both boys gasped loudly, there was…a…spark was the only thing that the boys could describe it has which cause Kurt to groan loudly, Blaine loved the sound pulling Kurt closer and kissing him more fiercely wanted to hear the sound again. Kurt couldn't believe it, was this really happening? Kurt pulled away looking at Blaine with a wary expression across his face.
"Wow," Was all Blaine managed to gasp a grin spreading across his face.
