"Wrath, you do realize that Frieza will probably betray us, right?" Cado whispered while walking down the halls.
"What do you mean?" the Symbiote asked.
"I believe that Frieza was the one that destroyed Planet Vegeta, my home." Cado's tail dropped with sadness.
"I heard that a meteorite destroyed that planet," Wrath replied. "The scientists that experimented on me talked about it before."
"Yea, I know. I'm just trying to keep an open mind."
"Wait! Doesn't that Scouter of yours acts as a communication device too? Someone could have heard what you said!"
"Oh, crap!" Cado quickly removed the device from his head and ran to the ship.
Cado boarded, punched in the coordinates Frieza gave him, and together, they sped forwards.
Meanwhile on Earth…
Once more at Bulma's vacation lodge, the gang was all here.
Bulma, Chi-Chi and Videl were talking story while holding Bulla and Pan, who were sleeping. Marron, Goten and Trunks were playing, as Android 17, Android 18 and Krillin watched. Gohan and Piccolo were busy grilling up food, with Pilaf, Shu and Mai as the servers. Whis and Beerus were fighting over said food against Buu, while Mr. Satan tried to calm him down and offer him candy. Even Lemo and Cheelai were teaching Broly how to use various utensils.
And, of course, Goku and Vegeta were sparring with one another skimming over the sea and throwing lightning-quick punches and kicks.
"C'mon, Kakarot, that all you got?" Vegeta said confidently.
"This ain't nothing but a warmup," Goku responded with a grin.
Just as the two were about to launch into Super Saiyan mode, they suddenly stopped and looked upwards.
"Vegeta, you sense that?"
"Yeah, a high power level, but not like Frieza's."
They sped back towards everyone.
"I think we're about to have some company," Goku told everyone.
Just then, Cado's ship broke through the clouds and floated above the water. The door opened, the ramp lowered, and Cado stepped out, causing a strong wind to blow over the lodge.
"That's… a Saiyan," Broly observed.
"Yeah, and he seems strong," Piccolo responded.
"Ah, whatever, we can take him on!" Trunks exclaimed. "Right, Goten?"
Goten nodded and the two stood next to one another, preparing to perform the fusion technique.
"Fu—shion.."
"Stop!" Goku commanded, and the boys froze, midway through their dance, looking up at him.
"Let's hear him out first. Maybe he isn't a foe."
"That's what you said when we first saw Broly and his father, and we ended fighting one of our toughest battles," Vegeta said.
"But look at where Broly is now. He's with us, isn't he?" Goku asked, looking at Broly, who smiled and nodded in return.
"Hmph. Fine, but be on guard. That goes for all of you." Vegeta turned towards everyone, and they nodded in return, serious looks on their faces.
"Let's go, Kakarot."
"Right behind you."
They flew towards Cado.
"Who are you, Saiyan, and what do you want?" Vegeta harshly asked.
Cado smiled.
"I am Cado. Under Lord Frieza's orders, I am to eliminate all Saiyan survivors on this planet, except for one named Goku. He is to return with me back to my lord's ship."
Vegeta scoffed. "Oh great. He's one of Frieza's lackies."
"Well, you're not taking me, but try your best!" Goku said while raising a fist.
Cado was astonished. This Saiyan had the same hair as Uncle Bardock. Could it really be Kakarot? And what was the other one named? Vegeta? As in Prince Vegeta?
"What's wrong?" Wrath asked from within Cado.
"Uh, nothing. They just look like Saiyans I knew," Cado muttered while shaking his head.
"Prepare yourselves, Saiyans!" Cado shouted before powering up in a white glow.
Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta played rock-paper-scissors to see who would get to fight Cado first. Vegeta won by drawing paper while Goku drew rock.
"Aw, man! I wanted to go first," Goku said with disappointment.
"Well, too bad. You lost, so you get to watch," Vegeta responded with a smirk.
He walked right up to Cado's face.
"You want Kakarot? You gotta go through me first."
Wait. Kakarot? So it really was him. Cado always wondered how Kakarot was doing, hoping he would grow up to be strong, and it turned out he was right all along.
Returning to the present, Cado replied, "So be it. Bring it on, prince."
