Merry christmas!

I tug Carl off of Lewis quickly

" CARL! Panicking won't help."

He crosses his arms with his eyes wide clearly still panicking.

" And who says I'm panicking?! I'M NOT PANICKING! Are you panicking?!"

I shush him with a frown as I whisper.

" Carl, what are you going to tell him?"

He shakes his head and shoves me backwards towards lewis.

" Oh no not me, you! I'm just here for moral support."

I breath out exasperated.

" Gee thanks, is this how you are with the black spikey haired kid too?"

Carl glares at me.

" Wilbur."

He reminds me and I sigh.

" Right, Wilbur. What did he do?"

Carl shrugs.

" Besides causing trouble.. I guess he would give a pep-talk about now. Of course he isn't the best example for doing the..."

Ignoring The rambling robot, I turn back to Lewis who is inching back towards the door.

" Oh no you don't!"

I grab his arm and start dragging him over to one of the wooden crates. After he's seated, I grab Carl. I desperately I struggle with what to say.

" Lets try this again...Alright Lewis, this is Carl and we need your help."

Both robot and boy raise an eyebrow at me as they simatamiously respond.

" Really, That's it?"

I roll my eyes and shrug.

" Look I'm trying to make this as simple as possible."

Lewis looks annoyed.

" Just spit it out."

I raise my hands up in defeat.

" Fine!"

I point to Carl standing next to me.

" Carl here is from the far future and now without your help we will both be stranded here in the past. Which will result in messing up our futures. Unless you help us out."

Lewis stares at me then Carl before his frown grows, he stands up.

" Do you think Im stupid?! Like I would belive that!"

Carl attempts to block him from the door.

" But the future-"

Lewis pushes him away as he storms towards the door.

" Why should I care about your futures?"

I take a step closer to him. I need him to listen...

" Because it's your future too." I say quietly.

He freezes and slowly turns back to us.

" What?"

Bingo...
