Well, how was your thanksgiving holiday? ^*^ Lets COMPLETELY forget about how it's been a month or so since my last update. I wanted to update at least once a day, all this week, but that might not happen to tomorrow since I have detention for the first time EVER. Well, those few people who read this (I bet there are some guys reading this. Silly boys) here is the 4th chapter of Horrible meaningless name, oops I meant Sacrifice.
I do not own hetalia. It's as simple as that.
~4 years later~
"Lilli Zwingli," the principal called. The small girl rose, and carried herself across the stage to the speaker. He handed me a roll of paper and shook my hand firmly.
Everyone cheered, especially her cousin, Gilbert. The albino was, hands down, the loudest of all.
The girl smiled numbly and made her way back to her seat. Lilli was the last on the list, so the principal said his final words.
"Congratulations seniors of Hetalia Gakuen high! Celebrate!" He cheered. Every graduating seniors grabbed their hats and threw them up in the air, laughing and cheering and patting others on the back.
Vash came up and trapped Lilli in a bear hug.
"Congratulations Lilli! I'm so proud of you,"
"Danke, bruder," she responded.
"You ready to head home?" He asked, the weariness showing in his voice. Lilli nodded enthusiastically.
Ivan wore his usual childish smile as he made way to the sub-basement, a floor below the actual basement. It had been four years since he had started holding his beloved sister captive. He silently walked through the steel doors.
Natalya was laying on her bed, barely breathing. She was very pale, her hair stringy and greasy, and she was very much in need of a long, hot shower, with a lot of soap. She was still black and blue from the last time she had back talked Ivan.
Any person would describe her as, in one word, broken. Ivan approached her bed as she glanced up at him with empty eyes.
"Privyet, syestra," he said sweetly. Natalya rolled over, turning her back to him. "Aww, why won't you talk to me?" He asked teasingly. He shrugged. "Alright I suppose you don't want dinner,"
Natalya, despite her frail body, shot up like a bullet. Ivan chuckled and handed her a plate. Natalya glanced at her measly peanut butter and jelly sandwich. This was what she ate everyday. Once a day, everyday.
But the broken girl was hungry, and didn't protest. Ivan watched bemusedly as Natalya scarfed it down in two bites.
Then, Ivan talked. He talked about work. He talked about college, and his friends. Natalya just listened, and made no comments, just nodding at certain points, just like he had taught her.
Finally, he checked his watch, and let out an irritated sigh.
"It is time for me to go now, I have my night classes. Proschayte, syestra," he kissed her forehead and left. Natalya let out a breath she hasn't realized she'd been holding. No beating today. She had stuck strictly to the ruled.
Two figures watched from behind a nearby bush as the tall Russian started his car, and left.
"I know he's hiding something!" The female of the two whispered to her partner. The man face palmed.
"Perhaps, he likes his privacy! We shouldn't be doing this! We all have our secrets. Some are best to be kept," he hissed. The female rolled her eyes. When the tail lights disappeared from view, the two executed their plan, or more like, the woman's plan. The two tiptoed to the front door an twisted the knob. Locked.
"Obviously," the man said, rolling his eyes. The woman stuck her tongue out and showed him her brand new lock picking set, and started picking the lock.
"Um...why do you have that?" He gulped nervously. The girl smiled mischievously.
"For reasons," she smirked. The lock clicked. "Why don't you?"
They wandered into a dark hallway.
"Alright, you know what to look for. Get to work," she ordered. The man grumbled and headed up stairs, while the woman headed into the basement. She dug through boxes, but came out disappointed when all she found where old toys, and a few instruments, with the random dead sunflower. She wandered deeper, until she found-
"A lever?" She blinked in surprise. "I wonder... She pulled the lever down and a secret door opened. Honestly, the lever was well hidden, but this woman was a natural at finding things. She stalked up to the doorframe and peeked into it.
