Yeah, yeah. It was irresponsible. He'd heard that story about Phaethon losing control of the chariot thousands of times, but this was a car, wasn't it? Much easier to control than a team of fire-breathing horses.
And seriously—his new little sister was awesome. Not as cool as he was, and in a different way, but Thalia was pretty chill. Sure, she could be sorta dark, and Aegis creeped him out a bit (don't you dare tell), but there was something about this daughter of Zeus that he liked.
So why not let her drive? No harm in trying, right?
