Author's Note:

Ah man I made so many spelling mistakes last chapter...remind me never to write and post a chapter at 2 am ever again.

I'm still accepting OCs! So please send them in, I need at least four for this story...you can PM me or just leave their bio in the reviews.

How's everyone liking the story so far? I'm assuming you guys like it...so I guess I'll keep updating.

Thank you for everything guys! I hope you like the chapter.

I'm thinking about changing the rating to M for gore and swearing.

It's a lot to take in, really it is and she's surprised she hasn't completely lost it or turned into a sobbing mess yet.

She can hear them now, the 'hunters' as Alvin calls them, they're shouting orders and the heavy thud of their boots along with the faint rattle of heavy weapons alerts her to the fact that they weren't there to just capture them.

They were going to shoot and ask questions later.

"Alvin where are we going? The outside doors are locked with a magnetic lock, the only way to get in or out is with a card...even I don't have access to one of those," Brittany explains, paws buried deep in his russet fur.

He isn't exactly going easy with the running, and it feels like she's riding on the back of a wild horse bareback, plus she was never one to like horse back riding...as a kid she was terrified of falling off and being trampled by the animal's massive hooves.

Even now she can feel the fear prickling at her spine, she would hang on for dear life even if it meant pulling out clumps of his fur.

"I'm a huge 200 pound wolf, a door won't hold me back," She glances at his face, catching his eye as he peeks over his shoulder at her, a wolfish grin stretching across his muzzle as their eyes lock and she pulls a frown.

"Just in case you forgot I'm riding on your back, I'll be crushed on impact," She points out with a roll of her eyes as he suddenly turns a corner, she gasps and tucks her body down against his back as his side smacks into the wall.

His long dark claws couldn't find a lot of purchase on the tile flooring and he keeps skidding every few feet, the voices behind them grow even louder and Brittany's body tenses as something whips past her ear, leaving behind a trail of hot air that makes her heart stall in her chest.

They're shooting at them.

"Shit," Alvin scrambles to get his speed back, the impact of the wall had dazed him and slowed his gait, but he lurches forward again, racing down the narrow halls.

Brittany dares a glance back, eyes landing on their attackers who are dressed head to toe in nothing but black, their forms are bulky and heavy, weighed down by full body armor.

She knows nothing about guns but the ones they're wielding are extremely terrifying and intimidating as one of the faceless men swings his gun around, aiming directly for her she feels her body go numb as she realizes...she's going to die.

What happens next is a blur but she can hear the gun go off, a brief flash of hot pain rips through her shoulder and she wonders why she can't hear anything anymore just as she feels Alvin's body slip out from under her.

Like he simply vanished.

She's not totally out of it...she feels arms circle around her, protecting her from smacking against the floor and the world around her suddenly slams back, the sound reaches her first over her shock and she listens blindly as she hears numerous voices shouting orders as the arms around her vanish.

Brittany reaches out for her lost comfort and she blinks, feeling the faint trickle of tears she realizes why the world had blurred out of focus, she was sobbing hysterically.

The bullet, she realizes, had cut clean through her shoulder and exited so she doesn't have to worry about removing the metal from her flesh but the amount of blood is alarming as she rips apart the bottom of her pants.

Years of training in first aid is the only thing she can think of as she uses the fabric to cover up her wound, slowing the bleeding down she turns to the voices.

They're going to die...or not.

It's like a horror movie and an action movie had a baby, there's men performing impressive rolls and using knives as if the small instruments would help but even with all their training it seems useless against the massive wall of flesh and fur.

Alvin's jaws are stained a dark crimson already and a couple of lifeless bodies lay at his sides as his saber-like teeth cut clean through the protective armor covering one of the men's chests, the fountain of blood that spews fourth makes her empty stomach clench as the man struggles to save his life with his fading breaths.

The blade of the knife folds like paper as the tip collides with Alvin's cheek, the wolf gives the fighting man a firm shake before dropping his body and whipping around towards his other attacker.

This man still has a hold of his gun and the bullets are the only weapon that seems to be impacting the rodent-turned wolf, but even the metal shellings aren't stopping him as his mouth clamps down on the masked head of the man, Alvin rears back on his hind legs, leaving the body behind on the ground.

There are more hunters, but they have turned tail and fled back the way they came as Alvin drops the head onto the ground, spitting a mouthful of blood onto the tiles he turns around to face her.

"We have to leave, now,"

Brittany nods numbly, paw clutching her throbbing shoulder she tries to hide the fear and disgust that is surely showing on her face as she stares at the wolf in front of her.

If he sees it he sure doesn't show any inkling that he does as he walks back over to her, staring at her he frowns and looks back down the hall, "You can't hang on like that..."

"Let's just get out of here before someone else..." Brittany bites her cheek and ignores his piercing gaze trained on her as she stands to her feet.

"I'll be fine," She says shortly, walking over to his side she grips his fur and tries to pull herself up.

Her shoulder strains and burns as she grips his fur, the chipette jumps in surprise as Alvin nudges her up the rest of the way with his muzzle.

"I could've gotten up on my own!"

"Yeah, sure..."

She never imagined that their relationship would've turned out like this, when she first begun to talk with him she saw him as a forgotten teen who was locked away like an animal when he didn't seem to deserve it.

Now she sees him for the werewolf he is...and she feels nothing but fear for him...plus he was rash, inconsiderate and selfish, of course she can sort of understand the rash part, he is trying to escape the one place he's been held prisoner in for years...

"Where do you live?" His question catches her off guard and she realizes she had been zoning out, for awhile.

Brittany looks upward towards the sky, taking in the deep vast sight of space and the endless stars above them, the cool night air makes the fresh blood on her shirt turn an icy cold and she shivers slightly.

"I can get home on my own now, you're going to be hunted down by the police and Hunters, I don't want you anywhere near me," Brittany slides off his back, stumbling a bit as she clutches her shoulder and flinches against the wave of dizziness that travels through her momentarily.

A firm paw grips her arm, and she stumbles as she's forced to turn around, Brittany flinches backward as her gaze meets two blazing suns.

"You're going to be killed too, do you not understand that? They'll assume you've been bitten and slaughter you on sight," His grip tightens a bit on her arm and she flinches at the pressing pain, knowing she'll bruise from his manhandling as she tries to yank away from him.

"That doesn't mean I have to show you where I live! Thanks to you I've lost my job and not only that but I'm going to be killed apparently, I didn't even want to help you escape! I just wanted out of that damn cell!" Brittany manages to yank free and glares back at him, her own eyes mirroring a blazing fire, rivaling his as his chest heaves with controlled anger.

"Why do you think they put you in that cell to begin with?! They had something planned for you and it sure as hell wasn't a promotion!" His voice raises an octave but she isn't going to be frightened by his angered tone, for some reason she knows deep down that he wouldn't hurt her...

So she continues to push his limits, grinning sharply she stabs a finger at his chest, "I'm not a complete fool you, maybe they thought you'd slaughter me and eat my organs, maybe they thought you'd rape me and be happy with that! They only wanted to save their own skins, that's why I was in there, I've seen it happen before,"

She crossed the line, she wasn't sure what set him off, the fact that she encroached his personal space, maybe it was the fact that she taunted him by shoving her finger against his chest.

But she crossed the line.

"I would never, ever, rape someone, don't you ever accuse me of that," He snaps darkly, towering over her now as she takes a small step back, she's never seen his eyes like this.

Even when he was in so much pain before, his eyes were never this dark and for a moment she gets to catch a glimpse of the real monster buried deep inside him, and she realizes just how much control he has over it.

She also realizes how stupid she was to bring that up, to even say that his kind were nothing but savages and that she viewed him as just another one of them incapable of controlling his most basic urges. It makes her sick to think she stooped that low, and she knows it won't help erase the fact that she blurted that out she apologizes.

"I-I'm sorry Alvin I didn't, it was stupid of me to say something like that, I don't see you like that..."

He doesn't say a word to her and simply stares off towards the city, arms crossed firmly over his chest as the dark inky depths of his eyes fade back to their normal golden hue.

"Where do you live?"

"I'll show you,"

Her sisters are home, they're almost always home now these days due to the recent outbreaks of Bitten...of course Brittany wasn't going to say anything about that to the munk standing at her side.

"Your clothes are a mess," Brittany eyes him with a wrinkle of her nose and frowns, she's surprised his clothes didn't just fall right off during the change, instead they cling to him in tatters and she's thankful his shirt is worse off than his pants.

"You're not looking so hot either Britt, should we go shopping?" The munk arches a brow at her and she huffs, crossing her arms she tries to ignore his smirk.

"I doubt we'll have any clothes for you," She says firmly as she unlocks her front door, the porch light is still on even though the sun is beginning to break over the towering sky scrapers lining the horizon, how long was she knocked out for?

Her eyes slides over to the munk lounging beside her, waiting to be let in, how long was his change for?!

"What're you gawking at? Are my clothes really that bad?" He raises a eyebrow and glances down at his attire with a frown.

"It's not that, just, how long were you changing for?"

"Ten hours? I think, I'm not sure actually cause they don't really have a clock in there," Brittany gawks openly at him and ignores his pinched expression.

"Can we just go inside already! I smell bacon!" He snaps irritated as she finally steps over the threshold, allowing him to enter in after her he actually closes the door behind him and locks it.

Brittany gets a whiff of bacon and rolls her eyes towards the ceiling, of course he'd smell bacon, wolves are just big dogs after all.

Of course she wasn't going to make that statement out loud, lord knows she's lucky enough to have survived this long in a werewolf's presence, why risk it by taunting him?

Alvin moves silently pass her, his paws barely making a sound on the creaking floorboards as he slinks into the kitchen, Brittany hurries after him.

She really didn't want to explain why a stranger was eating all their bacon at 6 a.m.

"Alvin, you can't just eat it all!" She makes a move to stop him but the munk already has a couple of fistfuls of bacon stuffed in his cheeks, and he moves aside to let her grab the plate that is now half full.

"Hungry..." He grunts around a mouthful as he swallows, she flinches at the amount of food he gulps down and quickly dodges his paws as he reaches for another round of bacon.

The sharp movement causes her injury to flare up and she hisses at the ache that courses through her arm, the chipette barely registers that Alvin takes the plate from her and that his fingers are suddenly on her makeshift bandage.

"Hey don't do that," she tries to recoil from his touch but he holds fast, and the movement of yanking her arm away only makes her cringe in pain again.

"Stop fidgeting you're just making it flare up, it's a clean shot, no bone hit and the bullet went right through. Only thing that'll be a problem is that your muscles are going to be sore," He says, carefully twisting her arm to get a good view of the bullet hole in her flesh.

"That and the wound," Brittany reminds him with a roll of her eyes, she doesn't heal as fast as he might...which reminds her.

"You were shot! EW HEY!" She staggers back, or at least tries too, as a hot tongue swipes over her skin, leaving behind a warm trail of saliva which she tries to escape except Alvin isn't letting her.

She reaches up to shove him away but he grabs her other wrist and suddenly pins them above her head as the countertop bumps against her side, his tongue hasn't left her skin yet and she's both freaked out and alarmed as he licks her wound clean.

"S-stop it!" Brittany twists around, trying to escape his hold as he finally leans back, dried blood on his muzzle as he releases her wrists and grabs the plate of bacon to munch on.

"You sicko! What the hell was that for?! You pervert!" Brittany aims a punch for his gut which he easily avoids, bent over the food now he doesn't try to talk her out of her rage as she continues to try and land a punch to his person.

Her arm is feeling fine.

Brittany pauses in her tantrum to look at the wound, she's only a little shocked to see that there isn't any sort of sign left on her body that she had been shot, there isn't even a scar.

She's still pissed at him though, "Next time tell me you're going to do something like that!" She orders, annoyed that she's actually blushing as his gaze locks with hers.

"You probably would've ran clean out of town if I did warn you," The munk states as his ears twitch and he glances past her.

Brittany turns now and freezes upon seeing her two younger siblings standing at the bottom of the staircase, mouths hanging open as their wide gazes sweep from her to Alvin, and then to the empty plate.

"Great, now I have to make more," Her youngest sister speaks up first, light green eyes pinched slightly with annoyance as she moves into the kitchen to accept the plate back.

Eleanor turns to her oldest sister, "Next time Britt, don't let your boyfriend eat all our breakfast,"

"WHAT?!"

Do you guys think this should be an M rated story? It does mention rape and I'm not sure if that's in the guidelines or not, I'd like to keep it in the T rating so that more people can find it easier but I'm not sure.

What do you guys think? Good chapter, bad? And I know you're probably wondering why I went that far in their argument but you know how it is, when it comes to werewolves or any strange creatures people tend to go too far with their expectations of said creatures, so I thought I'd show that Brittany isn't totally innocent to those accusations of werewolves.

Also am I going too fast? I'd love some feedback on what you guys think, since you're reading it and all that, I want it to be a good read :)

Thank you again for reading and reviewing and also for the follows and favorites!
